Description
本出願は、2020年8月12日に出願された米国仮出願第63/064,777号に優先権を主張し、これは、参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。

Claims (13)
- 低温安定潤滑組成物であって、
潤滑粘度の基油と、
非極性部分および15重量%~30重量%の極性官能基を有する、0.01重量%~3重量%の高分子界面活性剤と、
水および/または燃料汚染物と、を含む、低温安定潤滑組成物:
ここで、前記高分子界面活性剤は、40,000~450,000の重量平均分子量を有し、
前記潤滑組成物の流動点は、-30℃までの温度で測定したときに、45%以下であり、
ただし、前記流動点は、前記潤滑組成物についてレオメータを使用して、角周波数10rad/秒およびスピンドルギャップ0.5mmの条件下、平行板スピンドルで0.01~100%のせん断ひずみのひずみ掃引を実行することによって測定したときに貯蔵弾性率G’が損失弾性率G”に等しくなるせん断ひずみとする。 - 前記高分子界面活性剤が、エチレン性不飽和を有し、重合中の極性基のグラフト化または重合への極性共反応物の組み込みのいずれかによって官能化される反応物から得られるコポリマーであり、かつ/または前記高分子界面活性剤が、アルキル(メタ)アクリレート反応物(複数可)および重合可能なエチレン性不飽和置換基を有する複素環式反応物(複数可)を含む反応物から得られるコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 重合可能なエチレン性不飽和置換基を有する前記複素環式反応物(複数可)が、ビニルラクトン、ビニルラクタム、それらの組み合わせ、およびそれらの誘導体を含み、かつ/または重合可能なエチレン性不飽和置換基を有する前記複素環式反応物(複数可)が、ビニルピロリドン、ビニルピリジン、それらの組み合わせ、およびそれらの誘導体を含む、請求項2に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記アルキル(メタ)アクリレート反応物が、C1~C20の直鎖または分岐アルキル(メタ)アクリレート反応物から選択される反応物を含む、請求項2または3に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記極性官能基が、非極性高分子骨格に懸垂している、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記高分子界面活性剤の前記極性官能基が、1つ以上の酸素、窒素、硫黄、またはリン原子を含む、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記潤滑組成物が、水および燃料で乳化されて、-30℃までの温度で流体エマルジョンを生成する、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記潤滑組成物が、エンジン油である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記潤滑組成物が、乗用車用モータ油である、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 前記燃料汚染物が、ガソリン、アルコールベースの燃料、およびアルコールブレンド燃料からなる群から選択され、かつ/または前記燃料汚染物が、エタノールブレンドガソリンであり、かつ/または前記エタノールブレンドガソリンが、E10、E50、E85、およびE100からなる群から選択される、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の低温安定潤滑組成物。
- 低温でエンジンを潤滑する方法であって、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の潤滑組成物を提供することと、-30℃までの温度で前記潤滑組成物で前記エンジンを潤滑することと、を含む、方法。
- 潤滑組成物、水、および/または燃料の流体粘度を維持するための方法であって、
非極性部分および15重量%~30重量%の極性官能基を有する高分子界面活性剤を含む0.01重量%~3重量%の添加剤を、潤滑組成物に添加することを含む方法:
ここで、前記高分子界面活性剤は、40,000~450,000の重量平均分子量を有し、
前記潤滑組成物の流動点は、前記潤滑組成物が水および/または燃料汚染物と混合されかつ-30℃までの温度で測定したときに、45%以下であり、
ただし、前記流動点は、前記潤滑組成物についてレオメータを使用して、角周波数10rad/秒およびスピンドルギャップ0.5mmの条件下、平行板スピンドルで0.01~100%のせん断ひずみのひずみ掃引を実行することによって測定したときに貯蔵弾性率G’が損失弾性率G”に等しくなるせん断ひずみとする。 - 前記高分子界面活性剤が、請求項2~10のいずれかに記載されている、請求項12に記載の方法。
