Description

The present invention relates to a care equipment mechanism for disabled people that can be used by caregivers to carry disabled people from infants to elementary school age, to help them take a bath, or to easily transport them with their hands free.

Conventionally, tools that caregivers use when carrying or caring for disabled people from infants to elementary school age include a basket-shaped storage device for disabled people that is designed to hold the disabled person and has a handle that is easy for the caregiver to grasp, and a baby carrier that is folded up like a bellows and spread out using a shoulder strap to wrap the disabled person and hold them in front of the caregiver's body (see Patent Document 1).

The baby carrier described in Patent Document 1 is constructed by folding a cloth body into an accordion-like shape, unfolding it to encase the disabled person's body, and looping the band-like shoulder straps that extend vertically from the center of the body, one at a time, with connecting members at each end, so that the straps can be slung over the caregiver's shoulders and hold the disabled person against the caregiver's body.

As a result, the baby carrier supports the disabled person with a single shoulder strap, and it is difficult for the caregiver to constantly support the disabled person with the shoulder strap due to the burden on the caregiver and the strength of the shoulder strap, so the caregiver must support the lower part of the disabled person's body with both hands as an auxiliary measure.

However, in the event of an emergency disaster or other such incident where a disabled person needs to be moved suddenly, a situation may arise where the caregiver must carry the disabled person along with care tools and daily necessities. In such a situation, the caregiver must evacuate while carrying various care tools in both hands while carrying the disabled person.

To achieve this, there is a need for equipment that allows the caregiver to evacuate while holding a disabled person with their hands free and securely, but in reality there is no equipment that allows the caregiver to easily, safely and securely perform various actions with their hands free while holding a disabled person, and there is a need for the development of care equipment that allows the caregiver to evacuate while safely protecting the disabled person without putting undue strain on their body.

The present invention was made in consideration of these circumstances, and solves the above problem by comprising a support body for disabled persons that has a roughly U-shaped cross section, is roughly the length of the disabled person's body, and is configured to be positioned in front of the caregiver's body, a caregiver attachment fixture that allows the support body for disabled persons to be attached near the waist of the disabled person in order to position and fix the support body for disabled persons in front of the caregiver's body, and a connecting mechanism that connects the support body for disabled persons and the caregiver attachment fixture together.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a caregiving device mechanism for disabled persons, which is constructed with a roughly U-shaped cross section, roughly the length of the disabled person's body, and is configured to be positioned in front of the caregiver's body, a caregiver attachment device that is attached near the disabled person's waist to place and fix the disabled person attachment device in front of the caregiver's body, and a connecting mechanism that connects the disabled person attachment device and the caregiver attachment device together, and the caregiver attachment device is constructed with a wrapping band that is configured to be wrapped around the caregiver's waist and fixed, the disabled person attachment device is constructed with a head receiving part formed at the starting end on which the disabled person's head is placed and a crotch split part formed at the end to support the disabled person's crotch, and the connecting mechanism is constructed with left and right rear bands and left and right front bands, etc.

The caregiver attachment fixture is also made up of a head projection hole formed in the cover sheet, which is folded in half front and back and is worn over the head, so that the caregiver's head can project from the folded part, left and right rear bands that extend along the rear surface from the folded part, and a relay ring that branches the left and right rear bands to the left and right on the back of the cover sheet of the caregiver attachment fixture.

Another feature is that the left and right rear bands of the bifold caregiver attachment fixture are branched to the left and right via a relay ring, and one of the front bands extending from the left and right shoulders is detachably connected to the end of the disabled person support body, and the other to the beginning of the disabled person support body.

Another feature is that the support body for the disabled person and the fixing device for the caregiver are mainly made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material, which allows the disabled person and the caregiver to take a bath together.

According to the invention of claim 1, the disabled person support body has a roughly U-shaped cross section, with a head support at the beginning and a crotch part at the end that is roughly the length of the disabled person's body, and the caregiver-worn fastener is configured with a wrap-around band that is configured to be wrapped around the caregiver's waist and fixed. This allows the caregiver to move while securely holding the disabled person, making it possible to evacuate with the disabled person in an emergency, and since the caregiver can hold the disabled person with their free hands and move around while bringing the necessary equipment with them, it has the effect of allowing the disabled person to be evacuated safely and reliably.

