In order to facilitate understanding of the invention, the position, size, shape, range, etc. of each component shown in the following drawings may not represent the actual position, size, shape, range, etc. Therefore, the present invention is not necessarily limited to the position, size, shape, range, etc. disclosed in the drawings, etc.

<Embodiment>
Fig. 1 is a diagram showing a sample collecting device according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 2 is an exploded view of the sample collecting device according to the embodiment of the present invention.
The sample collecting device 1 of the embodiment has a rod portion 22 , a head portion 2 , an outer tube 3 , an inner tube 4 , and a shoe portion 5 .

The rod portion 22 connects the outer tube 3 to an impact device (not shown). The length of the rod portion 22 in the longitudinal direction is, for example, about 50 cm, and multiple water and air drain holes 221 are formed.

The head portion 2 has one or more water/air drain holes 211. A screw 212 is disposed inside the head portion 2. The water/air drain holes 211 are closed by tightening the screw 212. The screw 212 can be tightened by rotating the rod portion 22 clockwise (a vacuum is created when the screw 212 is fully tightened).
The outer tube 3 is provided continuously with the head portion 2. The outer tube 3 may be made of, for example, an iron material.

The inner pipe 4 is housed within the outer pipe 3. Examples of materials that can be used to make the inner pipe 4 include custom-made polyvinyl chloride pipes and stainless steel liners, and the inner and outer diameters are the same as the inner pipe 4. The end of the inner pipe 4 extends beyond the outer pipe 3 by approximately 1 m.

The shoe section 5 is disposed on the opposite side of the head section 2 of the outer pipe 4. The diameter of the shoe section 5 is approximately 89.6 mm, which is the same as the diameter of the outer pipe 4. The inside diameter of the shoe section 5 is basically 75 mm, the same as the inside diameter of the inner pipe 3, but the inside diameter can be φ74 mm, φ73 mm, etc. depending on the stratum.
The shoe portion 5 supports the inner pipe 3 within the outer pipe 4. The shoe portion 5 and the outer pipe 4 are connected by a screw type.

Next, a description will be given of an example of a method of using the sample collecting device 1. Note that for parts not described below, the method described in JIS A 1219 can be referred to.
(1) Using a boring survey machine, excavate the ground to the planned sampling depth for samples (fill soil, gravel-mixed soil, etc.).

(2) The sample collection device 1 is lowered to the depth at which sampling is planned. If a hydraulic boring machine is used, the sample collection device 1 is pressed in using hydraulic pressure. If the stratum is difficult to press in, it is inserted using impact. At this time, the screw 212 at the base end is loosened. This allows the sample to enter the inner tube 3.

(3) When the collection of the sample at the planned depth is completed, use a pipe wrench or the like (not shown) to rotate the rod portion 22 clockwise to tighten the screw. This closes the opening 211 and creates a vacuum inside the inner tube 4. Slowly pull up the sample collection device 1.

As described above, the embodiment of the sample collection device 1 has a head portion 2 having an opening 211 and a screw 212 disposed thereon that closes the opening 211 when tightened, an outer tube 4 disposed contiguous with the head portion 2, an inner tube 3 housed within the outer tube 4 and storing samples therein, and a shoe portion 5 disposed on the opposite side of the outer tube 4 from the head portion 2 and supporting the inner tube 3 within the outer tube 4. This increases the strength of the outer tube 4, suppresses deformation of the outer tube 4, and allows samples to be collected even from strata that were previously difficult to collect.

Although the sample collection device of the present invention has been described above based on the illustrated embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the configuration of each part can be replaced with any configuration having a similar function. In addition, any other configuration or process may be added to the present invention.
Furthermore, the present invention may be a combination of any two or more configurations (features) of the above-described embodiments.
