Description

The present invention relates to a sheet for attaching a protective sheet to the display screen of a mobile device and an attachment system for attaching the protective sheet.

Mobile devices such as mobile phones, including the iPhone (registered trademark), are equipped with display screens made of liquid crystal or inorganic or organic electroluminescence (EL). Since there is a risk of the display screen being scratched during use, the screen is protected with a resin film such as PET. Such protective films are attached to the display screen by peeling off the release sheet to expose the adhesive part, but there are problems such as the inability to accurately determine the attachment position and the inclusion of air bubbles. In addition, when the patch layer is touched with a finger, the adhesive strength can be reduced due to sebum from the skin.

However, conventional attachment aids can attach flexible, bendable resin films such as PET. However, when it comes to hard glass sheets, which allow for some bending, the hard sheets cannot be bent like resin films such as PET, so conventional attachment aids cannot attach the glass sheet to the display screen without it slipping.

In order to solve such problems, JP 2021-43283 A discloses a sheet attachment system having "a main body for fixing a mobile device having a display screen, a protective sheet part that is attached to the display screen and has a shape similar to that of the display screen to protect the display screen, and a positioning sheet that determines the position at which the protective sheet part is attached to the display screen, the main body has a first protrusion that stands upward and a second protrusion that stands upward, the positioning sheet has a first hole that swingably engages with the first protrusion and a second hole that fits with the second protrusion, the protective sheet part is peelably attached below the positioning sheet, the first hole part is swingably placed on the first protrusion part, and the second hole part is fitted into the second protrusion part, so that both the positioning sheet and the protective sheet part are arranged at an angle to the main body part in a side view."

The above-mentioned sheet attachment system has been well received by consumers, but dust may get in when attaching the protective sheet to the display screen. That is, dirt and dust on the display screen of an electronic device such as a smartphone are wiped off with a cleaning cloth or the like, and then the protective sheet is attached to the display screen. However, even after such a procedure, dust may get in between the protective sheet and the display screen.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the above points, and its objective is to provide a sheet that can prevent as much as possible the intrusion of dust when attaching the protective sheet to a display screen, and an attachment system for attaching the protective sheet.

In order to solve the above problem, the sheet of the first aspect has a dust removal sheet portion that is temporarily attached to a display screen to remove dust from the display screen, a protective sheet with an adhesive portion for attaching to the display screen, a removable release sheet that is attached to the adhesive portion and protects the adhesive portion, and a pull-out portion that is attached to the dust removal sheet portion and the release sheet, and after the dust removal sheet portion is temporarily attached to the display screen, the pull-out portion is pulled to simultaneously pull the dust removal sheet portion and the release sheet, removing the dust removal sheet portion that was temporarily attached to the display screen from the display screen, and removing the release sheet from the adhesive portion to attach the protective sheet to the display screen.

The sheet of the second aspect is the same as that of the first aspect, except that the dust-removing sheet portion has an attachment portion, the peel-off sheet has a peel-off attachment portion, and the drawer portion is attached to the attachment portion and the peel-off attachment portion.

The third aspect of the sheet is the same as the second aspect, except that the pull-out portion has a groove in the longitudinal direction.

The present invention is configured and operates as described above, and is therefore able to provide a sheet that can prevent as much dust as possible from entering when attaching the protective sheet to a display screen, and an attachment system for attaching the protective sheet.

The present embodiment will be described below with reference to the illustrated embodiment. The sheet 10 of the present embodiment is for protecting the display screen 500 of a mobile device 600 such as a smartphone, and has a dust removal sheet portion 20 that is temporarily attached to the display screen 500 to remove dust from the display screen 500 and prevent dust from entering as much as possible, a protective sheet 40 with an adhesive portion 30 that is attached to the display screen 500 to protect the display screen 500, and a peelable release sheet 60 that is attached to the adhesive portion 30 and protects the adhesive portion 30.

The sheet 10 of this embodiment also has a drawer section 80. The drawer section 80 is attached to the dust-removing sheet section 20 and the release sheet 60. The dust-removing sheet section 20 is preferably a paper sticker. The release sheet 60 is preferably made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate).