Furthermore, the caregiver-worn fastening device is a wrap-around band that is designed to be wrapped around the caregiver's waist, which securely holds the disabled person support body at the caregiver's waist, allowing the caregiver to easily evacuate with their hands free without placing excessive strain on their body.

According to the invention of claim 1 , the caregiver wearing fixture comprises a head projection hole formed in the covering sheet so that the covering sheet is folded in half front and back and the covering sheet is put on the head and the caregiver's head projects from the folded part, left and right rear bands extending along the rear surface from the folded part, and a relay ring for branching the left and right rear bands to the left and right on the back surface of the covering sheet of the caregiver wearing fixture, one of the left and right rear bands branches to the left and right via the relay ring, and one of the left and right ends is detachably connected to the end part of the disabled person support body along the caregiver's waist. In addition, the other left and right ends of the left and right rear bands are removably connected to the starting end of the disabled person support body along the caregiver's waist via an intermediate ring, so that the cover sheet can be securely attached and held on the caregiver's upper body, and since the left and right rear bands are branched at the back of the cover sheet by the intermediate ring and the starting and ending ends of the bands are connected to the starting and ending ends of the disabled person support body, the disabled person support body on which the entire weight of the disabled person is placed is securely supported by each band, resulting in stable transportation and care of the disabled person.

According to the invention of claim 2 , the left and right rear bands extend from the left and right shoulders via relay rings of the folded caregiver wearing fixing device, and the left and right front bands are made into left and right bands, one of which is removably connected to the upper end of the disabled person support body, and the other is connected to the upper start of the disabled person support body.As a result, since the left and right front bands extend from the left and right shoulders of the folded cover sheet and are connected to the disabled person support body, the entire weight of the disabled person support body can be supported by the shoulders of the cover sheet, i.e., the left and right shoulders of the caregiver and the left and right rear bands and the caregiver's waist, resulting in the effect that the weight can be supported stably by the caregiver's entire body without placing a large weight burden on the caregiver.

According to the invention of claim 4, the support body for the disabled person and the fixing device for the caregiver are mainly made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material, so that the caregiver can take a bath together with the disabled person during care. This not only allows the disabled person to be transported or held in their arms, but also allows the caregiver to bathe together with the disabled person, which is said to be the most stressful part of caring for the disabled, while having physical contact with the caregiver. This allows the disabled person to gain trust and security in the caregiver, which is the greatest goal of the care business.

The gist of this invention is that it is composed of a disabled person support body that has a roughly U-shaped cross section, is roughly the length of the disabled person's body, and is configured to be positioned in front of the caregiver's body, a caregiver attachment device that is attached near the disabled person's waist to position and fix the disabled person support body in front of the caregiver's body, and a connecting mechanism that connects the disabled person support body and the caregiver attachment device together, and the caregiver attachment device is composed of a wrapping band that is configured to be wrapped around the caregiver's waist and fixed, the disabled person support body is composed of a head support part formed at the starting end on which the disabled person's head is placed and a crotch split part formed at the end to support the disabled person's crotch, and the connecting mechanism part is composed of left and right rear bands and left and right front bands, etc.

The caregiver-worn fixture is also characterized by being made up of a head projection hole formed in the folded part to insert the caregiver's head, left and right rear bands extending from the folded part along the back, and an intermediate ring for branching the left and right rear bands to the left and right on the back of the caregiver-worn fixture, one of the left and right rear bands branching left and right via the intermediate ring and its end is detachably connected to the end of the disabled person support body, while the other end of the left and right rear bands is detachably connected to the start of the disabled person support body via the intermediate ring.

Another feature is that the left and right rear bands extend from the left and right shoulders via intermediate rings on the bifold caregiver-worn fixture, forming the left and right front bands, one of which is detachably connected to the upper end of the handicapped person support body, and the other is detachably connected to the upper start of the handicapped person support body.

Another feature is that the support body for the disabled person and the fixing device for the caregiver are mainly made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material, which allows the disabled person and the caregiver to take a bath together.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of a care device mechanism for disabled people according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 to 3 are explanatory diagrams of the handicapped person support body of the present invention, showing the unfolded state, the assembled state, and the operating state of the crotch part, respectively.

