Description

The present invention relates to a capping structure for attaching a capping to the upper end of a rising part such as a parapet formed along the outer edge of a balcony or flat roof.

Conventionally, wall panels are placed on both sides of a steel base frame, and a coping is placed across the top ends of the wall panels on both sides to form a rising section on the periphery of an outdoor floor such as a parapet (Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2). Inside such a rising section, an aluminum coping mounting bracket is attached to the top surface of the base frame, and the coping fits into the coping mounting bracket, allowing the coping to be attached with good workability.

実開平5-92315号公報Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 5-92315 特開2018-119271号公報JP 2018-119271 A

When attaching a capping bracket to a steel base frame, a wooden board-shaped base material is attached to the top surface of the base frame, and the capping bracket is placed on top of the base material and fixed by driving in a screw. When installing such wooden base material, a long board designed to fit the width of the rising part is cut to the desired length at the construction site and fixed to the base frame. In such cases, at corners such as outside corners and inside corners of the outdoor floor, the base material formed by cutting the board diagonally is fixed to the base frame along the corner by butting them together.

However, the finishing precision of the corner fastening process described above depends on the construction precision of the base frame itself that forms the raised portion, and if there is an unevenness on the top surface of the adjacent base frame, the construction precision of the base material at the corner will also decrease, which may impair the finishing precision of the coping board.

The present invention aims to provide a coping mounting structure that allows for precise finishing of copings without compromising the construction accuracy of the base material at the corners.

The first capping structure of the present invention is a capping structure for a rising portion formed along the outer periphery of an outdoor floor section, comprising a base frame, wall panels fixed to both side surfaces of the base frame, a base material fixed to the upper surface of the base frame, a mounting member fixed to the base material, and a capping fixed to the mounting member so as to cover the upper end of the wall panel, characterized in that the base material comprises a long, flat, straight section base material made of wood that follows the straight section of the outer periphery, and a corner base material made of wood that is integrally formed in a bent flat shape that follows the corners of the outer periphery.

The second coping mounting structure of the present invention is characterized in that, in addition to the features of the first coping mounting structure, the base material is formed by fastening a wide upper plate and a narrow lower plate one above the other, and the lower plate is formed to a width shorter than the distance between the wall panels on both sides.

The third capping structure of the present invention is characterized in that, in addition to the features of the first or second capping structure, the mounting member has a straight section mounting member that is fixed to the straight section base material and is formed so that the length in the longitudinal direction of the straight section base material is shorter than the length in the width direction of the straight section base material, and a bent mounting member that is formed along the bent portion of the corner base material.

The fourth capping structure of the present invention has the features of any one of the first to third capping structures, and is characterized in that the straight section mounting member has multiple screw holes that penetrate vertically, screws inserted into the screw holes are driven into the straight section base material to fix it, and the screw holes are elongated holes that are long in the width direction of the straight section base material.

The fifth capping mounting structure of the present invention is characterized in that, in addition to the characteristics of any of the first to fourth capping mounting structures, the folded mounting member has a plurality of screw holes that penetrate vertically, and screws inserted into the screw holes are driven into the corner base material to fix it, and the screw holes are elongated holes that are long in a direction parallel to the line connecting the outer corner and inner corner of the corner base material.

The sixth coping mounting structure of the present invention is characterized in that, in addition to the features of any one of the coping mounting structures of the first to fifth aspects, a drip-proof material is placed on the base material so as to cover the upper end of the exterior wall panel and the base material, and the mounting member is fixed by driving screws into the base material through the screw holes of the mounting member from above the drip-proof material.

The seventh capping structure of the present invention has the same features as any of the first to sixth capping structures, but is also characterized in that a waterproof tape is adhered to the back of the mounting member at the position where the screw hole is formed.

According to the first capping mounting structure of the present invention, the base material fixed to the top surface of the base frame comprises a wooden flat straight section base material that follows the straight section of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor, and a corner base material that is integrally formed with a wooden flat plate that follows the corner of the outer periphery. Even if a step occurs between the top surfaces of adjacent base frames at the corner, the corner base material is integrally formed with the wooden corner base material, so that the step of the base frame is covered by the corner base material, and the mounting member and capping fixed to the corner base material are not affected by the step, and the capping can be finished with precision.

According to the second capping structure of the present invention, the base material is formed by fastening a wide upper plate to a narrower lower plate, and the lower plate is formed to a width shorter than the distance between the wall panels on both sides. Therefore, even if the upper end of the wall panel is higher than the top surface of the base frame, the lower plate can be abutted against the top surface of the base frame to fix the base material, and because the top plate of the base material is wide, mounting members and drip-proofing materials can be secured in the required positions regardless of the distance between the wall panels.

