Description

This invention relates to a suspending device used to temporarily suspend electric wires such as feeder wires and overhead catenary wires when installing or replacing them, and to a method of replacing electric wires using the same.

Some feeder wires that are laid along railway tracks to supply power to electric cars running on them are made of aluminum to reduce weight.
Generally, feeders are connected to contact wires via feeder branch lines every 250 meters, but aluminum feeders have weak spots due to a phenomenon called galvanic corrosion in the feeder branch lines where they are connected to copper contact wires, making them inferior to copper feeders in terms of durability. Therefore, construction work is sometimes carried out to replace aluminum feeders with copper feeders. Note that this work is carried out during non-business hours at night when trains are not running so as not to interfere with commercial train operations.

As shown in Figure 8, the power line 24 is generally attached to the lower end of a trolley wire suspension device 10 having an insulator 11 suspended from an arm 21 attached to the top of a utility pole 20 by a U-shaped bracket 15, and is electrically connected to a trolley wire that is connected to and supported by the tip of a movable bracket (not shown) attached to the utility pole by a power line branch line provided at a specified interval.

In the conventional method of replacing a feeder line, as shown in Figure 9, a suspension pulley 23 is suspended from an arm 21 of a utility pole alongside the existing electric line suspension device 10 that supports the feeder line, and a rope is first stretched from this suspension pulley 23. The end of the new feeder line is then connected to the end of this rope and the rope is wound up, so that the new feeder line is stretched in advance. Then, on the day of the switching work, the old feeder line and the feeder branch line are disconnected and the old feeder line is cut and removed, after which the new feeder line on the suspension pulley is transferred to the suspension device, and the feeder branch line is connected and various adjustments are made.

In the conventional feeder re-stretching method described above, the two feeders, the old and new, are temporarily supported by support structures such as utility poles, but some of the existing support structures may not have sufficient support strength, and in such cases, the support structures must be rebuilt to have the necessary strength. This results in problems such as increased costs for re-stretching the feeder and a long construction period.
Conventionally, as an invention relating to a wire extension method, a method using a hanging chain having a ring-shaped chain has been proposed (for example, Patent Document 1).

However, the invention of the method described in Patent Document 1 was aimed at extending a power line, and is a method for extending a power line between two steel towers over a long distance, and it is difficult to apply it to the replacement of a feeder line. Specifically, as mentioned above, the work of replacing a feeder line must be carried out during non-business hours at night when trains are not running, and the support structures for the feeder line are erected every few tens of meters, so the feeder line needs to be extended several hundred meters in a day across multiple support structures, but if the method described in Patent Document 1 is applied, such work cannot be completed in a short time.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for re-laying a feeder wire, which does not require rebuilding the support structure of the feeder wire, improves work efficiency, and enables the transfer of the old and new feeder wires to be completed in a short period of time.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an electric wire suspending tool that does not impede the work of pulling out the electric wire when replacing the electric wire.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of an electric train line suspending device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
A first embodiment of the contact line suspension tool is shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. Fig. 1 shows the contact line suspension tool holding the feeder wire, and Fig. 2 shows the contact line suspension tool with the feeder wire removed. In Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, (A) is a front view of the contact line suspension tool of the first embodiment, (B) is a side view, and (C) is a perspective view. Note that Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 omit the illustration of the upper insulator of the double insulator string of the suspension tool shown in Fig. 8 and the fastener 22 that fastens the upper end of the suspension tool to the arm 21.

As shown in FIG. 1, the electric line suspension device 10 of the first embodiment includes a ceramic insulator 11 whose upper end is suspended from an arm or the like attached to the top of a utility pole, which is an electric line support structure; an inverted U-shaped connecting metal fitting 12 whose upper end is pin-connected to the lower end of the insulator 11; an L-shaped plate 14 connected to the connecting metal fitting 12 by a horizontal pin bolt 13A so as to be freely rotatable in a vertical plane; a U-shaped metal fitting 15 connected to one end of the L-shaped plate 14 by a pin bolt 13B; a base plate 16 connected to the other end of the L-shaped plate 14 so as to be freely rotatable by a pin bolt 13C; and an annular metal wheel 17 connected to the underside of the base plate 16. The insulator 11 corresponds to the lower insulator of the existing suspension device shown in FIG. 8.

