Description

The technical field disclosed in this specification relates to a cooking container set that allows bowls or colanders to be stacked and stored.

In kitchens, bowls and colanders of different sizes are stocked so that they can be used for different purposes (see, for example, Patent Document 1, Patent Document 2, and Patent Document 3). Conventionally, bowls and colanders of different sizes have been stored, for example, in a drawer under the sink, stacked with their openings facing upwards.

There are many cooking utensils in the kitchen, and it is desirable to store them conveniently in a small space. Conventional methods for storing bowls and colanders involve stacking them to reduce storage space, but this results in wasted space above the bowls and colanders, which takes up storage space for other cooking utensils. Therefore, there was room for improvement in the storage of bowls and colanders.

The technology disclosed in this specification has been made to solve the problems of the conventional technology described above. In other words, the objective is to provide a technology that can store multiple bowls and colanders compactly and efficiently.

The cooking container set that has been made to solve this problem is characterized in that (1) it is a cooking container set having a plurality of cooking containers, the plurality of cooking containers being bowls or colanders, and the bowls or colanders can stand on their own with the openings of the bowls or colanders facing sideways when stacked.

The cooking container set of the above configuration allows the bowls and colanders to be stored in a storage location with the openings facing sideways, stacked, and upright, so the storage space required is smaller than if the bowls and colanders were stacked with their openings facing upwards. The space freed up by using the cooking container set can be used to store other cooking utensils. Thus, the cooking container set of the above configuration allows multiple bowls and colanders to be stored compactly and efficiently.

(2) In the cooking container set described in (1), when the multiple cooking containers are stacked and stand on their own, it is preferable that the other cooking containers are stored inside the largest cooking container.

When the cooking container set with the above configuration includes bowls and colanders stacked and standing upright, all of the cooking containers that make up the cooking container set can be stored in the storage space of the largest cooking container. Therefore, with the cooking containers with the above configuration, bowls and colanders can be stored neatly and with a good appearance without creating unnecessary storage space.

(3) In the cooking vessel set described in (1) or (2), it is preferable that the bowl or colander has a flat surface formed by flattening a portion of the peripheral wall, and can stand independently when stacked with the flat surface facing down.

The cooking container set configured as above has a simple structure that allows the bowls and colanders to be stacked and stand independently.

(4) In the cooking vessel set described in (3), it is preferable that the bowl or colander stand upright in a forward-leaning position inclined toward the open edge.

The cooking container set configured as above stabilizes the center of gravity balance of the bowls and colanders, whether they are stacked and stand upright or stand upright individually.

(5) In the cooking vessel set described in (4), it is preferable that when the bowl or colander is freestanding, the opening edge is inclined toward the opening side within a range of 5° to 20° with respect to the installation surface against which the flat surface abuts.

The cooking container set configured as above can stand stably and independently whether the bowls or colanders are stacked or stand alone.

(6) In the cooking vessel set described in (1), the bowls include a first bowl and a second bowl that is stacked on the outside of the first bowl, the first bowl includes a first arc-shaped arc wall, a flat first flat surface, and a first connecting wall that connects both ends of the first flat surface to the first arc wall, the second bowl includes a second arc-shaped arc wall, a flat second flat surface with an area larger than the first flat surface, and a second connecting wall that connects both ends of the second flat surface to the second arc wall, and the first bowl and the second bowl are stacked together with the first flat surface and the second flat surface, and the first connecting wall and the second connecting wall in contact with each other, and are preferably self-supporting.

When the cooking vessel set of the above configuration is made to have the first bowl and second bowl stacked and stand on their own, the first bowl on the inside abuts the first flat surface and first connecting wall against the second flat surface and first connecting wall of the second bowl, and the first bowl and second bowl support each other, allowing the first bowl and second bowl to stand independently stably when stacked.

(7) In the cooking vessel set described in any one of (1) to (6), it is preferable that the cooking vessel set has a measuring spoon that is engaged with the opening edge of the bowl so as to maintain a horizontal position.

