Description

The present invention relates to a mattress device that allows for easy disposal of urination.

When people or young children who are physically disabled due to old age, injury, illness, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "care recipients") sleep on bedding, they often urinate while lying on a mattress device. For this reason, care recipients are often made to wear diapers and diaper covers. However, urine often leaks from the diaper and diaper cover onto the bedding, particularly the mattress device placed under the care recipient. For this reason, mattress devices such as those disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 have been proposed.

However, the mattress device proposed in Patent Document 1 involves attaching an excrement receiver to the crotch area of the care recipient, which makes it difficult for the care recipient to turn over or move, and requires effort to attach. Furthermore, the mattress device proposed in Patent Document 2 allows the care recipient to urinate at their own will without getting off the mattress, but if the care recipient has dementia or is unconscious, the mattress device proposed in Patent Document 2 cannot be used.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a mattress device that can easily dispose of urine from a care recipient.
The mattress device of this embodiment comprises a first mattress formed to a first width and a first length, a second mattress formed to a second width and a second length, a third mattress disposed between the first and second mattresses and formed to a third width and a third length, and a fourth mattress disposed between the first and second mattresses and formed to a fourth width and a third length. The mattress device further comprises a urine guide portion formed to a fifth width and a third length, waterproof mattress covers that respectively cover the first, second, third, and fourth mattresses, and a storage sheet that stores the first, second, third, and fourth mattresses covered by the mattress covers, as well as the urine guide portion disposed between the third and fourth mattresses.

It is also preferable that the storage sheet of the mattress device has a first dividing portion formed at a position a first length from one end in the longitudinal direction, and a second dividing portion formed at a position a second length from the other end in the longitudinal direction.
The storage sheet may also have a first storage sheet for storing a first mattress covered with a mattress cover, a second storage sheet for storing a second mattress covered with a mattress cover, and a third storage sheet for storing a third mattress and a fourth mattress covered with mattress covers, and bellows may be formed at one end of the second storage sheet and at one end of the third storage sheet.

The mattress device of this embodiment may further include a urine reservoir for storing urine, which is disposed between the third mattress, the fourth mattress and the storage sheet.
The urine guide portion may also include an inclined portion that is inclined in the width direction or length direction.
The mattress device may have a urine reservoir for storing urine below the urine guide portion.

The mattress cover of this embodiment preferably has a first layer having a water-repellent function, a second layer provided on the back surface of the first layer, and a third layer having a waterproof function provided on the back surface of the second layer.
It is also preferable that the storage sheet has a waterproof function.

The mattress device of this embodiment allows for easy disposal of the care recipient's urine.

The mattress device according to the embodiment will be described below with reference to the drawings. Furthermore, in the following description, identical or corresponding elements will be given the same reference numerals, and duplicate explanations will be omitted. Note that the drawings used in the description are schematic enough to allow the invention to be understood, and in some places, the size, angle, thickness, etc. are exaggerated.

<<About the Mattress Device>>

Figures 1(A), (B), and 2(A) are perspective views showing a mattress device 10 (10A, 10B, 10C) according to this embodiment. The mattress device 10 is rectangular and is used when the care recipient is lying on their back (supine position), with the head side oriented in the +X-axis direction and the foot side oriented in the -X-axis direction. The mattress device 10 for single use has a length L1 in the long side direction (X-axis direction) of, for example, 210 cm and a width W1 in the short side direction (Y-axis direction) of 100 cm. The width W1 can be increased to accommodate semi-double or double sizes, or the length L1 and width W1 can be shortened for infants or children. The thickness D1 of the mattress device 10 is approximately 3 cm to 30 cm. Mattress devices 10A, 10B, and 10C differ in the presence or absence of a partition and bellows, as described below.

The mattress device 10 includes storage sheets (11, 13, 15), a mattress 20 (22, 23, 24, 25), and a urine guide portion (50, 60, 70 (see Figure 9)). The mattress device 10 may also include a urine reservoir 40 (see Figure 4) for storing urine.

<Regarding storage sheets>
The storage sheets (11, 13, 15) are preferably formed from a waterproof sheet. Waterproof sheets include PVC (polyvinyl chloride) sheets, vulcanized rubber sheets, non-vulcanized rubber sheets, ethylene vinyl acetate resin sheets, thermoplastic elastomer sheets, and composite sheets thereof. Alternatively, the storage sheets (11, 13, 15) may be fabric sheets with added water-repellent and waterproof properties. Depending on the embodiment, the storage sheets (11, 13, 15) may not necessarily have a waterproof property.

