The present invention relates to a can attachment device for attaching cans to products as prizes for sale.

In some cases, prizes are attached to products to be sold for the purpose of sales promotion. In such cases, for example, if the product is canned beer, one method is to place the prize in a rectangular box and attach it by inserting an insert piece into the gap of a sleeve-shaped multipack (Patent Document 1). However, with the method described in Patent Document 1, in addition to the cost of manufacturing the rectangular box, there is the problem that the series of tasks of assembling the box, sealing the prize in, and attaching it to the product requires a lot of manpower, which is not inconsiderable cost.

On the other hand, in recent years, canned fish and meat are increasingly being used as beer giveaways. These cans are made of metal, so they are strong enough in themselves, and because they have printing or other processes applied to the surface, there is no need to take the trouble of enclosing them in a paper box. This has created a demand for new attachment parts that are suitable for canned goods.

The problem that this invention aims to solve is to propose a simple attachment member for attaching cans to merchandise as prizes.

As a means for solving the above problem, the invention described in claim 1 is a can attachment device for attaching a can having a seaming portion only on either the top or bottom surface to another object, characterized in that the can attachment device has a front panel having a first opening smaller than the seaming portion of the can and through which the body of the can to be attached can pass, and a back panel having a second opening through which information printed on the lid of the can to be attached can be visually observed, at least opposing edges of the front panel and back panel are fixed, and the front panel or back panel has an attachment portion for attachment to an object.

The can mounting member of the present invention has a very simple structure consisting of a front panel and a mounting part, so it can be manufactured at low cost.

The can attachment member of the present invention can be rotated around the attachment part of the can attachment member as a pivot, and information such as the expiration date and best before date printed on the can lid can be visually observed through the second opening in the back panel.

The attachment portion may be an insertion piece protruding from one or two sides of the front panel.

The attachment portion may be an adhesive provided on the rear surface of the front plate.

A plurality of cuts may be provided around the first opening .

The canned food attachment member according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a state in which a canned food 10 is attached to an object 20 using one embodiment of the canned food attachment member 1 according to the present invention. Fig. 2 is a schematic plan view of the canned food attachment member 1 shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional explanatory view showing a state in which a canned food 10 is attached using the canned food attachment member 1 shown in Fig. 2.

The can attachment member 1 of the present invention is a can attachment member 1 for attaching a can 10 having a seaming portion 12 only on either the top or bottom surface to another object, and is characterized in having a front panel 2 having an opening 4 smaller than the seaming portion 12 of the can, through which the body 11 of the can 10 to be attached can pass, and an attachment portion 3 for attaching the front panel 2 to an object 20.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, as shown in Fig. 2, it is composed of a front panel 2 and an insertion piece 5 as an attachment part 3. In this example, the material used for the can attachment member 1 can be ordinary cardboard, as well as plastic or metal plates. Plastic materials that have the property of retaining the shape of the insert piece when folded are suitable for use. A metal plate such as thick aluminum foil can also be added to the back side of the insert piece 5.

In the example shown in Figure 2, there are two fold lines on each side. This is because there are two types of products with different widths to be attached, and it is possible to fold one of the two fold lines to fit the item.

Figure 4 is a schematic plan view showing another embodiment of the can attachment member 1 according to the present invention. Also, Figure 5 is a cross-sectional explanatory diagram showing the state in which a can 10 is attached using the can attachment member 1 shown in Figure 4.

In this example, the attachment portion 3 is an adhesive 6 provided on the back surface of the front panel 2. The adhesive 6 may be provided directly on the back surface of the front panel 2, or may be provided partially using a double-sided adhesive tape or the like. When an adhesive is used, the attachment of the can 10 to the item 20 can be completed with an even simpler operation of just peeling off the release paper.

Figure 6 is a schematic plan view showing another embodiment of the can attachment member 1 according to the present invention. This example is characterized by the provision of multiple notches 7 around the opening 4 of the front panel 2. The presence of the notches 7 allows the diameter of the opening 4 to be slightly smaller than the diameter of the body 11 of the can 10. This is because when the body 11 of the can 10 is inserted into the opening 4, the notches 7 open, allowing the body 11 to be inserted with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the opening 4.

By doing this, the can 10 is held tightly in the can attachment member 1 and does not rattle.

Figure 7 is a schematic plan view showing one embodiment of a canned food attachment member 30 according to another aspect of the present invention. Figure 8 is a cross-sectional explanatory view showing a state in which a canned food 10 is attached using the canned food attachment member 30 shown in Figure 7. In this example, a first opening 32 is provided on the front plate 31, similar to the canned food attachment member 1 described above. A back plate 33 is connected to the front plate 31, and a second opening 34 is provided on the back plate 33. Furthermore, parts not specifically described may be similar to the embodiment described above.

After the body 11 of the can 10 is inserted into the first opening 32, the back panel 33 is folded back towards the seaming section 12 and overlapped with the front panel 31, and is attached to the front panel 31 by a glue tab 35 to secure the opposing edges 36, 36'. This prevents the can 10 from falling off towards the seaming section 12. The insertion piece 5 as the attachment section 3 can then be folded along the fold line, and an adhesive 6 such as double-sided adhesive tape is applied to the surface, which can then be attached to the item 20, making it easy to attach to the item 20.

In this embodiment, the canned food attachment member 30 has the insertion piece 5 as the attachment portion 3 provided only on one side, so that the canned food attachment member 30 can be rotated around the attachment portion 3 as the central axis, as shown in FIG. 8(b). When the canned food attachment member 30 is rotated, the back plate 33 side becomes visible, and since the back plate 33 has a second opening 34, information printed on the lid of the canned food 10, such as the best-before date, expiry date, and date of manufacture, can be read through the second opening 34, and it is possible to easily check whether the canned food has expired. There are no particular limitations on the position, size, and shape of the second opening 34 as long as it is suitable for the above-mentioned use, and it may be set and provided as appropriate.

Although not specifically shown, after attaching the back panel 33 to the front panel 31 as described above, the insertion piece 5 may be folded along the fold line and inserted into the front panel of an article, etc. for attachment. Also, a weak adhesive that is easy to peel off may be applied to the side of the back panel 33 where the insertion piece 5 is not provided.

Claims (5)

A can attachment device for attaching a can having a seaming portion only on either the top or bottom surface to another article, the can attachment device having a front panel with a first opening through which the body of the can to be attached can pass and which is smaller than the seaming portion of the can, and a back panel with a second opening through which information printed on the lid of the can to be attached can be visually observed, at least opposing edges of the front panel and back panel are fixed, and the front panel or back panel has an attachment portion for attaching the can to an article. The can attachment member according to claim 1, characterized in that the attachment portion is an insert piece that protrudes from one or two sides of the front panel. The can attachment member according to claim 1, characterized in that the attachment portion is an adhesive provided on the back surface of the front panel. 4. The can attachment member according to claim 1, further comprising a plurality of cuts provided around the first opening . 5. An article having a can attached thereto, comprising: a can placed in the first opening of the front panel of the can attachment member according to claim 1; and the can attachment member being attached to an article by means of an attachment portion.
