Description

The present invention relates to a notebook.

Various notebooks for use in office work, study, etc. have been known for some time (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In this type of notebook, the top of the inside pages are provided with a heading column. The user fills in the heading column on the inside pages with the required information items (for example, when managing the usage history of an item, the "item name," "user," "date of use," "purpose of use," etc.) and specific information is written in the corresponding positions below in order.

However, with conventional systems, users had to enter information items in the heading entry column of a new inner page every time they changed pages, which was cumbersome for the user.

The present invention was made with the above in mind, and aims to provide a notebook that can conveniently eliminate the inconvenience of having to enter information items in the heading entry column of a new inner page every time the inner page is changed.

That is, the present invention has the following configuration.

The invention described in claim 1 is a notebook in which a ring-shaped binding member is used to bind a plurality of inner pages between a pair of front and back covers, the inner pages having a vertical dimension or horizontal dimension shorter than each of the front and back covers, the front and back covers being set to the size of A3, A4, A5, B4, or B5 as defined by the JIS standard, and a paper flap set to approximately the same size as the front and back covers is bound only between the front and back covers and the inner pages, and A plurality of binding material insertion holes through which the ring-shaped binding members are inserted are formed on each binding origin side of the back cover, a plurality of binding material insertion holes through which the ring-shaped binding members are inserted are formed on each binding origin side of the inner paper, and a plurality of binding material insertion holes through which the ring-shaped binding members are inserted are formed on each binding origin side of the front cover, and a heading entry column in which the user can write any heading information is provided in the end area on the inner side of the front cover that is not covered by the inner paper when the book is opened.

The invention described in claim 2 is the notebook described in claim 1, wherein the plurality of inner pages have a vertical dimension that is shorter than the front cover and the back cover , and the end region is an upper end region located above the inner pages.

The invention described in claim 3 is a notebook according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the heading entry column is provided with an upper guide line extending in the left-right direction, a lower guide line that is parallel to and below the upper guide line and has the same length as the upper guide line, and a writing surface provided between the upper and lower guide lines.

The invention described in claim 4 is the notebook described in claim 3, in which dot-shaped markers are provided at regular intervals on the upper guide line and the lower guide line so as to match their positions in the left-right direction.

The invention described in claim 5 is a notebook as described in claims 1, 2, 3 or 4, in which the inner paper has a plurality of ruled lines extending in the left-right direction, and these ruled lines have dot- like markers provided at regular intervals.

As described above, the present invention provides a notebook that can at least advantageously eliminate the inconvenience of having to enter information items in the heading entry column of a new inner page each time the inner page is changed.

One embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 1 to 8. Note that in the drawings, for ease of understanding, the part that corresponds to the "internal paper 3" is colored (gray).

The notebook shown in this embodiment is of a configuration generally known as a ring notebook.

The notebook is made by binding a plurality of inner pages 3, each of which is shorter in vertical dimension than the front cover 1 and the back cover 2, between a pair of paper covers, i.e., a front cover 1 and a back cover 2, using a ring-shaped binding member 4.

The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are vertically long rectangular. The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the same size. The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the size of A3, A4, A5, B4, or B5 as defined by the JIS standard. In this embodiment, the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the size of A4.

The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are made of paper. This is because a material was selected that allows the user to flexibly write and erase information item J, which is any heading information, in the heading entry fields M1 and M2 described below.

On the binding origin side of each of the front cover 1 and back cover 2, multiple binding member insertion holes 11, 21 are formed through which the ring-shaped binding member 4 is inserted. In addition, near the upper end of the binding origin side of the front cover 1 and back cover 2, hanging string insertion holes 12, 22 are formed through which the hanging string H is inserted.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the inside surface of the back cover 2 has a number of lines f extending in the left-right direction and arranged at regular intervals in the up-down direction. Each line f has dot-shaped marks (reference numbers omitted) of the same shape, which are known configurations, arranged at regular intervals. As with the example of the back cover 2 in FIG. 5, it is of course possible to provide lines on the inside surface of the front cover 1 shown in FIG. 4.

