Description
Claims (7)
- 体内の神経を遮断又は調節するための電極装置において、
シャフトを備える本体と、
前記シャフトの一端部から引き出されるように形成され、前記体内の管の少なくとも一部の神経を遮断又は調節する電極ユニットと、
前記電極ユニットを前記体内の管に接触させるようにガイドする電極ガイドとを含み、
前記電極ガイドは、
前記シャフトの一端部から順次に突出されることにより、曲線のワインディング経路を形成する複数の関節部と、
順次に連結された前記複数の関節部の末端に結合されて、前記複数の関節部よりも先に前記シャフトの一端部から突出するチップ関節と、
前記複数の関節部を順次に貫通して前記チップ関節に結合され、前記複数の関節部を前記管に巻き付けられる方向へ引張る力を与えるワイヤと、
を備え、
前記電極ユニットは前記複数の関節部から分離していると共に、前記電極ユニットの端部が前記チップ関節に固定されている、電極装置。 - 前記ワイヤは、前記シャフトの一端部から前記複数の関節部と共に突出される動作中に、単位時間当たりに前記複数の関節部が突出される量よりも小さい量で突出されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極装置。
- 前記関節部は、
前記複数の関節部が並んで連結される長さ方向における一側又は両側に形成されるヒンジ部と、
前記ヒンジ部の回転中心から離れた位置に前記長さ方向に沿って前記ワイヤが挿入されるように形成される貫通孔とを備える、請求項1に記載の電極装置。 - 前記関節部は、
前記複数の関節部が並んで連結される長さ方向における一側又は両側に形成されるヒンジ部と、
隣り合う前記関節部と支持されるように前記長さ方向における一側又は両側に形成されるワインディング支持部とを備え、
前記ワインディング支持部によって互いに隣り合う前記関節部が支持されることにより、前記複数の関節部は前記管から離れて位置されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極装置。 - 前記ワインディング経路は、
前記複数の関節部の一部によって第1の曲率半径を有するように形成される第1の経路と、
前記複数の関節部の一部に続いて突出される前記複数の関節部の他の一部によって形成され、前記第1の曲率半径よりも大きい第2の曲率半径を有するように形成される第2の経路とを含む、請求項1に記載の電極装置。 - 前記チップ関節は、前記管に向かう面の少なくとも一部が前記電極ユニットによってカバーされ、末端に行くほど厚さが薄くなるテーパ形状を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極装置。
- 前記複数の関節部は、弾性変形可能な材質にて一体に形成され、前記電極ガイドにおける互いに隣り合う前記関節部の間には、前記ワインディング経路上に配置されつつ少なくとも一部が閉鎖されるように変形されるワインディング支持溝が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極装置。
