Description

The present invention relates to an information concealment sheet in which a main body piece and a concealment piece are connected to each other and are attached in a releasable manner, and in particular to a technology for detecting when the main body piece and the concealment piece are tampered with and opened.

As a type of information transmission medium, postcards are used in which a main piece having an information display field and a concealing piece for concealing the information displayed in the information display field are connected. Such postcards can be folded at the connecting edge between the main piece and the concealing piece, and the main piece and the concealing piece are releasably attached by an adhesive layer laminated on the concealing piece, thereby concealing the information displayed in the information display field.

However, because the adhesive layer laminated to the concealing piece is used to removably attach the main body piece and the concealing piece, there is a risk that the main body piece and the concealing piece may be improperly peeled off and opened from their attached state.

Patent Document 1 discloses an information concealment form comprising a main piece of paper provided in a secret information entry area for entering secret information, and a concealment piece of paper connected to the main piece of paper via a fold line and folded back at the fold line to cover the secret information entry area of the main piece of paper, in which a strip-shaped peel-off portion is provided on the outer side of the secret information entry area of the main piece of paper, surrounded by half-cut cut lines along three sides excluding the fold line, and an adhesive layer portion is attached along the longitudinal direction of each peel-off portion on the inner surface covering the secret information entry area of the concealment piece of paper in an overlapping portion with the peel-off portion. According to this information concealment form, when the main piece of paper and the concealment piece of paper are opened after being sealed, the peel-off portion will peel off from the paper. Therefore, the peel-off portion leaves a trace of opening, making it possible to detect unauthorized opening.

However, in the case of the package disclosed in Patent Document 1, in order for the peelable portion to peel off when the main paper piece and the concealing paper piece are sealed and then opened, the major premise is that the adhesive portion is strongly adhered to the peelable portion. Therefore, if the package is opened immediately after the main paper piece and the concealing paper piece are sealed, there is a risk that the peelable portion will not peel off and no trace of opening will remain.

In addition, in the device disclosed in Patent Document 1, in order to ensure that the peeling occurs at the peeling portion when the main piece of paper and the concealing piece of paper are sealed and then opened, a part of the cut line is formed to face the adhesive layer portion. However, in that case, there is a risk that the peeling at the peeling portion may extend to the outer periphery of the main piece of paper or the information display field. In an information concealing sheet such as a return postcard in which a main piece having an information display field and a concealing piece for concealing information displayed in the information display field are connected as described above, after the main piece and the concealing piece are peeled from their attached state, mechanical processing such as mechanical reading of the information displayed in the information display field may be performed. In that case, it is necessary to maintain the outer shape of the sheet, but if the peeling at the peeling portion extends to the outer periphery of the main piece, the outer shape of the sheet cannot be maintained, and mechanical processing cannot be performed. In addition, if the peeling at the peeling portion extends to the information display field of the main piece, there is a problem that the information displayed in the information display field cannot be viewed.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the problems of the conventional technology as described above, and aims to provide an information concealment sheet in which a main body piece and a concealment piece that are connected to each other are removably attached, which is capable of leaving a trace even if the main body piece and the concealment piece are peeled and opened immediately after being attached, and which is capable of leaving a trace of peeling and opening only in an area necessary for detecting unauthorized opening.

In the present invention configured as described above, when the main body piece and the concealing piece are peeled open from the state where they are attached by the adhesive layer, the opening detection sections provided in the areas adjacent to the upper and lower sides of the attachment surface of the main body piece to the concealing piece are attached to the strong adhesive section provided on the concealing piece, and the first half slit provided in the opening detection section triggers the separation of the main body piece from the paper. At that time, the first half slit has a convex shape with an opening on the side opposite the protruding side, but the protruding side faces the side opposite the connecting side between the main body piece and the concealing piece, i.e., the side where the peeling starts when the main body piece and the concealing piece are peeled off, so that the paper separation is likely to occur, and a trace can be left even if the peeling is opened immediately after the main body piece and the concealing piece are attached. Furthermore, the peeling spreads to the main body piece as the main body piece tears from the open end of the first half slit, but the opening detection section has second half slits formed on at least the top, bottom, and connecting sides of the periphery of the opening detection section to surround the multiple first half slits. This prevents the peeling in the main body piece from spreading beyond the opening detection section by the second half slits, thereby preventing the peeling from reaching the periphery of the main body piece, making it impossible to maintain the outer shape of the main body piece, or from reaching the information display section of the main body piece, making it impossible to view the information displayed in the information display section.

