第1の竿体部と該第1の竿体部よりも径が大きい第2の竿体部とを備える竿体と、該竿体の第1の竿体部の外周に固定される外側部材と、該竿体の軸方向でみて該外側部材の端部に設けられるリング部材と、を備える釣竿であって、
該第1の竿体部は、該外側部材から前記竿体の軸方向に突出する突出部を該第1の竿体部の端部に有し、該リング部材は、該第2の竿体部の端部と、該第1の竿体部の該突出部とを覆うように設けられ、該リング部材は、その内面該竿体の軸方向に対して傾斜する方向に延伸する傾斜面が形成され、該内面は、該第2の竿体部から該第1の竿体部の方向に向かうにつれ縮径となることを特徴とする釣竿。
