Conventionally, a payment machine for settling parking fees is installed in, for example, hourly parking lots provided in towns, etc. A user of the parking lot can leave his/her car by paying the parking fee using the payment machine.
Thus, parking lots have spaces for installing payment machines. Some parking lot owners want to make effective use of the space in which the payment machines are installed. For example, vending machines equipped with a payment function have been disclosed (for example, Patent Document 1).

The settlement and vending management system 100 shown in FIG. 1 is a system for implementing various functions of a settlement and vending device 1 installed in a parking lot 9.
The settlement and sales management system 100 includes a settlement and sales device 1, a camera 5, a management server 6, a settlement server 7, and a mobile terminal 8. The settlement and sales management system 100 performs processing for settling fees (parking fees) related to the use of a parking lot 9 and for selling (removing) goods (items) at the settlement and sales device 1 in response to operations on the settlement and sales device 1 by a user P who uses the settlement and sales device 1.

The settlement and sales device 1, the camera 5, the management server 6, and the payment server 7 are communicatively connected via a communication network such as the Internet. The communication network may be something other than the Internet, and may be wired or wireless. The payment server 7 is communicatively connected to the management server 6 and the mobile terminal 8 via the communication network.

The parking lot 9 is equipped with a settlement sales device 1 and a camera 5. The management server 6 and the settlement server 7 are provided in separate locations as long as they are communicably connected to the settlement sales device 1. The example in FIG. 1 shows one parking lot 9, but parking lots 9 in various locations are similarly equipped with a settlement sales device 1 and a camera 5. Depending on the size and shape of the parking lot 9, the parking lot 9 may be equipped with multiple cameras 5 so that the entire parking lot 9 can be photographed.

<Settlement and sales device 1>
The settlement and vending device 1 is, for example, a device provided near an entrance/exit 9a of a parking lot 9. The settlement and vending device 1 has a settlement function (first function) of parking fees related to use of the parking lot 9 and a sales function (second function).
The settlement and vending machine 1 shown in FIG. 2 includes a housing 32, a display 34, a sensor 35, an input device 36, a cash insertion slot 37, a change withdrawal slot 38, a product case 41, and a product withdrawal slot 42 (removal slot).

The housing 32 is a case for the settlement and sales device 1 .
The display 34 is a display device such as a liquid crystal display (LCD). The display 34 is disposed in a position that is visible to the user P. Before the user P uses the display 34, for example, advertisements or the like may be displayed on the display 34.
The sensor 35 is a detection device for detecting that the user P is standing in front of the settlement and vending device 1. The sensor 35 may be, for example, a camera.
The input device 36 is disposed at a height near the waist of the user P so that the user P can easily operate it, and accepts operation input by the hands of the user P. The input device 36 may be, for example, a device such as a numeric keypad having buttons numbered from 0 to 9.

The cash slot 37 is used to insert cash for settling parking fees and paying for purchasing goods. The cash slot 37 includes a bill slot 37a and a coin slot 37b. For example, an optical sensor (not shown) for detecting inserted coins is provided inside the coin slot 37b. When a coin is inserted into the coin slot 37b and the optical sensor detects the coin, a detection signal is output to the control unit 10 (described later), and the control unit 10 accepts the fee.
The change outlet 38 is an outlet for dispensing change to the outside when there is change in a cash payment.

The product case 41 is a case in which products to be sold are displayed. In the example shown in Fig. 2, the product case 41 is made of glass, so that the user P can visually check the products inside.
The product outlet 42 is an outlet for dispensing products to the outside. The product outlet 42 is disposed on the lower side of the housing 32 in the Z direction and below the product case 41 so that the user P can squat down to take out the products.

Next, the function of the settlement and sales device 1 will be described.
The settlement and vending machine 1 shown in FIG. 3 includes a control unit 10, a storage unit 30, a communication IF (interface) 39, and a stocker unit 45, in addition to the display 34 and the like.
The control unit 10 is a central processing unit (CPU) that controls the entire settlement and sales device 1. The control unit 10 appropriately reads and executes an operating system (OS) and application programs stored in the storage unit 30, thereby cooperating with the above-mentioned hardware and executing various functions.

