Description
Claims (21)
- 電子蒸気供給システムにおいてエアロゾル化可能な基材材料を気化させるためのヒータであって、
当該ヒータは、細長いフォーマットを有し、長さと、幅と、前記長さに実質的に平行な2つの主縁部及び前記幅に実質的に平行な2つの副縁部を有する2対の対向する縁部とを有する電気抵抗性材料の平面要素から形成されており、前記平面要素が、当該ヒータの前記細長いフォーマットを形成するように湾曲され、対向する縁部の前記対のうちの一方の対の前記縁部が互いに隣り合わせに配置され、
前記平面要素が、前記幅に実質的に平行な軸線の周りで、前記2つの副縁部の間の中点又はその近くで湾曲され、前記副縁部が互いに隣り合わせに配置されて、実質的に折り曲げられたフォーマットを有するヒータを形成する、ヒータ。 - 前記平面要素が、実質的に0.25mm~2.5mmの範囲内の曲率半径で前記軸線の周りで湾曲される、請求項1に記載のヒータ。
- 前記平面要素が、前記2つの主縁部に実質的に平行に形成され、容積部のために凹面を画定する少なくとも1つの長手方向の折り目を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のヒータ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの長手方向の折り目が、2つの長手方向の折り目を含み、それぞれが副縁部からヒータ要素の中点に向かって延びる、請求項3に記載のヒータ。
- 前記平面要素の長さがL1であり、前記平面要素の幅がL2であり、比L1:L2が、実質的に4:1~12:1の範囲内にある、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 当該ヒータの前記細長いフォーマットが、長さLH及び幅WHを有し、比LH:WHが実質的に2:1~6:1の範囲内である、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 前記電気抵抗性材料が金属性である、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 前記電気抵抗性材料が、軟鋼、フェライト系ステンレス鋼、アルミニウム、ニッケル、ニクロム又はこれらの材料の合金のうちの1つである、請求項7に記載のヒータ。
- 前記平面要素がその中に複数の小孔を有する、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 前記複数の小孔が、気化されたエアロゾル化可能な基材材料を前記ヒータからエアロゾルチャンバに逃げることを可能にし、前記エアロゾルチャンバを通る気流によって収集されるようにする、請求項9に記載のヒータ。
- 前記複数の小孔が、前記平面要素の領域の全体又は大部分にわたって分布されている、請求項10に記載のヒータ。
- 前記複数の小孔が、前記平面要素の前記幅に実質的に平行な1つ又は複数の小孔ラインを構成し、前記1つ又は複数の小孔ラインを横切る前記平面要素の前記材料内での熱の伝達を低減する、請求項9~11のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 振動磁場内に配置されて誘導によって加熱されるように構成されたサセプタである、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 電流の流れをジュール加熱によって加熱するための抵抗性加熱要素として構成される、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 前記軸線の各側での平面要素の部分は向かい合う関係にされる、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のヒータを備える、アトマイザであって、
前記湾曲された平面要素が、エアロゾル化可能な基材材料を前記ヒータにウィッキングするための多孔質材料を収容するための容積部を画定し、前記アトマイザは、前記容積部に収容された多孔質材料の一部を備える、電子蒸気供給システム用のアトマイザ。 - 前記多孔質材料が、綿又はオーガニックコットンを備える、請求項16に記載の電子蒸気供給システム用のアトマイザ。
- 前記多孔質材料が、多孔質セラミックのロッドを備える、請求項17に記載の電子蒸気供給システム用のアトマイザ。
- ソケットを画定する支持部分を有する支持部材をさらに備え、前記ソケットに、前記平面要素の一方又は両方の副縁部が挿入され、前記ヒータが片持ち式の配置だけで一端に支持される、請求項16~18のいずれか一項に記載の電子蒸気供給システム用のアトマイザ。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ、又は請求項16~19のいずれか一項に記載のアトマイザと、前記ヒータによって気化するためにエアロゾル化可能な基材材料を含むリザーバとを備える、電子蒸気供給システム用のカートリッジ。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のヒータ、又は請求項16~19のいずれか一項に記載のアトマイザ、又は請求項20に記載のカートリッジを備える、電子蒸気供給システム。
