Hereinafter, the home appliance system, terminal device, and program of the embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the same reference numerals are used for components having the same or similar functions. Duplicate descriptions of those components may be omitted. The server 200 is a management server that manages the home appliance 100. The server 200 is composed of one or more server devices (e.g., cloud servers). The server 200 may be referred to as a "server system." The server 200 is capable of communicating with the home appliance 100 or the terminal device 300 via the network NW. The server 200 may include an information processing unit that performs edge computing or fog computing, such as an information processing unit included in a router in the network NW. The terminal device 300 is a terminal device used by a user U of the home appliance 100. The terminal device 300 is, for example, a mobile terminal device such as a smartphone or a tablet terminal device. However, the terminal device 300 is not limited to a mobile terminal device and may be a personal computer or the like. The terminal device 300 has a display device 301 including a display screen 301a capable of displaying various information, and an input device 302 capable of receiving input from the user U. The device registration unit 210, home appliance management unit 220, service provision unit 230, and business contact notification unit 240 are realized by one or more hardware processors, such as a CPU, mounted on the server 200 executing programs. However, some or all of these functional units may be realized by hardware such as an ASIC, PLD, or FPGA, or may be realized by a combination of software and hardware. These functional units may be provided separately in multiple server devices. Furthermore, one or more of these functional units may be provided in the terminal device 300 or home appliance 100 instead of the server 200.

<3.1 Device Registration Unit>
The device registration unit 210 performs device registration of the home appliance 100 in response to a request from the terminal device 300 (i.e., an application from the user U). Device registration means associating a specific user U with the home appliance 100 used by the user U (i.e., the home appliance 100 to be remotely controlled). In other words, the registration acceptance unit 310, the notification acquisition unit 320, the display control unit 330, and the operation acceptance unit 340 are software functional units included in the home appliance management application APP.

4.1 Registration Reception Section
The registration acceptance unit 310 accepts an application for device registration of the home appliance 100 based on an operation of the user U on the operation acceptance unit 340. Figure 8 shows an example in which "Air Conditioner 1", "Air Conditioner 2", "Refrigerator", "Oven Range", and "Washing Machine" are registered as multiple home appliances 100, and as a result, multiple first operation units B1 are displayed, including a first operation unit B1a for operating "Air Conditioner 1", a first operation unit B1b for operating "Air Conditioner 2", a first operation unit B1c for operating "Refrigerator", a first operation unit B1d for operating "Oven Range", and a first operation unit B1e for operating "Washing Machine".

FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an example of an individual operation screen 410 on which the home appliance 100 can be operated. On the individual operation screen 410, one or more operation units 411 on which the home appliance 100 can be operated or a display unit 412 on which the state of the home appliance 100 is displayed are displayed. For example, FIG. 9 shows an individual operation screen 410 corresponding to an air conditioner 1. The individual operation screen 410 corresponding to the air conditioner 1 is displayed by transitioning from the home screen DH when, for example, the first operation unit B1a corresponding to "air conditioner 1" on the home screen DH is operated (e.g., tapped). Returning to FIG. 8, the special display M1 displayed in the first function area R1 will now be described. Figure 8 shows an example in which special display M1 is displayed on the first operation unit B1c for operating the refrigerator 100B. The special display M1 is, for example, a ▲ mark displayed in a corner of the first operation unit B1. However, the shape and display position of the special display M1 are not limited to the above example. For example, the special display M1 may be displayed superimposed on the first operation unit B1, or may be displayed near the first operation unit B1.

<5.2 Second functional area>
Returning to Fig. 8, the second function area R2 will be described. The second function area R2 is a function area corresponding to home appliance related services. Figure 8 shows an example in which a "food management service," a "recipe service," and a "monitoring service" exist as home appliance-related services related to a registered home appliance 100 (refrigerator and oven range), and as a result, multiple second operation units B2 are displayed, including a second operation unit B2a for using the "food management service," a second operation unit B2b for using the "recipe service," and a second operation unit B2c for using the "monitoring service."

The "food management service" is a service related to the refrigerator 100B (or the oven range 100C) and is a service provided by the food management unit 231 of the server 200. By operating (e.g. tapping) the second operation unit B2b, an individual operation screen in which the "recipe service" can be used is transitioned from the home screen DH and displayed.

The "monitoring service" is, for example, a service related to refrigerator 100B, and is a service provided by monitoring service providing unit 233 of server 200. Second operation unit B2c corresponding to the "monitoring service" is added when refrigerator 100B is registered as a device. By operating (e.g. tapping) second operation unit B2c, various settings related to the "monitoring service" are possible, and an individual operation screen that can display the monitoring history (e.g., the opening and closing of refrigerator 100B's door can be displayed in timeline format) is displayed by transitioning from home screen DH.

<5.3 Third functional area>
Next, the third function area R3 will be described. The third function area R3 is a function area corresponding to a "reference information service." The "reference information service" is a service provided by the reference information providing unit 234 of the server 200. <7. Other information regarding notifications>
In this embodiment, when the home appliance management application APP is activated and a notification related to the home appliance 100, a notification related to a home appliance-related service, a system notification, or a contact notification is received as a new notification, the display control unit 330 displays a pop-up notification indicating that the notification has been received on the currently displayed screen. Also, when the home appliance management application APP is not activated and a notification related to the home appliance 100, a notification related to a home appliance-related service, a system notification, or a contact notification is received as a new notification, the operating system or another program installed in the terminal device 300 displays a push notification indicating that the notification has been received.