The storage sheet 11 shown in Figures 1(A) and 9(A) includes a sheet bottom surface 11a and sheet wall surfaces 11b provided on the four sides of the sheet bottom surface 11a. The length L1 of the bottom surface 11a is, for example, 210 cm, and the width W1 is 100 cm, and the height D1 of the sheet wall surfaces 11b is, for example, 10 cm.

The storage sheet 13 shown in Figures 1(B) and 4(A) includes a sheet bottom surface 13a and sheet wall surfaces 13b provided on four sides of the sheet bottom surface 13a, as well as two dividing sections 13c. If the length L1 of the storage sheet 13 is 210 cm, the dividing sections 13c may be formed at equal intervals, at a position 70 cm in length L2 from one longitudinal end and a position 70 cm in length L3 (L4 = 70 cm) from the other longitudinal end. Alternatively, the dividing sections 13c may be formed, for example, at a position 80 cm in length L2 and a position 60 cm in length L3 (L4 = 70 cm).

The storage sheet 15 shown in Figure 2 (B) includes a first storage sheet 15P, a second storage sheet 15Q, and a third storage sheet 15R. In this embodiment, the second storage sheet 15Q and the third storage sheet 15R have the same structure, dimensions, materials, etc. The first storage sheet 15P, the second storage sheet 15Q, and the third storage sheet 15R each include a sheet bottom surface 15a and sheet wall surfaces 15b provided on four sides of the sheet bottom surface 15a. As shown in Figure 2 (B), a hook-and-loop fastener HL is provided on the outside of one side of the sheet wall surface 15b of the first storage sheet 15P. A bellows 15S is provided on the outside of one side of the sheet wall surface 15b of the second storage sheet 15Q. The bellows 15S includes a bellows 15SS with mountain folds or valley folds, and a hook-and-loop fastener HL is provided on one end of the bellows 15SS. The bellows 15S are also made of the same material as the storage sheet 15 or a stretchy material. Instead of a hook-and-loop fastener, a linear fastener with interlocking teeth may be used, a point fastener such as a snap button may be used, or the bellows may be tied with a string.

The first storage sheet 15P, second storage sheet 15Q, and third storage sheet 15R are each connected to one another with hook-and-loop fasteners HL. Because of the bellows 15S, as shown in Figure 2(C), when viewed from the Y-axis direction, the storage sheet 15 can be folded in two places on a bed or floor (not shown).

<Regarding mattresses>
As shown in Figures 1(A), (B) and 2(A), the mattress 20 includes a first mattress 22, a second mattress 23, a third mattress 24 and a fourth mattress 25. The first mattress 22 is rectangular and has dimensions of a length L2, a width W1 and a thickness D1. The second mattress 23 has dimensions of a length L4, a width W1 and a thickness D1. The third mattress 24 and the fourth mattress 25 have dimensions of a length L3, a width W2 and a thickness D1 (or D3).

A urine guide portion (50, 60, 70) is disposed between the third mattress 24 and the fourth mattress 25. Because the urine guide portion (50, 60, 70) has a width W5 or width W6, the width W2 of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 is less than half the width W1 of the first mattress 22. A urine reservoir 40 (see Figure 4(B)) may be disposed below the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 (in the -Z-axis direction). If a urine reservoir 40 is disposed, the thickness of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 is thickness D3, which is obtained by subtracting the thickness D2 (see Figure 5) of the urine reservoir 40. If a urine reservoir 40 is not disposed, the thickness of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 is thickness D1.

The first mattress 22, second mattress 23, third mattress 24, and fourth mattress 25 are assembled by being pressed into the storage sheet (11, 13, 15). It is preferable that the assembled first mattress 22, second mattress 23, third mattress 24, and fourth mattress 25 have the same thickness, that is, the top surface of each mattress is uniform and without any steps.

As shown in Figure 3(A), the mattress 20 is covered with upper and lower mattress covers 28. In Figure 3(A), the peripheral edge ed of the mattress cover 28 is heat-sealed to seal the end 28e of the mattress cover 28.

As shown in Figure 3 (B), the mattress 20 includes a mattress cover 28 and a cushion 27 inside it. The cushion 27 consists of a cushion cover 27c and a cushion body 27i stuffed into the cushion cover 27c. The cushion body 27i gives the mattress device 10 a shape that rises in the Z-axis direction.

