Description

The present invention relates to a frame mounting structure for attaching a fitting frame to a structural opening frame, and to a wall unit.

As shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2, when attaching the frame of the fitting to the frame of the opening in the main structure, the two are fixed with screws to ensure strength. For example, in the mounting structure described in Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 16, the gap between the frame 500 of the opening in the main structure and the frame 502 of the fitting is sealed with a spacer 504 and packing material 506, and airtightness and waterproofness are ensured by attaching a waterproof sheet 508. In addition, the frame 500 of the opening in the main structure and the frame 502 are fixed with screws 510.

However, to ensure sufficient fixing strength between the frame of the opening in the building structure and the frame of the fitting, a considerable number of screws are required, and the screw fixing work takes time. In addition, the airtight and waterproof structure is formed from spacers, packing materials, and waterproof sheets, and there are many parts, and there is a concern that gaps will occur between each component. Furthermore, if the waterproof sheet is applied by an inexperienced worker, it may wrinkle, resulting in discontinuities, and there is a concern that the airtightness and waterproofness will be reduced.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above problems, and aims to provide a frame mounting structure and wall unit that reduces or eliminates the number of screws and other parts used for fixing when attaching a fitting frame to a structural opening frame, and that also provides sufficient airtightness and waterproofing.

In order to solve the above problems and achieve the objectives, the frame mounting structure of the present invention is a frame mounting structure for mounting a fitting frame to a structural opening frame, and is characterized in that the interior boundary, which is the interior side edge of the opposing surface between the structural opening frame and the frame, is continuously sealed around all four sides with adhesive.

The frame mounting structure of the present invention is a frame mounting structure for mounting a fitting frame to a structural opening frame, and is characterized in that at least one of the areas between the opposing surfaces of the structural opening frame and the frame and the outdoor boundary, which is the outdoor edge of the opposing surfaces, is continuously sealed with adhesive between the upper frame of the frame and the upper member of the structural opening frame, and between the vertical frame of the frame and the vertical member of the structural opening frame.

Furthermore, the wall unit of the present invention is characterized in that the frame opening frame and the frame body are unitized by applying the mounting structure of the frame body described above, and are attached to the building frame via the frame opening frame.

According to the present invention, when attaching the frame of the fitting to the frame of the opening of the building structure, the boundary on the interior side is sealed and bonded/fixed with adhesive on all four sides in a row, or the opposing surfaces are bonded and fixed, so that an appropriate fixing strength is obtained. Therefore, the screws for fixing the frame of the opening of the building structure to the frame can be omitted or the number of screws can be reduced, and the fixing process can be shortened. In addition, the adhesive serves as both a fixing means and an airtight/waterproofing means, so that the number of screws can be reduced and the spacers and packing materials used in the conventional technology can be omitted, and the number of parts can be reduced. Furthermore, by fixing with adhesive on all four sides in a row, there are no discontinuous parts, and wrinkles like those of waterproof tape do not occur, so sufficient airtightness and waterproofness can be obtained. In addition, even if adhesive is provided only on the exterior side, sufficient airtightness and waterproof performance can be obtained depending on the conditions.

Below, an embodiment of the frame mounting structure and wall unit according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to this embodiment.

Figure 1 is a schematic front view of a wall unit 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention, as viewed from the indoor side. Figure 2 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the wall unit 10. Figure 3 is a horizontal cross-sectional view of the wall unit 10.

The wall unit 10 is handled as a single structure when attached to a building, and comprises a fitting 14 and a structural opening frame 16. The fitting 14 and the structural opening frame 16 are joined by a mounting structure 12, which is an embodiment of the present invention. In other words, the wall unit 10 is a unit formed by applying the mounting structure 12 to the structural opening frame 16 and the frame body 18. The wall unit 10 is attached to the structural body of the building 50 (see Figure 5) via the structural opening frame 16.

