Description

The present invention relates to a stand that is attached to a shopping cart.

Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a stand that can be attached to a shopping cart.

To achieve the above object, the mounting stand of the present invention has a mounting section and a first leg section that is rotatably attached to the underside of the mounting section and is attached to the front end of a shopping cart equipped with a basket mounting section, and is deployed on the basket mounting section of the shopping cart and is retracted from above the basket mounting section.

Overview Hereinafter, a platform 3 and a shopping cart 1 with a platform according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the platform 3 of this embodiment is attached to a shopping cart 2 and provides the shopping cart 2 with the function of serving as a platform on which objects can be placed, in addition to its original role of carrying merchandise, etc.

The shopping cart 2 with the mounting stand 3 attached constitutes the shopping cart with mounting stand 1 according to this embodiment. This shopping cart with mounting stand 1 can be used with the mounting stand 3 folded and stored in the front as shown in Fig. 1, or with the mounting stand 3 unfolded as shown in Fig. 2.
When the platform 3 is folded and stored in the front, for example, a user of the shopping cart 1 with platform, such as a shopper, can carry products by putting them in a shopping basket placed on the shopping cart 2. On the other hand, when the platform 3 is unfolded, for example, a user of the shopping cart 1 with platform, such as a shopper, can spread purchased food products on the platform 3 and eat and drink them.

In the following description, the direction in which a shopper holds the handle 2113 and pushes the shopping cart 2 forward will be referred to as the forward direction, and the opposite direction will be referred to as the backward direction.
Further, although the user of the shopping cart with platform 1 is assumed to be a shopper here, in implementing the present invention, the user of the shopping cart with platform 1 is not limited to a shopper, and may be a store clerk or the like.

●Shopping Cart 2
The shopping cart 2 constituting the shopping cart with stand 1 is a cart used by shoppers to carry products, etc. in stores such as supermarkets. As shown in Fig. 3, the shopping cart 2 can accommodate a shopping basket 4 to be used by the shopper on a first basket placement section 23 and a second basket placement section 24, and the shopper places products, etc. in the shopping basket 4 placed on the shopping cart 2 and carries the products, etc.

As shown in FIG. 3, the shopping basket 4 used in this shopping cart 2 has a rectangular opening at one end and a box-shaped storage section 41 capable of storing products, etc., and the end of the opening of the storage section 41 protrudes outward to form a protruding edge 42. As long as the shopping basket 4 has this configuration, it does not have to be one provided for use by a store or the like for customers, and may be, for example, a so-called personal basket brought by a shopper.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the shopping cart 2 has a pair of main body frames 21 facing each other in the width direction, and front wheels 221 and rear wheels 222 for moving the shopping cart 2.

Each of the pair of main body frames 21 is a rod-shaped member bent at a predetermined location, with one end facing downward and the other end facing upward.
The main body frame 21 is made of a highly rigid material such as iron, stainless steel, aluminum, or other metal. In the drawing, the main body frame 21 is configured to be rectangular, but is not limited to this and may be round.

The main frame 21 is bent at a predetermined location, and from the top to the bottom, it constitutes a first frame portion 211, a second frame portion 212, a third frame portion 213, and a fourth frame portion 214, in that order.

The first frame portion 211 forms a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal plane and is inclined so as to gradually rise from the front side to the rear side of the shopping cart 2. The space between a pair of first frame portions 211 facing each other in the width direction is open, forming an open portion 21a. The width of this open portion 21a is slightly wider than the width of the shopping basket 4, and the shopping basket 4 can be placed in the open portion 21a as shown in FIG. 3.

As shown in FIG. 2, a first support portion 2111 is disposed at the end of the first frame portion 211 on the front side of the shopping cart 2, and both ends of the first support portion 2111 are connected to the pair of first frame portions 211. The first support portion 2111 is a rod-shaped member having a length in the width direction of the shopping cart 2, and rotatably supports the first leg portion 321 of the mounting base 3. In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, when the shopping basket 4 is placed in the open portion 21a, the first support portion 2111 supports the shopping basket 4 via the first leg portion 321 of the mounting base 3.