The cushion cover 27c may be made of a mesh material such as cotton, linen, rayon, silk, wool, nylon, acrylic, or polyester, or a blended material that combines two or more of these materials. The cushion cover 27c can also be made of nonwoven fabric.

Materials for the cushion body 27i include, but are not limited to, silk floss, cotton, polyester cotton, acrylic resin cotton, feathers, or wool. For example, the cushion body 27i can be modified as needed to include acrylate fibers (water-absorbing and heat-generating materials), polyurethane or spring coils, or a composite obtained by three-dimensionally fusing and bonding filaments made of thermoplastic resin.

In this embodiment, for ease of manufacturing, the cushion 27 (cushion cover 27c and cushion body 27i) is placed inside the mattress cover 28. However, it is also possible to eliminate the cushion cover 27c and place the cushion body 27i, such as polyurethane or a three-dimensional bonded body, directly inside the mattress cover 28.

Figure 3(C) is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the peripheral edge ed of the mattress cover 28. For ease of understanding, each component is depicted separately in Figure 3(C). To prevent water and other substances from entering through the end 28e of the mattress cover 28, the inner ribbon 29si is first wrapped around the side of the cushion 27, i.e., the periphery. The inner ribbon 29si is then bonded to the side of the cushion 27 by heat welding or other means. The end 28e of the upper mattress cover 28 and the edge 28e of the lower mattress cover 28 are folded over the side of the cushion 27 and bonded to the inner ribbon 29si by heat welding or other means. Next, the outer ribbon 29so is wrapped around the edge 28e of the mattress cover 28 to cover it. The outer ribbon 29so is then bonded to the side of the mattress cover 28 by heat welding or other means. The heat-sealing material may be, for example, EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) seam tape. The ribbons 29 (inner ribbon 29si and inner ribbon 29si) are preferably made of the same fabric as the mattress cover 28.

The mattress cover 28 comprises, from the outside, a water-repellent layer 28p, an outer fabric layer 28q, and a waterproof layer 28r. The outer fabric layer 28q of the mattress cover 28 is preferably formed of a high-density woven or nonwoven fabric that is impermeable to live mites and allergens, such as mites, which are fragments of dead mites. For example, the high-density woven fabric is a fabric woven with approximately 380 50-denier threads per inch (approximately 220 threads lengthwise and 160 threads widthwise), resulting in extremely small gaps in the weave. For example, the outer fabric layer 28q, after being water-repellent (water-repellent layer 28p) and waterproof (waterproof layer 28r), has first ventilation holes with a pore size of 1 μm to 5 μm. The pore size of the first ventilation holes in the mattress cover 28 is large enough to allow air to pass through but not water droplets. The high-density woven or nonwoven material of the outer fabric layer 28q is made of cotton, linen, rayon, wool, acrylic, nylon, polyester, or a blend of two or more of these materials. Because the mattress cover 28 is made of high-density woven or nonwoven fabric, allergens and the like cannot get into the mattress 20.

The water-repellent layer 28p of the mattress cover 28 is formed by applying a PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid)-free short-chain fluorine (carbon number 6 or less, commonly known as C6, C4, etc.) processing agent to the outer surface of the outer fabric layer 28q. These water-repellent processing agents are provided by companies such as Teijin Frontier, Komatsu Seiren, and Toyobo STC. The mattress cover 28 of this embodiment preferably has water-repellent properties of grade 4 (no wetting of the surface, but small water droplets adhere) or grade 5 (no wetting of the surface and no water droplets adhere) according to JIS L 1092-2009 7.2.

The waterproof layer 28r of the mattress cover 28 is formed by directly soaking the inner surface of the outer fabric layer 28q in a fluorine or non-fluorine agent, allowing the fluorine agent to permeate the inner surface and fibers of the outer fabric layer 28q, and then spraying a special solvent onto the surface after the fluorine agent has permeated the inner surface and fibers of the outer fabric layer 28q and the surface has dried to a certain extent. By spraying the special solvent, the mattress cover 28 has pores with a diameter of 1 μm to 5 μm. The waterproof layer 28r of the mattress cover 28 (without the water-repellent layer 28p) preferably has a water pressure resistance of 300 to 500 mm or more. A water pressure resistance of 500 mm means that even if water is placed on the mattress cover 28 with the waterproof layer 28r to a height of 500 mm per unit area, no water will leak underneath. The mattress cover 28 of this embodiment has a water pressure resistance of 500 to 800 mm or more, thanks to the combined water-repellent properties of the water-repellent layer 28p and the waterproof properties of the waterproof layer 28r. This means that even if the care recipient urinates, the urine will not pass through the mattress cover 28.