According to the third capping mounting structure of the present invention, the mounting member has a straight section mounting member that is fixed to the straight section base material and a bent mounting member that is formed along the bent portion of the corner base material. The straight section mounting member is formed short in the longitudinal direction of the straight section base material, so that the mounting member can be made small, reducing material costs and part transportation costs while improving workability.

According to the fourth capping structure of the present invention, the screw holes formed in the straight section mounting member are elongated in the width direction of the straight section base material, and the screws are driven into the straight section base material to fix it. This allows the position of the straight section mounting member to be adjusted in the width direction of the straight section base material, and the position of the capping board fixed to the straight section mounting member can be appropriately adjusted.

According to the fifth capping mounting structure of the present invention, the screw holes formed in the folded mounting member are elongated holes that are long in a direction parallel to the line connecting the outer corner and inner corner of the corner base material, and the screws are driven into the corner base material to fix it.Therefore, the folded mounting member can be positioned in the direction of the bisector of the corner of the corner base material, and the position of the capping board fixed to the folded mounting member can be appropriately adjusted.

According to the sixth coping mounting structure of the present invention, a water-repellent material is placed on top of the base material so as to cover the upper end of the exterior wall panel and the base material, and the mounting member is fixed by driving screws through the screw holes of the mounting member into the base material from above the water-repellent material, thereby improving the waterproofing of the rising portion.

According to the seventh coping mounting structure of the present invention, waterproof tape is adhered to the back surface of the mounting member at the position where the screw holes are formed, so that when the screws are driven into the flashing material and base material through the screw holes, water can be prevented from entering through the gap between the screw and the screw hole.

The following describes an embodiment of the capping structure of the present invention with reference to the drawings. The capping structure 1 is a structure for attaching a capping 3 to the upper end of a rising part 2 formed on the outer periphery of an outdoor floor part such as a balcony or flat roof (not shown). The rising part 2 is, for example, a waist wall or a parapet. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the rising part 2 includes a steel base frame 4 whose lower end is fixed to the building structure, a wall panel 5 fixed to the base frame 4 to form the outer and inner sides of the rising part 2, a wooden base material 6 fixed to the upper surface of the base frame 4, a water-repellent material 7 placed on the base material 6, a mounting member 8 fixed to the base material 6 from above the water-repellent material 7, and a capping 3 fixed to the mounting member 8 and placed on the upper side of the base frame 4.

As shown in FIG. 2, the base frame 4 is formed in a rectangle with multiple vertical members 40 erected on the outer periphery of the outdoor floor and multiple horizontal members 41 erected between the vertical members 40. The base frame 4 is formed by welding or bolting lip channel steel, and the lower ends of the vertical members 40 are fixed to the structural frame that constitutes the outdoor floor of the building.

The wall panel 5 has a wall panel main body 50 formed of, for example, a ceramic-based base material, and mounting grooves 51 formed on the back surface of the wall panel main body 50 and extending vertically at predetermined positions from both side edges of the wall panel main body 50. The wall panel main body 50 is a rectangular flat plate, and the upper end surface forms a protruding step 52 in which the back surface side protrudes more than the front surface side. The mounting groove 51 is formed by a lip channel steel embedded in the wall panel main body 50 and exposes an opening on the back surface side. The wall panel 5 has two mounting grooves 51 formed in the wall panel 5, extending vertically over the entire height of the wall panel main body 50. The mounting grooves 51 are fixed to the base frame 4 with wall mounting brackets (not shown), and the wall panel 5 is attached to the base frame 4.

The rising portion 2 is provided with a handrail 20 that is fixed, for example, to one of the wall panels 5 and extends upward. By fixing such a handrail 20 to the wall panel 5, there is no need to provide a hole in the coping 3 to fix the handrail 20, and it has excellent waterproofing properties. However, the rising portion 2 in the coping mounting structure 1 of the present invention is not limited to this configuration, and may be, for example, a waist wall without a handrail 20, or may have a configuration in which the handrail 20 protrudes vertically from the coping 3.

As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the base material 6 has a straight-line base material 60 that fits along the straight-line portion of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor, and a corner base material 61 that fits along the corners of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor. As shown in Fig. 3, the straight-line base material 60 is made of wood and formed into a long rectangular flat plate, and is formed by fixing a wide upper plate 62 and a narrower lower plate 63 to each other. The width of the upper plate 62 is longer than the distance between the wall panels 5 on both sides. The width of the lower plate 63 is shorter than the distance between the wall panels 5 on both sides, so that it can be inserted between the wall panels 5.

