Description
The present invention relates to a fastener for fixing a supported object, such as a refrigerant pipe or cable, to a long member such as a hanging member, or for fixing a supported object, such as a diagonal member made of a fully threaded bolt, to a long member such as a fully threaded bolt.
Patent Document 1 proposes a pipe support mounting member as a fastener for attaching a support band that supports pipes to a hanging member suspended from an architectural structure.
The mounting member of Patent Document 1 is explained using Figure 22. Figure 22 shows the mounting member, with the upper part fixed to the structure and the other part hanging downward, viewed axially through a suspension bolt (hanging member) a, where (a) shows the mounting member during installation and (b) shows the mounting member during an earthquake.
As shown in Figure 22, the mounting member (fixture) has a roughly U-shaped mounting body c for assembling a support band b to a hanging bolt a, and the mounting body c has engagement holes g and h at the top and bottom bent portions e and f of a base d that engage with the hanging bolt a, with biasing members i for biasing the hanging bolt a in the engagement holes g and h. Note that Figure 22 shows only one side of the top and bottom bent portions e and f and the engagement holes g and h.
When the mounting member is installed, as shown in Figure 22(a), when the suspension bolt a is engaged in the engagement holes g and h, the biasing member i biases the suspension bolt a, and the inclined surface i1 of the biasing member i and the wedge-shaped tapered portions g1 and h1 in the engagement holes g and h abut against the suspension bolt a, engaging with the threads (groove) of the suspension bolt a and securing it in place through the biasing force.
On the other hand, when a large external force such as an earthquake applies a load in the direction in which support band b approaches suspension bolt a (indicated by symbol "F1"), as shown in Figure 22(b), biasing member (spring member) i receives a force from suspension bolt a in the opposite direction (indicated by symbol "F2"), and biasing member i is pushed back until it contacts the support band b side ends of engagement holes g and h (indicated by symbols "g2, h2").
This widens the gap δ toward the openings g3 and h3 of the engagement holes g and h. In the event of a large external force, such as an earthquake, the mounting member may become dislodged from the suspension bolt (suspending member) a and fall off.
Patent Document 2 also discloses a pipe support (fixing device) in which a hanging member is inserted into an engagement hole to bias the hanging member, but this too can have the same problems as those described above when subjected to large external forces.
In addition, in order to secure and support equipment to a structure, the long member and the supported part are sometimes made of diagonal members with fully threaded bolts, and even the fasteners that secure the diagonal members together can be prone to falling off due to large external forces.
As described above, with conventional fasteners, if a large unintended external force, such as an earthquake force, is applied after installation, the biasing member may be pushed, causing the attachment position relative to the hanging member to change, or the biasing member may be pushed by vibrations in the supported equipment, causing the fastener to come off the long member or supported object.
In light of this situation, the present invention aims to provide a fastener that can prevent long members or supported objects from coming loose even when a large external force is applied.

In the present invention, it is preferable that when an external force causes the elongated member in the engagement hole to deform the biasing member and move toward the one end, the elongated member abuts against the one end and is positioned accordingly. At the same time, when the biasing member is deformed, the biasing member is deformed to a position further back than the one end, away from the abutting end.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the locking structure of the biasing member is a convex portion, and when an external force causes the elongated member in the engagement hole to deform the biasing member and move toward the one end, the gap δ narrowed by the convex portion of the opening is smaller than the outer diameter D of the elongated member.
In the present invention, the engagement portion is formed with a locking portion that protrudes toward the one end near the opening and makes the distance between the opening smaller than the distance between the one end and the abutting end, and it is preferable that when the elongated member in the engagement hole moves toward the opening due to an external force while being biased by the biasing member, the locking portion restricts the movement of the elongated member.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the biasing member has an introduction end formed contiguous with the locking structure, for pressing the biasing member with the elongated member when the elongated member is introduced into the engagement hole through the opening.
In the present invention, the introduction end is formed as a slope that moves away from the end opposite the abutment end as it approaches the locking structure, and it is preferable that the locking structure is formed at a position closer to the end than the terminal end of the introduction end.