The fitting 14 is a shoji screen 20 supported inside the frame 18. The frame 18 is formed by framing the upper frame 22, the lower frame 24, and the left and right vertical frames 26 on all four sides. The frame 18 is arranged on the inner periphery of the frame 16 of the main frame without any gaps. In other words, the frame 18 is sized to fit into the frame 16 of the main frame, and there is almost no gap between them. However, a narrow gap may be provided so that the frame 18 can be easily fitted into the frame 16 of the main frame, but the gap width is to a degree that can be filled with adhesives 60a and 60b described later. In other words, in this application, it is sufficient that there is no substantial gap between the frame 18 and the frame 16 of the main frame. Of course, the gap may be zero. It is sufficient that there is no substantial gap between the frame 18 and the frame 16 of the main frame, not over the entire visible surface, but over a part of the visible direction. As long as there is no substantial gap between the frame body 18 and the body opening frame 16, the structure is not limited to a fitting structure.

Frame materials with the same cross-sectional shape are used for the upper frame 22, lower frame 24, and left and right vertical frames 26. The frame materials constituting the upper frame 22, lower frame 24, and left and right vertical frames 26 are extruded shapes formed from metals such as aluminum alloys, or resin. When resin is used for these frame materials, metal reinforcing materials may be provided as appropriate.

In this application, the prospective direction refers to the indoor/outdoor direction of the fittings 14. The prospective surface refers to a surface that extends along the prospective direction. The visible direction is the direction perpendicular to the prospective direction, and in the case of a vertical frame 26 that is long in the vertical direction, it refers to the left-right direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and in the case of an upper frame 22 that is long in the horizontal direction, it refers to the up-down direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The visible surface refers to a surface that follows the prospective direction. In each figure, the left-right direction is indicated by arrow X, the up-down direction by arrow Y, and the prospective direction by arrow Z, as appropriate.

The shoji screen 20 is made up of a rectangular panel 28 with an upper frame 30, a lower frame 32, and left and right vertical frames 34 attached to all four sides, and is configured to be large enough that all four facing surfaces facing the outside can simultaneously abut against the door stop of the frame 18. In this embodiment, a link mechanism 29 is provided between the vertical frames 34 and the vertical frame 26, and the shoji screen 20 forms a sliding window that opens toward the inside of the room.

In addition, in this embodiment, the upper frame 30, lower frame 32, and left and right vertical frames 34 that make up the shoji screen 20 are made of frame material having the same cross-sectional shape as the frame body 18. The facing material 28 is, for example, composite glass. The inside of the frame body 18 in the fitting 14 is not limited to a sliding window type shoji screen 20, but may also be a sliding door type shoji screen, a door, or a revolving window. The gap between each frame of the shoji screen 20 and the frame body 18 is sealed with multiple sealing materials 33.

The structural opening frame 16 is a rectangular frame made up of a lintel (upper member) 36 and a window sill (lower member) 38 provided above and below between the left and right vertical members 35. The lintel 36 corresponds to the upper member of the structural opening frame 16, and the window sill 38 corresponds to the lower member of the structural opening frame 16.

In the frame 16, horizontal members 40 (see FIG. 1) are provided in the areas above the lintel 36 and below the window sill 38. The horizontal members 40 are provided between the vertical members 35 with gaps between the lintel 36 and the window sill 38. Insulating material 42 is provided in the gaps between the lintel 36 and the horizontal members 40 and between the window sill 38 and the horizontal members 40. The lintel 36, window sill 38, vertical members 35, and horizontal members 40 are structural members, and are made of wood, for example. The surface member 44 is a flat member made of plywood, and is fixed to the exterior facing surfaces of the lintel 36, window sill 38, and upper and lower horizontal members 36, and the exterior facing surfaces of the left and right vertical members 35. In this embodiment, the surface material 44 forms the visible surface of the lintel 36, window sill 38, and vertical member 35 facing the outside of the room. An opening 44a is formed in the center of the surface material 44 to expose the fitting 14.

The visible surfaces of the lintel 36, window sill 38 and vertical member 35, i.e., the surface of the facing material 44, are on the same plane as the visible surfaces of the upper frame 22, lower frame 24 and vertical frame 26 of the frame body 18. The lintel 36, window sill 38 and vertical member 35 have larger dimensions in the visible direction than the upper frame 22, lower frame 24 and vertical frame 26, and protrude slightly inside the room.

Next, we will explain the mounting structure 12 that attaches the frame 18 of the fitting 14 to the structural opening frame 16. The mounting structure 12 includes an adhesive 60a on the indoor side, an adhesive 60b on the outdoor side, and a waterproof sheet 62 on the outdoor side.