The inner paper 3 is bound between the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. Each of the multiple inner paper sheets 3 is the same size. The inner paper 3 is rectangular with a shorter vertical dimension than the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. On the other hand, the left-right dimension of the inner paper 3 is set to be approximately the same as the left-right dimension of the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. A number of binding member insertion holes 31 through which the ring-shaped binding members 4 are inserted are formed on each binding base side of the inner paper 3.

The position of the bottom edge 3e of the inner page 3 is approximately aligned with the positions of the bottom edges 1e, 2e of the front cover 1 and the back cover 2. In other words, the inner page 3 is shorter than the front cover 1 and the back cover 2.

The inner paper 3 has multiple ruled lines k extending in the left-right direction and arranged at regular intervals in the up-down direction. Each ruled line f has dot-shaped marks (reference numbers omitted) of a known configuration arranged at regular intervals.

In addition, the front cover 1 and back cover 2 of the notebook in this embodiment are provided with heading entry columns M1 and M2 in which the user can enter any heading information, that is, information item J, in the end areas R1 and R2 on the inner side that are not covered by the inner page 3 when the notebook is open (see Figures 4 to 7).

The heading columns M1 and M2 are provided in the lower half of the upper end regions R1 and R2 of the front cover 1 and back cover 2, i.e., in the upper end regions R1 and R2, close to the upper end of the inner page 3. In other words, the heading columns M1 and M2 are displayed in the upper end regions R1 and R2 of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 so as to run along the upper end of the inner page 3.

The heading entry columns M1 and M2 are provided with an upper guide line g1 that extends linearly in the left-right direction, a lower guide line g2 that is parallel to and below the upper guide line g1 and has the same length as the upper guide line g1, and a writing surface g3 that is provided between the upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2.

The upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2 have dot-shaped marks da and db of multiple shapes that are aligned in the left-right direction and are provided at regular intervals.

The writing surface g3 is a strip-shaped area that is longitudinal in the left-right direction and is bounded by an upper guide line g1 and a lower guide line g2. The writing surface g3 is designed so that the user can write information items J, which are predetermined heading information that will serve as headings, at their discretion.

Figure 7 shows a more specific example of the entry of information item J. That is, when managing the usage history of a camera, which is an item, the predetermined information items J that serve as headings to be entered on the entry surface g3 can include "item name (camera number)", "user", "date taken out", "purpose of use", "return date", and "remarks".

On the writing surface g3, a vertical line S1 can be displayed by connecting dots da, db at specific positions on the upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2. In the heading entry fields M1 and M2, a display frame W that surrounds a specific information item J can be provided by cooperating the upper guide line g1, the lower guide line g2, and the vertical line S1.

The user can use a tool such as a ruler that is convenient for drawing straight lines to draw a straight line connecting the dot-shaped marks da and db in the heading columns M1 and M2 and the dot-shaped marks on the ruled line k of the inner paper 3. In other words, the user can display a vertical line S2 on the inner paper 3 so that it matches the vertical line S1 drawn in the heading columns M1 and M2.

As described above, the notebook according to this embodiment uses a ring-shaped binding member 4 to bind a number of inner pages 3, each of which is set shorter in the vertical dimension than the front cover 1 and back cover 2, between a pair of paper covers made of the front cover 1 and back cover 2. The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the size of A3, A4, A5, B4, or B5 as defined by the JIS standard. The notebook has heading entry columns M1, M2 in which the user can enter information item J, which is any heading information, in the upper end regions R1, R2, which are the end regions on the inner side of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 that are not covered by the inner pages 3 when the notebook is open.

Therefore, this embodiment of the invention can provide a notebook that can at least conveniently eliminate the inconvenience of having to enter information items into the heading entry column of a new inner page each time the inner page is changed.

In other words, the user can refer to the heading columns M1 and M2 on the front cover 1 and back cover 2 in common when using each of the multiple inner pages 3.

Therefore, in the notebook according to this embodiment, by simply providing a specific information item J in the heading columns M1 and M2 on the front cover 1 and back cover 2, the inside pages 3 can be used while referring to the heading columns M1 and M2.

In addition, the front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the size of A3, A4, A5, B4, or B5 as specified by the JIS standard, making them highly suitable for storage when not in use and convenient for the user to handle.