The care equipment mechanism M for disabled persons is mainly composed of a disabled person support body 1 for holding the disabled person, a caregiver wearing fixture 2 for the caregiver to support the disabled person support body 1, and a connecting mechanism part 3 for connecting the disabled person support body 1 and the caregiver wearing fixture 2.
The structure and function of each member will be described in detail below.

- Disabled person support body As shown in Figure 1, the disabled person support body 1 is composed of a head support portion 11 formed at the starting end for placing the head of a disabled person, a crotch slit portion 12 formed at the end end for supporting the crotch of the disabled person, and left and right wall portions 13 formed on the left and right edges of the head support body 1 to prevent the disabled person from falling off the sides of the disabled person support body 1.

The head receiving part 11 is made up of a head receiving part main body 111, which is roughly rectangular with one side bulging out in an arc, a reinforcing plate 112 attached to the surface of the head receiving part main body 111, three reinforcing plate fixing bands 113 that span the head receiving part main body 111, a front connecting band 115a connected to one of the reinforcing plate fixing bands 113 via a connecting metal fitting 114, front connecting bands 115b extending from the left and right sides near the starting end of the head receiving part main body 111, and a rear band connecting part 116 provided below the front connecting band 115b.

The head support body 111 is made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material and is formed into a roughly rectangular shape, with one of the short sides of the roughly rectangular shape forming the starting end, and bulging out in an arc shape to support the head of the disabled person. The longitudinal length of the roughly rectangular shape is roughly the same as the body length of the disabled person.

The reinforcing plate 112 is made of flexible plastic and is similar in shape to the head receiving body 111 but slightly smaller, with multiple holes drilled into it to increase the flexibility of the plastic plate.

The reinforcing plate 112 is attached to the surface of the head support body 111, i.e., the outer surface that does not come into contact with the disabled person, by a reinforcing plate fixing band 113.

The reinforcing plate 112 attached to the head receiving body 111 not only reinforces the head receiving body 111, but also prevents the head receiving body 111 from deforming due to the weight of the disabled person, resulting in an uneven load.

The reinforcing plate fixing band 113 is made of chemical fiber materials with high tensile strength, such as nylon, carbon fiber, or glass fiber, and is formed so that three band members are horizontally arranged in the short direction at a specified interval downward from approximately the center of the head receiving body 111 in the longitudinal direction.

The reinforcing plate fixing band 113 can be attached so that the reinforcing plate 112 is sandwiched between the head receiving portion main body 111 and the band 113.

The front connecting band 115a is made of a synthetic fiber material with high tensile strength, just like the reinforcing plate fixing bands 113, and is connected to one of the reinforcing plate fixing bands 113 via a connecting fitting 114.

The front connecting band 115a is intended to connect to either the left or right front band 312 of the connecting mechanism 3, which connects the disabled person support body 1 to the caregiver-worn fixture 2, which will be described later.

The front connecting band 115a has a receiving bracket at the tip for receiving the left and right front bands 312, and an adjustment tool for length adjustment at the middle.

The front connecting band 115b is a band member that extends from the left and right sides near the arc-shaped bulging starting end of the head receiving body 111, and is made of a synthetic fiber material with high tensile strength.

The front connecting band 115b is for connecting to the other of the front connecting bands 115a of the left and right front bands 312 of the connecting mechanism part 3 for connecting the disabled person support body 1 to the caregiver wearing fixture 2 described later.

The front connecting band 115b is configured so that the left and right band members support the vicinity of the starting end of the head support body 111, i.e., the vicinity of the disabled person's head, and can serve to hold the disabled person more stably.

The front connecting band 115b has a receiving bracket at the tip for receiving the left and right front bands 312, and an adjustment tool for length adjustment at the middle.

The rear band connectors 116 are made of a short band member made of synthetic fiber material and a ring-shaped metal fitting attached to the tip of the band, and are provided on the left and right below the front connector band 115b.

The rear band connection part 116 is for connecting to one of the left and right rear bands 311 of the connecting mechanism part 3 for connecting the disabled person support body 1 to the caregiver wearing fixture 2, which will be described later.

The crotch split 12 comprises a crotch split main body 121 formed in an approximately rectangular shape so as to extend downward from the head receiving body 111, an adhesive formation portion 122 extending from the left and right edges of the crotch split main body 121 , a rear band connecting portion 123 disposed horizontally below the crotch split main body 121, and a front connecting band 124 disposed below the crotch split main body 121 and extending downward.