The end of the first frame portion 211 that is on the rear side of the shopping cart 2 is connected by a handle 2113 made of a steel rod. A user can grasp this handle 2113 and push the shopping cart 2 in the desired direction.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, a second support portion 2112 is disposed near the handle 2113 and in front of the handle 2113, and both ends of the second support portion 2112 are connected to a pair of first frame portions 211. The second support portion 2112 is a rod-shaped member having a length in the width direction of the shopping cart 2, and supports the second leg portion 322 of the platform 3 when the platform 3 is unfolded.

The first support portion 2111 and the second support portion 2112 constitute a first basket placement portion 23 for placing the shopping basket 4 placed in the open portion 21a. That is, the first support portion 2111 supports the shopping basket 4 placed in the open portion 21a from the bottom side, and the second support portion 2112 supports the protruding edge portion 42 of the shopping basket 4, thereby placing the shopping basket 4 on the first basket placement portion 23.

In this embodiment, the shopping basket 4 can be placed on the first basket placement section 23, which is composed of the first support section 2111 and the second support section 2112. However, the length of the placement section 31 may be such that the upper end of the placement section 31 folded forward of the shopping cart 2 is positioned higher than the first support section 2111. With this configuration, the shopping basket 4 placed on the first basket placement section 23 can be prevented from shifting forward by one end of the placement section 31 that protrudes higher than the first support section 2111.

The second frame portion 212 is a portion that extends downward from the front end of the first frame portion 211. This second frame portion 212 is gently inclined from the upper end to the lower end so as to protrude forward.

The third frame portion 213 is a portion that extends rearward from the lower end of the second frame portion 212. As shown in FIG. 2, a rod-shaped support shaft 2131 having a length in the width direction of the shopping cart 2 is disposed near the end of the third frame portion 213 that faces the second frame portion 212.

The support shaft 2131 connects the pair of third frame portions 213 to ensure the rigidity of the shopping cart 2, and also supports the platform 3 that is folded forward of the shopping cart 2. This support shaft 2131 is provided forward of the first support portion 2111 of the first frame portion 211. As a result, when the platform 3 is folded forward of the shopping cart 2, the folded platform 3 leans against the support shaft 2131 in a backward tilted position with the platform portion 31 facing diagonally upward. As a result, the platform 3 does not unfold forward from its folded state on its own.

In this example, the folded platform 3 is supported in a backward tilted position by the support shaft 2131, so that the platform 3 does not unfold forward by itself. Regardless of this, a predetermined attachment/detachment mechanism may be provided so that the platform 31 can be detachably attached to the first leg 321 when folded. Such an attachment/detachment mechanism can be configured, for example, by a fitting portion on the platform 31 side and a fitting receiving portion on the first leg 321 side, which are provided at the point where the folded first leg 321 and the back surface of the platform 31 abut. In another example, the mechanism can be configured by a magnet, hook-and-loop fastener, or adhesive tape provided on the first leg 321 and the back surface of the platform 31, respectively, at the point where the folded first leg 321 and the back surface of the platform 31 abut. This allows the folded platform 3 to be maintained in a folded state without being supported in a backward tilted position. In addition, when the shopping cart with stand 1 is moved, the folded stand 3 can be prevented from unfolding by itself.

The fourth frame portion 214 is a portion that extends downward from the rear end portion of the third frame portion 213 .
A rear wheel 222 is attached to each of the lower ends of the pair of fourth frame portions 214.
The rear wheels 222, together with the front wheels 221, enable the shopping cart 2 to move on a floor surface, and rotate according to the direction in which the user pushes or pulls the shopping cart 2.

As shown in FIG. 3, the fourth frame portion 214 has a second basket placement portion 24 protruding forward for placing the shopping basket 4 thereon.