The control unit 10 includes a settlement processing unit 11, a sales processing unit 17, a fee output unit 21 (fee output means), a payment method acceptance unit 22, a fee transmission unit 23 (fee transmission means), a code reception processing unit 24 (code reception means, code output means), and a payment completion processing unit 25 (payment completion processing means).

The settlement processing unit 11 performs processing related to the settlement of parking fees for use of the parking lot 9 .
The settlement processing unit 11 includes a settlement request receiving unit 12, an image receiving processing unit 13 (image receiving means, image output means), an operation receiving processing unit 14 (end sending means), and a parking fee acquisition unit 15 (first fee acquisition means, first fee receiving means).
The payment request receiving unit 12 receives a payment request for use of the parking lot 9 by the user P through operation of the input device 36. The payment request includes, for example, a number specifying the parking space in which the vehicle is parked (hereinafter, also referred to as a parking space number).

The image reception processing unit 13 receives from the camera 5 an image (captured image) of a vehicle compartment (designated parking space) in the parking lot 9 corresponding to the payment request accepted by the payment request acceptance unit 12 .
The operation reception processing unit 14 receives a confirmation result from a confirmation operation performed by the user P via the input device 36. Then, the operation reception processing unit 14 transmits a notification (use end notification) regarding the end of use of the parking space (hereinafter also referred to as a vehicle compartment) to the management server 6 in accordance with the confirmation result.
The parking fee acquisition unit 15 receives the parking fee (first fee) for the use of the vehicle space from the management server 6.

The sales processing unit 17 performs processing related to the sale of products.
The sales processing unit 17 includes a purchase request receiving unit 18 and a product price obtaining unit 19 (second price obtaining means).
The purchase request receiving unit 18 receives a take-out request for a purchased product by the user P operating the input device 36. The purchase request receiving unit 18 receives, for example, a product number corresponding to the product.
The product price acquisition unit 19 acquires the sales price (second price) of the product. For example, the price of the product is associated with the product number of the product and stored in advance in the storage unit 30 (described later), and the product price acquisition unit 19 can acquire the sales price related to the sale of the product by referring to the association in the storage unit 30.

Fee output unit 21 outputs the parking fee acquired by the processing of parking fee acquisition unit 15 and the sales fee acquired by the processing of product fee acquisition unit 19 to display 34. Here, when there is a parking fee and a sales fee, fee output unit 21 may output the total amount of all the fees in addition to the individual fees.
The payment method reception unit 22 receives a payment method for the payment of fees via the input device 36. Payment methods include, for example, payment by cash and electronic payment. Electronic payment includes, for example, a payment method that reads a two-dimensional code (code information). There are other types of electronic payment, such as those that use the charged amount, but in the following example, a method that reads a two-dimensional code will be described.

The fee transmission unit 23 transmits the fee output by the fee output unit 21 to the payment server 7 as the payment amount. If there are multiple fees, the fee transmission unit 23 may transmit each fee and the combined total amount, or may transmit only each fee. The fee transmission unit 23 may also transmit each fee in association with information about what the fee is (parking fee or sales fee).

The code reception processing unit 24 receives a two-dimensional code related to the payment amount from the payment server 7. Then, the code reception processing unit 24 outputs the received two-dimensional code to the display 34. The two-dimensional code is, for example, a QR code (registered trademark), and includes at least address information (connection information) specifying the location of the payment server 7 and information on the payment amount.
When the payment completion processing unit 25 receives information regarding payment completion corresponding to the two-dimensional code output by the code reception processing unit 24 from the payment server 7, if the payment is for use of a vehicle space, it allows the vehicle that has been used in the vehicle space to leave the parking lot, and if a product is a purchase, it controls, for example, the stocker unit 45 to discharge the product to the product removal outlet 42.

The storage unit 30 is a storage area such as a hard disk, a semiconductor memory device, etc. for storing programs, data, etc. required for the control unit 10 to execute various processes.