The cooking container set configured as above allows the measuring spoon to be attached to the opening edge of the bowl so that it remains in a horizontal position, making it easy to handle the measuring spoon.

(8) In the cooking vessel set described in any one of (1) to (7), it is preferable that the plurality of cooking vessels includes a bowl formed of a copolyester resin.

The cooking container set configured as above is easy to use because it has a bowl made of copolyester resin that is transparent, heat-resistant, cold-resistant, and impact-resistant, and is gentle on the human body.

The technology disclosed in this specification makes it possible to store multiple bowls and colanders in a compact and efficient manner.

The following describes in detail an embodiment of the cooking vessel set and bowl of the present invention with reference to the attached drawings. In this embodiment, the present invention is applied to a cooking vessel set having a bowl and multiple bowls.

Figure 1 is an external perspective view of bowls 2, 3, 4 and a colander 5 that constitute a cooking container set 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention. The cooking container set 1 of this embodiment includes a large bowl 2, a medium bowl 3, a small bowl 4, and a colander 5. The large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, and the small bowl 4 are examples of "bowls." If the small bowl 4 is an example of a "first bowl," the medium bowl 3 is an example of a "second bowl," and if the medium bowl 3 is an example of a "first bowl," the large bowl 2 is an example of a "second bowl." The cooking container set 1 further includes a measuring spoon 6 (see Figures 5 and 6), which will be described later.

As shown in FIG. 1, the large bowl 2 and the medium bowl 3 are formed in the same approximately hemispherical shape, except for their size. The small bowl 4 is formed in the same approximately hemispherical shape as the medium bowl 3, except for their size and spout 46. The spout 46 is located opposite the flat surface 42b, which will be described later. The colander 5 is a hemispherical shape that is smaller in size than the small bowl 4. The opening edge 50 of the colander 5 is bent outward so that it can be hooked onto the opening edge 40 of the small bowl 4.

The large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 can be stacked in a nested manner. The opening edges 20, 30, 40, and 50 of the stacked large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 are aligned in approximately the same position, and the opening edges 30, 40, and 50 do not protrude beyond the opening edge 20.

The large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 may be made of the same material or different materials. For example, the large bowl 2 and medium bowl 3 are made of a transparent resin, and the small bowl 4 and colander 5 are made of a colored resin. In this embodiment, the large bowl 2 and medium bowl 3 are made of a copolyester resin (for example, "TRITAN (registered trademark) copolyester resin", manufactured by Eastman Chemical Company), which has excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance and is gentle on the human body. The small bowl 4 and colander 5 are made of an inexpensive material such as polypropylene.

Figure 2 shows a freestanding cooking container set 1. Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line A-A in Figure 2. The large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 each have peripheral walls 22, 32, 42, and 52 along the outer periphery of the circular bottom walls 21, 31, 41, and 51, respectively, and are provided with openings 28, 38, 48, and 58 that open to one side.

As shown in FIG. 3, the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 have legs 25, 35, 45, and 55 standing on the outer surfaces of the bottom walls 21, 31, 41, and 51.

As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, and the small bowl 4 are formed so that the opening edges 20, 30, and 40 rise linearly with the same thickness (e.g., 3 mm).

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the peripheral walls 22, 32, 42, and 52 each include an arc-shaped arc wall 22a, 32a, 42a, and 52a, and a flat surface 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b. The flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b are connected to the arc walls 22a, 32a, 42a, and 52a at both circumferential ends of the peripheral walls 22, 32, 42, and 52 via connecting walls 22c, 22c, 32c, 32c, 42c, 42c, 52c, and 52c.

As shown in FIG. 1, the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b are rectangular, and the length and width of the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b are smaller in the order of the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5.

As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting walls 22c, 22c, 32c, 32c, 42c, 42c, 52c, 52c are arranged so that adjacent connecting walls abut against each other when the cooking container set 1 is self-supporting with the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 stacked on top of each other with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, 52b facing down.

