Description
The present invention relates to a mounting structure for horizontal members that are attached to the corners of buildings.
Conventionally, eaves have been known in which an eave plate (a horizontal member) is attached to a back plate portion fixed to the exterior wall (building wall) of a building (see Patent Document 1). The eave plate is made up of multiple long plate members connected in the width direction, with one end of each of the multiple plate members attached to the back plate portion.
However, when attaching the eaves described in Patent Document 1 to an inside corner formed by a first wall surface of a building and a second wall surface intersecting the first wall surface, if there is a difference in width between the inside corner and the eaves plate in the direction along the first wall surface, fixing the back plate portion to the first wall surface and attaching the eaves plate to the back plate will create a gap between the side edge of the eaves plate along the second wall surface and the second wall surface. Furthermore, when this eaves plate is attached to various inside corners, this gap will vary. For this reason, it is difficult to improve watertightness by appropriately positioning backup material between the side edge of the eaves plate and the second wall surface of the inside corner, depending on the various inside corners.
The object of the present invention is to provide a mounting structure for horizontal surface members that allows for appropriate placement of backup material between the side edge of the horizontal surface member and the inside corner, in accordance with various types of inside corners, thereby improving watertightness.
The mounting structure for a horizontal member of the present invention is a mounting structure for a horizontal member that mounts a horizontal member to an inside corner formed by a first wall surface of a building wall and a second wall surface that intersects with the first wall surface. The horizontal member has a panel body that is attached to the first wall surface and an attachment that forms the side edge of the horizontal member that faces the second wall surface. The attachment has a base piece that is fixed to the panel body and upper and lower piece pieces that extend from the base piece toward the second wall surface. The upper and lower piece pieces have multiple holding parts that are arranged in parallel along their respective extension directions and that hold a backup material that abuts against the second wall surface. The upper and lower piece pieces are configured so that their lengths can be freely adjusted between adjacent holding parts.
This invention provides a mounting structure for horizontal surface members that allows backup material to be appropriately positioned between the side edge of the horizontal surface member and the inside corner, depending on the type of inside corner, thereby improving watertightness.
[Configuration of this embodiment]
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2, the mounting structure 10 for a horizontal surface member (mounting structure for a eaves panel) according to this embodiment is configured by installing eaves panel members 3 as horizontal surface members in both inside corners 20 of a building wall 2. Both inside corners 20 are configured by a first wall surface 21 of the building wall 2 and second wall surfaces 22, 23 that are perpendicular to the first wall surface 21. The eaves panel member 3 has a panel body 30 that is attached to the first wall surface 21, and an attachment 50 that forms a side edge portion 3C of the eaves panel member 3 that faces the second wall surface 22 and holds a backup material 7 that abuts against the second wall surface 22.
In the following description, the left-right direction of the eave surface material 3 is the X-axis direction, the up-down direction of the eave surface material 3 is the Y-axis direction, and the depth direction of the eave surface material 3 is the Z-axis direction. The X, Y, and Z-axis directions are perpendicular to each other. The first wall surface 21 is aligned along the X-axis direction, and the second wall surfaces 22 and 23 are aligned along the Z-axis direction.
The eave panel 3 is inclined with respect to the Z-axis direction so that its interior edge 3A is positioned higher than its exterior edge 3B. The interior edge 3A is attached to the first wall surface via a mounting body 11 extending along the X-axis direction. The exterior edge 3B is attached to an end member 12 extending along the X-axis direction.
The panel body 30 includes multiple intermediate panels 31 and side panels 40A, 40B extending in the Z-axis direction in a plan view. The multiple intermediate panels 31 and side panels 40A, 40B are formed from extruded aluminum. The multiple intermediate panels 31 are arranged side by side in the X-axis direction, and the side panels 40A, 40B are connected to the side portions (side surface portions 313, 314, described below) of the intermediate panels 31 located furthest from the other intermediate panels 31 in the X-axis direction. In this embodiment, the side panel 40A is arranged on the left side and the side panel 40B is arranged on the right side in FIG. 2 , but this arrangement is not limited to this and may be reversed. An attachment 50 is fixed to the side panel 40A, and the attachment 50 forms the left side edge portion 3C of the eave panel 3, while the side panel 40B forms the right side edge portion of the eave panel 3.