The dust removal sheet section 20 preferably has the same shape as the display screen 500, and in this embodiment, it has a substantially rectangular shape with rounded corners. That is, the dust removal sheet section 20 has a first short side 21, a second short side 22 opposite the first short side 21, a first long side 23 perpendicular to the first short side 21, and a second long side 24 opposite the first long side 23, and has multiple rounded corners 26 with rounded corners.

The first short side 21 has an attachment portion 28 that protrudes outward from the first short side 21 and has a rectangular shape. The second short side 22 has a positioning portion 29 that protrudes outward from the second short side 22 and has a rectangular shape. The positioning portion 29 has a hole 29a. These will be described later. As shown in FIG. 3, the attachment portion 28 may be bent along the first short side 21.

The protective sheet 40 is preferably a thin glass plate, and preferably has the same shape as the display screen 500 so as to be attached to the display screen 500. The protective sheet 40 of this embodiment has a substantially rectangular shape with rounded corners. That is, the protective sheet 40 has a first protective short side 41, which is a short side, a second protective short side 42 at a position opposite the first protective short side 41, a first protective long side 43, which is a long side perpendicular to the first protective short side 41, and a second protective long side 44 at a position opposite the first protective long side 43, and has four rounded corners 46.

As described above, the back surface 51 of the protective sheet 40 has an adhesive portion 30 for attaching to the display screen 500, and a release sheet 60 is removably attached to protect the adhesive portion 30. The release sheet 60 has almost the same shape as the protective sheet 40, except for the release attachment portion 68 described later. Therefore, the release sheet 60 has a first release short side 61, which is a short side, a second release short side 62 at a position opposite the first release short side 61, a first release long side 63, which is a long side perpendicular to the first release short side 61, and a release round corner portion 66 having a rounded corner shape with a second release long side 64 at a position opposite the first release long side 63, and has a substantially rectangular shape. The above-mentioned release attachment portion 68 has a rectangular shape and is attached so as to protrude from the first release short side 61, and they are integrated. Note that the release attachment portion 68 may be folded along the first release short side 61 as shown in FIG. 3.

The protective sheet 40 is preferably glass alone, or glass integrated with a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) frame arranged to surround the glass. The protective sheet 40 is also preferably a laminate of chemically strengthened glass and a shatterproof PET film. The adhesive portion 30 is preferably coated with a silicon adsorption layer. The release sheet 60 is preferably thin so that it can be easily peeled off. For example, the thickness of the release sheet 60 is preferably about 0.05 mm. The thickness of the protective sheet portion 40 is preferably about 0.5 mm.

In addition, the back surface 71 of the dust removal sheet portion 20 has an adhesive portion 72 for temporarily attaching it to the display screen 500, and a second release sheet 90 is removably attached to it.

The dust removal sheet portion 20 also has a dust removal release sheet 90. The dust removal release sheet 90 is removably attached to the back surface 71 of the dust removal sheet portion 20 to protect the adhesive portion 72. The dust removal release sheet 90 also has substantially the same shape as the dust removal sheet 20. Therefore, the first dust removal release sheet 90 has a first dust removal short side 91, which is a short side, a second dust removal short side 92 at a position opposite the first dust removal short side 91, a first dust removal long side 93, which is a long side perpendicular to the first dust removal short side 91, and a release round corner portion 96 having a rounded corner shape with a first dust removal long side 94 at a position opposite the first dust removal long side 93, and is substantially rectangular in shape.

In addition, the dust removal sheet 90 is approximately parallel to the first dust removal short side 91, which is its short side, and has a cut line 98 near the first dust removal short side 91 for cutting off a portion of the dust removal sheet 90.

The second dust removal short side 92 also has a dust removal positioning portion 99 that protrudes outward from the second dust removal short side 92 and has a rectangular shape. The positioning portion 99 has a positioning hole portion 99a. This will be described later.

