Description

The present invention relates to a method for applying processing oil, more specifically, to a method for applying processing oil to blank material supplied to a transfer press processing device.

Conventionally, in order to prevent defects such as cracking and galling in products during transfer press processing, processing oil is applied to the blank material, and then the blank material is supplied to a transfer press processing device and transfer press processing is performed (see Patent Document 1).

Jpn. Jpn. Published Papers No. 58-40985

Normally, in a transfer press processing device, the processing speed (SPM) changes, and as a result, the supply speed of the blank material supplied to the transfer press processing device also changes.

In addition, a shortage of processing oil affects the workability of the transfer press processing, and since it is difficult to respond to changes in the supply speed of the blank material, processing oil is continuously applied to the blank material while the transfer press processing device is in operation, taking into account the maximum processing speed (SPM), which poses the problem of requiring a large amount of processing oil. There is also the problem of the processing oil being applied to undesired areas other than the blank material.

Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a method for applying processing oil that solves the above problems.

A method for applying processing oil to a blank material to be supplied to a transfer press processing device, comprising:
Calculating the timing and time for the blank material, which is intermittently transported at a predetermined feed pitch, to pass a specific position where spraying is possible, based on position information of a rotational position of a cam used to raise and lower a press die of the transfer press processing device;
Based on this timing and the passage time, a constant high voltage is applied to the spray nozzle of the application section by the high voltage generator, and the solenoid valve is opened.
The method is characterized in that negatively charged fine-grain processing oil is intermittently sprayed onto the surface of the blank material while it is being transported to be supplied to the transfer press processing device.

The present invention uses a method for intermittently spraying negatively charged fine processing oil onto the surface of blank material being transported to be supplied to a transfer press processing device based on information on the operating status of the transfer press processing device, thereby significantly reducing the amount of processing oil used compared to the above-mentioned conventional technology.

1 is a schematic diagram of a conveying device using the processing oil application method of the present invention.

The embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on the examples shown in the figures.

[Example 1]
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a conveying device 1 using the processing oil application method of the present invention. The conveying device 1 supplies a blank 3 to a transfer press processing device 2.

The blanks 3 are stacked vertically and placed on the supply table 4. The topmost blank 3 on the supply table 4 is removed by the removal section 5 and then transported to the right in FIG. 1. The position of the blank 3 in the transport device 1 and the timing of supplying the blank 3 to the transfer press processing device 2 are determined based on information about the operating state of the transfer press processing device 2, such as information about the position of the forming die and the position information of the rotational position of the cam used to raise and lower the press die. In this embodiment, the position of the blank 3 in the transport device 1 and the timing of supplying the blank 3 to the transfer press processing device 2 are controlled based on information about the rotational position of the cam used to raise and lower the press die.

While the blank material 3 is being transported from the removal section 5 to the right in FIG. 1, the lower surface (the surface of the blank material 3) is negatively charged and finely divided fine processing oil is sprayed onto it by the lower oiling section 10, which is an electrostatic oiling device, so that the entire lower surface of the blank material 3 is coated with processing oil. Next, the upper surface (the surface of the blank material 3) is negatively charged and finely divided fine processing oil is sprayed onto it by the upper oiling section 11, which is an electrostatic oiling device, so that the entire upper surface of the blank material 3 is coated with processing oil.

In this embodiment, the processing oil is applied to the underside of the blank 3, and then to the upper side, but the processing oil may be applied to the upper side first and then to the lower side, or the upper and lower sides may be simultaneously applied.

Based on information on the operating state of the transfer press processing device 2, such as information on the position of the forming die and the rotational position of the cam used to raise and lower the press die, a constant high voltage is applied to the spray nozzle by the high voltage generator, and the solenoid valve is opened to spray negatively charged fine-grain processing oil onto the blank material 3 from the spray nozzle.

More specifically, based on information on the operating state of the transfer press processing device 2, the blank material 3, which is transported intermittently at a predetermined feed pitch in accordance with the up and down movement of the processing die of the transfer press processing device 2, is fed into the transfer press processing device 2 at the optimal timing, and based on information on the operating state of the transfer press processing device 2, the timing and passing time of the blank material 3 passing a specific position that can be sprayed by the oil application units 10, 11 in the conveying device 1 are calculated, and fine processing oil is sprayed onto the blank material 3 from the oil application units 10, 11.

In this way, the oil application units 10 and 11 are operated based on information on the operating state of the transfer press processing device 2, and fine processing oil is sprayed onto the blank 3. In this embodiment, the timing of opening the solenoid valves of the lower oil application unit 10 and the upper oil application unit 11 to spray fine processing oil is determined based on position information of the rotational position of the cam used to raise and lower the press die.

In this embodiment, an electrostatic oil applicator equipped with a solenoid valve, a high-voltage generator, and a spray nozzle was used as the lower oil applicator 10 and the upper oil applicator 11, but any spray device can be used as the lower oil applicator 10 and the upper oil applicator 11 as long as it can spray negatively charged fine processing oil intermittently at specific times.

According to the present invention, as described above, the lower oil application section 10 and the upper oil application section 11, which are made up of electrostatic oil application devices, spray negatively charged and finely divided fine processing oil onto the blank material 3 to apply the processing oil. This ensures that the processing oil is applied to the entire surface of the blank material 3, and also significantly reduces the amount of processing oil applied to areas other than the blank material 3.

In addition, based on information on the operating status of the transfer press processing device 2, solenoid valves (not shown) at the lower oil application section 10 and the upper oil application section 11 are opened to spray processing oil onto the blank material 3, making it possible to significantly reduce the amount of processing oil used compared to the above-mentioned conventional technology.

In addition, negatively charged processing oil is sprayed onto the surface of the blank material 3 by the lower oil application unit 10 and the upper oil application unit 11, which prevents the processing oil from scattering into the surrounding area and reduces its impact on the environment.
