Description
本特許出願は、2017年5月24日に出願した「ROBOTIC ASSEMBLY OF TRANSPORT STRUCTURES USING ON-SITE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING」と題する米国非仮出願第15/604,037号の優先権を主張するものであり、この米国非仮出願は本出願の譲受人に譲渡されており、これによって参照によりその全体が本明細書に明示的に組み込まれている。
Claims (16)
- 輸送構造物の構成要素の少なくとも一部をプリントするように構成された3次元(3-D)プリンタを備えている、前記輸送構造物のための自動組み立てシステムであって、
前記自動組み立てシステムは、さらに、
前記構成要素を受け取るように構成された第1の自動コンストラクタと、複数のロボット組立ステーションのうち第1のロボット組立ステーションに配置された第2の自動コンストラクタを含む複数の自動コンストラクタを備えており、前記第1の自動コンストラクタが、前記構成要素を前記第2の自動コンストラクタに移動させ、前記輸送構造物の組み立て中に前記構成要素が取り付けられ、
前記第1および第2の自動コンストラクタが、前記第1のロボット組立ステーションおよび前記複数のロボット組立ステーション間を自動化された方法で移動するように構成されている、自動組み立てシステム。 - 前記複数の自動コンストラクタのうちの少なくとも一部が、制御システムによって、自動化された方法で複数のステーション間を移動するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記3次元(3-D)プリンタまたは前記複数の自動コンストラクタのうちの少なくとも一部は、前記複数の自動コンストラクタのうちの前記少なくとも一部が1つまたは複数の機械学習機能を適応的にそれぞれ実行できるように構成されている1つまたは複数のセンサーを備えている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記1つまたは複数の機械学習機能が、プリントの移動パターンを最適化すること、プリント・ヘッドの運動制御を可能にすること、材料の開発、構造最適化のために動的に調整してプリントすること、または車両組み立てのための工具を自動的に受け取ることを含んでいる、請求項3に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記3次元(3-D)プリンタが、ロボット・アームの先端部にあるロボットのエフェクタと共に前記ロボット・アームを有する自動ロボット装置を備えており、前記ロボットのエフェクタが、前記構成要素を前記第2の自動コンストラクタに移動するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第1の自動コンストラクタが、ロボット・アームの先端部にあるロボットのエフェクタと共に前記ロボット・アームを有する自動ロボット装置を備えており、前記ロボットのエフェクタが、前記構成要素を前記第1のロボット組立ステーションに移動させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第1の自動コンストラクタから前記第2の自動コンストラクタへの前記構成要素の移動を含めて、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に前記自動コンストラクタを制御するためのコントローラをさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 複数のロボット組立ステーションをさらに備え、前記第1の自動コンストラクタは、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に前記複数のロボット組立ステーションを往復移動するようにされている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記3次元(3-D)プリンタが、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に前記複数のロボット組立ステーションのうちの2つ以上を往復移動するように構成されている、請求項8に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第2の自動コンストラクタが、ロボット・アームの先端部にあるロボットのエフェクタと共に前記ロボット・アームを有する自動ロボット装置を備えており、前記ロボットのエフェクタが、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に使用するために構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第2の自動コンストラクタが、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に、前記ロボット・アームを別のロボット・アームと自動的に交換するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第2の自動コンストラクタが、前記輸送構造物の前記組み立て中に、前記ロボットのエフェクタを別のロボットのエフェクタと自動的に交換するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記3次元(3-D)プリンタが、構成要素の第1の部分をプリントによって形成されていない前記構成要素の第2の部分にプリントすることによって前記構成要素の少なくとも一部をプリントするように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記3次元(3-D)プリンタが、構成要素を別の構造に相互接続するように構成された相互接続をプリントすることによって前記構成要素の少なくとも一部をプリントするように構成されている、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記輸送構造物の前記構成要素の少なくとも一部をプリントするように前記3次元(3-D)プリンタを制御し、前記構成要素を前記第1のロボット組立ステーションに移動するように前記第1の自動コンストラクタを制御し、前記輸送構造物の組み立て中に前記構成要素を取り付けるように前記第2の自動コンストラクタを制御するように構成されている、請求項2に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
- 前記第1の自動コンストラクタは、前記第1のロボット組立ステーションと前記複数のロボット組立ステーションを往復移動するように構成され、前記第1の自動コンストラクタの基部が下にある表面に対して移動する、請求項1に記載の自動組み立てシステム。
