Description

The present invention relates to a mild illness score estimate calculation system, a mild illness score estimate calculation method, a program, a server, a subject information input system or subject information input form, and a recording medium.

In recent years, sleep debt, excessive stress, and other mental and physical disorders have led to reduced labor productivity during work (presenteeism) and economic losses, which have become a problem. On the other hand, it has become clear that workers who are free of mental and physical disorders and have a high level of happiness are more productive and creative. In order to increase individual productivity and reduce economic losses, it has become an urgent task to improve mental and physical disorders and create a vibrant, healthy, and long-lived society.

Many mild mental and physical disorders that individuals subjectively experience (hereinafter also referred to as "mild disorders") are difficult to measure with general objective indicators such as blood tests and diagnostic imaging, and are often evaluated using questionnaires based on the subjective responses of the subjects regarding their mental and physical disorders. To date, various questionnaires have been developed according to the type of mental and physical disorder being targeted and the type of subjects, for example, the Simple Occupational Stress Questionnaire (Non-Patent Document 1).

However, questionnaire methods based on subjective responses regarding physical and mental illnesses have the problem that respondents may intentionally make their illness seem more severe or less severe than it actually is, often making it difficult to accurately assess the illness.

The present invention aims to provide a simple system, method, program, server, subject information input system or subject information input form, and recording medium that can objectively estimate mild disorders, as an alternative to the conventional questionnaire method based on subjective responses regarding mental and physical disorders.

The inventors have discovered that the food that everyone eats as part of their daily routine can correlate with mild illness, and further discovered that it is possible to use the dietary information of a subject to calculate a mild illness score estimate for the subject, which estimates the subject's mild illness score, which indicates the degree of mild physical and mental illness (hereinafter also referred to as mild illness) that a person subjectively feels, and have thus completed the present invention. A seventh aspect of the present invention is a computer-readable recording medium having the above-mentioned program recorded thereon.

Unlike conventional questionnaire methods based on the subjective responses of subjects regarding minor ailments (mental and physical ailments), the present invention is able to estimate a minor ailment score using subject attribute information and dietary information, which is information that is not easy to intentionally manipulate while considering the impact on the evaluation value obtained by the subject (respondent), and has the advantage of not requiring the subject to self-evaluate their minor ailments (mental and physical ailments).

The present invention is generally applicable to cases where it is expected that a correct evaluation of mild illness based on self-assessment of mild illness is performed, but by using the present invention, a mild illness score estimate that does not include any intentional manipulation by the subject can be obtained, and in this respect, it is particularly useful in cases where a correct evaluation of mild illness based on self-assessment of mild illness is difficult, for example, in an environment that is generally prone to intentional manipulation by the subject, so that the subject's mild illness state can be appropriately grasped.

Examples of environments that may easily lead to intentional manipulation by the subject include cases where there is a third party who knows the subject's evaluation value. In particular, cases where the subject does not properly communicate his or her physical or mental discomfort out of consideration for those around him or her (third parties), cases where the third party is a stressor for the subject, cases where the subject's evaluation value is shown to those around him or her (third parties), and cases where the subject's evaluation value is shown to those around him or her (third parties) and the subject does not want those around him or her to know about his or her true state of mild discomfort are anticipated.

In addition, since the present invention is a method for estimating a mild illness score from only information about meals that everyone engages in as part of their daily activities and attribute information that everyone possesses, anyone can respond, and there is also the advantage that the burden on the subject of collecting information is small. Therefore, the present invention can be easily used by a wide range of subjects, and is also suitable for conducting mild illness evaluations multiple times. Predicting mild illness as simply as possible also leads to a solution to the above-mentioned problem of presenteeism.

Industrial applications include, for example, services to monitor minor illnesses of family members who live far away (monitoring services). Other examples include cases in which minor illness evaluations are performed on many people, or cases in which minor illness evaluations are performed on many people multiple times, such as services for universities, companies, etc. to grasp the state of minor illnesses of employees, and services for universities, companies, etc. to track the state of minor illnesses of employees over time or frequently.

The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.