The present invention is a fastener for fixing a supported object to an elongated member, comprising: a support portion for supporting the supported object; a base portion to which the support portion is attached on one side; an attachment body having an engaging portion that protrudes from the other side of the base and whose abutting end engages with the elongated member introduced into an engaging hole through an opening; a biasing member that biases the elongated member from one end side to the abutting end side within the engaging hole; and a fall-off prevention member that is separate from the biasing member and has a locking structure that locks onto the side portion of the elongated member within the engaging hole and prevents the elongated member from coming off the engaging hole.
In the present invention, if an external force causes the elongated member in the engagement hole to deform the biasing member or anti-detachment member and move toward one end, it is preferable that the one end abuts against the elongated member to restrict movement.

In the first embodiment, the biasing member 24 is formed with a locking structure 26 consisting of a recess that locks onto the side surface of the suspending member and prevents the suspending member from disengaging from the engagement holes 18, 18.
The mounting body 22 has upper and lower engaging portions 20, 20 that protrude from positions spaced apart above and below the base 16 (in the direction along the length of the hanging member 10) to the side opposite the mounting side of the support portion 14, and have engaging holes 18, 18 formed therein to engage with the hanging member 10, which are inserted through openings 18a, 18a on one side of the width of the base 16.
The biasing member 24 biases the suspension member 10 (located within the engagement holes 18, 18) in a direction away from the base 16. The biasing member 24 also has a locking structure 26 formed therein, which is a recess that fits over the side of the suspension member 10 when positioned within the engagement holes 18, 18, preventing the suspension member 10 from moving in the direction of the openings 18a, 18a and preventing it from coming off the engagement holes 18, 18.
The hanging member 10 is a fully threaded long bolt (such as a hanging bolt) that is suspended and fixed to the architectural structure.
The support section 14 comprises a main body 14a bent into a roughly U-shape in side view, with an inlet 14a1 for introducing the supported object 12 from above, and a lid member 14b that can open and close the inlet 14a1 above the main body 14a. The widthwise ends of the main body 14a and lid member 14b are reinforced by bending them. The opposite end of the base 16 of the lid member 14b is rotatably connected to the main body 14a by a hinge 14h, and the side end of the base 16 can be hooked and secured by various locking structures 14c, such as by hooking the side end of the base 16 into a notch.
In the mounting body 22, the base 16 is made of metal and has a roughly band-like shape that extends vertically along the hanging member 10 when attached. The base 16 and the upper and lower engaging portions 20, 20 are integrally formed by bending or otherwise forming a roughly U-shape when viewed from the side, so that the upper and lower engaging portions 20, 20 protrude from the upper and lower ends of the base 16 on the side opposite the attachment side where the support portion 14 of the base 16 is fixed. The upper and lower engaging portions 20, 20 may also be fixed to the base 16 by welding or other means to form the mounting body 22.
The support portion 14 is located on one side of the base portion 16, and the biasing member 24 is located on the other side. The support portion 14 and biasing member 24 are fixed to the base portion 16 with various fixing members 30, such as rivets or bolt and nut fasteners.
In this embodiment, the engagement portion 20 protrudes toward the one end 18c near the opening 18a and is formed with a locking portion 18d that makes the spacing of the opening 18a smaller than the spacing between the one end 18c and the abutting end 18b. When the suspension member (elongated member) 10 in the engagement hole 18 is biased by the biasing member 24 and moves toward the opening due to an external force, the locking portion 18d restricts the movement of the suspension member 10.
More specifically, the upper and lower engagement portions 20, 20 are each formed in a roughly C-shape with the engagement holes 18, 18 notched out. The upper and lower engagement portions 20, 20 have one end 18c, 18c, located closer to the support portion 14 than the openings 18a, 18a of the engagement holes 18, 18, and formed parallel to the width direction of the base 16. The opposite side of the support portion 14 is formed slightly wider, as if carved out, and the carved portion has abutting ends 18b, 18b (locking claws) with tapered tips that engage with the threads of the hanging member 10. Furthermore, the carved portion near the openings 18a, 18a has an L-shaped locking portion 18d, 18d protruding toward the support portion 14.