The second basket placement section 24 is a section below the shopping cart 2 for placing the shopping basket 4, and is provided directly below the first basket placement section 23. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the second basket placement section 24 is configured by a frame that is approximately trapezoidal in plan view, and has a pair of side frames 241 that are long in the front-to-rear direction, a rear frame 242 that spans the width behind the side frames 241, a central frame 243 that spans the width at approximately the center in the front-to-rear direction, and a plate-shaped connecting plate section 244 that connects the pair of side frames 241 at the front in the front-to-rear direction.

The pair of side frames 241 are arranged so that they gradually approach each other from the rear to the front, so that the second car placement section 24 is configured so that it gradually becomes narrower toward the front. In addition, the pair of side frames 241 are configured so that their height gradually decreases toward the front.

The rear frame 242 and the center frame 243 both connect the pair of side frames 241 to ensure the rigidity of the shopping cart 2, and when the shopping basket 4 is placed on the second basket placement section 24, they directly abut against the bottom surface of the shopping basket 4, supporting the shopping basket 4.

The connecting plate portion 244 is a member made of plastic or the like, and connects the pair of side frames 241 to ensure the rigidity of the shopping cart 2, as well as cushioning the impact when the lower portion of the shopping cart 2 collides forward with some object, and preventing objects from getting caught in the front wheels 221.

A pair of front wheels 221 are attached to the underside of the connecting plate portion 244. Like the rear wheels 222, the front wheels 221 are wheels that allow the shopping cart 2 to move on the floor surface, and rotate according to the direction in which the user pushes or pulls the shopping cart 2.

● Mounting stand 3
In this embodiment, the platform 3 is a foldable table that can be folded and stored in front of the shopping cart 2 as shown in Fig. 1, allowing the platform 3 to be retracted to an open state above the first basket placement section 23 on which the shopping basket 4 is placed. Also, as shown in Fig. 2, the platform 3 can be unfolded onto the first basket placement section 23.
The platform 3 is composed of a platform 31, a pair of first legs 321 attached to the upper end of the first car platform 23, and a pair of second legs 322 attached to the upper end of the first car platform 23 only when deployed.

The mounting section 31 is a thin plate-like top plate having a generally rectangular shape in a plan view, and has a length in the front-to-rear direction of the shopping cart 2 when the mounting base 3 is unfolded. The width of the mounting section 31 is set to a length that fits within the distance between the pair of main body frames 21 that constitute the shopping cart 2.
The surface of the placement portion 31 constitutes a placement space on which various items such as food and drink can be placed when the placement platform 3 is unfolded.
The material of the mounting portion 31 is not particularly limited, and various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic may be used.

Of the four corners on the underside of the mounting portion 31, a pair of first legs 321 are attached to the two front corners, and a pair of second legs 322 are attached to the two rear corners.

The pair of first legs 321 are rotatably attached to the rear surface of the mounting portion 31 via hinges 33 .
When the mounting table 3 is unfolded, the pair of first legs 321 stand at a right angle to the mounting portion 31. When the mounting table 3 is folded, the pair of first legs 321 are folded inside the mounting portion 31 toward the side where the second legs 322 are provided.

A through hole 321a is formed in the width direction at the end of the pair of first legs 321 that faces the placement portion 31, i.e., near the tip. The first support portion 2111 passes loosely through the through hole 321a. As a result, the first legs 321 are attached to the shopping cart 2 equipped with the first basket placement portion 23 so as to be rotatable around the first support portion 2111 at the front end of the shopping cart 2.

In this embodiment, the first support portion 2111 is loosely inserted into the through holes 321a provided at the tips of the pair of first legs 321, thereby allowing the first legs 321 to rotate relative to the first support portion 2111. Meanwhile, in other embodiments, the first support portion 2111 or a predetermined member provided on the first support portion 2111 may be connected to the tips of the first legs 321 with a hinge. With this configuration, the first legs 321 can be made to stand on the first support portion 2111 and can also be folded. When such a hinge is provided, the hinge may be provided with a biasing force against the folding direction so that the first legs 321 are folded gently without being folded suddenly.