As described above, the drawer section 80 is strip-shaped and is attached to the dust-removing sheet section 20 and the release sheet 60. Specifically, one end 81 of the drawer section 80 protrudes outward from the first short side 21 of the dust-removing sheet section 20 and is attached to the mounting section 28, which is rectangular in shape.

One end 81 of the drawer section 80 is rectangular and is attached to the peel-off attachment section 68 of the peel-off sheet 60 protruding from the first peel-off short side 61. The other end 82 of the drawer section 80 has a length that protrudes outward from the second short side 22 of the dust removal sheet section 20, and serves as a handle. The drawer section 80 also has a long hole-shaped groove section 85 in the center parallel to the longitudinal direction (the direction of the above-mentioned long sides). The length of the groove section 85 in the longitudinal direction (the direction of the above-mentioned long sides) is preferably 120 mm, but is not limited to this. The drawer section 80 is preferably made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate).

A positioning sheet 50 is attached to the surface of the protective sheet 40. The positioning sheet 50 is literally intended to determine the position where the protective sheet portion 40 is attached to the display screen 500. The positioning sheet 50 is attached removably to the protective sheet 40. The positioning sheet 50 is preferably made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate).

The positioning sheet 50 has a first positioning short side 51, which is a short side, a second positioning short side 52 at a position opposite the first positioning short side 51, a first positioning long side 53 which is a long side perpendicular to the first positioning short side 51, and a positioning rounded corner portion 56 having a rounded corner shape with a second positioning long side 54 at a position opposite the first positioning long side 53.

The first positioning long side 53 of the positioning sheet 50 is longer than the first protective long side 43 of the protective sheet 40. Therefore, the entire protective sheet 40 is attached so as to overlap and occupy a portion of the positioning sheet 50.

The positioning sheet 50 is configured so that its length in the longitudinal direction is greater in plan view than the fixing portion 210 in the main body portion 200, which will be described later. The positioning sheet 50 is made of synthetic resin, and is preferably a single PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film. The thickness of the positioning sheet 50 is preferably about 0.2 millimeters.

The width of the positioning sheet 50 is preferably the same as the width of the protective sheet 40. The first hole portions 51a, 51a are arranged symmetrically on the first positioning short side 51, and the second hole portion 51b, the third hole portion 51c, and the fourth hole portion 51d are arranged inside the first hole portions 51a, 51a. The first hole portions 51a, 51a fit with the second protrusion portions 223c, 223c in the main body portion 200 described later. The second hole portion 51b, the third hole portion 51c, and the fourth hole portion 51d are for engaging with the auxiliary member 400 described later. In this way, the sheet 10 of this embodiment is integrated by attaching the positioning sheet 50, the protective sheet 40, the release sheet 60, the drawer portion 80, the dust removal sheet portion 20, and the dust removal release sheet 90 in this order from the top (see FIG. 3). The second positioning 57 has a positioning hole 57a. It prevents misalignment by engaging with the first protrusion 221b on the main body 200, which will be described later.

Next, the main body 200 for fixing the mobile device 600 having the display screen 500 will be described. The main body 200 is made of synthetic resin and is a case that can store the mobile device 600, and is preferably a so-called blister case. The main body 200 has a rectangular shape in a plan view. As described above, the main body 200 is made of synthetic resin and is integrally molded. The main body 200 has a fixing portion 210 that has a concave shape that follows the outer shape of the mobile device 600 in order to arrange and fix the mobile device 600 having the display screen 500. The fixing portion 210 has a wall portion 211 so as to contact the mobile device 600, and further has a bottom portion 220 that contacts the mobile device back portion 640 of the mobile device 600. The fixing portion 210 has a planar shape that is approximately the same as the planar shape of the mobile device 600, and its shape is a rectangle with rounded corners. In addition, when viewed from the side, the bottom surface portion 220 may preferably be inclined upward from the front end portion 223 toward the rear end portion 221.

The wall surface portion 211 is arranged to surround and stand upright around the bottom surface portion 220, and as described above, they constitute the fixing portion 210. Therefore, when an attempt is made to place a mobile device 600 on the fixing portion 210, the wall surface portion 211 is slightly bent as if being pushed apart by the mobile device 600, and the mobile device 600 is fixed to the main body portion 200.