As shown in FIG. 4, the corner base material 61 is made of wood and formed into a flat plate in an L-shape in a plan view, and is formed by fixing a wide upper plate 62 and a narrower lower plate 63 to each other. The width of the upper plate 62 is longer than the distance between the wall panels 5 on both sides. The width of the lower plate 63 is shorter than the distance between the wall panels 5 on both sides, and can be inserted between the wall panels 5 in the same way as the straight-line base material 60. The corner base material 61 is formed by cutting the upper plate 62 and the lower plate 63 into an integral shape cut out of plywood in an L-shape. In this embodiment, the straight-line base material 60 and the upper plate 62 and the lower plate 63 of the corner base material 61 are fixed to each other by adhesive or a tacker, but these straight-line base material 60 and the corner base material 61 are not limited to this, and may be formed integrally by cutting out the lower corners of thick plywood. In addition, the corner base material 61 placed at the outside corner of the outdoor floor section and the corner base material 61 placed at the inside corner of the outdoor floor section may have the same or different dimensions.

As shown in FIG. 5, the water-repellent material 7 is a metal plate material fixed on the base material 6, and is formed in a cross section of a generally U-shape that opens downward. The water-repellent material 7 is formed so that both ends hang over the protruding step 52 formed by the back side of the upper end of the wall panel 5 protruding upward, and is formed to cover the upper ends of the base material 6 and the wall panel 5. As shown in FIG. 5(A), the water-repellent material 7 has a straight-line water-repellent material 70 that runs along the straight-line portion of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor, and a corner water-repellent material 71 that runs along the corners of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor, as shown in FIG. 5(B). The straight-line water-repellent material 70 has a horizontal straight-line upper surface portion 72 formed in the shape of a long rectangular flat plate, and side hanging portions 73 that are formed to hang down from both side edges of the straight-line upper surface portion 72. The corner water-repellent material 71 has a horizontal L-shaped upper surface 74 that is L-shaped when viewed from above, and bent hanging portions 75 that hang down from both side edges of the L-shaped upper surface 74. The water-repellent material 7 is arranged so that the ends of adjacent water-repellent materials 7 overlap each other, and is arranged without interruption over the entire length of the rising portion 2.

As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the mounting member 8 has a bent mounting member 80 formed along the bent portion of the corner base material 61, and a straight portion mounting member 81 fixed to the straight portion base material 60. As shown in Figure 6, two types of bent mounting members 80 are provided, one for protruding corners and one for recessed corners. The bent mounting members 80 for protruding corners and the bent mounting members 80 for recessed corners are members with similar shapes and perform the same role, so the same reference numerals are given to each part and redundant explanations are omitted. The bent mounting member 80 is fixed to the corner of the rising portion 2 and fixes the cap board 3 thereon. The bent mounting member 80 has a corner cap board mounting portion 82 that fits the butt portion of the protruding corner or the recessed corner of the cap board 3 when the cap board 3 is fitted from above, and a corner fixing surface portion 83 that fixes the bent mounting member 80 to the base material 6 with a screw 84 that penetrates the water-repelling material 7. The corner capping attachment portion 82 has a flat upper surface that abuts against the back surface of the corner capping 3, and has locking portions 85 that hang down from both side edges that form the corner to lock the capping 3.

The upper surface of the corner capping attachment part 82 is formed with both side edges widened and the middle part narrowed, and corner fixing surface parts 83 are formed on both sides of the upper surface of the corner capping attachment part 82. The corner fixing surface part 83 is abutted on the water drip material 7 lower than the upper surface of the corner capping attachment part 82 and is fixed to the corner base material 61 with a screw 84. The corner fixing surface part 83 has two screw holes 86 that penetrate from the top to the bottom. A waterproof tape 90 is attached to the underside of the corner fixing surface part 83 so as to cover the screw holes 86, and when the screw 84 is inserted into the screw hole 86, rainwater can be prevented from entering through the gap between the screw 84 and the screw hole 86. The screw hole 86 is a long hole that is long in a direction parallel to the line connecting the outer corner and the inner corner of the corner base material 61, and the position of the bent attachment member 80 can be adjusted.