Figure 4 is a side view of the bowls 2, 3, 4 and colander 5 that constitute the cooking vessel set 1. Figure 4 shows the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 each standing on the installation surface 10. The large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 are provided with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, 52b so that they are inclined forward at the same inclination angle θ toward the opening edge 20, 30, 40, 50 when they are individually standing on the flat installation surface 10 with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, 52b facing down. In other words, the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 are provided with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, 52b so that the angle between the opening edge 20, 30, 40, 50 and the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, 52b is 180°-inclination angle θ. In this embodiment, the inclination angle θ at which the opening edges 20, 30, 40, and 50 are inclined relative to the installation surface 10 is set within a range of 5° to 20°, and more preferably within a range of 10° to 15°.

As shown in FIG. 3, the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b are formed with the same thickness. Therefore, even when the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 are stacked and stand on the installation surface 10 with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b facing down, they are in a forward-leaning position inclined by the inclination angle θ toward the opening edges 20, 30, 40, and 50.

Figures 5 and 6 are external perspective views of the large bowl 2 holding the measuring spoon 6. The measuring spoon 6 has a first measuring part 62, which corresponds to a large spoon, provided at one end of the handle 61, and a second measuring part 63, which corresponds to a teaspoon, provided at the other end of the handle 61. The first measuring part 62 and the second measuring part 63 are each formed in a spoon shape, and a locking part 64 is provided at the tip of the first measuring part 62.

The locking portion 64 is locked to the opening edge 20 so as to keep the measuring spoon 6 in a horizontal position. The locking portion 64 has an insertion recess 64a into which the opening edge 20 is inserted. The insertion recess 64a is formed from the bottom side of the first measuring portion 62 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the measuring spoon 6, and is formed with a width approximately equal to the thickness of the opening edges 20, 30, 40 of the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, and small bowl 4. Note that the opening edges 30, 40 of the medium bowl 3 and small bowl 4 are provided in the same manner as the opening edge 20 of the large bowl 2, so that the measuring spoon 6 is locked to the opening edges 30, 40 in the same manner as the large bowl 2.

The cooking container set 1 described above can be stored in a drawer 200 under a kitchen sink with the openings 28, 38, 48, 58 facing sideways, the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 stacked and standing upright, as shown in FIG. 7. Therefore, the cooking container set 1 requires less storage space than a case in which multiple colanders or bowls 210 without flat surfaces are stacked with their openings facing upwards and stored in the drawer 200, as shown by the dotted line in FIG. 7. The space saved by using the cooking container set 1 can be used to store other cooking utensils. Therefore, according to the cooking container set 1 of this embodiment, the large bowl 2, the medium bowl 3, the small bowl 4, and the colander 5 can be stored compactly and efficiently. In addition, the storage capacity of the kitchen can be improved.

As shown in FIG. 3, when the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 are stacked and stand upright, the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 that make up the cooking container set 1 can all be stored in the storage space of the large bowl 2. Therefore, with the cooking container set 1, the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 can be stored neatly and with a good appearance without creating any wasted storage space.

As shown in FIG. 3, the cooking container set 1 has the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 with flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b, which are formed by flattening parts of the peripheral walls 22, 32, 42, and 52, and can stand on their own when stacked with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b facing down. This allows the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 to stand on their own when stacked with a simple structure, without providing any extra protrusions on the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, or colander 5. In addition, the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 can be supported by hand while cooking by supporting the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b, making it easy to cook using the large bowl 2, etc.

As shown in FIG. 4, the cooking container set 1 stands on its own in a forward-leaning position with the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 tilted toward the opening edges 20, 30, and 40 at an inclination angle θ. Therefore, the cooking container set 1 can stabilize the center of gravity balance of the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 whether they stand on their own in a stacked state as shown in FIG. 3, or individually as shown in FIG. 4.

In addition, when the cooking container set 1 is made up of the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 stacked on top of each other and placed on its own with the flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b facing down, the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 abut and support each other with their adjacent flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b and with their adjacent connecting walls 22c, 22c, 32c, 32c, 42c, 42c, 52c, and 52c abutting each other, so that the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 can stand independently and stably when stacked on top of each other.

