Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 to 13 show one embodiment of the building material for openings of the present invention. This building material for openings is applied to a sliding window for a house, and as shown in Figures 1 to 4, it comprises a frame 9 attached to an opening 8 in a building frame, and an outer screen 10a and an inner screen 10b housed in the frame 9 in a sliding manner so as to be able to be opened and closed freely.
The frame 9 is made up of an upper frame (horizontal frame) 2, a lower frame (horizontal frame) 3, and left and right vertical frames 1a, 1b, which are arranged in a rectangular shape. The outer and inner shoji screens 10a, 10b are made up of an upper frame 11, a lower frame 12, a door end frame 13, and a joint frame 14, and glass (double glazing) 15 is fitted inside the frame.

As shown in FIG. 1, the upper frame 2 is an insulating shaped member consisting of an exterior shape 16 and an interior shape 17 made of an aluminum alloy extrusion, and a resin bridge material 18 connecting the exterior shape 16 and the interior shape 17. The exterior shape 16 and the interior shape 17 each have a tapping hole 19. The upper frame 2 has a screen rail 20 at the exterior end to guide the upper part of the screen (not shown), an outer rail 21 on the interior side of the screen rail 20 to guide the upper part of the outer screen 10a, and an inner rail 22 on the interior side of the outer rail 21 to guide the upper part of the inner screen 10b. Resin cover materials 23, 24 are attached between the outer rail 21 and the inner rail 22 and on the interior side of the inner rail 22. The interior side cover material 24 has an angle part 25 integrally formed therewith for fixing to a fixture such as a picture frame. Furthermore, the upper frame 2 has a frame mounting piece 26 protruding outward from the middle in the indoor/outdoor direction.

As shown in FIG. 1, the lower frame 3 is an insulating shaped material consisting of an exterior shape 16 and an interior shape 17 made of an aluminum alloy extrusion, and a resin bridge material 18 connecting the exterior shape 16 and the interior shape 17, just like the upper frame 2. The exterior shape 16 and the interior shape 17 each have a tapping hole 19. The lower frame 3 has a screen rail 20 at the exterior end to guide the bottom of the screen (not shown), an outer rail 21 on the indoor side of the screen rail 20 to guide the bottom of the outer screen 10a, and an inner rail 22 on the indoor side of the outer rail 21 to guide the bottom of the inner screen 10b. Resin cover materials 23, 24 are attached between the outer rail 21 and the inner rail 22 and on the indoor side of the inner rail 22. An angle portion 25 is integrally provided on the indoor side cover material 24. Furthermore, the lower frame 3 has a frame mounting piece 26 protruding outward from the middle in the indoor/outdoor direction.

As shown in Figure 2, the left and right vertical frames 1a and 1b are made of extruded aluminum alloy material, and the indoor side portion is covered by a resin cover material 27 attached from the inner periphery. Angle section 25 is integrally formed on cover material 27. The left and right vertical frames 1a and 1b have a projection wall 28, multiple fins 29a, 29b, 29c, 29d protruding from projection wall 28 to the inner periphery, and a frame attachment piece 26 protruding from projection wall 28 to the outer periphery. The fin 29c of the left vertical frame 1a, which is located on the left side when viewed from the outside, is swallowed into the door edge of the inner screen 10b to ensure watertightness between the door edge of the inner screen 10b. The fin 29d of the right vertical frame 1b, which is located on the right side when viewed from the outside, is swallowed into the door edge of the outer screen 10a to ensure watertightness between the door edge of the outer screen 10a.