The crotch part body 121 is made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material and is formed in a roughly rectangular shape extending from the head receiving part body 111, and supports the buttocks and back of the thighs of the disabled person.

The adhesive forming portion 122 extends from the left and right edges of the crotch part body 121 and is formed into a roughly rectangular shape using a mesh-like synthetic resin material.

The adhesive forming portion 122 also has hook-and-loop fasteners 122a on each surface, i.e., on the entire surface that does not come into contact with the disabled person, and by adhering each to hook-and-loop fasteners 131 affixed to the left and right wall portions 13 described below, the disabled person support body 1 can be assembled into a basket shape.

The rear band connection part 123 is a band member made of a synthetic fiber material with high tensile strength that is placed horizontally below the crotch split main body 121, and has metal fittings on both ends to enable connection to the left and right rear bands 311 of the connection mechanism part 3 that connects the disabled person support body 1 to the caregiver wearing fixture 2 (described later).

The front connecting band 124 is a band member made of a synthetic fiber material with high tensile strength that is inserted from the front side into the through hole 124a formed near the lower center of the crotch split body 121 and extends downward from the back side.

The lower end of the front connecting band 124 has metal fittings that allow it to be connected to the left and right front bands 312 of the connecting mechanism part 3 for connecting the disabled person support body 1 to the caregiver wearing fixture 2, which will be described later, and has an adjustment device in the middle for adjusting the length.

The left and right walls 13 are formed by extending a mesh-like synthetic resin material from the left and right edges of the head receiving part 11 in a roughly triangular shape.

The lower back side of the left and right walls 13, i.e., the surface that comes into contact with the disabled person near the crotch opening 12, has a hook-and-loop fastener 131.

By attaching the hook-and-loop fasteners 131 to the hook-and-loop fasteners 122a attached to the adhesive forming portion 122 of the crotch slit 12, the handicapped support body 1 can be assembled into a basket shape as shown in Figure 2.

Whether the hook-and-loop fastener 131 or the hook-and-loop fastener 122a of the adhesive forming portion 122 is male or female may be used, but since the hook-and-loop fastener 131 on the left and right wall portions 13 is the surface that comes into contact with the disabled person as shown in Figure 2, it is preferable to use the female side.

The assembled support body 1 for the disabled has a roughly U-shaped cross section and a length roughly equivalent to the body length of a disabled person in the lower grades, so that it can support the disabled person in a wraparound manner.

The crotch gap 12 can be raised to close the roughly U-shaped cross section of the disabled person support body 1, allowing the crotch gap body 121 to support the buttocks and backs of the upper thighs of the disabled person.

The front connecting band 124 is positioned in the center of the crotch gap 12, forming left and right spaces above the crotch gap 12. The left and right legs of the disabled person can protrude outward from the disabled person support body 1 through the formed spaces.

In addition, the adhesive forming portion 122 is configured to have hook-and-loop fasteners 122a on the entire surface, making it possible to adjust the angle at which the crotch split 12 occurs.

The angle can be adjusted to accommodate changes in the thickness of the legs protruding from the space above the crotch 12, and the angle of the disabled person's hip joints can be periodically changed to reduce fatigue.

By configuring the disabled person support body 1 as described above, it is possible for the disabled person to assume a posture similar to that used in the usual way when caring for a disabled person, that is, when the disabled person lies on his/her back and the caregiver holds him/her up in front of his/her body.

The disabled person can feel at ease knowing that they can still see the caregiver, and the weight is supported by the entire disabled person support body 1, which has the added benefit of preventing uneven weight distribution.

The caregiver can also hold the disabled person support body 1 fixed to the front of the body using the caregiver wearing fixture 2 and connecting mechanism 3 described below, which reduces the weight burden on the caregiver and allows them to always visually check on the disabled person, making it easier to notice changes in the care.

4 shows the caregiver-worn fixture in an unfolded state, and FIGS. 5 and 6 show the caregiver-worn fixture in a worn state.

The caregiver-worn fixture 2 is composed of a head projection hole 21 formed for inserting the caregiver's head as shown in FIG. 4, a relay ring 22 for branching the left and right rear bands 311 (described later) to the left and right on the back of the caregiver-worn fixture 2, and a band portion 23 configured to wrap the caregiver-worn fixture 2 around the waist of the caregiver to secure it.

