Claims (3)

筐体内部を水密に構成した携帯型電子機器において、
筐体の操作窓に臨む操作部を有してスイッチ素子を押圧動作させるゴム製の操作キー部材と、
前記操作部に隣接して筐体の表示窓に臨む液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルのバックライト用樹脂製の導光板と、
筐体内部に固定され、前記液晶パネル、前記導光板及び前記スイッチ素子が搭載された制御回路基板(以下、基板という)と、を備え、
前記操作キー部材は、前記スイッチ素子を押圧動作させるキー作用部を可動に保持するキー保持部を有し、
前記導光板は、前記スイッチ素子の有る位置まで延設され、前記キー保持部を支持し得るように前記基板に対して台座形状とされ、前記台座形状は、前記キー保持部を保持する天板と、前記導光板を前記基板に保持させるための脚部とを有し、当該台座の内側と前記基板との間に空洞を形成したことを特徴とする携帯型電子機器。