The biasing member 24 has an introduction end 28 that is continuous with the locking structure 26, which is a recess, and is used by the suspension member 10 to press the biasing member 24 when the suspension member 10 is introduced from the openings 18a, 18a into the engagement holes 18, 18.
Specifically, the biasing member 24 is formed integrally with the introduction end 28 and the locking structure 26, which consists of a recess, and is located between the upper and lower engagement portions 20, 20. The introduction end 28 is formed as a slope that moves away from the base 16 as it approaches the locking structure 26, which consists of a recess, and the locking structure 26 is formed closer to the base 16 than the terminal end 28e of the introduction end 28.
In the biasing member 24, locking claws 26a, 26a that engage with the threads of the hanging member 10 are formed protruding from both vertical ends of the locking structure 26.
The biasing member 24 is formed by bending a metal plate material with a notch (notch 24c) cut out in the center of its width into a V-shape when viewed from above. On the side of the base 16 (support part 14) facing the bent part 24a, a flat part 24b fixed to the base 16 by a fixing member 30 and an operating part 32a are formed. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the base 16, an introduction end 28, a locking structure 26, and an operating part 32b are formed.
Operating portion 32a is formed so that it is spaced a few millimeters from base 16 via a step from flat portion 24b. By grasping both operating portions 32a, 32b and applying pressure to bring them closer together, the introduction end 28 bends toward flat portion 24b, allowing the suspension member 10 to be introduced into the engagement hole 18, making it easy for the operator to handle.
The biasing member 24 has a V-shape centered on the bending point 24a, allowing it to bend elastically from the bending point 24a. Meanwhile, the recessed locking structure 26 is supported up to the bending point 24a by the linear introduction end 28, making it difficult for the locking structure 26 to deform in the direction approaching the openings 18a, 18a. This firmly restricts movement of the suspending member 10 fitted into the locking structure 26. Furthermore, as long as the locking structure 26 and introduction end 28 can restrict movement of the suspending member 10, they can be formed into various shapes, including bent.
The introduction end 28 has a roughly U-shaped profile due to the cutout 24c, extending from the bent portion 24a toward the locking structure 26. A tool can be attached to the fixing member 30 through the cutout 24c to fix the fixing member 30 (specifically, by tightening with bolts and nuts or riveting).
In addition, the introduction end 28 has two slopes that move away from the base 16 as it approaches the locking structure 26, allowing the hanging member 10 to be introduced while being supported at two points along its length, making it less likely to shift position.
The recess in the locking structure 26 is formed closer to the base 16 than the terminal end 28e of the introduction end 28. Specifically, the introduction end 28 moves away from the base 16, and at the terminal end 28e, one end bends toward the base 16 and connects to the locking structure 26 consisting of a recess, then extends from the locking structure 26 away from the base 16 and connects to the flat operating portion 32b. The cutout portion 24c divides the introduction end 28 and locking structure 26 into two parts in the width direction and continues partway down the operating portion 32b, forming an integral, flat portion with the operating portion 32b.
When the suspension member (long member) 10 in the engagement hole of the biasing member 24 is deformed by an external force and moves toward the one end 18c, the suspension member 10 abuts against the one end 18c and is positioned (see Figure 6(b)). At the same time, when the biasing member 24 is deformed, the biasing member 24 is designed to be able to deform to a rear position away from the one end 18c and away from the abutting end 18b (see Figure 5).
Specifically, when the bending portion 24a of the biasing member 24 is elastically bent and deformed, the range of motion is such that, as explained with reference to Figure 5, when the biasing member 24 moves away from the abutting end 18b toward the base 16, the introduction end 28 moves so as to bend past the one end 18c and approach the base 16. Furthermore, when the biasing member 24 is deformed by an external force and moves toward the one end 18c, the suspension member 10 abuts against the one end 18c and is positioned accordingly.
[Operation and effect of the first embodiment]
FIG. 5 shows the operation state when attaching and detaching the fastener to the hanging member 10.