The caregiver-worn fixture 2 is made of a mesh sheet of synthetic resin material, and the sheet is folded in half, with a head projection hole 21 drilled into the folded part so that the caregiver's head can be inserted through it.

As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the caregiver puts on the caregiver-worn fixture 2 by putting it over their head from above and protruding their head from the head protruding hole 21.

The relay ring 22 is a ring-shaped metal fitting that is fixed at the top and bottom near the waist when worn on the back of the caregiver, as shown in Figures 4 and 6.

The relay ring 22 is used to relay the connecting mechanism part 3 described below and change the orientation of each band member.

As shown in FIG. 4, the band portion 23 is a band member that extends from both the left and right ends of the rear side of the caregiver-worn fixture 2 and has a hook-and-loop fastener on the back side.

A roughly rectangular band receiving portion 24 is formed on the abdomen of the caregiver-worn fastener 2, and the surface of the band receiving portion 24 that mates with the hook-and-loop fastener of the band portion 23 is affixed to one side.

With the above configuration, the caregiver can securely attach and fix the caregiver-worn fastener 2 to the body by wrapping the band portion 23 around the front of the body from behind and attaching it to the band receiving portion 24 on the abdomen, as shown in Figure 5.

- Connecting mechanism Figure 7 shows the unfolded state of the caregiver-worn fixture 2 with the connecting mechanism 3 attached, and Figure 8 shows the state in which the disabled person support body 1 and the caregiver-worn fixture 2 are connected by the connecting mechanism 3 .

The connecting mechanism 3 consists of a pair of connecting bands 31 on the left and right sides that are attached to the caregiver-worn fixture 2 as shown in FIG. 7.

The connecting band 31 connects the disabled person support body 1 and the caregiver-worn fixture 2 and has the function of supporting the weight of the disabled person, so it is made of chemical fiber materials with high tensile strength, such as nylon, carbon fiber, and glass fiber.

As shown in FIG. 7, the connecting band 31 is a pair of band members that are attached to the left and right edges of the rear side of the caregiver-worn fixture 2, that is, from both sides of the caregiver to the center of the waist when worn.

As mentioned above, there is a relay ring 22 in the center of the waist of the caregiver-worn fixture 2, and the connecting band 31 is inserted through the relay ring 22 and its orientation is changed to an upward direction.

The connecting bands 31, whose orientation has been changed, are attached to the left and right sides of the head projection hole 21 of the caregiver-worn fixture 2.

In other words, when the caregiver-worn fastener 2 is worn, the connecting band 31 that has been reoriented is in a state in which its ends hang down from both shoulders.

When the connecting band 31 is attached, the band members located on the back of the caregiver are the left and right rear bands 311, and the parts hanging down from the caregiver's shoulders are the left and right front bands 312.

The left and right rear bands 311 have rear band connectors 311a at their ends.

The rear band connector 311a connects either the left or right side to the rear band connector 116 of the head receiving portion 11, and the other side to the rear band connector 123 of the crotch split portion 12.

Specifically, when wearing the device so that the head of the disabled person is positioned to the front right of the caregiver, the rear band connector 311a on the left side of the caregiver should be connected to the metal fitting provided on the rear band connector 116 on the right side of the head receiving part 11, and the rear band connector 311a on the right side of the caregiver should be inserted through the right metal fitting provided on the rear band connector 123 of the crotch part 12 and then connected to the left metal fitting.

The left and right front bands 312 have front band connectors 312a at their ends.

The front band connector 312a connects the left or right side to the front connecting band 115a of the head receiving part 11 and the front connecting band 124 of the crotch part 12, and the other side to the front connecting band 115b of the head receiving part 11.

Specifically, when wearing the seat so that the head of the disabled person is positioned to the front right of the caregiver, the front band connector 312a on the caregiver's right shoulder should be connected to the front connecting band 115a of the head receiving part 11 and the front connecting band 124 of the crotch part 12, and the front band connector 312a on the caregiver's left shoulder should be connected to both front connecting bands 115b of the head receiving part 11.

The connecting mechanism 3 supports the disabled person support body 1 from the caregiver's waist with the left and right rear bands 311, and the weight of the disabled person support body 1 can be supported by the caregiver's shoulders with the left and right front bands 312.