As shown in Figure 2, the intermediate panel 31 has a hollow frame portion 32 formed into a hollow frame shape with an upper surface portion 311, a lower surface portion 312, and left and right side surface portions 313, 314; a continuous piece portion 33 that connects the upper surface portion 311 and the lower surface portion 312 within the hollow frame portion 32; an engaged piece portion 34 that extends in the X-axis direction from the upper end portion of one of the left and right side surface portions 313 and bends downward; an engaging piece portion 35 that extends in a hook-like shape from the other of the left and right side surface portions 314; and an extending piece portion 36 that extends in the X-axis direction from the lower end portion of the side surface portion 314 and stands upright. The engaging piece portion 35 is positioned above the extending piece portion 36 and engages with the engaged piece portion 34 of the intermediate panel 31 adjacent to the intermediate panel 31 on which the engaging piece portion 35 is formed or with the engaged piece portion 34 (described below) of the side panels 40A and 40B. The raised portion of the extension piece 36 is positioned farther away from the side surface 314 in the X-axis direction than the engagement piece 35, and abuts against the adjacent intermediate panel 31 or side panel 40A. In addition, where the lower surface 312 and side surface 313 are joined, a step 315 is formed, which is composed of a side piece raised from the lower surface 312 and a bottom piece extending from the side surface in the X-axis direction and continuing to the side piece; the step 315 and the adjacent extension piece 36 form a recess 37 that is recessed upward.
Each of the side panels 40A and 40B has a hollow frame portion 42 that is formed in the shape of a hollow frame and has an upper surface portion 411, a lower surface portion 412, and left and right side surface portions 413 and 414.
The side panel 40A further has an engaging piece 34 extending from its side surface 413, similar to the above, which engages with the engaging piece 35 of the intermediate panel 31 adjacent to the side panel 40A. The side surface 413 abuts against the extending piece 36 of the adjacent intermediate panel 31. The contiguous portion of the bottom surface 412 and the side surface 414 of the side panel 40A extends obliquely upward from the bottom surface, and the side surface 414 of the side panel 40A has a protrusion 414A that protrudes downward from the position where it connects with the bottom surface 412. The protrusion 414A and the protrusion 414A together support the attachment 50 in the X-axis direction. The contiguous portion of the bottom surface 412 and the side surface 413 of the side panel 40A also has a step 315, similar to the above, formed therein. The step 315 and the adjacent extending piece 36 define an upwardly recessed recess 37.
The side panel 40B further has an engaging piece 35 and an extending piece 36 that protrude and extend from the side surface portion 414 in the same manner as described above. The engaging piece 35 of the side panel 40B engages with the engaged piece 34 of the adjacent intermediate panel 31, and the extending piece 36 of the side panel 40B abuts against the intermediate panel 31 adjacent to the side panel 40B. The side surface portion 413 of the side panel 40B has a protrusion 413A that protrudes downward from a position continuous with the bottom surface portion 412, and the protrusion 413A and the like face the second wall surface 23 in the X-axis direction.