As described above, since there is no substantial gap between the frame 16 and the frame 18, the frame 16 and the frame 18 are substantially in contact with each other. In this application, the interior edge of the opposing surfaces 80, 80 (when there are multiple pairs of opposing surfaces, the pair closest to the interior) of the frame 16 and the frame 18 is the interior boundary 66. In other words, the interior boundary 66 is the boundary of the parts of the frame 16 and the frame 18 that are exposed to the interior. Specifically, in this embodiment, the boundary between the inner peripheral surface 36a of the lintel 36 and the interior facing surface 22a of the upper frame 22, the boundary between the inner peripheral surface 38a of the window sill 38 and the interior facing surface 24a of the lower frame 24, and the boundary between the inner peripheral surface 35a of the vertical member 35 and the interior facing surface 26a of the vertical frame 26 form the interior boundary 66. The adhesive 60a is applied across the two surfaces that form the interior boundary 66, and the two surfaces are bonded together. The facing surfaces 80, 80 between the frame 16 and the frame 18 are the locations where the inner peripheral surface of the frame 16 and the outer peripheral surface of the frame 18 overlap along the projection direction. Since there is essentially no gap between the frame 16 and the frame 18, the facing surfaces 80, 80 between the frame 16 and the frame 18 are mutually covered. If there is no gap between the frame 16 and the frame 18, the facing surfaces 80, 80 between the frame 16 and the frame 18 are abutting surfaces.

The adhesive 60a on the indoor side seals the indoor side boundary 66 between the structural opening frame 16 and the frame body 18 on all four sides, fixing the structural opening frame 16 to the frame body 18. The adhesive 60a fixes the structural opening frame 16 to the frame body 18 on all four sides without any gaps, ensuring airtightness and watertightness, and providing a very strong fixing strength.

In this application, the outside edge of the facing surfaces 82, 82 (when there are multiple pairs of facing surfaces, the pair on the outermost side is used. Here, a different reference number is used to distinguish them from the above-mentioned facing surfaces 80, 80) between the frame 16 and the frame 18 is the outside boundary 68. In other words, the outside boundary 68 is the boundary of the parts of the frame 16 and the frame 18 that are exposed to the outside. The adhesive 60b on the outside seals three of the four sides of the outside boundary 68 between the frame 16 and the frame 18, and fixes the frame 16 and the frame 18. Specifically, in this embodiment, the adhesive 60b seals the boundary between the outside visible surface 36b of the lintel 36 and the outside visible surface 22b of the upper frame 22, and the boundary between the outside visible surface 35b of the vertical member 35 and the outside visible surface 26b of the vertical frame 26. In other words, the adhesive 60b is applied across the two surfaces that form the exterior boundary 68, and the two surfaces are bonded together.

The adhesive 60b on the exterior side is provided continuously between the upper frame 22 of the frame body 18 and the lintel 36 of the frame body opening frame 16, and between the vertical frame 26 of the frame body 18 and the vertical member 35 of the frame body opening frame 16 on the exterior boundary 68. In this embodiment, no adhesive 60b is provided between the lower frame 24 of the frame body 18 and the window sill 38 of the frame body opening frame 16. By providing adhesive 60b on three sides between the frame body 18 and the frame body opening frame 16, airtightness, watertightness, and fixing strength are further improved. For example, hot melt type, two-liquid mixture type, moisture curing type, etc. can be applied as the adhesive 60a, 60b. The adhesive 60a and the adhesive 60b may be different types. Also, different types of adhesives may be used for the adhesive 60a on the interior side depending on the application location. Similarly, different types of adhesives may be used for the adhesive 60b on the interior side depending on the application location.

Figure 4 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the lower portion of the wall unit 10. As shown in Figure 4, a waterproof sheet 62 is attached to the window sill 38 of the structural opening frame 16, covering the inner peripheral visible surface 38a and the outdoor visible surface 38b. A water cutout 65 is formed on the upper outdoor surface of the window sill 38. The waterproof sheet 62 is attached between the inner peripheral visible surface 38a and the outdoor visible surface 38b, via the inner peripheral visible surface 65a and the outdoor visible surface 65b of the water cutout 65. The waterproof sheet 62 is a thin film member that is waterproof and flexible.