The mattress cover 28, which has a water-repellent layer 28p and a waterproof layer 28r, has a pore size of 1 μm to 5 μm, and therefore has an air permeability of 200 to 10 (cc/cm2·s) according to JIS L 1096 (Fragile air permeability test). It preferably has an air permeability of 50 to 20 (cc/cm2·s). Even if steam from sweat or other substances released by the user while sleeping or moisture in the air enters the mattress cover 28, the steam or moisture can be expelled to the outside of the mattress cover 28 by drying the mattress 20 in a household dryer or similar. It is also preferable that the ribbon 29 covering the edge 28e of the mattress cover 28 is made of the same fabric.

Because the mattress 20 of this embodiment has the above-described functions and structure, the caregiver can wash and dry the mattress 20 at home. More specifically, the caregiver removes the mattress 20 from the storage sheets (11, 13, 15), showers the mattress 20 to wash away urine and other contaminants from the surface of the water-repellent layer 28p, and then shakes the mattress 20 to remove water droplets from the water-repellent layer 28p, allowing the mattress 20 to dry easily. Drying time can also be shortened by wiping off water droplets with a towel or similar. Even if the functionality of the water-repellent layer 28p deteriorates after long-term use, the waterproof layer 28r prevents water droplets from showering or otherwise reaching the cushion 27. If the third mattress 24 and the fourth mattress 25 can be folded compactly, for example, to 70 cm x 50 cm x 10 cm, they can be placed in a laundromat or a home dryer, allowing the water-repellent function to be restored.

The first mattress 22 and second mattress 23 shown in Figures 1 and 2 are approximately twice the size of the third mattress 24 and fourth mattress 25. However, the first mattress 22 and second mattress 23 may be divided in half to have the same size as the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25. Also, although the first mattress 22 and second mattress 23 shown in Figures 1 and 2 do not have urine guide sections (50, 60, 70), they may be provided with urine guide sections (50, 60, 70). In such a case, the mattresses 20 (first mattress 22 to fourth mattress 25) will basically be approximately the same size, which will reduce the manufacturing cost of the mattress 20.

<Regarding urine storage devices>
Fig. 4(A) is a perspective view of the storage sheet 13 with the mattress 20 and other components removed from the mattress device 10B. Fig. 4(B) is a perspective view of the storage sheet 13 with a urine reservoir 40 and a first urine guide section 50 attached to the central bottom surface 13a, which is divided by two dividing sections 13c. The urine reservoir 40 has the function of storing urine when the care recipient leaks urine. The first urine guide section 50 has the function of guiding urine leaked from the care recipient to the urine reservoir 40. Figs. 4(A) and (B) show an example using the storage sheet 13, but the storage sheet 11 shown in Fig. 1(A) or the storage sheet 15 shown in Fig. 2(A) can also be used.

The urinary container 40 includes a frame plate 42 and a recessed portion 43 formed in the frame plate. Using Figure 5, we will briefly explain how urine leaking from the care recipient is collected in the recessed portion 43 of the urinary container 40.

Figure 5 (A) is a conceptual cross-sectional view showing a state in which urine U has leaked from a care recipient on a conventional mattress device 2. The weight of the care recipient lying on their back on the conventional mattress device 2 causes the mattress device 2 to sink in, particularly near the care recipient's buttocks HB. If the caregiver leaks urine U in this state, the urine U will accumulate around the buttocks HB, particularly below, and the accumulated urine U will soak into the conventional mattress device 2. The caregiver will need to wash the mattress device 2, etc.