In this embodiment, the width of each panel when viewed from below of the panel body 30 with the multiple intermediate panels 31 and side panels 40A, 40B connected is 200 mm for the multiple intermediate panels 31, and 50 mm for the side panels 40A, 40B. The side panel 40A is made of either a panel material with a width of 100 mm or a panel material with a width of 50 mm, depending on the distance between the intermediate panel 31 and the second wall surface 22. The side panel 40B is made of either a panel material with a width of 100 mm or a panel material with a width of 50 mm, depending on the distance between the intermediate panel 31 and the second wall surface 23. Therefore, regardless of the panel material selected, the width of the side panels 40A, 40B will be less than the width of one intermediate panel 31. For example, if the combined distance between the leftmost intermediate panel 31 and the second wall surface 22 and the rightmost intermediate panel 31 and the second wall surface 23 in Figure 2 is 200 mm or more, one intermediate panel can be added. If the combined distance is less than 200 mm, an appropriate combination of side panels 40A, 40B made of panel materials with widths of 100 mm and 50 mm can be installed. Even when the panels are installed in this manner, if a distance of 50 mm or less remains between one of the side panels 40A, 40B and the second wall surface 22 (or the second wall surface 23), an attachment 50 must be installed.
As shown in Figure 3, the attachment 50 is formed from an extruded aluminum member extending in the Z-axis direction in a plan view, with a generally U-shaped cross section. It has a base piece 51 fixed to the side surface 414 of the side panel 40A, and an upper piece 61 and a lower piece 65 extending from the base piece 51 in the X-axis direction (extension direction) toward the second wall surface 22. A thickened portion 51A that is thickened in the X-axis direction is formed in approximately the center of the base piece 51 in the Y-axis direction, and this thickened portion 51A is used to screw the intermediate panel 31.
The upper piece portion 61 has a plurality of upper holding portions 62 (holding portions) arranged at a predetermined interval in the X-axis direction so as to be able to hold the upper portion 71 of the backup material 7, and a plurality of upper breaking grooves 63 (breaking grooves) formed at respective positions between the plurality of upper holding portions 62. In this embodiment, the width dimension of the upper piece portion 61 in the X-axis direction is 40 mm, which is equal to or less than the width dimension of a panel material having a small width dimension of 50 mm that can be selected for the side panels 40A, 40B. The upper holding portions 62 extend along the Z-axis direction and protrude from the lower surface 612 of the upper piece portion 61 toward the lower piece portion 65. In this embodiment, the distance between the upper holding portion 62 facing the base piece portion 51 in the X-axis direction and the base piece portion 51 is 10 mm, and the distance between adjacent upper holding portions 62 is also 10 mm in this embodiment.
The upper break-off groove 63 is configured as a marking groove formed along the Z-axis direction on the upper surface 611 of the upper piece portion 61 so that the upper piece portion 61 can be broken off. By forming the upper break-off groove 63 on the upper surface 611 of the upper piece portion 61 in this way, the upper break-off groove 63 is exposed to the outside, and by visually checking the upper break-off groove 63 from above with respect to the eave surface material 3, the break-off position of the upper piece portion 61 can be easily determined, improving workability. In addition, the upper break-off groove 63 is formed in a position between adjacent upper holding portions 62 in the X-axis direction and in an upper position along the surface 621 of the upper holding portion 62 on the second wall surface 22 side.
The lower piece 65 has a plurality of lower retaining portions 66 arranged at predetermined intervals in the X-axis direction so as to be able to retain the lower portion 72 of the backup material 7, and a plurality of lower breaking grooves 67 (breaking grooves) formed at respective positions between the plurality of lower retaining portions 66. In this embodiment, the width dimension of the lower piece 65 in the X-axis direction is 40 mm, which is equal to or less than the width dimension of a panel material having a small width dimension of 50 mm that can be selected for the side panels 40A, 40B. The lower retaining portions 66 extend along the Z-axis direction and protrude from an upper surface 651 of the lower piece 65 toward the upper piece 61. In this embodiment, the distance between the lower retaining portion 66 facing the base piece 51 in the X-axis direction and the base piece 51 is 10 mm, and the distance between adjacent lower retaining portions 66 is also 10 mm in this embodiment. In addition, the main body portion of the lower piece 65 along the X-axis direction is configured to be thicker than the upper piece 61, and the multiple lower holding parts 66 are arranged opposite the multiple upper holding parts 62 in the Y-axis direction.