According to the present invention, the first half slits provided in the opening detection section of the main body piece have a convex shape that opens on the side opposite to the protruding side, and are formed in a row along the upper and lower sides of the main body piece with the protruding side facing the side opposite to the connecting side between the main body piece and the concealing piece, so that peeling between the paper is likely to occur, and even if the paper is peeled and opened immediately after the main body piece and the concealing piece are attached, a trace of the peeling can be left. In addition, the second half slits are formed on at least the upper, lower, and connecting side sides of the outer periphery of the opening detection section so as to surround the multiple first half slits, so that the second half slits prevent the paper peeling of the main body piece from spreading outside the opening detection section, and therefore a trace of the peeling and opening can be left only in the area necessary to detect unauthorized opening.

Below, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

Figure 1 shows one embodiment of the information concealment sheet of the present invention, where (a) is a diagram showing one side, (b) is a cross-sectional view taken along the line A-A' in (a), (c) is a cross-sectional view taken along the line B-B' in (a), and (d) is a diagram showing the other side. Figure 2 shows the structure of the concealment postcard 1 shown in Figure 1 after the release paper 40 has been peeled off from the concealment piece 20.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this embodiment is a concealment postcard 1 in which a release paper 40 is attached to the concealment piece 20 on one side of a base sheet 2 in which a main body piece 10 and a concealment piece 20 are connected with one side of each piece as a connecting side.

A fold 30 is formed at the connecting edge between the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 by half slits, creasing, etc., so that the base sheet 2 can be folded via the fold 30.

One side of the main body piece 10 is provided with an information entry field 11 for entering information to be transmitted using this concealment postcard 1, and outside the information entry field 11, a strip-shaped opening detection section 12 is provided in each of the areas adjacent to the upper and lower sides of the main body piece 10 that intersect with the fold 50, extending along the upper and lower sides of the main body piece 10. The longitudinal length of the opening detection section 12 is preferably 80% or more of the upper and lower sides of the main body piece 10. Also, instead of the information entry field 11, a field on which information to be transmitted using this concealment postcard 1 is printed may be provided, and these together are referred to as information display fields.

In the opening detection section 12, a V-shaped first half slit 13, which is open on the side opposite the protruding side, is formed in a row along the upper and lower sides of the main body piece 10, with the protruding side facing away from the folded section 30, and a second half slit 14 is formed on the outer peripheral side of the opening detection section 12 so as to surround the half slit 13. These half slits 13, 14 are formed from one side of the base sheet 2 so as not to penetrate the base sheet 2 from the front to the back, and their depths are the same, for example, 50% to 60% of the thickness of the base sheet 2.

On the other side of the main body piece 10, there is a destination information display area 16 that displays the return address, name, or title of the recipient of this concealed postcard 1.

On one side of the concealment piece 20, in the area facing the opening detection section 12 when the base sheet 2 is folded via the folding section 30, an adhesive is applied to adhere the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 in a manner that makes them difficult to peel off, thereby providing a strong adhesive section 60. The strong adhesive section 60 is provided so as to face the multiple half slits 13 when the base sheet 2 is folded via the folding section 30. Note that the term "difficult to peel off" means that the main body piece 10 itself is strongly attached to the concealment piece 20, so that when the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 are peeled off by a human hand after being attached, the main body piece 10 itself is torn or peeled off in the thickness direction. Furthermore, on one side of the concealment piece 20, a pseudo-adhesive layer 50 is laminated in the area sandwiched between the two strong adhesive sections 60, for example, by applying an adhesive with a weak adhesive force, which enables the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 to be peeled off after being attached. A release paper 40 is attached in a releasable manner so as to cover the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 and the strong adhesive section 60. It is also possible to prevent information written in the information entry field 11 of the main body piece 10 from being seen through when the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 are attached by printing a background pattern or the like on the area where the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 of the concealment piece 20 is laminated. In this case, the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 is laminated after printing a background pattern or the like on the concealment piece 20.

The release paper 40 has a destination information display area 41 that displays the address, name, or title of the recipient of the concealed postcard 1.

The following describes how to use the concealed postcard 1 configured as described above.

First, we will explain how to use the concealment postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2, up to the stage of attaching the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20.