As shown in FIG. 7, there are two types of straight section mounting members 81: one that is placed at a position where adjacent cappings 3 are butted together in a straight line, and one that is placed at a position that is not the butt portion of the cappings 3. The straight section mounting member 81 has an upper surface and two side surfaces that hang down from both sides of the upper surface. A straight fixing surface portion 88 that is fixed to the straight section base material 60 is formed on the upper surface, and a capping mounting portion 87 that engages the lower end of the capping 3 is formed on the side surface. Four screw holes 86 that penetrate in the vertical direction are formed in the straight fixing surface portion 88 of the straight section mounting member 81, and the four screw holes 86 are elongated holes that are long in the width direction of the straight section base material 60. This allows the position of the straight section mounting member 81 to be adjusted when the screws 84 inserted into the screw holes 86 penetrate the water-repelling material 7 and are driven into the straight section base material 60. Waterproof tape 90 is attached to the underside of the straight fixing surface portion 88 so as to cover the screw hole 86, and when the screw 84 is inserted into the screw hole 86, rainwater can be prevented from entering through the gap between the screw 84 and the screw hole 86. A waterproof sheet 89 is provided on the back surface of the straight part mounting member 81, which is placed at the butt part of the capping 3, to prevent rainwater seeping in between the two adjacent cappings 3 from entering the inside of the rising part 2 through the screw hole 86 of the straight fixing surface portion 88.

As shown in FIG. 8, the capping board 3 has a top plate 30 and two side plates 31 that hang down from the side edges of the top plate 30. The top plate 30 is formed in a flat shape and slopes downward toward the inside of the outdoor floor. The side plate 31 has a locking claw 32 that is locked to the mounting member 8 and is formed toward the inside. The capping boards 3 include a capping board 3 for protruding corners, a capping board 3 for recessed corners, and a capping board 3 for straight sections. One end of the capping board 3 for protruding corners and the capping board 3 for recessed corners are cut diagonally, and two capping boards 3 are butted together at the corner of the protruding corner or recessed corner to form the capping board 3 for the protruding corner and the recessed corner. The capping board 3 for the straight section is cut at a right angle in the length direction and is arranged to butt together with the adjacent capping board 3.

When constructing the capping structure 1, as shown in Figs. 9 and 10, the straight section base material 60, the corner base material 61 for protruding corners, and the corner base material 61 for recessed corners are placed on the upper surface of the base frame 4, and then fixed with screws as shown in Fig. 13. At this time, the lower plate 63 of each base material 6 is formed with a width shorter than the distance between the wall panels 5 on both sides. Therefore, even if the upper surface of the wall panel 5 is higher than the upper surface of the base frame 4 due to construction accuracy, the lower plate 63 can fit between the wall panels 5 and abut the upper surface of the base frame 4, and each base material 6 can be securely fixed to the base frame 4. In addition, since the corner base material 61 for protruding corners or recessed corners is integrally formed at this time, even if there is a slight step at the part where the base frames 4 of the protruding corners or recessed corners are butted together, the corner base material 6 for protruding corners or recessed corners can be fixed, so that the base material 6 can be provided without a step at the protruding corners and recessed corners.

After each base material 6 is fixed to the top surface of the base frame 4, the straight section flashing material 70 and the corner flashing material 71 are then placed on top of the base material 6 with their ends overlapping, as shown in Figures 11 and 12. At this time, the flashing material 7 is formed to cover the top ends of the base material 6 and the wall panels 5, preventing rainwater from penetrating into the rising parts between the wall panels 5.

On top of the water-repellent material 7, the straight section mounting member 81 and the bent mounting member 80 are further placed, and screws 84 are driven into the base material 6 through the screw holes 86 formed in the straight fixing surface portion 88 of the straight section mounting member 81 and the screw holes 86 formed in the corner fixing surface portion 83 of the bent mounting member 80, penetrating the water-repellent material 7, and fixing the water-repellent material 7 and the respective mounting members 80, 81 as shown in FIG. 14. At this time, since the screw holes 86 are elongated holes, the positions of the straight section mounting member 81 and the bent mounting member 80 can be adjusted.

Then, as shown in Figures 15 and 16, the fascia 3 for the straight section, the fascia 3 for the protruding corner, and the fascia 3 for the inside corner are fitted and fixed into the mounting members 80, 81, respectively, and the construction of the fascia mounting structure 1 is completed as shown in Figure 1. The fascia 3 for the protruding corner and the fascia 3 for the inside corner are each cut at an angle and formed to butt together at the corners, but since the corner base material 61 is integrally formed to the shape of the corners of the protruding corner and the inside corner, there is no vertical step between adjacent fascia 3, preventing misalignment of the fascia 3 and improving construction.

It goes without saying that the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the scope of the concept of the present invention.