The lower break-off groove 67 is configured as a marking groove formed along the Z-axis direction on the upper surface 651 of the lower piece portion 65 so that the lower piece portion 65 can be broken off. With this configuration, for example, when the eave surface material 3 is viewed from below, the lower break-off groove 67 is not noticeable, improving the design. Furthermore, when the upper piece portion 61 is broken off by the upper break-off groove 63, the lower break-off groove 67 is visible from above, making it easy to determine the breaking position of the lower piece portion 65. Furthermore, the lower break-off groove 67 is formed in a position between adjacent lower holding portions 66 in the X-axis direction and in a lower position along the surface 661 of the lower holding portion 66 on the second wall surface 22 side.
The backup material 7 is formed along the Z-axis direction and has a base 70 having an upper portion 71 held by the plurality of upper holding portions 62 and a lower portion 72 held by the plurality of lower holding portions 66, and an abutting portion 73 that protrudes from the base 70 in the X-axis direction toward the second wall surface 22 and abuts against the second wall surface 22. The abutting portion 73, the attachment 50, and the second wall surface 22 form seal grooves 80 at positions above and below the abutting portion 73.
The base 70 has side surfaces 701 and 702 along the Y-axis direction, and an upper surface 703 and a lower surface 704 that are continuous with the side surfaces 701 and 702. The portion above the abutting portion 73 is an upper portion 71, and the portion below the abutting portion 73 is a lower portion 72. The abutting portion 73 is formed to protrude from the side surface 701 in the X-axis direction, and is formed with an upper surface 731, a lower surface 732, and an abutting surface 733 that is continuous with these.
When the backup material 7 is held by the attachment 50, the abutment portion 73 is disposed between the lower holding portion 66 and the upper holding portion 62 in the Y-axis direction. In this embodiment, the dimension in the X-axis direction between the abutment surface 733 and the upper holding portion 62 of the multiple upper holding portions 62 that is located closest to the second wall surface 22 and the lower holding portion 66 of the lower holding portions 66 that is located closest to the second wall surface 22 is 10 mm. Therefore, the maximum width dimension in the X-axis direction of the attachment 50 and the backup material 7 combined is 50 mm, which is the same as the dimension of the side panels 40A, 40B formed by selecting panel materials with a width dimension of 50 mm and is half the dimension of the side panels 40A, 40B formed by selecting panel materials with a width dimension of 100 mm.
In this embodiment, the above-described eave surface material 3 is attached to the mounting body 11 fixed to the first wall surface 21 of both inside corner portions 20, and then a sealant 81 is applied from above and below between the attachment 50 and the second wall surface 22 and between the side panel 40B and the second wall surface 23. The sealant 81 is also applied to the periphery of the mounting body 11. In this way, eave structures are formed at both inside corner portions 20.
The eave panel 3 is screwed sequentially to the mounting body 11 while engaging and connecting the intermediate panel 31 and the side panels 40A, 40B in the X-axis direction. Here, the attachment 50 is screwed to the side panel 40A in advance. The upper piece 61 and the lower piece 65 are broken off as shown in Figure 4 in accordance with the distance in the X-axis direction between the second wall surface 22 and the side panel 40A, or are left as they are if they do not need to be broken off.