The waterproof sheet 62 is applied not to the entire inner peripheral visible surface 38a, but to the surface covered by the sill 24 and to an extent that it does not overlap the adhesive 60a, and is not applied to the surface exposed to the interior. The adhesive 60a does not overlap the waterproof sheet 62, and securely bonds the sill 24 and the window sill 38. The adhesive 60a and the waterproof sheet 62 may overlap by a small amount.

Rainwater that hits the surface material 28 of the shoji screen 20 will run down onto the window sill 38, but waterproofing is ensured by applying a waterproof sheet 62. In the mounting structure 12, the frame 16 and the frame 18 are fixed to each other with adhesives 60a, 60b, and may be further fixed using a small number of screws if necessary. However, between the window sill 38 and the lower frame 24, where water may run down from above, no screws are provided, and it is preferable not to drill screw holes in the waterproof sheet 62, to prevent water from entering through the screw holes.

No adhesive 60b is provided between the bottom frame 24 of the frame body 18 and the window sill 38 of the main body opening frame 16, but the window sill 38 is waterproofed with a waterproof sheet 62 and has a water drain 65, so water rarely gets in between the bottom frame 24 and the window sill 38. Even if water does get in between the bottom frame 24 and the window sill 38, the adhesive 60a ensures waterproofing on the inside of the room.

The wall unit 10 has a waterproof sheet 62 attached to cover the adhesive 60b on the three sides (left, right, and top) where it is fixed, ensuring an extra layer of waterproofing. Depending on the design and construction conditions, the waterproof sheet 62 may be omitted from the areas that cover the adhesive 60b.

A recess 70 is formed in the lower frame 24 along the longitudinal direction. A support piece 72 is provided between the window sill 38 and the recess 70. The support piece 72 fits into the recess 70 and abuts against the outer peripheral surface of the lower frame 24, thereby supporting the fitting 14 from below. The recess 70 in the lower frame 24 is formed to allow it to be used in common with the frame body of a conventional mounting structure (see Figure 16). Therefore, if there is no need to use it in common with the conventional structure, the recess 70 and support piece 72 can be omitted, and the outer peripheral surface of the lower frame 24 can be made to have a large area and come into direct contact with the window sill 38.

Figure 5 is a diagram for explaining a method of attaching the wall unit 10 to a building 50 to which it is to be attached. To attach the wall unit 10 to a building 50 such as a house, as shown in Figure 5, it is sufficient to place the wall unit 10 between the structure 52 such as pillars and beams provided on the building 50, and fix it to the structure 52 via the horizontal members 40 and vertical members 35 of the structure opening frame 16. In this method, the wall unit 10 is manufactured in advance in a place with well-equipped facilities and environment such as a factory, and then transported to the construction site and attached to the structure 52. When manufacturing the wall unit 10 in a factory, the work of applying the adhesives 60a, 60b along the indoor boundary 66 and the outdoor boundary 68 may be performed by automatically discharging the adhesives 60a, 60b from a nozzle provided on the hand of a robot, for example.

This construction method makes it possible to attach the wall unit 10 with high dimensional accuracy to the building with high precision, even if the on-site workers do not have high skills, and it is possible to obtain high dimensional accuracy for the building equipped with the wall unit 10. However, depending on the construction conditions, the work of attaching the frame 18 to the opening in the structure 52 of the building 50 using adhesives 60a, 60b, etc. may be performed at the construction site. In this case, the fixture 14 does not need to be a unit with the structure opening frame 18.

According to the above-mentioned wall unit 10 and mounting structure 12, when attaching the frame body 18 of the fitting 14 to the frame of the opening 16 of the building frame, the adhesive 60a is used to bond and fix the four sides of the fitting 14 in a continuous manner so as to close the interior boundary 66, thereby obtaining an appropriate fixing strength. Therefore, the number of screws for fixing can be omitted or reduced, and the fixing process can be shortened. In the mounting structure 12, the adhesives 60a and 60b serve as both a fixing means and an airtight/waterproofing means, and the number of screws can be reduced, and the spacer 504 and packing material 506 of the conventional technology (see FIG. 16) can be omitted, thereby reducing the number of parts. Conceptually, the adhesives 60a and 60b of the mounting structure 12 act to consolidate the screws, spacers, and packing materials of the conventional technology.