Similar to the pair of first legs 321 , the pair of second legs 322 are attached to the rear surface of the mounting portion 31 via hinges 33 .
When the mounting table 3 is unfolded, the pair of second legs 322 stand obliquely in an outwardly open state with respect to the mounting portion 31. When the mounting table 3 is folded, the pair of second legs 322 are folded inside the mounting portion 31 toward the side where the first legs 321 are provided.

2(b), the pair of second legs 322 are connected by a strip-shaped connecting part 34 near the end facing the placement part 31. The connecting part 34 allows the pair of first legs 321 to rotate together via the hinge 33. As a result, when a user wants to fold or unfold the second legs 322, the user can fold or unfold the pair of second legs 322 together by using the connecting part 34. The connecting part 34 is provided slightly closer to the placement part 31 than the tip of the pair of second legs 322. This prevents the hand holding the connecting part 34 from getting caught between the connecting part 34 and the second support part 2112 when the user unfolds the pair of second legs 322 to support them on the second support part 2112, and makes it easy to grip like a handle when folding from the unfolded state. Regardless of this example, the connecting part 34 may be in a shape that is easy to grip, such as a cylindrical shape.

The second leg 322 is attached to the rear end of the shopping cart 2 only when the platform 3 is unfolded.
4B, a concave projection 3221 is provided at the tip of the second leg 322 for fixing the second leg 322 to the second support part 2112. The concave projection 3221 is a substantially C-shaped member conforming to the shape of the cylindrical second support part 2112, and has an opening facing the second support part 2112 side. When the second leg 322 is deployed, the second support part 2112 is detachably fitted into the recess of the concave projection 3221. This fixes the second leg 322 to the shopping cart 2, and prevents the deployed platform 3 from moving unstably, such as the second leg 322 of the deployed platform 3 suddenly coming off the second support part 2112.

In this embodiment, the concave projection 3221 constitutes the fitting portion, and the second support portion 2112 constitutes the fitting receiving portion in relation to the fitting portion. However, the fitting mechanism consisting of the fitting portion and the fitting receiving portion is not limited to the form shown in this embodiment, and can be configured with other shapes and structures such as a fastener, a magnet, or a hook-and-loop fastener.

2, the pair of first legs 321 and second legs 322 have different lengths. In this embodiment, the first frame portion 211 is inclined so as to become lower from the rear to the front, and the length of the pair of first legs 321 is configured to be shorter than the length of the second legs 322 by a predetermined length. As a result, when the first legs 321 and the second legs 322 are erected and the mounting platform 3 is deployed on the first car mounting portion 23, the mounting portion 31 is supported horizontally on the first car mounting portion 23 by the first legs 321 and the second legs 322.
Note that the placement section 31 does not need to be supported strictly horizontally as long as bottles and the like can be placed on the placement section 31 without any problems, and it is sufficient that the placement section 31 is supported approximately horizontally. In particular, if the surface of the placement section 31 is covered with a member having frictional force or adhesiveness (simple rubber sheet), such as a rubber sheet, it does not need to be supported strictly horizontally, and even when the shopping cart 2 sways, the objects on the placement section 31 will not fall or tip over.

As shown in FIG. 1(c), the pair of first legs 321 are attached near both ends in the width direction on the back surface of the mounting portion 31. In contrast, the pair of second legs 322 are attached inward from both ends in the width direction, and the width of the pair of second legs 322 is a width that fits between the pair of first legs 321. As a result, when the pair of first legs 321 and the pair of second legs 322 are folded on the back surface side of the mounting portion 31, the pair of second legs 322 fits inside the pair of first legs 321. As a result, the first legs 321 and the second legs 322 abut against the back surface of the mounting portion 31, and the thickness of the folded mounting base 3 is determined by the thickness of the mounting portion 31 and the thicker of the folded first legs 321 or second legs 322. As a result, the thickness of the folded mounting base 3 can be reduced, and the mounting base 3 can be made compact.