Figure 3 is a diagram for explaining how to use the concealment postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2, up to the stage of attaching the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20.

As shown in FIG. 3(a), the concealed postcard 1 shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 is delivered to the destination according to the destination information 41a displayed in the destination information display area 41 of the release paper 40, and then the destination of the concealed postcard 1 writes information to be notified to the reply destination, such as application information 11a, in the information entry field 11.

Next, in order to apply using the application information 11a entered in the information entry field 11, the release paper 40 is peeled off from the concealment piece 20 as shown in FIG. 3(b). This exposes the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 and the strong adhesive portion 60 provided in the area of the concealment piece 20 where the release paper 40 was attached.

Then, as shown in FIG. 3(c), the main piece 10 is folded at the folding section 30 so that the side with the information entry field 11 is on the inside, and the main piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are attached by the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 and the strong adhesive section 60. The concealing postcard 1 is then sent to the reply address according to the destination information 16a displayed in the destination information display area 16 of the main piece 10. At that time, by attaching the concealing piece 20 to the side of the main piece 10 with the information entry field 11, the application information 11a entered in the information entry field 11 is prevented from being viewed during the delivery of the concealing postcard 1.

Next, we will explain the action of the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 of the concealment postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 when they are peeled off after being attached.

Figure 4 is a diagram to explain the action of the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 of the concealment postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 when they are peeled off after being attached.

When the concealed postcard 1 is delivered to the return address with the main piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 attached as described above, as shown in FIG. 4(a), the main piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are peeled off from the edge opposite the fold 30 to allow the return addressee to check the application information 11a entered in the information entry field 11.

When the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 are peeled off, in the area where the pseudo-adhesive layer 50 of the concealment piece 20 is laminated, the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 are peeled off because they are removably attached by the pseudo-adhesive layer 50, while in the area where the strong adhesive portion 60 of the concealment piece 20 is provided, the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 are attached by the strong adhesive portion 60 in a manner that makes it difficult to peel off, and paper peeling occurs in the main body piece 10. And, since the opening detection portion 12 is provided in the area facing the strong adhesive portion 60 of the main body piece 10, the main body piece 10 peels off at the opening detection portion 12, and as shown in FIG. 4(b), a part of the main body piece 10 becomes the paper peeling portion 17b and remains attached to the concealment piece 20 by the strong adhesive portion 60, and the paper peeling portion 17a from which the paper peeling portion 17b has peeled off remains on the main body piece 10 side.

In this way, when the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 20 of the concealment postcard 1 are peeled off after being attached, the peeling between the sheets in the main body piece 10 creates the peeling sections 17a and 17b, leaving traces of peeling and opening, making it possible to detect fraudulent opening.

Here, we will explain the effect of the half slits 13 and 14 provided in the opening detection section 12.

Figure 5 is a diagram for explaining the action of the half slit 13 provided in the opening detection section 12 in the concealed postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2, and Figure 6 is a diagram for explaining the action of the half slit 14 provided in the opening detection section 12 in the concealed postcard 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2.

As described above, the half slit 13 provided in the opening detection section 12 has a V-shape with an opening on the side opposite to the protruding side, and the protruding side faces the side opposite to the folding section 30 that is the connecting side between the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20. On the other hand, the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20, which are peelably attached, are folded via the folding section 30 and peelably attached, so they are peeled from each other with the side opposite to the folding section 30 as the peeling start end. Then, since the area where the half slit 13 of the opening detection section 12 is formed is attached to the concealing piece 20 by the strong adhesive section 60, as shown in FIG. 5(a), the part surrounded by the V-shape of the half slit 13 begins to peel from the apex of the V-shape, which has a narrow area, and a part of it becomes the paper peeling section 17b and remains attached to the concealing piece 20, and the paper peeling section 17a from which the paper peeling section 17b has peeled remains on the main body piece 10 side.

Then, the separation between the paper sheets of the main body piece 10 spreads to the main body piece 10 as the main body piece 10 tears from the open end of the half slit 13, as shown in FIG. 5(b).

