Description
本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置Kは、図21に示すように、車両に配設されて任意にエンジンEの駆動力をミッションMを介して駆動輪T側へ伝達し又は遮断するためのもので、図1~17に示すように、車両のエンジンEの駆動力で回転する入力ギア1(入力部材)が形成されたクラッチハウジング2と、ミッションMに接続された出力シャフト3(出力部材)と、クラッチ部材(第1クラッチ部材4a及び第2クラッチ部材4b)と、プレッシャ部材5と、複数の駆動側クラッチ板6及び複数の被動側クラッチ板7と、ウェイト部材10を具備した遠心クラッチ手段9と、補助クラッチ板17とを有して構成されている。

Claims (6)
- 車両のエンジンの駆動力で回転する入力部材と共に回転し、複数の駆動側クラッチ板が取り付けられたクラッチハウジングに収容されるクラッチ部材であって、前記駆動側クラッチ板と交互に形成された複数の被動側クラッチ板が取り付けられるとともに、車両の車輪を回転させ得る出力部材と連結されたクラッチ部材と、
前記駆動側クラッチ板と前記被動側クラッチ板とを圧接させて前記エンジンの駆動力を前記車輪に伝達可能な状態とする作動位置と、前記駆動側クラッチ板と前記被動側クラッチ板との圧接力を解放させて前記エンジンの駆動力が前記車輪に伝達されるのを遮断し得る非作動位置との間で移動可能なプレッシャ部材と、
前記クラッチハウジングの回転に伴う遠心力により内径側位置から外径側位置に移動可能とされたウェイト部材を具備し、前記ウェイト部材が前記外径側位置にあるとき前記駆動側クラッチ板と前記被動側クラッチ板とを圧接させて前記エンジンの駆動力を前記車輪に伝達可能な状態とするとともに、前記ウェイト部材が前記内径側位置にあるとき前記駆動側クラッチ板と前記被動側クラッチ板との圧接力を解放させて前記エンジンの駆動力が前記車輪に伝達されるのを遮断し得る遠心クラッチ手段と、
を具備した動力伝達装置であって、
前記遠心クラッチ手段は、
前記ウェイト部材を前記内径側位置と前記外径側位置との間で移動可能に保持する保持部材と、
前記ウェイト部材が前記内径側位置から前記外径側位置に移動することにより前記駆動側クラッチ板及び前記被動側クラッチ板の積層方向に移動して前記駆動側クラッチ板と前記被動側クラッチ板とを圧接させる圧接部材と、
前記ウェイト部材を前記外径側位置から前記内径側位置に向かって付勢する付勢部材と、を有し、
前記ウェイト部材は、前記保持部材の周方向に複数形成された収容部に収容されて放射状方向に移動可能とされ、
前記ウェイト部材には、前記出力部材の軸方向における一側面に、前記出力部材の軸方向に開口する複数の凹部が形成され、
前記付勢部材は、前記凹部内において径方向に延在し、
前記付勢部材の内径側の端部は、前記凹部の径方向内側に形成された端部壁面に当接し、
前記付勢部材の外径側の端部は、前記収容部の内周壁面に当接する、動力伝達装置。 - 前記凹部は、前記ウェイト部材の前記周方向における中心線であって径方向に延びる中心線の両側に設けられている、請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記ウェイト部材に形成された貫通孔の一方の開口から一部を突出させて前記圧接部材の転動面に接触して転動可能とされた第1球状部材及び前記ウェイト部材に形成された前記貫通孔の他方の開口から一部を突出させて前記保持部材の転動面に接触して転動可能とされた第2球状部材は、それぞれ前記保持部材の周方向に複数設けられている、請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記凹部は、前記保持部材の周方向に複数設けられた前記第2球状部材に挟まれた位置に設けられている、請求項3に記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記遠心クラッチ手段は、前記ウェイト部材における前記出力部材の軸方向の一方の面に開口しかつ周方向に複数形成された貫通孔の開口から一部を突出させて前記保持部材の転動面に接触して転動可能とされた球状部材を有し、
前記凹部は、複数の前記貫通孔に挟まれた部分に設けられている、請求項1記載の動力伝達装置。 - 前記端部壁面は、前記ウェイト部材の外径側の端面よりも内径側の端面に近接している、請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置。