1 is installed in a position where it can capture images of each vehicle space in the parking lot 9. The camera 5 may constantly capture images and transmit them to the settlement vending device 1. <Management Server 6>
The management server 6 is a server that manages the parking status for each vehicle space in the parking lot 9. The management server 6 is provided and operated by, for example, a management outsourcing company that is entrusted with the management of the parking lot 9. The management server 6 manages the use status of the vehicle space, that is, entry and exit, as the parking status. More specifically, the management server 6 receives a notification regarding the start of use of the vehicle space, for example, from the settlement sales device 1. Here, the settlement sales device 1 may generate the notification regarding the start of use of the vehicle space by any method and transmit it to the management server 6. For example, the settlement sales device 1 may determine the start of use of the vehicle space from an image received via the camera 5 and transmit the notification regarding the start of use of the vehicle space to the management server 6. In addition, when the management server 6 receives a notification regarding the end of use of the vehicle space from the settlement sales device 1, it calculates the parking fee for the use of the vehicle space from the start time of use and the end time of use, and transmits it to the settlement sales device 1.
Although not shown, the management server 6 includes a control unit, a storage unit, a communication IF, and the like.

<Payment Server 7>
The settlement server 7 is a server that performs settlement processing for parking fees related to the use of the parking lot 9 by the user P and sales fees related to the purchase of goods by the user P using the settlement sales device 1. When the settlement server 7 receives the settlement amount from the settlement sales device 1, it generates a two-dimensional code including address information specifying the location of the settlement server 7 and information on the settlement amount, and transmits it to the settlement sales device 1. In addition, when the settlement server 7 accepts a payment request from the mobile terminal 8 that has read the two-dimensional code and connected to the settlement server 7, it performs settlement processing. Then, when the settlement processing is completed, the settlement server 7 transmits a payment completion notification to the mobile terminal 8 and the settlement sales device 1.
Although not shown, the payment server 7 includes a control unit, a storage unit, a communication IF, and the like.
In addition, the management server 6 and the settlement server 7 may each be a cloud.

<Mobile Terminal 8>
The mobile terminal 8 is a mobile terminal, such as a smartphone, owned by the user P. The user P operates the mobile terminal 8 to start an application for reading a two-dimensional code, and causes the application to read the two-dimensional code output on the display 34 of the settlement vending apparatus 1. In this way, the mobile terminal 8 connects to the settlement server 7 and performs settlement processing.
Although not shown, the mobile terminal 8 includes a control unit, a storage unit, a touch panel display, a camera, a communication IF, and the like.

Here, a computer refers to an information processing device equipped with a control unit, a memory device, etc., and the settlement sales device 1, management server 6, settlement server 7, mobile terminal 8, etc. are each information processing devices equipped with a control unit, a memory device, etc., and are included in the concept of a computer.

For example, the settlement and sales process shown in FIG. 4 is started when a user P stands in front of the settlement and sales device 1 to settle a parking fee and/or purchase a product.
In step S 11 of FIG. 4 (hereinafter, “step S” will be simply referred to as “S”), the control unit 10 of the settlement vending machine 1 receives a detection signal from the sensor 35 .
In S12, the control unit 10 outputs an initial screen to the display 34.

The user P inputs, from the input device 36, a number corresponding to whether or not to purchase consecutive products.
When purchasing successive products, specifically, when input of “1” is received on successive selection screen 52 of FIG. 6 (C), control unit 10 outputs product selection screen 51 of FIG. 6 (B) to display 34, and prompts user P to select a product number again.

On the other hand, if the customer does not wish to continue with the purchase, specifically, if the input of "3" is accepted on the successive selection screen 52 of FIG. 6(C), the control unit 10 judges in S16 of FIG. 4 whether or not to continue with the payment. In S41 of Fig. 7, the control unit 10 outputs a cabin number screen to the display 34. Fig. 8 (A) shows an example of a cabin number screen 60 output to the display 34. The cabin number screen 60 is a screen for allowing the user P to input the cabin number.
When user P looks at the vehicle space number screen 60 and inputs the vehicle space number where his/her vehicle is parked via the input device 36, the control unit 10 (payment request receiving unit 12) accepts the vehicle space number at S42 in Figure 7.