<First feature>
The first feature of this embodiment is a capping mounting structure which comprises a base frame, wall panels fixed to both side surfaces of the base frame, a base material fixed to the upper surface of the base frame, a mounting member fixed to the base material, and a capping fixed to the mounting member so as to cover the upper end of the wall panel, and is a capping mounting structure for a raised portion formed along the outer peripheral edge of an outdoor floor portion, wherein the base material comprises a long, flat, straight portion base material made of wood which follows the straight portion of the outer peripheral edge, and a corner base material made of wood which is integrally formed in a curved, flat shape which follows the corner portions of the outer peripheral edge.

According to this, the base material fixed to the top surface of the base frame comprises a wooden flat straight-line base material that follows the straight line of the outer periphery of the outdoor floor, and a corner base material that is integrally formed with a wooden flat plate that follows the corner of the outer periphery. Even if a step occurs between the top surfaces of adjacent base frames at the corner, the corner base material is integrally formed with the wooden corner base material, so that the step of the base frame is covered by the corner base material, and the mounting member and the top board fixed to the corner base material are not affected by the step, and the top board can be finished with precision.

<Second feature>
The second feature of the present embodiment, the capping mounting structure, is characterized in that, in addition to the first feature, the base material is formed by fixing a wide upper plate and a narrow lower plate one above the other, and the lower plate is formed to a width shorter than the distance between the wall panels on both sides.

According to this, the base material is formed by fastening a wide upper plate to a narrower lower plate, and the lower plate is formed to a width shorter than the distance between the wall panels on both sides. Therefore, even if the upper end of the wall panel is higher than the top surface of the base frame, the lower plate can be abutted against the top surface of the base frame to fix the base material, and because the top plate of the base material is wide, mounting members and drip-proofing materials can be attached in the required positions regardless of the distance between the wall panels.

<Third feature>
The third feature of the present embodiment is a cap mounting structure, which, in addition to the first feature, is characterized in that the mounting member comprises a straight section mounting member that is fixed to the straight section base material and is formed so that the length in the longitudinal direction of the straight section base material is shorter than the length in the width direction of the straight section base material, and a bent mounting member that is formed along the bent portion of the corner base material.

According to this, the mounting members include a straight section mounting member that is fixed to the straight section base material, and a bent mounting member that is formed along the bent portion of the corner base material. The straight section mounting member is formed short in the longitudinal direction of the straight section base material, so that the mounting members can be made smaller, reducing material costs and part transportation costs while improving workability.

<Fourth feature>
The fourth feature of the capping structure of this embodiment is, in addition to the third feature, that the straight section mounting member has a plurality of screw holes penetrating vertically, and screws inserted into the screw holes are driven into the straight section base material to fix the straight section base material, and the screw holes are elongated in the width direction of the straight section base material.

According to this, the screw holes formed in the straight section mounting member are elongated holes that are long in the width direction of the straight section base material, and the screws are driven into the straight section base material to fix it, so the position of the straight section mounting member can be adjusted in the width direction of the straight section base material, and the position of the coping board fixed to the straight section mounting member can be appropriately adjusted.

<Fifth feature>
The fifth feature of the present embodiment of the capping structure is, in addition to the third feature, that the bent mounting member has a plurality of screw holes penetrating vertically, and screws inserted into the screw holes are driven into the corner base material to fix the bent mounting member, and the screw holes are elongated in a direction parallel to a line connecting the outer corner and the inner corner of the corner base material.

According to this, the screw holes formed in the bent mounting member are elongated holes that are long in a direction parallel to the line connecting the outer corner and inner corner of the corner base material, and the screws are driven into the corner base material to fix it.Therefore, the position of the bent mounting member can be adjusted in the direction of the bisector of the corner of the corner base material, and the position of the top board fixed to the bent mounting member can be appropriately adjusted.

<Sixth feature>
The sixth feature of the present embodiment of the capping structure is that, in addition to the fourth or fifth feature, a drip-proof material is disposed on the base material so as to cover the upper end of the wall panel and the base material, and the mounting member is fixed by driving a screw into the base material through a screw hole of the mounting member from above the drip-proof material.

With this, the drip-proofing material is placed on top of the base material so as to cover the upper end of the exterior wall panel and the base material, and the mounting member is fixed by driving screws through the screw holes of the mounting member into the base material from above the drip-proofing material, thereby improving the waterproofing of the rising portion.

<Seventh feature>
The seventh feature of the capping structure of this embodiment is, in addition to the sixth feature, that a waterproof tape is adhered to the back surface of the mounting member at the position where the screw hole is formed.

By doing this, waterproof tape is adhered to the back surface of the mounting member at the position where the screw holes are formed, so when the screws are driven into the flashing material and base material through the screw holes, water can be prevented from seeping in through the gap between the screw and the screw hole.
