Description
本発明によるコポリマー
本発明は、コポリマーに関するものであって、
a)式(I)
b)式(II)
c)メタクリルアミド類、フマレート、マレエート又はその混合物からなるリストから選択される、少なくとも1種のモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、該コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~10質量%
を含み、かつ
該コポリマーが、ASTM D 445に従って80~600cStの100℃での動粘度を有し、かつ
該コポリマーが、8個を超える炭素原子を有する線状アルキル基を有するモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、該コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~22質量%を含む。
溶離液:テトラヒドロフラン(THF)
操作温度:35℃
カラム:4本のカラムからなるカラムセット:SDV 106 Åカラム2本、SDV 104 Åカラム1本及びSDV 103 Åカラム1本(PSS Standards Service GmbH、マインツ、ドイツ)、全て300×8mmのサイズ及び10μmの平均粒度を有する
流量:1mL/min
注入体積:100μL
機器:オートサンプラー、ポンプ及びカラムオーブンからなるAgilent 1100シリーズ
検出装置:Agilent 1100シリーズからの屈折率検出器。
本発明の好ましい態様によれば、該コポリマーは、
a)式(I)
b)式(II)
c)メタクリルアミド類、フマレート、マレエート又はその混合物からなるリストから選択される、少なくとも1種のモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、該コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~10質量%、より好ましくは0~5質量%、よりいっそう好ましくは0~3質量%
を含み、かつ
該コポリマーが、ASTM D 445に従って80~600cStの100℃での動粘度を有し、かつ
該コポリマーが、8個を超える炭素原子を有する線状アルキル基を有するモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、該コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~22質量%、好ましくは0~18質量%を含む。
本発明によれば、上記のポリマーは、次の工程:
i)上記に記載されたようなモノマー組成物を用意する工程;及び
ii)前記モノマー組成物においてラジカル重合を開始させる工程
を含む方法に従って製造される。
上記で示されたように、本発明は、少なくとも1種の基油及び本発明において定義される少なくとも1種のコポリマーを含む潤滑油組成物にも関する。
本発明は、潤滑油組成物における、好ましくはギヤー油組成物、変速機油組成物、作動油組成物、エンジン油組成物、舶用油組成物、工業用潤滑油組成物における又はグリースにおける、潤滑剤添加剤又は合成ベースフルードとしての本発明によるコポリマーの使用にも関する。
本発明は、以下に、例及び比較例を参照して詳細にさらに説明されるが、本発明の範囲を限定することを何ら意図するものではない。以下の表に与えられたモノマー又はベースフルードに対する全てのパーセンテージは、質量パーセンテージ(質量%)である。

EHA 270.0g中に溶解させたDBPO 1.62g(アクリレートの量に対して0.6質量%)を、PAO8 30.0gに、窒素下で160℃で3時間、ゆっくりと供給した。もう1時間撹拌した後に、生じた澄明で無色のポリマー溶液を冷却し、さらなる実験においてさらに精製せずに使用した。
EHA 1200g中に溶解させたDBPO 3.6g(そのフィード中のモノマーに対して0.3質量%)を、1-デセン300g(該(メタ)アクリレートに対して0.33モル当量)に、窒素下で160℃で3時間、ゆっくりと供給した。もう1時間撹拌した後に、生じた澄明で無色のポリマーを冷却した。引き続き、残存デセンを、ロータリーエバポレーターを用いる150℃及び5mbarの低さの圧力での蒸留により除去した。
EHA 249.3g中に溶解させたDBPO 0.77g(そのフィード中のモノマーに対して0.3質量%)及びDEHF 5.7gを、1-テトラデセン45.0gに、窒素下で160℃で3時間、ゆっくりと供給した。もう1時間撹拌した後に、生じる澄明で無色のポリマーを冷却し、さらに精製せずに使用した。

前記コポリマーが、8個を超える炭素原子を有する線状アルキル基を有するモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~22質量%を含む、
前記コポリマー。
i)モノマー組成物を用意する工程、
ii)前記モノマー組成物においてラジカル重合を開始させて、前記コポリマーを得る工程
を含む、前記方法。
Claims (15)
- コポリマーであって、
a)式(I)
[式中、R1は、炭素原子6~12個を有する線状又は分岐状のアルキル基を意味する]の少なくとも1種のアクリレートに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、65~90質量%、
b)式(II)
[式中、R2は、炭素原子6~16個を有する線状アルキル基を意味する]の少なくとも1種の官能化されていないα-オレフィンに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、10~35質量%、
及び
c)メタクリルアミド類、フマレート、マレエート又はその混合物からなるリストから選択される、少なくとも1種のモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~10質量%
を含み、かつ
前記コポリマーが、ASTM D 445に従って100℃での80~600cStの動粘度を有し、かつ
前記コポリマーが、8個を超える炭素原子を有する線状アルキル基を有するモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~22質量%を含む、
前記コポリマー。 - 前記コポリマーが、8個を超える炭素原子を有する線状アルキル基を有するモノマーに由来するモノマー単位、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、0~20質量%を含む、請求項1に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、ASTM D 445に従って100℃での100~500cStの動粘度を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、前記の式(II)の官能化されていないα-オレフィンに由来するモノマー単位b)、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、10~30質量%を含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記の式(II)の官能化されていないα-オレフィンb)が、デセン、ドデセン、テトラデセン、ヘキサデセン又はその混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記の式(I)のアクリレートにおけるR1が、炭素原子6~10個を有する線状又は分岐状のアルキル基である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、モノマーc)に由来するモノマー単位0~7質量%を含む、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーにおけるモノマーa)及びb)に由来するモノマー単位の全量が、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、合計して90質量%になる、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーにおけるモノマーa)、b)及びc)に由来するモノマー単位の全量が、前記コポリマーの全質量を基準として、合計して90質量%になる、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、DIN 55672-1に従って5000~30000g/molの質量平均分子量を有する、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、1~4のPDIを有する、請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 前記コポリマーが、ASTM D92に従って250℃を超えるCOC引火点を有する、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載のコポリマー。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に定義されるコポリマーを製造する方法であって、前記方法が、以下の工程:
i)モノマー組成物を用意する工程、
ii)前記モノマー組成物においてラジカル重合を開始させて、前記コポリマーを得る工程
を含む、前記方法。 - 1種以上の基油及び請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の少なくとも1種のコポリマーを含む、潤滑剤組成物。
- 潤滑油組成物における又はグリースにおける、潤滑剤添加剤又は合成ベースフルードとしての、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に定義されるコポリマーの使用。