Furthermore, the U-shaped metal fitting 15 is the same as the U-shaped metal fitting provided at the lower part of the existing electric rail suspension device 10 shown in FIG. 8 , and when replacing the old and new electric cables, the U-shaped metal fitting of the existing electric rail suspension device 10 may be continued to be used as is, or if it has become corroded, it may be replaced with a new U-shaped metal fitting.
The base plate 16 has a pair of parallel locking pieces 16a, 16a that protrude vertically upward from its upper surface, and the end of the L-shaped plate 14 is inserted between the locking pieces 16a, 16a, and is rotatably connected to the L-shaped plate 14 by a horizontal pin bolt 13C that is inserted through the locking pieces 16a, 16a and the L-shaped plate 14.

In addition, the base plate 16 has a pair of boss portions 16b, 16b that protrude downward from both ends of its underside, and the annular metal wheel 17 is connected to the underside of the base plate 16 by a pair of bolts B1, B2 that are inserted into these boss portions 16b, 16b.
The ring-shaped caster 17 is configured such that six short rod-shaped pieces 17a to 17f are jointed together to form a hexagonal shape overall, and a smooth circular opening is formed on the inside. Furthermore, 17a and 17f of the six rod-shaped pieces 17a to 17f of the ring-shaped caster 17 are connected by a removable pin P, and when this pin P is removed, the connected rod-shaped piece 17f is rotated outward as shown by the arrow, thereby opening a part of the ring and opening a part of the circular opening.

When replacing the feeder wire, the U-shaped metal fitting 15 is removed from the lower end of the electric rail suspension device 10 shown in Fig. 8, and the L-shaped plate 14 is connected to the inverted U-shaped connecting metal fitting 12 with the pin bolt 13A as shown in Fig. 1. Then, the U-shaped metal fitting 15 is reconnected to the other end of the L-shaped plate 14 with the pin bolt 13B while still holding the feeder wire 24.
At this time, the pin P is pulled out of the annular metal wheel 17 to leave a portion of the ring open, the feeder cable 24 is inserted inside, and then the annular metal wheel 17 is closed to prevent the pin P from being inserted and the ring being opened. When the feeder cable is transferred to the annular member in this manner, the L-shaped plate 14 rotates due to its weight, so that even if the U-shaped metal fitting 15 is left attached to the L-shaped plate 14, it can be moved to a position that does not interfere with the feeder cable 24, as shown by the dashed line in Fig. 2(B), thereby avoiding any hindrance to the extraction work.

The work of relocating the feeder wire involves removing the U-shaped metal fitting 15 from the L-shaped plate 14 at the bottom of the electric line suspension device 10, moving the feeder wire 24 held by the U-shaped metal fitting 15 onto the rod-shaped piece 17d at the bottom of the ring-shaped metal wheel 17 as shown in Figure 2, and then replacing the feeder wire with a new one. Then, the weight of the new wire is supported by a clamp or the like, the pin bolt 13A is removed to remove the L-shaped plate 14 and the ring-shaped metal wheel 17, and the new wire is held by the U-shaped metal fitting 15 and connected to the inverted U-shaped connecting metal fitting 12 by the pin bolt 13B. At this time, the pin P of the ring-shaped metal wheel 17 is pulled out to open a part of the ring, and the feeder wire 24 is removed from the inside. This returns the electric line suspension device 10 to its original state (Figure 8) in which the feeder wire 24 is suspended.

Figures 3 and 4 show a second embodiment of the electric line suspension device 10. Figure 3 shows the electric line suspension device in a state where it holds the feeder wire, and Figure 4 shows the electric line suspension device in a state where the feeder wire has been removed. In Figures 3 and 4, (A) is a front view of the electric line suspension device of the second embodiment, (B) is a side view, and (C) is a perspective view.