In this way, when the cooking container set 1 is allowed to stand independently with the large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 stacked on top of each other, the center of gravity is balanced stably, and adjacent containers support each other to stand independently, so that the set is unlikely to tip over even if vibrations occur when, for example, the drawer 200 is opened or closed.

When using the large bowl 2, for example, the user removes the cooking container set 1 from the drawer 200. The user places the large bowl 2 on the workbench, and stores the remaining medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 in the drawer 200 by stacking them with the flat surfaces 32b, 42b, and 52b aligned and upright. The large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 are made of resin, so they are light and easy to handle.

The large bowl 2 is made of copolyester resin and has a transparency like glass, so it looks good and the condition of the ingredients can be checked from the outside. In addition, the large bowl 2 is made of copolyester resin with high impact resistance, so it is not easily scratched, for example, when whipping egg whites with a hand mixer. Even if the surface of the large bowl 2 is scratched by the mixer, it will not affect the human body because the copolyester resin is gentle on the human body. Since the copolyester resin is cold resistant, the large bowl 2 can be used in a refrigerator or freezer. Furthermore, since the copolyester resin is heat resistant, the large bowl 2 can be used in a microwave oven or washed in a dishwasher. The same is true for the medium bowl 3. Therefore, the cooking container set 1 is easy to use by including the large bowl 2 and the medium bowl 3 made of copolyester resin.

For example, when cooking using the large bowl 2, a measuring spoon 6 may be used to add seasoning to the large bowl 2. In this case, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, the opening edge 20 of the large bowl 2 is inserted into the insertion recess 64a, so that the measuring spoon 6 is engaged with the large bowl 2 while maintaining a horizontal position. The opening edge 20 is provided in a straight shape. Therefore, the measuring spoon 6 can be engaged with the opening edge 20 so as to be positioned inside the large bowl 2, as shown in Figure 5, or can be engaged with the opening edge 20 so as to be positioned outside the large bowl 2, as shown in Figure 6.

For example, when measuring seasonings such as soy sauce or curry powder, by engaging the measuring spoon 6 with the large bowl 2 as shown in FIG. 5, both hands can be used, making it easier to open and close the lid of the seasoning container and to take the seasoning container in and out. Also, for example, when measuring seasonings in the second measuring part 63 of the measuring spoon 6 engaged with the large bowl 2 as shown in FIG. 5, even if the seasoning spills over from the second measuring part 63, the seasoning will go into the large bowl 2 and will not be wasted.

For example, the measuring spoon 6 used during cooking can be attached to the large bowl 2 as shown in FIG. 6, so there is no need to worry about where to place it. Also, there is no need to prepare a separate plate to place the measuring spoon 6 on, so the amount of dishes to wash can be reduced.

The large bowl 2, medium bowl 3, small bowl 4, and colander 5 stand independently with flat surfaces 22b, 32b, 42b, and 52b facing down, as shown in FIG. 4, for example. Therefore, the large bowl 2, etc. can be drained by standing it up after washing without having to lean it against a dish basket or the like. In particular, since the large bowl 2, etc. stands up in a forward-leaning position, water is less likely to remain on the inner walls of the large bowl 2, etc., and the draining time is shorter.

Note that this embodiment is merely an example and does not limit the present invention in any way. Naturally, the present invention can be improved and modified in various ways without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, the cooking container set 1 does not need to include the measuring spoon 6.

The number and combination of strainers and bowls included in the cooking container set are not limited to the above. For example, the cooking container set may be composed of only multiple bowls, or may be composed of one strainer and one bowl.

When multiple bowls and colanders are stacked on top of each other to stand on their own, the connecting wall of the inner container does not have to abut against the connecting wall of the outer container. However, as in the above embodiment, if the connecting wall of the inner container abuts against the connecting wall of the outer container and the inner and outer containers support each other, multiple bowls and colanders can be stacked on top of each other to stand on their own stably.

The measuring spoon 6 may have a locking portion 64 on the second measuring portion 63, or may have a locking portion 64 on both the first measuring portion 62 and the second measuring portion 63. Furthermore, the measuring spoon 6 may not have a second measuring portion 63.