More specifically, in the mounting structure 12, the adhesives 60a and 60b have airtight and waterproof properties, making packing unnecessary. In addition, because packing is unnecessary and because of the need to provide the adhesives 60a and 60b, there is almost no gap between the frame 16 and the frame 18. And because there is almost no gap between the frame 16 and the frame 18, there is no need for spacers for dimensional adjustment.

In addition, by fixing the interior boundary 66 continuously around the four sides with adhesive 60a, there are no discontinuous parts and wrinkles, as occurs with waterproof tape, so sufficient airtightness and waterproofing can be achieved. However, as mentioned above, the mounting structure 12 may also use a waterproof sheet 62 on a part of the exterior side, etc.

In a wall unit 10 to which the mounting structure 12 is applied, when removing the fixture 14 from the frame 16 of the structural opening for renovation or other reasons, the fixture 14 can be easily removed in the forward direction by cutting the adhesive 60a, 60b with a cutter or the like.

Figure 6 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the upper part of the wall unit 10 to which the mounting structure 12A according to the first modified example is applied. In this case, the wall unit 10 has a fin 22Aa that protrudes inside the room and a fin 22Ab that protrudes to the outer periphery on the upper frame 22A that constitutes the frame body 18. The fin 22Aa is an extension of the wall 22Ac that forms the outer periphery side visible surface of the upper frame 22A to the indoor side. The fin 22Ab is erected vertically from the wall 22Ac. The lintel 36 that constitutes the body opening frame 16 is almost in contact with the outer periphery side visible surfaces of the upper frame 22A and the fin 22Aa, and is also almost in contact with the indoor side visible surface of the fin 22Ab.

In this case, the indoor boundary 66A is the boundary between the indoor end of the fin 22Aa and the inner peripheral visible surface of the lintel 36, and the indoor adhesive 60a is provided in a dome-shaped cross-section to close the indoor boundary 66A. In addition, the outdoor boundary 68A is the boundary between the outer peripheral end of the fin 22Ab and the outdoor peripheral visible surface 36b of the lintel 36, and the outdoor adhesive 60b is provided in a dome-shaped cross-section to close the outdoor boundary 68A. The upper frame 22A has been used as an example, but the same applies to the lower frame and vertical frames.

Figure 7 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the upper part of the wall unit 10 to which the mounting structure 12B according to the second modified example is applied. In this case, in the wall unit 10, a groove 74 is formed along the interior boundary 66 in the lintel 36, which is a component of the frame 16 of the opening in the main frame, and the adhesive 60a on the interior side is filled in the groove 74. By providing such a groove 74, the contact area between the adhesive 60a and the lintel 36 is increased, improving the fixing strength. It is recommended that such grooves 74 be provided not only in the lintel 36, but also in the window sill 38 and vertical member 35, and filled with adhesive 60a. Note that the grooves 74 are basically provided along the entire longitudinal length of each component of the frame 16 of the opening in the main frame, such as the lintel 36, but depending on the conditions, a suitable effect can be obtained by providing them on at least a part of the frame.

Figure 8 is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of the vertical frame 26 and vertical member 35 in the wall unit 10 to which the mounting structure 12C according to the third modified example is applied. Figure 9 is a partially enlarged schematic perspective view of the vertical frame 26 and vertical member 35 in the wall unit 10 to which the mounting structure 12C is applied, viewed from the inside of the room. As shown in Figures 8 and 9, in the mounting structure 12C, an auxiliary bracket 76 is provided across the interior boundary 66 in a portion between the vertical member 35 constituting the body opening frame 16 and the vertical frame 26 constituting the frame body 18. The auxiliary bracket 76 is a slightly elongated plate material partially sandwiched between the inner peripheral side visible surface of the vertical member 35 and the outer peripheral side visible surface of the vertical frame 26.

The auxiliary bracket 76 is fixed to the interior side exposed portion of the inner peripheral surface 35a of the vertical member 35 with a screw 78a, and is fixed to the outer peripheral surface 26c of the vertical frame 26 with a screw 78b. In this case, the adhesive 60a is provided continuously along the interior boundary 66, but is provided across the surface of the auxiliary bracket 76 while maintaining continuity. In this way, the provision of the adhesive 60a maintains continuity, thereby maintaining good waterproofing and ease of installation.