As shown in FIG. 3, the electric train line suspension device 10 of the second embodiment is configured as a suspension pulley, and includes a ceramic insulator 11, an inverted U-shaped connecting metal fitting 12 whose upper end is pin-connected to the lower end of the insulator 11, a pair of left and right "U"-shaped hanging plates 14A, 14B whose upper ends are rotatably connected to the connecting metal fitting 12 by pin bolts 13A, a short I-shaped central hanging plate 14C, a U-shaped metal fitting 15 connected by pin bolts 13B at a position slightly below the upper ends of the hanging plates 14A, 14B, and a pulley roller 19 rotatably supported by pins 18A at the lower ends of the hanging plates 14A, 14B.

The hanging plates 14A, 14B are arranged so that their upper ends are close to each other, and the pin bolt 13B used is longer than the pin bolt 13A.
Pulley roller 19 is formed so that the center portion is narrowed, and as shown in Fig. 4, when feeder cable 24 is placed on pulley roller 19, feeder cable 24 moves to the center of roller 19 by its own weight. Central hanging plate 14C is formed with an insertion hole at the top through which pin bolt 13A is inserted and an insertion hole at the bottom through which pin bolt 13B is inserted. Hanging plates 14A and 14B also have insertion holes formed through which pin bolt 13B is inserted.

Furthermore, although not particularly limited, a protrusion 14d that protrudes forward (or backward) is formed on the upper end of one of the hanging plates 14A, 14B (14A in the figure), and as shown in FIG. 4, central hanging plate 14C, which is now freed by removing U-shaped metal fitting 15, can be horizontalized and a pin 18B can be inserted through an insertion hole formed in central hanging plate 14C and protrusion 14d to maintain the horizontal position. This allows central hanging plate 14C to be moved to a position where it does not interfere with feeder wire 24, thereby avoiding any hindrance to the pulling out operation.

According to the suspension tool of the second embodiment having the above-mentioned configuration, when pulling out the feeder cable 24, central hanging plate 14C does not obstruct the passage of the bundled portion of the feeder branch wires, and the wide spacing between hanging plates 14A, 14B makes it easy to pull out the feeder cable 24. In addition, when placing the feeder cable 24 on the pulley rollers 19, it is no longer necessary to remove the pin bolt 13A and detach the central hanging plate 14C, which has the advantage of improving work efficiency.
In the second embodiment, an I-shaped central hanging plate 14C is used to support the U-shaped metal fitting 15 during temporary installation, but an L-shaped plate may also be used as in the first embodiment.

Next, the procedure for the method for replacing a power line according to the present invention using the electric wire suspension device 10 of the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 5 and 6. Figure 5 is a flowchart showing the procedure for replacing a power line, and Figure 6 is an explanatory diagram showing the operation of pulling out the power line.

In the work of replacing the electric power line according to the flowchart in Figure 5, first, the U-shaped metal fittings 15 and the electric power line 24 are removed from the existing electric power line suspension device 10 of the electric power pole in the replacement range, and the central corner of the L-shaped plate 14, which has a ring-shaped metal wheel 17 already connected to its end, is attached to the inverted U-shaped connecting metal fitting 12 at the bottom of the electric power line suspension device 10 with a pin bolt 13A, and the U-shaped metal fitting 15 is attached to the other end of the L-shaped plate 14 with a pin bolt 13B while holding the electric power line 24, resulting in the state shown in Figure 1 (A) (step S1). Note that the work of step S1 should be performed for the suspension devices of all electric power poles in the replacement range by the day before the work of replacing the electric power line.