In this embodiment, a pair of first legs 321 and a pair of second legs 322 are provided, but each may be formed of a wide plate-like member.
In this embodiment, when the pair of first legs 321 and the pair of second legs 322 are folded toward the back surface of the mounting portion 31, the pair of second legs 322 are arranged to be accommodated inside the pair of first legs 321. However, as long as the side surfaces of the first legs 321 and the second legs 322 can be abutted against the back surface of the mounting portion 31, the thickness of the mounting base 3 with the first legs 321 and the second legs 322 folded can be reduced even if the mounting base 3 has another configuration.
In other words, if only one of the first leg 321 or the second leg 322 is provided as a pair and the other leg is folded between them, the other leg may be configured in a plate shape.
Furthermore, if the combined length of the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 is configured to be shorter than the length between the attachment positions of the first leg 321 and the second leg 322, when the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 are folded, the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 can be folded so that the side surfaces of the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 do not interfere with each other and come into contact with the rear surface of the mounting portion 31. When configured in this way, both the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 may be configured in a plate shape.

The hinge 33 may have a biasing force against the folding direction so that the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 are folded gently and not abruptly. This can prevent the user from getting injured by having their hands caught when the platform 3 is folded forward of the shopping cart 2 as shown in FIG. 4(a), and can prevent the platform 3 from being damaged by folding too quickly.

In addition, to prevent the user's hand from being pinched between the first leg 311 or the second leg 322 and the back surface of the mounting part 31 when folding the first leg 321 or the second leg 322, a shock-absorbing member such as a cushion may be inserted or attached as appropriate.

Steps of Folding and Unfolding the Placement Table 3 The steps of folding and unfolding the placement table 3 will be described, starting with the step of unfolding the folded placement table 3.
When the platform 3 is folded forward of the shopping cart 2 as shown in Fig. 1, the user grasps the platform 31 and lifts it upward as shown in Fig. 4(a). At this time, the first leg 321 rotates around the first support 2111 and gradually stands up. Then, when the user grasps the connecting portion 34 and spreads it outward as shown in Fig. 4(b), the pair of second legs 322 stand up integrally.

The user further rotates the first leg 321 around the first support portion 2111, and brings the tip of the second leg 322 into contact with the second support portion 2112 as shown in Fig. 2. At this time, the recess of the concave projection 3221 provided at the tip of the second leg 322 removably fits into the second support portion 2112. As described above, since the connecting portion 34 is provided slightly closer to the placement portion 31 side than the tips of the pair of second legs 322, when the user brings the tip of the second leg 322 into contact with the second support portion 2112, the hand holding the connecting portion 34 will not be pinched between the connecting portion 34 and the second support portion 2112.
As a result, the first leg 321 and the second leg 322 are erected, and the platform 3 is deployed on the first basket placement section 23 .

When the platform 3 is deployed on the first basket placement section 23 in this manner, even if a shopping basket 4 is placed on the first basket placement section 23, the top end of the shopping basket 4 is separated from the rear surface of the placement section 31 by the first leg 321 and the second leg 322. As a result, even when the platform 3 is deployed on the first basket placement section 23, it is possible to take out or put products into the shopping basket 4, and even if products are packed so that they overflow from the shopping basket 4, the overflowing products will not be crushed by the placement section 31.

Next, a process of folding up the placement table 3 that has been deployed on the first basket placement section 23 will be described.
When the platform 3 is deployed on the first basket placement section 23 as shown in Fig. 2, the user grasps the connecting section 34 and pulls it upward as shown in Fig. 4(b). As a result, the recess of the concave projection 3221 provided at the tip of the second leg 322 detaches from the second support section 2112, and the user folds the second leg 322 so that it abuts against the back surface of the placement section 31. Then, when the first leg 321 is rotated around the first support section 2111 so that the front surface of the placement section 31 faces forward, the first leg 321 is folded on both sides of the second leg 322 that is folded in abutment against the back surface of the placement section 31.
As a result, the portion of the rear surface of the mounting portion 31 around the location where the first leg portion 321 is attached is supported by the support shaft 2131, and the mounting table 3 takes a backward-inclined position with the lower portion protruding forward.

