Claims (46)
- 円筒型のバッテリーにおいて、
第1電極及び第2電極とこれらの間に介在された分離膜が巻取軸を中心にして巻き取られることでコアと外周面を定義した電極組立体であって、前記第1電極は、巻取方向に沿って活物質層がコーティングされている第1活物質部と、活物質層がコーティングされていない第1非コーティング部と、を含み、前記第1非コーティング部の少なくとも一部が電極タブとして用いられる電極組立体と、
前記バッテリーの高さ方向における前記電極組立体の上部で前記第1非コーティング部の少なくとも一部に結合する第1集電体と、
前記電極組立体及び前記第1集電体を収容する円筒型のバッテリーハウジングであって、前記バッテリーの高さ方向において閉鎖された上端部を備えるバッテリーハウジングと、
前記第1非コーティング部と前記バッテリーハウジングとの電気的接続を遮断するように、前記第1非コーティング部と前記第1集電体の少なくともいずれか一つと対向する前記バッテリーハウジングの内面と前記第1非コーティング部との間と、前記第1非コーティング部と前記第1集電体の少なくともいずれか一つと対向する前記バッテリーハウジングの内面と前記第1集電体との間と、の少なくともいずれか一箇所に介在されるインシュレータと、
を含み、
前記インシュレータは、
前記バッテリーハウジングの内面と対向する第1非コーティング部の端部及び前記第1集電体の表面のいずれか一つをカバーする第1カバー部を、

前記インシュレータは、
前記第1カバー部の中心に所定の直径を有する中心孔を備え、
前記バッテリーは、
前記第1集電体に接続された端子であって、前記第1集電体を介して前記第1非コーティング部と電気的に接続し、少なくとも一部が前記高さ方向における前記バッテリーハウジングの前記上端部に形成された貫通孔によって外部に露出するように前記貫通孔及び前記中心孔を貫通して配置された端子と、
前記バッテリーハウジングと前記端子との間に介在され、前記バッテリーハウジングと前記端子の電気的接続を遮断する絶縁ガスケットと、
をさらに含み、
前記第1集電体の中心は、
前記電極組立体の巻取中心と同一線上に位置する、バッテリー。 - 前記インシュレータは、
前記高さ方向における前記電極組立体の外周面の上端をカバーする第2カバー部をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第2カバー部は、
前記高さ方向において前記第1カバー部の外周縁から垂直下方へ延びた形態を有する、請求項2に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1集電体は、
前記高さ方向における前記電極組立体の上部で前記第1非コーティング部に結合し、前記第1非コーティング部と前記インシュレータとの間に介在される、請求項2または3に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1カバー部は、
前記高さ方向における前記バッテリーハウジングの上端部の内面と対向する前記第1集電体の表面をカバーする、請求項4に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1カバー部は、
前記第1集電体と前記高さ方向における前記バッテリーハウジングの上端部の内面との距離に対応する厚さを有する、請求項4または5に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1非コーティング部の少なくとも一部区間は、
前記電極組立体の巻取方向に沿って複数の分節片に分割されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記複数の分節片は、
前記電極組立体の半径方向に沿って曲げられる、請求項7に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記複数の分節片は、
前記電極組立体の半径方向に沿って多重に重ねられる、請求項7に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記インシュレータは、
前記バッテリーハウジングの内面と対向する第1非コーティング部の複数の分節片が曲げられて形成された曲げ面と、前記バッテリーハウジングの内面との間と、前記第1集電体と前記バッテリーハウジングの内面との間と、の少なくとも一箇所に介在される第1カバー部と、
前記高さ方向における前記電極組立体の外周面の上端をカバーする第2カバー部と、を含む、請求項8または9に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1集電体は、
前記高さ方向における前記電極組立体の上部で、前記曲げ面の上に結合し、前記曲げ面と前記インシュレータとの間に介在される、請求項10に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1カバー部は、
前記高さ方向における前記バッテリーハウジングの上端部の内面と対向する前記第1集電体の表面をカバーする、請求項11に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1カバー部は、
前記第1集電体と前記高さ方向における前記バッテリーハウジングの上端部の内面との距離に対応する厚さを有する、請求項12に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第2カバー部は、
前記第1非コーティング部が前記バッテリーハウジングの内周面に向かって露出しないように前記第1非コーティング部の最外郭に露出した側面部全体をカバーする、請求項2から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第2カバー部の延長長さは、
前記第1非コーティング部の延長長さよりも大きいか、または同一である、請求項2から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第2カバー部の延長長さは、
前記高さ方向における前記複数の分節片の間の切断ラインの下端位置から前記複数の分節片の曲げ位置までの長さよりも大きいか、または同一である、請求項10から13のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記高さ方向における前記第2カバー部の下端部は、
前記高さ方向において前記第1非コーティング部の下端部よりも下側に位置する、請求項3から6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリー。 - 前記第1集電体の直径は、