The above-mentioned connection structure allows the disabled person to be securely held in front of the caregiver's body, and the weight can be supported by both shoulders and the waist, reducing the burden on the caregiver.

In addition, the disabled person support body 1 is supported from above by four bands, and the left and right rear bands 311 prevent the disabled person support body 1 from moving forward and backward, so that the disabled person is always stable and can be held without the caregiver's hands.

In other words, the caregiver has free hands while holding the disabled person, making care easier, and in the event of an emergency evacuation, the caregiver can carry care equipment and personal items in their hands.

In addition, most of the components of the care equipment mechanism M for the disabled are made of a mesh-like synthetic resin material that is water-resistant and can be used during bathing, which is the most difficult task in caregiving, thereby reducing the burden of caregiving.

Next, another embodiment of the nursing care tool mechanism M for the physically handicapped of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Figures 9 and 10 are schematic perspective views showing another embodiment of the nursing care tool mechanism M for the physically handicapped of the present invention.

The care equipment mechanism M for the disabled is mainly composed of a disabled person support body 1 for holding the disabled person, a caregiver wearing fixture 2 for the caregiver to support the disabled person support body 1, and a connecting mechanism part 3 for connecting the disabled person support body 1 and the caregiver wearing fixture 2.

The disabled person support body 1 is made entirely of mesh material and is composed of a head support part 11 formed at the beginning for placing the disabled person's head, a crotch opening part 12 formed at the end for supporting the disabled person's crotch, and left and right wall parts 13 formed on the left and right edges of the head support part to prevent the disabled person from falling off the sides of the disabled person support body 1.

The left and right walls 13 are also provided with shoulder straps 14 on the head receiving section 11 side and the crotch section 12 side, one end of which is detachably attached by a shoulder strap fastener 141.

Furthermore, outside the shoulder band fastener 141, there is a fastener 15 that pairs with the waist band fastener 321 described below.

The caregiver shoulder straps 14 are also configured to play a role similar to that of the left and right front straps 312 of the caregiver mounting fixture 2 and the connecting mechanism 3 described in the first embodiment.

In other words, as shown in Figures 9 and 10, by crossing the two caregiver shoulder straps 14, the structure is such that it is worn on the caregiver's body, like the cover sheet shape described in the first embodiment, and the part of the caregiver shoulder belt 14 that wraps around the front of the caregiver's body functions as the left and right front bands 312 that connect to the disabled person support body 1.

The waist connecting band 32 also functions in the same way as the left and right rear bands 311 described in the first embodiment.

In other words, just as the left and right rear bands 311 connect to the disabled person support body 1 to support it from behind, the waist connection bands 32 can connect to and support the disabled person support body 1 from the back of the caregiver's waist.

The waist connection bands 32 are made of a material with high tensile strength such as nylon, with one end of each being sewn integrally to the caregiver-worn fastener 2, and the other end of each being equipped with a waist band fastener 321.

When wearing the device, the caregiver first fastens the caregiver wearing fixture 2 to their own waist using the hook-and-loop fastener 251.

Then, wrap the caregiver's shoulder straps 14 of the disabled person support body 1 around the front of the body so that they cross over the back, and hold the disabled person support body 1 by lowering it from the shoulder to the front of the body using the shoulder strap fasteners 141.

Finally, the waist band fastener 321 of the waist connecting band 32, which is the connecting mechanism part 3, and the fastener 15 provided on the disabled person support body 1 that pairs with the waist band fastener 321, secure the disabled person support body 1 near the caregiver's waist.

The above-mentioned configuration allows the caregiver to hold the disabled person support body 1 housing the care-requiring person stably without having to use their hands by distributing the support body 1 around three points: the shoulders, back, and waist.

Furthermore, by simply making the caregiver wearing fixture 2 into a belt shape, it is easy to wear and can be quickly put on and used to hold the person in need of care even in an emergency.

In addition, the shoulder pads 142 reduce fatigue on the shoulders and back, which bear the greatest weight, making it possible to provide care for long periods of time.

In addition, the disabled person support body 1 has a symmetrical shape when unfolded, i.e., each fastening part is provided on both the left and right wall parts 13, so it can be connected to the caregiver's body in either the left or right direction.

In another embodiment, a removable cushioning material made of urethane, cotton, etc. could be provided on the back side of the disabled person support body 1, i.e., the surface that comes into contact with the disabled person.