As shown in Figure 5, when the biasing member 24 is deformed, it is configured to be deformed to a rear position farther away from the contact end 18b than the one end 18c.
When attaching or detaching the fixing device to the suspension member 10, as shown in Figure 5, the worker pinches the operating parts 32a and 32b with their fingers and applies force, deeply bending and deforming the operating parts 32a and 32b so that they move closer together against the elastic force of the biasing member 24.
By bending and deforming the biasing member 24, as shown in Figure 5, the locking structure 26 is positioned adjacent to or enters the support portion 14 side from the introduction end 28 of the biasing member 24, rather than the position of the end 18c on the support portion 14 side within the engagement holes 18, 18, making it easier to introduce the suspension member 10 into the engagement holes 18, 18 through the openings 18a, 18a. This allows the suspension member 10 to be attached to and detached from the engagement holes 18 through the openings 18a, 18a.
Another method of attaching the fastener is to attach it to the hanging member 10 by pushing in without gripping the operating parts 32a and 32b.
In other words, by fitting the suspension member 10 into the openings 18a and applying force to the fastener to push the suspension member 10 into the engagement holes 18, the suspension member 10 enters between the locking portions 18d and 18d of the openings 18a (the support portion 14 side) and the introduction end 28. The suspension member 10 then slides down the slope of the introduction end 28, pushing open the biasing member 24. The suspension member 10 passes the terminal end 28e and fits into the recessed engagement structure 26, as shown in Figures 2 and 6(a), completing the installation of the fastener. At this time, the suspension member 10 is biased and pressed by the biasing member 24 toward the opposite side of the support portion 14, so that the abutting ends 18b and 18b engage with the threads of the suspension member 10. The vertical position of the suspension member 10 is fixed relative to the engagement holes 18, preventing misalignment.
When installing the supported object 12 on the fixture fixed to the hanging member 10, as shown in Figure 3, open the cover member 14b of the support part 14, insert the supported object 12 into the main body part 14a, and then close the cover member 14b to complete the installation.
If an external force causes the suspending member (long member) 10 inside the engagement hole 18 of the biasing member 24 to deform and move toward the one end 18c, as shown in Figure 6(b), the suspending member 10 will come into contact with the one end 18c and be positioned accordingly, preventing the suspending member 10 from coming out of the engagement hole 18.
When a large external force is applied, such as during an earthquake, the weight of the supported object 12 causes the support portion 14 to vibrate. As the support portion 14 moves, the suspension member 10 presses the biasing member 24 toward the support portion 14. As shown in Figure 6(b), the biasing member 24 bends toward the support portion 14 due to the pressing force. The suspension member 10 hits the end faces of the ends 18c, 18c on the support portion 14 side of the engagement holes 18, 18, preventing it from moving any further.
Furthermore, when the movement of the support portion 14 causes the suspension member 10 to move toward the openings 18a, 18a of the engagement holes 18, 18 and press against the biasing member 24, as shown in Figures 7 and 8, the suspension member 10 fits into the locking structure 26 consisting of a recess within the engagement holes 18, 18, and the introduction end 28 is unlikely to elastically deform toward the bending point 24a. Therefore, the movement of the suspension member 10 toward the openings 18a, 18a is restricted by the biasing member 24 connected to the locking structure 26, preventing the suspension member 10 from coming off the engagement holes 18, 18.
In the first embodiment, as shown in Figure 8, the terminal end 28e of the introduction end 28 of the biasing member 24 is a convex portion that protrudes toward the abutment end 18b adjacent to the recess of the locking structure 26. With this configuration, if the suspension member 10 (elongated member) in the engagement hole 18 is deformed by an external force such as an earthquake and moves toward the one end, the gap δ narrowed by the convex portion of the terminal end 28e of the opening is smaller than the outer diameter D of the suspension member 10 (elongated member). In this case, when the hanging member 10 (elongated member) abuts against one end 18c, the distance δ between the locking portions 18d, 18d of the engagement holes 18, 18 and the terminal end 28e of the introduction end 28 is narrower than the outer diameter D of the hanging member 10 (elongated member), so the hanging member 10 abuts against the locking portions 18d, 18d and the terminal end 28e, 28e, preventing the hanging member 10 from passing through the distance δ any further, ensuring reliable restriction.