The heading entry columns M1 and M2 are provided with an upper guide line g1 extending in the left-right direction, a lower guide line g2 that is parallel to and below the upper guide line g1 and has the same length as the upper guide line g1, and a writing surface g3 that is provided between the upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2.

This allows the user to easily write the various heading information that makes up the heading, i.e., the information items J, on the writing surface g3 specified between the upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2, which can contribute to the creation of beautiful headings.

Dot-shaped marks da and db are provided at regular intervals on the upper guide line g1 and the lower guide line g2, matching their positions in the left-right direction.

Therefore, the user can conveniently create a display frame W that surrounds the information item J that serves as the heading by connecting the mark da on the upper guide line g1 and the mark db on the lower guide line g2 with a vertical line S1.

The inner paper 3 has multiple ruled lines k arranged in the left-right direction, and these ruled lines k have dot-shaped markers at regular intervals.

This makes it possible to create a very neat vertical line S2 on the inner page 3 that matches the vertical line S1 of the heading columns M1 and M2.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above.

For example, the note may have a structure as shown in FIG.

The notebook is constructed with a paper flap 5, which is an intermediate paper set to approximately the same size as the front cover 1 and back cover 2, bound between the front cover 1 and the inner page 3, and between the back cover 2 and the inner page 3. In this embodiment, a heading entry section M5 is provided in which the user can write any heading information in the upper end region R5, which is the end region on the inner side of the flap 5 that is not covered by the inner page 3 when the notebook is open.

That is, the notebook shown in FIG. 9 is a notebook in which a plurality of inner pages 3, each of which is set to be shorter in vertical dimension than the front cover 1 and back cover 2, are bound between a pair of covers, a front cover 1 and a back cover 2, using a ring-shaped binding member 4. The front cover 1 and back cover 2 are set to the size of A3, A4, A5, B4, or B5 as specified by the JIS standard. Furthermore, in this embodiment, a paper flap 5, which is set to approximately the same size as the front cover 1 and back cover 2, is bound between the front cover 1 and the inner page 3, and between the back cover 2 and the inner page 3, respectively. The notebook has a heading entry column M5 in which the user can write any heading information in the upper end area R5, which is the end area on the inner side of each flap 5 that is not covered by the inner page 3 when the notebook is opened.

The position of the bottom edge 3e of the inner paper 3 is approximately aligned with the positions of the bottom edges 1e, 2e, and 5e of the front cover 1, back cover 2, and flap paper 5. In other words, the inner paper 3 is shorter than the front cover 1, back cover 2, and flap paper 5.

The front cover 1 and back cover 2 in the above-mentioned embodiment are similar to the examples in the above-mentioned embodiment in that the inner side of each flap 5 has a heading entry field M5, the heading entry field M5 has an upper guide line g1, a lower guide line g2, and a writing surface g3, the binding material insertion hole 51 and the string insertion hole 52 are provided on the binding end side of the flap 5, and the flap 5 located between the inner paper 3 and the back cover 2 has a ruled line f. In other words, the other example shown in FIG. 9 is one in which the various display items provided on the inner side of the front cover 1 and back cover 2 in the above-mentioned embodiment are provided on the flap 5.

Even with this, the intended purpose can be achieved. In the other embodiment shown in FIG. 9, it is not necessary to consider that the user will write characters on the front cover 1 and back cover 2. Therefore, the front cover 1 and back cover 2 can be made of a material with excellent strength (for example, made of synthetic resin), and there is a high degree of freedom in designing to provide a notebook with excellent durability.

In addition, various modifications can be made to the configuration of the notebook without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

Needless to say, various configurations of binding members can be used.

The inner pages may be set between the pair of covers so that their left-right dimensions are shorter than the pair of covers. In this way, it is possible to conveniently provide a heading entry column in the side edge area (the area located on the opposite side to the binding side) of the pair of covers.

The specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

A notebook in which a ring-shaped binding member is used to bind a plurality of inner pages between a pair of front and back covers, the inner pages having vertical or horizontal dimensions shorter than the respective covers,
