作業装置(6,15)を装備し、操作席(21)の近くに操作部(38,39,42)を備える操作パネル(35)を設けた作業車両において、該操作パネル(35)が作業を行なう作業状態とメンテナンスを行なう非作業状態に切換可能であり、操作パネル(35)を非作業状態としたときに、制御装置が機体の作動を停止させると共に、操作部(38,39,42)の一部または全ての操作を無効とし、
操作パネル(35)を後部が枢支軸(34)にて枢支されて前部が上方に向けて回動して起立した非作業状態に開く構成とし、作業状態と非作業状態の判定を枢支軸(34)側に設けたスイッチや回動角度の検出、または、操作パネル(35)前側に設けたスイッチや前側が固定部に接してボディアースしたことの検出で行ない、
操作パネル(35)の前側に切換え操作及び把持に用いる把持グリップ(36)を操作パネル(35)よりも上方に向けて突出して設け、該把持グリップ(36)が主変速レバー(38)よりも機体前側に位置し、主変速レバー(38)の上下高さ内に収まることを特徴とする作業車両。