Figure 5 (B) is a conceptual cross-sectional view showing a state in which urine has leaked from the mattress device 10B of this embodiment. The weight of the care recipient lying on his/her back causes the third mattress 24 and the fourth mattress 25 to be depressed near the care recipient's buttocks HB. In this state, if the caregiver leaks urine U, the urine U flows from around the buttocks HB through the gap between the third mattress 24 and the first urine guide portion 50, or the gap between the fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide portion 50, or through the guide grooves or holes in the first urine guide portion 50, into the urinary reservoir 40, where it collects in the depression 43. Because the third mattress 24 and the fourth mattress 25 are covered with the waterproof mattress cover 28 as described above, the urine U does not soak into the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25. If the recessed portion 43 of the urinal 40 has a bottom, the urine U is stored in the recessed portion, and if the recessed portion 43 is a hole without a bottom, the urine U is stored with the storage sheet 13 as the bottom. If the recessed portion 43 of the urinal 40 has a bottom, the storage sheet (11, 13, 15) does not need to have a waterproof function.

Figure 6 (A1) is a plan view of the urinary reservoir 40A, and (A2) is its side view. Figure 6 (B1) is a plan view of another urinary reservoir 40B, and (B2) is its side view. Both the urinary reservoir 40A and the urinary reservoir 40B are formed from materials such as expanded polypropylene (EPP), silicone foam, rubber sheet, rigid (or semi-rigid) urethane foam, or styrene foam. In order to store urine U, a material that is impermeable to liquids is preferred. Furthermore, to improve the comfort of the care recipient, the hardness and cushioning of the urinary reservoir 40 are preferably similar to those of the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25.

The urinary reservoir 40A consists of a frame plate 42 with a length L3, width W1, and thickness D2, and has two rectangular recesses 43 formed in the frame plate 42. The recesses 43 may be either through holes or blind holes (with bottoms). The urinary reservoir 40B consists of a frame plate 42 with a length L3, width W1, and thickness D2, and has one barrel-shaped recess 46 formed in the frame plate 42. The recess 46 may be either a through hole or a blind hole (with bottoms). As such, the shape and number of the recesses 43 or 46 are not limited to these, and they may be of any size sufficient to collect urine leaked by the care recipient. The frame plate 42 is sized to fit exactly between the two partitions 13c of the storage sheet 13, but may be shorter or shorter.

<Regarding the first urine guide part, part 1>
7 and 8 show examples of the first urine guide portion 50 or the first urine guide portion 60. From the perspective of cleaning, the first urine guide portion 50 or the first urine guide portion 60 is preferably made of a liquid-impermeable material, but a liquid-permeable material may also be used. For example, the first urine guide portion 50 or the first urine guide portion 60 may be made of a material such as expanded polypropylene (EPP), silicone foam, a rubber sheet, soft, semi-rigid, or rigid urethane foam, or styrene foam. Furthermore, to improve the comfort of the care recipient, the hardness and cushioning of the first urine guide portion 50 or the first urine guide portion 60 are preferably similar to those of the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25.

7 (A1) to (E1) are plan views of the first urine guide portion 50, and (A2) to (E2) are side views thereof. The first urine guide portions 50A to 50E are formed from thin plates with a width W5 of approximately 1 cm to 6 cm, and their height D3 is the same as the thickness D3 of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25. The top surface 51 of the first urine guide portion 50A is entirely flat, and as described above, urine U flows into the urinary reservoir 40 through the gap between the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide portion 50, or if the first urine guide portion 50 is made of a liquid-permeable material. Because the top surface 51 of the first urine guide portion 50A is flat, the care recipient's sleeping comfort is not adversely affected.

The first urine guide part 50B includes four inclined parts 52 and two flat top surfaces 53. The inclined parts 52 make it easier for leaked urine to flow into the gap between the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide part 50.
The first urine guide part 50C includes two inclined parts 55 and one flat top surface 54. The inclined parts 55 make it easier for leaked urine to flow into the gap between the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide part 50.

The first urine guide part 50D includes two inclined parts 57 and one flat top surface 56. The inclined part 57 has an inclination that is upside down compared to the inclined part 55 of the first urine guide part 50C, so that leaked urine can easily flow into the gap between the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide part 50.
The first urine guide portion 50E includes three semicircular portions 58 and four flat top surfaces 59. The semicircular portions 58 make it easier for leaked urine to flow into the gap between the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide portion 50. In the first urine guide portions 50B to 50E, the inclination angle of the inclined portions may be a gentle angle of approximately 1 to 5 degrees.

Figures 8 (A1) to (E1) are plan views of the first urine guide portion 60, and (A2) to (E2) are side views thereof. The first urine guide portions 60A to 60E are formed from thick plates with a width W6 of approximately 4 cm to 20 cm, and their height D3 is the same as the thickness D3 of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25. The first urine guide portion 60A has a gable roof shape 61, and urine U flows into the urinal 40 through the gap between the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide portion 50.