The bottom surface portion 220 literally constitutes the bottom of the main body portion 200, and has a second bottom surface portion 220a that constitutes an even deeper bottom surface than the bottom surface portion 220. The second bottom surface portion 220a is intended to avoid interference with an external camera (not shown) that the mobile device 600 has when the external camera protrudes to the outside from the mobile device rear portion 640 of the mobile device 600.

This second bottom surface portion 220a is approximately the same width as the bottom surface portion 220, and as shown in the figure, occupies approximately one-quarter of the bottom surface portion 220. This is because the external camera (not shown) that is installed on most mobile devices 600 may be located at a position corresponding to this position.

As described above, the wall portion 211 surrounds the bottom portion 220, is gently connected to the bottom portion 220, and is arranged so as to stand upright. The upper ends of the wall portion 211 are connected to the rear end portion 221 and both side ends 222, and to the front end portion 223. As described above, the rear end portion 221 and both side ends 222, and to the front end portion 223 are integrally configured so as to be continuous with each other.

The rear end 221 has a flat surface portion 221a at a position lower in height from the bottom surface portion 220 than both ends, and has a first protrusion 221b that is approximately cylindrical and stands upward U in the center of the left and right of the rear end 221. In addition, a second protrusion 221c that is rectangular in shape is provided outward from the first protrusion 221b.

As described above, the first protrusion 221b has a substantially cylindrical shape. The first protrusion 221b also engages with the long hole-shaped groove 85 in the drawer 80. Therefore, the first protrusion 221b restricts the direction in which the drawer 80 is pulled out from the front end 223 to the rear end 221 (the longitudinal direction of each of the long sides described below), allowing the drawer 80 to be pulled out without tilting.

The front end 223 has flat front end planar portions 223a, 223a at a position lower from the bottom surface 220 than the side end portions 222, 222, and has a locking portion 223b that protrudes upward in the U direction and has a rectangular shape in a plan view on a second front end planar portion 223aa, which is even lower between the front end planar portions 223a, 223a. The front end planar portions 223a, 223a also have second protrusions 223c, 223c that stand upward in the U direction and have a roughly cylindrical shape.

The device may also have a lid 360 that is a rectangular lid when viewed from above. The lid 360 is arranged to cover the main body 200 to prevent dust from entering. The lid 360 has a horizontally elongated opening 370 that is long in the width direction. From this opening 370, the drawer 80 can be pulled out, as described below.

Next, the auxiliary member 400 will be described. The auxiliary member 400 is attached to the positioning sheet 50 to strengthen the positioning function of the main body 200 and the positioning sheet 50. The auxiliary member 400 has an auxiliary member main body 410 that is rectangular in plan view, and auxiliary member whisker portions 450, 450 that are curved and resemble Kaiser whiskers, so to speak, located on both sides. The auxiliary member main body 410 also has an end portion 411 that is an end portion. The end portion 411 can engage with the locking portion 223b.

The auxiliary member main body 410 of the auxiliary member 400 has a first auxiliary protrusion 420, a second auxiliary protrusion 430, and a third auxiliary protrusion 440 that respectively fit into the first auxiliary part fitting hole 320, the second auxiliary part fitting hole 330, and the third auxiliary part fitting hole 340 described above.

The auxiliary member 400 having the above configuration is attached to the positioning sheet 50. That is, the second hole portion 51b, the third hole portion 51c, and the fourth hole portion 51d in the positioning sheet 50 are arranged so as to fit into the first auxiliary protrusion portion 420, the second auxiliary protrusion portion 430, and the third auxiliary protrusion portion 440, respectively.

The sheet application system 800 may have a main body 200 and a sheet unit 10, and these may be sold as a single unit. The sheet application system 800 may also further have a lid unit 360.

Next, a method of using the sheet unit 10 will be described. A method of placing a mobile device 600 on the main body unit 200 of the sheet attachment system 10 configured as described above and attaching the protective sheet 40 of the sheet 10 to its display screen 500 will be described. Note that the auxiliary member 400 can also be attached to the positioning sheet 50 (see FIG. 7A).