As a result, even if a strong external force, such as during an earthquake, is applied to the suspension member 10 (long member) and the supported object 12, they can be reliably prevented from coming loose from the engagement holes 18, 18.
Second Embodiment
FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram of a fixture according to the second embodiment.
The fastener according to the second embodiment has the same structure as the first embodiment, including the support portion 14, base portion 16, and upper and lower engagement portions 20, and similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
As shown in Figure 9, in the second embodiment, the biasing member 24A is a fixture in which the introduction end 28A, which is continuous with the locking structure 26A consisting of a recess, is formed so that the introduction end 28A presses the biasing member 24A with the hanging member 10 (corresponding to a long member, not shown as it is similar to the hanging member 10 of the first embodiment) when the biasing member 24A is introduced into the engagement holes 18 from the openings 18a. The introduction end 28A is formed approximately parallel to the base 16, and the locking structure 26A is formed closer to the base 16 than the terminal end 28Ae of the introduction end 28A.
The mounting portion 24Aa is flat and fits tightly against the base 16 and is fixed by a fixing member 30. The width of the mounting portion 24Aa is dimensioned to fit within the width of the base 16.
The opening 18a, 18a side in the width direction of the base 16 is designated as one side (designated "W1"), and the opposite side is designated as the other side (designated "W2").
Continuing portion 24Ab continues at a 90-degree angle from the end of the other side W2 of mounting portion 24Aa in a direction away from support portion 14 (indicated by symbol "D1").
The biasing member 24A is composed of a flat mounting portion 24Aa that contacts the base 16 and is fixed by a fixing member 30; a continuous portion 24Ab that rises vertically in the direction D1 away from the support portion 14 at the other side W2 of the base 16 (described below); a locking structure 26A formed at the extending end of the continuous portion 24Ab that is bent toward one side W1 of the base and recessed toward the base 16; and an introduction end 28A that is continuous with one side W1 of the locking structure 26A and has a generally U-shaped cross section when viewed from above and below (viewed axially of the hanging member 10).
In this embodiment, each part of the biasing member 24A is formed by bending a metal plate of the same thickness using press forming or the like. This configuration is one example, and it is also possible to form each part or part separately and then fix them together by welding or the like.
The locking structure 26A is continuous with the tip of the continuous portion 24Ab, and an introduction end 28A extends from the locking structure 26A to one side W1, with the tip of the introduction end 28A extending forward from one side end of the base 16.
At the introduction end 28A, the bottom 26Ab of the locking structure 26A, which is a recess, is recessed toward the base 16 from the sliding surface 28As along which the suspension member 10 slides during introduction.
When attaching the second embodiment of the fastener to the suspension member 10, the worker bends the introduction end 28A toward the base 16 and presses the suspension member 10 against the sliding surface 28As. The suspension member 10 is then pushed through the openings 18a and into the engagement holes 18, where it is fitted into the locking structure 26A and held in place.
The suspension member 10 fits into the locking structure 26A within the engagement holes 18, 18, and the terminal end 28Ae of the introduction end 28A protrudes from the engagement holes 18, 18 relative to the locking structure 26A, forming a convex portion that prevents it from falling off. The concave portion of the locking structure 26A fits snugly against the suspension member 10, providing a stable biasing force and ensuring stable anti-falloff force.
As a result, the movement of the suspension member 10 in the direction of the openings 18a, 18a is restricted by the biasing member 24 connected to the locking structure 26, reliably preventing the suspension member 10 from coming off the engagement holes 18, 18. Even if the suspension member 10 attempts to move from the locking structure 26A toward the introduction end 28A, it will come into contact with the locking portions 18d, 18d on the opening side, preventing it from coming off.