Since the vertical members 35 and vertical frames 26 are slightly longer than the horizontal members, if sufficient strength cannot be obtained with adhesive 60a alone, sufficient strength can be ensured by providing an appropriate number of auxiliary brackets 76. In addition, the auxiliary brackets 76 act to position the frame body 18 and the main body opening frame 16 before applying the adhesives 60a and 60b, making it possible to stably and easily apply the adhesives 60a and 60b.

Figure 10 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the upper portion of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12D according to the fourth modified example is applied. Figure 11 is an enlarged horizontal cross-sectional view of a portion of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12D according to the fourth modified example is applied.

As shown in FIG. 10, in the mounting structure 12D, the adhesive 60a is provided across the inner peripheral surface 36a of the lintel 36 and the interior facing surface 22a of the upper frame 22, and a portion of the adhesive 60a penetrates between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 of the lintel 36 and the upper frame 22. Also, as shown in FIG. 11, in the mounting structure 12D, the adhesive 60a is provided across the inner peripheral surface 35a of the vertical member 35 and the interior facing surface 26a of the vertical frame 26, and a portion of the adhesive 60a penetrates between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 of the vertical member 35 and the vertical frame 26. In this way, when a portion of the adhesive 60a penetrates between the opposing surfaces 80, 80, the airtightness and waterproof performance are further improved. As described above, the gap between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 may be substantially zero.

Figure 12 is an enlarged vertical cross-sectional view of the upper portion of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12E according to the fifth modified example is applied. Figure 13 is an enlarged horizontal cross-sectional view of a portion of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12E according to the fifth modified example is applied.

As shown in FIG. 12, in the mounting structure 12E, adhesive 60a is provided between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 of the lintel 36 and the upper frame 22 to bond both sides. In this case, adhesive 60a is not provided between the inner peripheral side visible surface 36a of the lintel 36 and the interior facing surface 22a of the upper frame 22. Also, as shown in FIG. 13, in the mounting structure 12E, adhesive 60a is provided between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 of the vertical member 35 and the vertical frame 26 to bond both sides. In this case, adhesive 60a is not provided between the inner peripheral side visible surface 35a of the vertical member 35 and the interior facing surface 26a of the vertical frame 26. Even if adhesive 60a is provided only between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 in this way, airtight and waterproof performance can be obtained. In addition, in Figures 12 and 13, the adhesive 60a is provided so as to cover the entire surface between the opposing surfaces 80, 80, but as long as it is continuous around the four sides between the body opening frame 16 and the frame body 18, it may be in a form in which only a part between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 is bonded.

According to the mounting structures 12, 12A to 12E described so far, the adhesive 60a on the indoor side is sufficient if at least one of the spaces between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 of the frame 16 and the frame 18 and the indoor side boundary 66 is continuously sealed around all four sides by the adhesive 60a.

Figure 14 is a vertical cross-sectional view of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12F according to the sixth modified example is applied. Figure 15 is a partially enlarged horizontal cross-sectional view of a wall unit to which the mounting structure 12F according to the sixth modified example is applied.

As shown in Figures 14 and 15, the mounting structure 12F corresponds to the adhesive 60b on the exterior side, and no adhesive 60a is provided between the opposing surfaces 80, 80 or at the interior boundary 66. In this case, an airtight material 84 such as a sponge is provided between the opposing surfaces 80, 80. The airtight material 84 is adhered to the opposing surfaces 80, 80, and has airtight and waterproof properties. The airtight material 84 is provided on all four sides between the main body opening frame 16 and the frame body 18, and complements the effect of the adhesive 60a in each of the above embodiments.

In this way, the adhesive 60b on the outdoor side provides sufficient airtightness and waterproofing through the cooperative action of the airtight material 84, etc., even when there is no adhesive 60a on the indoor side. In the above explanation, an example was shown in which the adhesive 60b on the outdoor side is provided across the outdoor facing surface of the structural opening frame 16 and the outdoor facing surface of the frame body 18, covering the outdoor boundary 68, but the same effect can be obtained even if part or all of the adhesive 60b is provided between the opposing surfaces 82, 82. In other words, it is sufficient that the adhesive 60b is provided at least in one of the areas between the opposing surfaces 82, 82 of the structural opening frame 16 and the frame body 18 and in the area covering the outdoor boundary 68.