After placing the mobile device 600 having the display screen 500 on the fixed portion 210 of the main body portion 200, the positioning sheet 50 of the sheet portion 10 is placed on the main body portion 200 so as to cover the mobile device 600. At that time, the first holes 51a, 51a are positioned so as to fit into the second protrusions 223c, 223c (see FIG. 7B).

Next, the dust removal release sheet 90 that is attached to protect the adhesive portion 72 of the dust removal sheet portion 20 is peeled off along the cut line 98, and a part of the dust removal release sheet 90 is removed. This exposes a part of the adhesive portion 72. Note that the dust removal release sheet 90 is preferably made of paper coated with PP (polypropylene).

Then, the positioning hole 99a in the peel-off positioning portion 99 is engaged with the first protrusion 221b, and a portion of the dust-removing sheet portion 20 is attached so as to be positioned on the display screen 500. Note that the first holes 51a, 51a are arranged to fit into the second protrusions 123c, 123c (see, for example, FIG. 7B), so that the portion of the dust-removing sheet portion 20 can be attached without being misaligned with the display screen 500.

Then, a part of the dust removal sheet 20 is lifted to disengage the positioning hole 99a from the first protrusion 221b, the remaining dust removal sheet 90 is peeled off, and the entire dust removal sheet 90 is attached to the display screen 500 of the mobile device 600 placed on the main body 200. The hole 29a of the positioning portion 29 of the dust removal sheet 20 is engaged with the first protrusion 221b. At the same time, the positioning hole 57a and the groove 85 are also engaged. In this way, the entire dust removal sheet 20 is attached to the display screen 500, and the entire dust removal sheet 20 can be attached to the display screen 500 without being misaligned (see FIG. 8). At this time, even if dust is attached to the display screen 500, the dust will adhere to the dust removal sheet 90.

Then, the cover 360 is placed over the main body 200 while engaging the first protrusion 221b with the groove 85 in the drawer 80 of the sheet 10, and the drawer 80 is removed from the opening 370 of the cover 360.

Next, the drawn-out drawer 80 is pulled from the opening 370. At this time, the first protrusion 221b is engaged with the groove 85 in the drawer 80, so the drawer 80 can be drawn out along the longitudinal direction of the groove 85 (the direction of each of the long sides described above) (see Figures 9 and 10).

As the drawer section 80 is pulled out, the dust removal sheet section 20 and the release sheet 60 attached to the drawer section 80 are pulled. At this time, the dust removal sheet section 20 temporarily attached to the display screen 500 tries to be peeled off from the display screen 500. As a result, dust adhering to the display screen 500 sticks to the dust removal sheet section 20 and is removed.

At the same time, the release sheet 60 is peeled off from the protective sheet 40, exposing the adhesive portion 30. Furthermore, when the drawer portion 80 is pulled out, the dust removal sheet portion 20 is completely peeled off from the display screen 500, and at the same time, the adhesive portion 30 on the protective sheet 40 is completely exposed. Note that if the bottom surface portion 220 is inclined upward from the front end portion 223 toward the rear end portion 221 in a side view, it becomes easier to pull out the drawer portion 80.

The positioning hole 57a in the positioning sheet 50 engages with the first protrusion 221b, pressing the positioning sheet 50 and attaching the protective sheet 40 to the display screen 500 (see Figure 11).

Then, by peeling the positioning sheet 50 off the protective sheet 40, only the protective sheet 40 can be attached to the display screen 500 (see FIG. 12). In this way, by peeling the dust removal sheet portion 20 off the display screen 500 and attaching the protective sheet 40 to the display screen 500 at the same time, dust adhering to the display screen 500 is removed and the protective sheet 40 is attached to the display screen 500 immediately before dust adheres thereto, so that the possibility of dust getting in between the display screen 500 and the protective sheet 40 can be reduced as much as possible. Even when the lid 360 is used, the drawer portion 80 can be pulled out from the opening 370 of the lid 360, so that dust can be further prevented from getting in.