The upper frame 2, lower frame 3, and left and right vertical frames 1a, 1b described above are the same as those used in conventional sashes. The opening construction material of this invention is characterized by the way in which the vertical frames 1a, 1b are connected to the upper frame 2 and lower frame 3.
Figures 6 and 7 show the joint between the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2. As shown in Figures 6 and 7(a), the upper frame 2 has a flat joint surface 6 formed by attaching a flat plate 5 to its longitudinal end surface. The flat plate 5 is made of aluminum, for example, and has a rubber sheet-like sealer 4 attached to its surface facing the upper frame 2. Fins 30a, 30b are formed on the surface of the flat plate 5 facing the upper frame 2 so as to be continuous with the fins 29b, 29c of the left vertical frame 1a. Of these, the fin 30b on the indoor side is swallowed up into the door tip of the inner sash 10b, and the fin 30b is positioned in contact with the outdoor side of the inner rail 22 (see Figure 1). Furthermore, holes 32 are formed in the flat plate 5 through which screws 31 are inserted to be screwed into the tapping holes 19 in the upper frame 2, and the screws 31 inserted into the holes 32 are screwed into the tapping holes 19 in the upper frame 2 and tightened, thereby fixing and attaching the flat plate 5 to the longitudinal end face of the upper frame 2, and the sealer 4 is pressed against the longitudinal end face of the upper frame 2 and is in a crushed state. The head 31a of the screw 31 is dish-shaped, and the hole 32 in the flat plate 5 has a countersink into which the head 31a of the screw 31 fits, so that the head 31a of the screw 31 does not protrude from the joint surface 6 of the flat plate 5.

As shown in Figures 6 and 7(a), the left vertical frame 1a has fins 29a, 29b, and 29c that protrude from the inner periphery of the projection wall 28 and the cover material 27 cut out in the area facing the flat plate 5 to form a flat joint surface 7, and double-sided tape 33 is affixed to the joint surface 7. The double-sided tape 33 is a strong structural double-sided tape that can be used outdoors.

In this way, the flat plate 5 is attached to the longitudinal end face of the upper frame 2 to form the joint surface 6, and the joint surface 7 is formed on the left vertical frame 1a and double-sided tape 33 is applied. Then, as shown in Figs. 7(a) and (b), the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2 are bonded together with the double-sided tape 33 to connect the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2. When bonding the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2 together, the fin 29a on the outside of the left vertical frame 1a and the small end of the cover material 27 are abutted against the tip of the screen rail 20 of the upper frame 2 and the inner side surface of the angle portion 25, respectively, so that the upper frame 2 can be connected to the left vertical frame 1a without tilting. The double-sided tape 33 may be applied to the upper frame 2 side (flat plate 5) instead of the vertical frame 1a side.

As shown in Figures 8 and 9(a), the right vertical frame 1b and the upper frame 2 are connected in the same way as the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2. A flat plate 5 is attached to the longitudinal end of the upper frame 2 via a sealer 4 to form a joint surface 6, and the fins 29a, 29d and the cover material 27 are cut out in the area facing the flat plate 5 of the right vertical frame 1b to form a flat joint surface 7. Double-sided tape 33 is attached to either the joint surface 6 of the upper frame 2 or the joint surface 7 of the right vertical frame 1b. As shown in Figure 9(b), the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the right vertical frame 1b and the upper frame 2 are bonded together with the double-sided tape 33 to connect the right vertical frame 1b and the upper frame 2. The flat plate 5 is formed with a fin 30c that is continuous with the fin 29d of the right vertical frame 1b, and the fin 30c is placed in contact with the outside of the outer rail 21 and is swallowed up by the door tip of the outer sash 10a.

As shown in Figures 10 and 11(a), the left vertical frame 1a and the lower frame 3 are connected in the same manner as the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2. A flat plate 5 is attached to the longitudinal end face of the lower frame 3 via a sealer 4 to form a joint surface 6, and the fins 29a, 29b, 29c and the cover material 27 are cut out in the area facing the flat plate 5 of the left vertical frame 1a to form a flat joint surface 7. Double-sided tape 33 is applied to either the joint surface 6 of the lower frame 3 or the joint surface 7 of the left vertical frame 1a. As shown in Figure 11(b), the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the left vertical frame 1a and the lower frame 3 are bonded together with the double-sided tape 33 to connect the left vertical frame 1a and the lower frame 3.

As shown in Figures 12 and 13(a), the right vertical frame 1b and the lower frame 3 are connected in the same way as the left vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 2. A flat plate 5 is attached to the longitudinal end face of the lower frame 3 via a sealer 4 to form a joint surface 6, and the fins 29a, 29d and the cover material 27 are cut out in the area facing the flat plate 5 of the right vertical frame 1b to form a flat joint surface 7. Double-sided tape 33 is applied to either the joint surface 6 of the lower frame 3 or the joint surface 7 of the right vertical frame 1b. As shown in Figure 13(b), the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the right vertical frame 1b and the lower frame 3 are bonded together with the double-sided tape 33 to connect the right vertical frame 1b and the lower frame 3.