The first urine guide section 60B has a gable roof shape 61, with inwardly recessed sloped sections 62 on both sides and inwardly recessed vertical sections 63 at the ends of the sloped sections 62. The sloped sections 62 and vertical sections 63 act as guide grooves, making it easier for leaked urine to flow into the gap. Even if the gap between the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 and the first urine guide section 50 is small and urine has difficulty flowing through the gap, urine will flow downward via the sloped sections 62 and vertical sections 63, which act as guide grooves.

The first urine guide portion 60C has a gable roof shape 61 and includes inwardly recessed grooves 64 on both side surfaces. The presence of the grooves 64 makes it easier for leaked urine to flow downward.
The first urine guide part 60D has a rounded roof shape 65 and includes a slope 66 that widens outward as it goes downward. The slope 66 may or may not be provided with an inclined portion 62. Leaked urine flows downward via the slope 66 and the inclined portion 62, which serve as guide grooves.
The first urine guide part 60E has a slope 67 that is recessed in the widthwise center, and has a guide vertical hole 68 and a guide horizontal hole 69 in the widthwise center of the slope 67. As shown in Fig. 6 (E1), the guide vertical holes 68 and the guide horizontal holes 69 are provided in three locations, but this is not limited to this.

In this embodiment, various configurations of the first urine guide portion 50 and the first urine guide portion 60 are shown, but these may also be combined. For example, the first urine guide portion 50C shown in Figure 7(C) may be provided with the groove portion 64 shown in Figure 8(C), or the first urine guide portion 60A shown in Figure 8(A) may be provided with the two inclined portions 55 shown in Figure 7(C).

<Regarding the second urine guide part>
Figure 9 shows an example of the second urine guide portion 70. From the perspective of storing urine, the second urine guide portion 70 is preferably made of a liquid-impermeable material. For example, the urine guide portion 70 may be made of materials such as expanded polypropylene (EPP), silicone foam, rubber sheet, semi-rigid or rigid urethane foam, or styrene foam. Furthermore, to improve the comfort of the care recipient, the hardness and cushioning of the urine guide portion 70 should preferably be similar to those of the third mattress 24 or the fourth mattress 25.

Figure 9(A) is a perspective view of the storage sheet 11 with the mattress 20 removed from the mattress device 10A, showing the second urine guide member 70 attached to the bottom surface 11a near the center of the storage sheet 11. The second urine guide member 70 functions to guide urine flow as well as store urine. Therefore, unlike the first urine guide members 50 and 60, the urine reservoir 40 is not required. While Figure 9(A) shows an example using the storage sheet 11, it can also be applied to the storage sheet 13 shown in Figure 1(B) or the storage sheet 15 shown in Figure 2(A). The urine guide member 70 includes a container lid 71 and a container member 79 that fits into the container lid 71. The caregiver can remove the container lid 71 to discard urine stored in the urine storage space. The container lid 71 and the container member 79 may be integrated, in which case a urination outlet leading to the urine storage space may be provided.

The second urine guide portion 70A and the second urine guide portion 70B are formed from thick plates with a width W6 of approximately 4 cm to 15 cm, and their height D1 is the same as the thickness D1 of the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 when the urine reservoir 40 is not installed. The container lid 71 of the second urine guide portion 70A has two opposing slopes 72 that are concave in the center in the width direction, and a vertical guide hole 73 is located in the center of the two slopes 72. The vertical guide hole 73 is also connected to the urine collection space 74. Therefore, leaked urine is collected in the urine collection space 74 via the slopes 72 and the vertical guide hole 73. Note that if urine U leaks from the gap between the third mattress 24 or fourth mattress 25 and the second urine guide portion 70, it will collect on the bottom surface 11a of the storage sheet 11.

The container lid 71 of the second urine guide part 70B has two sloped surfaces 75 facing each other so that the center of the length is concave, and a guide hole 77 is located in the center of the sloped surfaces 75. The guide hole 77 is also connected to the urine collection space 74. Therefore, leaked urine is collected in the urine collection space 74 via the sloped surfaces 75 and the guide hole 77.

a storage sheet that stores the first mattress, the second mattress, the third mattress, and the fourth mattress covered with the mattress cover, and the urine guide portion that is disposed between the third mattress and the fourth mattress ;