When the platform 3 is folded forward in this manner, the shopping basket 4 can be placed on the first basket placement section 23 and products can be placed in the shopping basket 4. In addition, the platform 3 does not extend beyond the width of the pair of main frames 21, but fits within the width, so the platform 3 does not get in the way when the user moves the shopping cart 1 with platform.

Stacked Storage State The shopping cart 1 with platform having the above configuration can be stored in a stacked state with the platform 3 folded forward as shown in FIG.
That is, the pair of side frames 241 constituting the second basket placement section 24 are arranged so as to gradually approach each other from the rear to the front, and are configured so that their height gradually decreases toward the front, and the placement platform 3 has a width such that the placement section 31 fits between the pair of main frames 21. Therefore, the second basket placement sections 24 of the shopping carts 1 with placement platforms stacked one behind the other do not interfere with each other, and the placement platform 3 of one shopping cart 1 with placement platforms does not interfere with the main frame 21 of the other shopping cart 2.
As a result, the shopping cart with stand 1 can be stacked when not in use, allowing it to be stored compactly without taking up space.

According to the above-described mounting table 3 of the present embodiment, an existing shopping cart can be provided with the function of a mounting table, which is convenient for situations such as providing light meals in a standing-up style at a shopping mall or the like.
Furthermore, the shopping cart 1 with a stand according to this embodiment can be used as a stand, but also as a shopping cart for transporting goods without any problems. This saves storage space, unlike the case where the stand and the shopping cart are stored separately. Furthermore, while using the shopping cart 1 with a stand, the user can use the stand 3 as needed when needed. In that case, there is no problem even if a shopping basket 4 is placed on the shopping cart 2.

In the above embodiment, the shape of the mounting portion 31 of the mounting table 3 is rectangular. However, in other embodiments, the shape may be circular or polygonal.

In the illustrated example, parts having the same configuration as the shopping cart with platform 1 described above are given the same reference numerals.

In this example, the circular mounting portion 51 has a width greater than the width of the pair of main frames 21, so the shopping carts 5 with mounting stands cannot be stacked for storage, but when the mounting stand 6 is deployed on the first basket mounting portion 23, the surface area of the mounting portion 51 on which items are placed can be made large. In addition, because the mounting portion 51 is circular, it is suitable for multiple users to use the mounting stand 3 by surrounding it.

In addition, in this embodiment, the mounting table 3 is provided with a first leg 321 and a second leg 322, but in other embodiments, it is also possible to configure the mounting table 3 without providing either the first leg 321 or the second leg 322, or without providing both legs.
In other words, when the second leg portion 322 is not provided, the rear surface of the mounting portion 31 can be directly supported by the second support portion 2112 .

In addition, when the first leg 321 is not provided, a rail is provided on the side surface of the mounting portion 31, and a groove corresponding to the rail is provided in the second frame portion 212. More preferably, the upper end of the groove and the lower end of the rail are configured to be rotatable relative to each other. To achieve the above object, the mounting stand of the present invention has a mounting section and a first leg section that is rotatably attached to the underside of the mounting section and is attached to the front end of a shopping cart equipped with a basket mounting section, and is deployed on the basket mounting section of the shopping cart and is retracted from above the basket mounting section.

The first leg and the second leg may be abutted against the underside of the placement portion when retracted.

According to the above-described embodiment of the present invention, the platform can be used as a platform for existing shopping carts, which is convenient for serving snacks in a standing-up style at shopping malls and the like.
Furthermore, the shopping cart with a stand according to this embodiment can be used as a stand, but also as a shopping cart for carrying items without any problems. This saves storage space, unlike the case where the stand and the shopping cart are stored separately. Furthermore, while using the shopping cart with a stand, the user can use the stand as needed when needed. In that case, there is no problem even if a shopping basket is placed on the shopping cart.