In the above-described breaking operation, the breaking position is determined using the upper breaking groove 63 formed on the upper surface 611 of the upper piece 61 as a mark, the upper piece 61 is broken off at the upper breaking groove 63, and the portion of the upper piece 61 that is further away from the base piece 51 in the X-axis direction than the upper breaking groove 63 is removed. After the upper piece 61 is broken off, the lower breaking groove 67 to be broken off is exposed in a position that is easily visible from above, so the breaking position of the lower piece 65 is determined using this lower breaking groove 67 as a mark, the lower piece 65 is broken off at the lower breaking groove 67, and the portion of the lower piece 65 that is further away from the base piece 51 in the X-axis direction than the lower breaking groove 67 is removed. Here, the upper breaking grooves 63 and the lower breaking grooves 67 are formed at 10 mm intervals in the X-axis direction in this embodiment, and therefore can be adjusted in 10 mm increments in the X-axis direction by the above-described breaking operation. Furthermore, because the upper break-off groove 63 and the lower break-off groove 67 are disposed at upper and lower positions along the surfaces 621, 661, even if the upper piece portion 61 and the lower piece portion 65 are broken off, no portion of the attachment 50 protrudes from the upper holding portion 62 or the lower holding portion 66, which are located closest to the second wall surface 22, toward the second wall surface 22, and a seal groove 80 having a shape that makes it easy to apply the seal material 81 can be formed. In this embodiment, the distance between the attachment 50 and the second wall surface 22 is 10 mm or less, but within this dimension, this can be adjusted by the amount of compression by which the backup material 7 is abutted against the second wall surface 22 and compressed.
A backup material 7 is attached to the attachment 50 whose width in the X-axis direction has been adjusted to the desired dimension. The base 70 of the backup material 7 is inserted between the upper piece 61 and the lower piece 65 from the end of the attachment 50 in the Z-axis direction. The upper part 71 of the base 70 is disposed between adjacent upper holding parts 62, and the lower part 72 is disposed between adjacent lower holding parts 66. The abutment part 73 is disposed to protrude in the X-axis direction from between the upper holding parts 62 and the lower holding parts 66. When the end of the attachment 50 and the side panel 40A in the Z-axis direction is attached to the first wall surface 21, the attachment 50 and the backup material 7 fill the space between the side panel 40A and the second wall surface 22, and the abutment surface 733 of the backup material 7 abuts against the second wall surface 22. A backup material 13 is provided between the side surface 413 of the side panel 40B and the second wall surface 23. In this embodiment, on the second wall surface 22 side, the attachment 50 is attached to a bracket 15 fixed to the second wall surface 22 so as to prevent the attachment 50 from sagging downward due to a load, and the attachment 50 is supported by this bracket 15. On the second wall surface 23 side, the side panel 40B is attached to a bracket 15 fixed to the second wall surface 23 so as to prevent the side panel 40B from sagging downward due to a load, and the side panel 40B is supported by this bracket 15. In this embodiment, each of the brackets 15 supports the tip end portions of the attachment 50 and the side panel 40B that are spaced apart from the second wall surface in the Z-axis direction, thereby preventing the attachment 50 and the side panel 40B from sagging downward even when the sealant 81 is applied, thereby suppressing a decrease in watertightness. In this embodiment, the bracket 15 on the second wall surface 22 side is screwed between the lower retaining portion 66 (retaining portion) of the attachment 50 that is arranged along the side surface 702 of the backup material 7 and the lower retaining portion 66 that faces it from the base piece portion 51 side.
End members along the X-axis direction are attached to the intermediate panel 31, the side panels 40A, 40B, and the attachment 50 at their tip ends spaced apart in the Z-axis direction from the first wall surface 21. In addition, a sealant 81 is applied to the periphery of the mounting body 11 and to positions above and below the backup materials 7, 13. On the backup material 7 side, the sealant 81 is applied to the seal groove 80 described above, and on the backup material 13 side, the sealant 81 is applied between the side panel 40B and the second wall surface 23. In addition, the recesses 37 formed on the underside of the eave surface material 3 are arranged at 50 mm intervals in the X-axis direction, improving the design.

[Summary of the invention]
The mounting structure for a horizontal surface member of the present invention is a mounting structure for a horizontal surface member that mounts a horizontal surface member to an inside corner formed by a first wall surface of a building wall and a second wall surface that intersects with the first wall surface, and the horizontal surface member has a surface member main body that is attached to the first wall surface and an attachment that forms the side edge of the horizontal surface member that faces the second wall surface, and the attachment has a base piece portion fixed to the surface member main body and an upper piece portion and a lower piece portion that extend from the base piece toward the second wall surface, and the upper piece portion and the lower piece portion have a plurality of holding portions that are arranged side by side along their respective extension directions and hold a backup material that abuts against the second wall surface, and the upper piece portion and the lower piece portion are configured to be freely adjustable in length at positions between adjacent holding portions among the plurality of holding portions.