In this way, in the opening detection section 12, the half slit 13 having a V-shape with an opening on the side opposite to the protruding side is formed with the protruding side facing the peeling start end side where the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are peeled off, so that paper peeling is likely to occur, and even if the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are peeled off and opened immediately after being attached, a trace can be left. Also, even if the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are attached with a weak force, a trace can be left. Also, since paper peeling is likely to occur, paper peeling can be caused even if the adhesive strength of the strong adhesive part 60 is weakened by applying a thin layer of adhesive that constitutes the strong adhesive part 60, and this can prevent the printing from peeling off when information is printed on the surface of the release paper 40 that is attached to the concealing piece 20.

As described above, the peeling between the paper sheets of the main body piece 10 spreads to the main body piece 10 as the main body piece 10 tears from the open end of the half slit 13. However, the opening detection section 12 has a half slit 14 formed on the outer periphery of the opening detection section 12 so as to surround the half slit 13. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6, the half slit 14 prevents the peeling between the paper sheets of the main body piece 10 from spreading outward beyond the opening detection section 12. This prevents the peeling between the paper sheets from reaching the outer periphery of the main body piece 10, making it impossible to maintain the outer shape of the main body piece 10, or from reaching the information entry section 11 of the main body piece 10 and making it impossible to view the information entered in the information entry section 11.

Other Embodiments
FIG. 7 shows another embodiment of the information concealing sheet of the present invention, where (a) shows one side, and (b) shows the configuration after the release paper 40 has been peeled off from the concealing piece 120 shown in (a).

As shown in Fig. 7, this embodiment is a concealment postcard 101 that differs from those shown in Figs. 1 and 2 in that, along the side of the concealment piece 120 opposite the folded portion 30, for example, the adhesive constituting the strong adhesive portion 60 is applied in dots to provide a plurality of glue dots 70. The release paper 40 is releasably attached to the concealment piece 120 so as to cover all of the pseudo-adhesive layer 50, the strong adhesive portion 60, and the glue dots 70.

Even in the concealment postcard 101 configured as described above, when the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 120 are peeled off after being attached, the half slits 13 make the main body piece 10 more likely to peel off at the opening detection unit 12, and the half slits 14 prevent the peeling from spreading outward beyond the opening detection unit 12. Furthermore, in the concealment postcard 101 of this embodiment, multiple glue dots 70 are provided along the side opposite the fold 30 of the concealment piece 120, which is the peeling start end when the main body piece 10 and the concealment piece 120 are peeled off after being attached, thereby preventing the concealment postcard 101 from being accidentally peeled off and opened during delivery.

In the above-described embodiment, the half slits 13 and 14 have the same depth, but in order to reliably prevent the half slit 14 from spreading beyond the opening detection section 12 due to the peeling caused by the half slit 13, it is preferable that the half slit 14 is deeper than the half slit 13.

In the above-described embodiment, the half slits 14 are formed on the outer periphery of the opening detection section 12, but in order to prevent the separation between the sheets caused by the half slits 13 from spreading outward beyond the opening detection section 12 using the half slits 14, the half slits 14 need only be formed so as to surround the multiple half slits 13 on at least the upper and lower edges and the edge on the folding section 30 side of the outer periphery of the opening detection section 12. In that case, in order for the half slits 14 to surround all of the multiple half slits 13, the end of the half slits 14 opposite the folding section 30 should be positioned so as to sandwich at least the half slit 13 that is farthest from the folding section 30 among the multiple half slits 13, and the half slits 14 should extend from there toward the folding section 30 side.

In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the half slit 13 formed in the opening detection section 12 is described as being V-shaped with an opening on the side opposite the protruding side, but the half slit 13 formed in the opening detection section 12 is not limited to being V-shaped, and may be U-shaped with an opening on the side opposite the protruding side, or have any other convex shape. However, if it has an apex angle like a V-shape, when the main body piece 10 and the concealing piece 20 are peeled away from each other, paper separation is likely to occur in the main body piece 10, triggered by the half slit 13.

Figure 8 shows another form of half slit formed inside the opening detection unit 12 shown in Figures 1 and 7.

The half slit formed inside the opening detection unit 12 may be a half slit 113, 213, 313 using a circular arc as shown in Figs. 8(a)-(c), or a roughly U-shaped half slit 413, 513 with three sides as shown in Figs. 8(d)-(e), as well as a half slit 613, 713 with two sides that intersect on the side opposite the folded portion 30 as shown in Figs. 8(f)-(g). In addition, the half slits 413, 513, 613, 713 shown in Figs. 8(d)-(g) may have a rounded portion where the two sides intersect.