In S43, the camera 5 transmits an image of the parking lot 9 to the settlement vending device 1, and the control unit 10 (image receiving processing unit 13) of the settlement vending device 1 receives the image.
Then, in S44, the control unit 10 (image reception processing unit 13) outputs a vehicle interior confirmation screen including an image to the display 34. Fig. 8 (B) shows an example of a vehicle interior confirmation screen 61 output to the display. The vehicle interior confirmation screen 61 includes an image 61a. The image 61a is an image in which the vehicle body and the vehicle license plate 61b can be confirmed. The user P confirms that the vehicle is his/her own by looking at the image 61a and the license plate 61b therein. Then, when the user P inputs a number corresponding to the confirmation result from the input device 36, the control unit 10 (operation reception processing unit 14) accepts the confirmation result in S45 of Fig. 7.

In S46, the control unit 10 (operation reception processing unit 14) transmits a notification regarding the end of use, including the vehicle compartment number, to the management server 6. If the received confirmation result is "3. Re-input," the control unit 10 shifts the process to S41, and allows the vehicle compartment number to be re-input.
When the control unit of the management server 6 receives the notification of the end of use including the parking space number, the control unit of the management server 6 calculates the parking fee and transmits it to the settlement and sales device 1 in S47.
When the control unit 10 (parking fee acquisition unit 15) of the settlement vending device 1 receives the information related to the parking fee from the management server 6, the process proceeds to S18 in FIG.

In S18 of FIG. 4, the control unit 10 (fee output unit 21) outputs a fee screen to the display 34.
Fig. 6(D) shows an example of a purchase fee screen 53 for purchasing a product, and Fig. 8(C) shows an example of a parking fee screen 62 for settling a parking fee. Both screens are for displaying the fee and allowing the user to select a payment method.

When user P looks at the fee screen and inputs a number corresponding to the payment method via input device 36, control unit 10 (payment method reception unit 22) receives the payment method in S21 of FIG.
In S22, the control unit 10 judges whether the accepted payment method is electronic payment. When the number "3" corresponding to "3. In S51 of FIG. 9, the control unit 10 (fee transmitting unit 23) transmits the payment amount to the payment server 7.
When the control unit of the settlement server 7 receives the payment amount, in S52, it generates a two-dimensional code and transmits the generated two-dimensional code to the settlement and sales apparatus 1.

When the control unit 10 (code receiving processing unit 24) of the settlement vending device 1 receives the two-dimensional code from the settlement server 7, in S53, it outputs a code screen including the received two-dimensional code to the display 34.
8(D) shows an example of the code screen 63. The code screen 63 includes a two-dimensional code and instructions for allowing the user P to read the displayed two-dimensional code.
When the user P looks at the code screen 63 and operates his/her mobile terminal 8 to read the two-dimensional code, the control unit of the mobile terminal 8 reads the two-dimensional code in S54 of Fig. 9. Then, in S55, the control unit of the mobile terminal 8 connects to the payment server 7 using address information that specifies the location of the payment server 7 and is included in the two-dimensional code.

In S56, the control unit of the payment server 7 transmits a payment screen (not shown) to the mobile terminal 8.
The control unit of the mobile terminal 8 displays the payment screen when it receives the payment screen from the payment server 7. Then, the user P inputs information related to the payment as necessary and then performs an operation to request payment, whereby the control unit of the mobile terminal 8 transmits a payment request to the payment server 7 in S57.

The control unit of the payment server 7 that has received the payment request from the mobile terminal 8 performs a payment process in S58. Specifically, the control unit of the payment server 7 performs, for example, a process of withdrawing the fee from the bank account of the user P as the payment process.
The settlement server 7 must deposit the amount withdrawn from the bank account of the user P into the accounts of the company selling the goods and the company managing the parking lot 9. For example, the control unit of the settlement server 7 can deposit the amount into the accounts of the companies based on the information on the amount of the payment received from the settlement sales device 1 and on the type of fee associated with the payment amount.