In this embodiment, the display control unit 330 arranges multiple notifications acquired by the notification acquisition unit 320 in chronological order on the first display unit S1 or the second display unit S2. That is, the display control unit 330 arranges and displays multiple notifications acquired by the notification acquisition unit 320 as a history list L. Then, when the upper limit of the history list L (e.g., 30 notifications) is reached, the display control unit 330 deletes the oldest notification from the first display unit S1 or the second display unit S2 (i.e., deletes it from the history list L) each time a new notification is acquired thereafter.

In addition, in this embodiment, for notifications that are in an unread state, the display control unit 330 makes the text of the unread notification bold and displays a special display M2 indicating that the notification is in an unread state as part of the notification. These modified examples will be described in the third embodiment.

<8. Processing flow>
Fig. 17 is a flowchart showing an example of a process flow. For ease of explanation, in Fig. 17, notifications related to the home appliance 100 or notifications related to home appliance-related services, and system notifications are collectively referred to as "home appliance notifications."

First, the notification acquisition unit 320 acquires a notification from the server 200 (S101). The notification acquisition unit 320 stores the acquired notification in the notification accumulation information 382. Next, the display control unit 330 classifies the acquired notification by filtering based on the notification accumulation information 382 as either a "home appliance notification" or an "administrative office notification" (S102).

If the acquired notification is a notification about the home appliance 100, a notification about a home appliance-related service, or a system notification, the display control unit 330 classifies the notification as a "home appliance notification" (S103). When the first display unit S1 is displayed based on the operation of the user U, the display control unit 330 causes the first display unit S1 to display the notification classified as a "home appliance notification."

On the other hand, if the acquired notification is an administrative office notification, the display control unit 330 classifies it as an "administrative office notification" (S104). When the second display unit S2 is displayed based on the operation of the user U, the notification classified as an "administrative office notification" is displayed on the second display unit S2.

If the acquired notification is a "home appliance notification," the display control unit 330 accepts an input (selection) from the user U indicating which home appliance 100 or home appliance-related service notification to extract and display (S105). If the user U operates to select a specific home appliance 100 or a specific home appliance-related service, the display control unit 330 extracts the notification related to the selected specific home appliance 100 or specific home appliance-related service and displays it on the first display unit S1 (S106).

9. Advantages
As a first comparative example, a case where notifications regarding each home appliance and administrative contact notifications are displayed on different individual operation screens is considered. In this case, the user U needs to check the notifications on different screens, which may be inconvenient.

As a second comparative example, consider a case where notifications regarding each home appliance and administrative contact notifications are listed and displayed without distinguishing between types or contents. In this case, user U needs to find the notification he or she wants to check from among the many saved notifications, which may be inconvenient.

In this embodiment, the display control unit 330 can extract and display a notification N1 related to one of the multiple home appliances 100 from the notifications acquired by the notification acquisition unit 320. With this configuration, it is possible to more easily and reliably find the notification N1 related to the home appliance 100 that the user U wants to check. This can improve the convenience for the user U.

In this embodiment, when the operation receiving unit 340 receives an operation by the user U to select one home appliance 100 from among the multiple home appliances 100, the display control unit 330 extracts and displays notifications related to the one home appliance 100 from the notifications acquired by the notification acquiring unit 320. With this configuration, the user U can check notifications related to the multiple home appliances 100 and notifications related to home appliance-related services together, which is highly convenient.

In this embodiment, as the third display mode, the display control unit 330 extracts and displays notifications related to home appliance-related services from among the notifications acquired by the notification acquisition unit 320. With this configuration, notifications related to home appliance-related services that the user wants to check can be found more easily and reliably. This can further improve the convenience for the user U.

In this embodiment, the notification acquisition unit 320 acquires a contact notification from the server 200 that is different from notifications related to a specific home appliance or a specific service. Second Embodiment
Next, a second embodiment will be described. The second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that a special display indicating a change in the state of the home appliance 100 is displayed instead of/in addition to the special display M1 indicating a malfunction. Note that the configuration other than that described below is the same as that of the first embodiment.

Fig. 18 is a diagram showing an example of the display content displayed on the terminal device 300 of the second embodiment. In this embodiment, when the display control unit 330 displays the first operation unit B1 for operating the home appliance 100, and a notification indicating a predetermined state or a predetermined state change is acquired for a home appliance 100, the display control unit 330 displays a special display M10 indicating the presence of the predetermined state or the predetermined state change in association with the first operation unit B1 corresponding to the home appliance 100 in which the predetermined state or the predetermined state change exists, among the multiple first operation units B1.

The priority in the priority information 384 may be set for each type of home appliance 100 or each type of home appliance-related service. That is, notifications related to a specific home appliance 100 or notifications related to a specific home appliance service may be given priority.

This configuration can reduce the possibility that the user U will overlook important notifications. This can further improve convenience.