Next, on the day of the work to replace the feeder cable, the worker cuts the old feeder cable 24 in the replacement range to an appropriate length (e.g., 300 m) and disconnects the feeder branch line connected to the feeder cable in the cut range (step S2). Next, the worker removes the U-shaped metal fittings 15 from the L-shaped plates 14 at the bottom of all the electric rail suspension devices 10, and transfers the feeder cable 24 to the ring metal caster 17 in an unsupported state, resulting in the state shown in FIG. 2(B) (step S3).
6, one end of the old feeder 24 cut in step S2 is connected to an end of a new feeder that is wound around a drum 31A mounted on a road-rail car 30A by a cable grip 25, and the other end of the old feeder is fastened to the outer periphery of an empty drum 31B mounted on a road-rail car 30B (step S4). Note that the operations of steps S3 and S4 may be performed in the reverse order.

Thereafter, while a new electric wire is fed out from drum 31A of road-rail vehicle 30A, the old electric wire is wound onto empty drum 31B, and the old electric wire is pulled out and removed from the annular metal wheel 17 at the bottom of the electric line suspension device 10 while a new electric wire is tensioned (step S5), and the old and new electric wires are disconnected (step S6).
Next, the worker performs various adjustments such as removing slack or twisting of the new electric wire, and connects the feeder branch line between the new electric wire and the contact wire (Step S7). Then, the L-shaped plates 14 are removed from the lower parts of all the electric wire suspenders 10, the U-shaped metal fittings 15 are removed from the L-shaped plates 14, the weight of the new electric wire on the ring-shaped metal fittings 17 is temporarily supported by a sealer or the like, the ring-shaped metal fittings 17 are removed, the U-shaped metal fittings 15 holding the new electric wire are attached to the inverted U-shaped connecting metal fittings 12 at the lower part of the electric wire suspenders 10, and the end of the feeder wire is connected to the end of the adjacent feeder wire, completing the series of restringing operations (Step S8).

According to the above embodiment of the feeder re-stretching method, by repeating the above procedure, it is possible to complete the re-stretching of feeder wires over an area of several kilometers in one day (during non-business hours at night). In addition, unlike the conventional feeder re-stretching method, there is no need to temporarily support two feeder wires, one old and one new, on a single utility pole, which has the advantage that there is no need to rebuild the support structure for the feeder wire, which may be weak.

Furthermore, according to the procedure of the above embodiment, the state at the time when the work of step S1 is completed does not impede the running of trains in any way, so that trains can be operated during the day while the replacement of all electric wire suspension devices 10 in the area to be rewired can be carried out in sequence over several days during non-business hours at night. This has the advantage that the work of replacing the old feeder wire (aluminum feeder wire) with the new feeder wire (copper feeder wire) can be carried out without interrupting the operation of commercial trains.

(Modification)
FIG. 7 shows a modified example of the overhead contact wire suspending device.
In this modified example of the train line suspension device 10, the length of base plate 16 in the train line suspension device of the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is increased, and a semi-annular iron wheel 17' made up of three rod-shaped pieces 17c to 17e is used instead of the annular iron wheel 17 made up of six rod-shaped pieces 17a to 17f.

In the modified example of FIG. 7, the connection between the base plate 16 and the rod-shaped piece 17e can be released by pulling out the pin P, and part of the ring can be opened.
With this type of contact line suspension device, compared to the contact line suspension device of the first embodiment, it is possible to increase the inner opening width and opening area without increasing the vertical length of the annular metal wheel, and this has the advantage that the work of pulling out the feeder wire can be easily performed while ensuring a distance from existing installed objects when temporarily installed. Note that the procedure for replacing the feeder wire may be the same as that of the above embodiment described using Figure 5.

Although the invention made by the present inventor has been specifically described above based on an embodiment, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. For example, in the explanation of the procedure for replacing the feeder line using FIG. 5, the feeder line is replaced using the electric wire suspension tool of the first embodiment, but it is also possible to replace the electric wire using the same procedure as above using the electric wire suspension tool of the second embodiment. In addition, the electric wire suspension tool of the present invention can also be used when replacing electric wires other than feeders or when installing new electric wires.
