Description
Claims (6)
- 第1の方向に並んで配置され、角形形状を各々有する複数の電池セルと、
前記複数の電池セルに対して前記第1の方向に並ぶように設けられるエンドプレートと、
前記複数の電池セルおよび前記エンドプレートに対して前記第1の方向に直交する第2の方向に並ぶように設けられ、前記第1の方向に沿って前記複数の電池セルおよび前記エンドプレートを拘束する拘束部材とを備え、
前記エンドプレートは板状部材を含み、
前記板状部材は、前記第1の方向に直交する方向に延在する平面部分と、前記第1の方向および前記第2の方向に直交する第3の方向における前記板状部材の端部に設けられ、前記平面部分から前記第1の方向に突出するフランジ部分と、前記平面部分から前記フランジ部分に達するまで、前記板状部材に角部のない曲面が続くように連続的に遷移する遷移部分とを含み、
前記第2の方向における前記エンドプレートの両端部においては、前記フランジ部分が設けられず、前記平面部分が前記板状部材の前記第3の方向における端部にまで延び、
前記平面部分、前記遷移部分、および前記フランジ部分は前記第2の方向に並ぶように設けられる、電池モジュール。 - 前記エンドプレートは、前記遷移部分に隣接する前記平面部分に設けられ、前記拘束部材と締結される締結部を含む、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記締結部は、前記第2の方向における前記エンドプレートの両端部に位置するように設けられる、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の電池セルを収容して少なくとも前記第1の方向に支持し、前記複数の電池セルを含むユニットを形成するケースをさらに備えた、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記板状部材は、前記第2の方向に各々延在し、前記第3の方向に並ぶ凸部および凹部を有し、前記凸部が前記第1の方向から前記ケースに当接する、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記ユニットは、2個以上の電池セルを各々含み、前記2個以上の電池セルの各々の出力密度は8000W/L以上である、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