Next, the construction procedure of this opening construction material will be described. In the case of conventional sashes, the sash manufacturer separates the upper frame, lower frame, vertical frame, etc., packs them in cardboard boxes, and the frame is assembled at the sash dealer, and the assembled frame is delivered to the construction site. However, with this opening construction material, the frame 9 can be assembled at the construction site, and the following describes the case of assembly at the construction site as an example.
When the upper frame 2 and the lower frame 3 are shipped from the sash manufacturer, flat plates 5 are attached to both longitudinal end faces to form joint surfaces 6. When the left vertical frame 1a and the right vertical frame 1b are shipped from the sash manufacturer, joint surfaces 7 are formed on the inner peripheral side surfaces of the upper and lower ends, and double-sided tape 33 is attached to the joint surfaces 7 in advance, so that at the construction site, the release paper from the double-sided tape 33 only needs to be peeled off.
Then, at the construction site, the joint surface 7 of the left vertical frame 1a and the joint surface 6 of the upper frame 2 are adhered with double-sided tape 33 as shown in Fig. 7, the joint surface 7 of the right vertical frame 1b and the joint surface 6 of the upper frame 2 are adhered with double-sided tape 33 as shown in Fig. 9, the joint surface 7 of the left vertical frame 1a and the joint surface 6 of the lower frame 3 are adhered with double-sided tape 33 as shown in Fig. 11, and the joint surface 7 of the right vertical frame 1b and the joint surface 6 of the lower frame 3 are adhered with double-sided tape 33 as shown in Fig. 13, thereby assembling the frame 9. In this way, the frame 9 can be easily assembled at the construction site without using tools such as a screwdriver.

In the case of a large opening sash installed on the second floor of a building, in the conventional construction method, the assembled frame must be lifted up between the outdoor scaffolding and the building frame, which may cause the frame to deform or be damaged, but this opening building material can solve such problems by assembling the frame 9 on the second floor.
Thereafter, the assembled frame 9 is placed into the frame opening 8 from the outside of the room in the same manner as a conventional sash, and the frame attachment pieces 26 formed on all four sides of the frame 9 are fixed to the frame 34 with screws (not shown) (see Figures 3 and 4). By placing the frame 9 in the frame opening 8 and fixing the frame attachment pieces 26 to the frame 34 in this manner, the adhesion between the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames (upper frame 2, lower frame 3) is restricted from coming apart, so the framework is held more firmly and the shape of the frame 9 can be maintained in the same manner as a conventional frame in which the vertical frames and horizontal frames are fastened with screws.

As described above, this opening building material comprises vertical frames 1a, 1b and horizontal frames (upper frame 2, lower frame 3), and the horizontal frames 2, 3 have flat plates 5 attached to their longitudinal end faces via sealant 4 to form joint surfaces 6, and the vertical frames 1a, 1b form flat joint surfaces 7 on their inner side surfaces. By bonding the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 together, the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 can be connected, allowing the frame 9 to be easily assembled, improving workability.
In addition, since this opening building material does not require screw fastening to frame it, it can be easily framed at the construction site.
In this construction material for openings, the adhesive area is increased by attaching flat plates 5 to the longitudinal end faces of the horizontal frames 2, 3, so that adhesive strength can be ensured.
Furthermore, this opening building material restricts the adhesion of the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 from coming apart by fitting the frame 9 made of the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 into the structural opening 8, so that the framework is held more firmly and the frame 9 does not come apart or deform.
In addition, this opening building material has frame attachment pieces 26 that are attached to the frame 34 on the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3, and by fixing the frame attachment pieces 26 to the frame 34, the adhesion between the joint surfaces 6, 7 of the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 is prevented from coming apart, so that the framework is held more firmly and the frame 9 does not come apart or deform.
Furthermore, in this opening building material, a sealant 4 is interposed in a crushed state between the longitudinal end faces of the horizontal frames 2, 3 and the flat plate 5, and by adhering the flat plate 5 to the joint surfaces 7 of the vertical frames 1a, 1b with double-sided tape 33, water leakage from the joints between the vertical frames 1a, 1b and the horizontal frames 2, 3 can be prevented.