According to the mounting structure for horizontal surface members of the present invention, the upper and lower piece portions of the attachment fixed to the horizontal surface member are configured to be breakable at each position between adjacent holding portions among multiple holding portions that hold the backup material, so that the upper and lower piece portions of the attachment, whose base piece portion is fixed to the surface member body, can be broken off depending on the distance between the side edge portion of the horizontal surface member and the second wall surface of the inside corner portion, thereby allowing the backup material held by the attachment to be properly abutted against the second wall surface and improving watertightness.
In the mounting structure for a horizontal surface member of the present invention, the upper piece portion has, as its holding portions, a plurality of upper holding portions that each protrude toward the lower piece portion, and the lower piece portion has, as its holding portions, a plurality of lower holding portions that each protrude toward the upper piece portion, and at each position between the plurality of upper holding portions of the upper piece portion, an upper break-off groove is formed so that the upper piece portion can be broken off, and at each position between the plurality of lower holding portions of the lower piece portion, a lower break-off groove is formed so that the lower piece portion can be broken off, and the spacing between the upper holding portion of the plurality of upper holding portions that faces the base piece portion and the base piece portion, and the spacing between adjacent upper holding portions of the plurality of upper holding portions, may each be a spacing that can hold the backup material, and the spacing between the lower holding portion of the plurality of lower holding portions that faces the base piece portion and the base piece portion, and the spacing between adjacent lower holding portions of the plurality of lower holding portions may each be a spacing that can hold the backup material.
With this configuration, the backup material can be held between the multiple upper holding portions in the upper piece portion and between the multiple lower holding portions in the lower piece portion, and even if the upper piece portion and the lower piece portion are broken off in the upper breaking groove and the lower breaking groove, leaving only the upper holding portion and the lower holding portion located closest to the base piece portion, the backup material can be held between the base piece portion and the upper holding portion and the lower holding portion.
In the mounting structure for a horizontal surface material of the present invention, the backup material has a base having an upper portion held between the base piece portion and the upper holding portion or between adjacent upper holding portions, and a lower portion held between the base piece portion and the lower holding portion or between adjacent lower holding portions, and an abutment portion protruding from the base and abutting the second wall surface, and the abutment portion, the attachment and the second wall surface may form sealing grooves at positions above and below the abutment portion.
With this configuration, the upper and lower parts of the base of the backup material are held by the upper and lower holding parts of the attachment, making it possible to easily position the backup material and form the specified sealing grooves above and below the contact part of the backup material.
In the mounting structure for horizontal surface members of the present invention, the surface member main body has a plurality of intermediate panels arranged in a row in the width direction along the first wall surface, and side panels connected to the sides of the intermediate panels along the second wall surface and to which the base piece portions of the attachments are fixed, and the side panels are composed of any one panel material selected from a plurality of panel materials having different width dimensions that are less than the width dimension of the intermediate panel in the width direction, and the width dimension of the attachment in the width direction may be less than the width dimension of the panel material with the smallest width dimension among the plurality of panel materials.
According to this configuration, by constructing the side panels using panel materials selected as described above depending on the gap between the intermediate panel and the second wall surface, the gap between the side panel and the second wall surface is equal to or less than the width of the side panel. By adjusting the width of the attachment according to this gap, the combined width of the attachment and backup material can be adjusted to correspond to the gap between the side panel and the second wall surface, thereby allowing the backup material held by the attachment to properly abut the second wall surface. Furthermore, by combining the intermediate panel and side panels described above, it is possible to improve workability by simply preparing a single attachment whose width is equal to or less than the width of the smallest panel material among the multiple panels.