Third Embodiment
10 is an explanatory diagram of a fixture according to a third embodiment. The fixture according to the third embodiment has the same structure as the first embodiment, including the support portion 14, base portion 16, and upper and lower engagement portions 20, and the like, and the like parts are denoted by the same reference numerals.
As shown in Figure 10, the fixture according to the third embodiment includes a base 16 to which a support portion 14 having the same structure as that of the first embodiment is fixed, and a mounting body 22 having upper and lower engaging portions 20, 20 formed with engaging holes 18, 18 that engage with the suspension member 10 (the central axis of which is indicated by a two-dot chain line).
The fastener according to the third embodiment is a fastener that includes a biasing member 24B between the upper and lower engagement portions 20, 20, from one end 18c to the abutting end 18b, specifically, that biases the suspension member 10 in the engagement holes 18, 18 in a direction away from the base 16, and a fall-off prevention member 34 that, separate from the biasing member 24B, forms a locking structure 26B consisting of a recess by fitting the side portion of the suspension member 10 into the engagement holes 18, 18, and biases the suspension member 10 in a direction away from the base 16 to prevent the suspension member 10 from coming off the engagement holes 18, 18.
The biasing member 24B is formed by bending a metal plate material with a notch (notch 24Bc) cut in the center of its width into a V-shape when viewed from above. The biasing member 24B has a flat portion 24Bb and an operating portion 32Ba that abut against the base 16 from the support portion 14 side, separated by the bend 24Ba, and are fixed by the fixing member 30. On the other hand, the biasing member 24B is integrally formed flat from the inclined introduction end 28B to the operating portion 32Bb on the opposite side of the base 16. The upper and lower ends of the introduction end 28B are formed with locking claws 28Ba, 28Ba that lock onto the threads of the hanging member 10.
The anti-slip member 34 is an elastically deformable, roughly band-shaped member with a locking structure 26B formed midway along its length, and its length extends obliquely relative to the width of the base 16. It has slopes 34b, 34b at the front and rear of the locking structure 26B.
The biasing member 24B and the anti-detachment member 34 are integrally press-formed from metal plate material.
When attaching the fixing device according to the third embodiment to the suspension member 10, the operator grasps the operating portions 32Ba, 32Bb, bends the introduction end 28B toward the base 16, presses the suspension member 10 against the sliding surface 28Bs, and pushes the suspension member 10 through the openings 18a, 18a and into the engagement holes 18, 18. At the same time, the suspension member 10 fits into the locking structure 26B within the engagement holes 18, 18. Because the suspension member 10 fits into the locking structure 26B of the anti-slip member 34 and is positioned within the engagement holes 18, 18, the anti-slip member 34 restricts movement of the suspension member 10 toward the openings 18a, 18a, reliably preventing the suspension member 10 from coming off the engagement holes 18, 18.
In the fastener according to the third embodiment, the biasing member 24B and the fall prevention member 34 are formed separately. Therefore, after attaching the fastener to the hanging member 10, the attachment height can be adjusted by loosening the biasing member 24B.
At this time, the operator pinches the operating parts 32Ba, 32Bb to reduce the biasing force, releasing the engagement between the suspending member 10 and the abutment end 18b and the locking claws 28Ba, 28Ba, and adjusting the height of the suspending member 10. Because the biasing force of the biasing member 24B is reduced without deforming the anti-slip member 34, the suspending member 10 does not come off the locking structure 26B and moves only up and down within the engagement holes 18 of the upper and lower engagement parts 20, 20, without moving toward the openings 18a, 18a. Therefore, the fastener will not fall off the suspending member 10.
In addition, the elastic force of the biasing member 24B and the elastic force of the anti-detachment member 34 can be set separately, allowing for an appropriate attachment pressure.
Fourth Embodiment
11 is an explanatory diagram of a fixture according to a fourth embodiment. The fixture according to the fourth embodiment has the same structure as the support portion 14, base portion 16, etc. of the first embodiment, and the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals.
As shown in Figure 11, the fixture according to the fourth embodiment includes a base 16 to which the support 14 is fixed, and a mounting body 38 having upper and lower engagement portions 36U and 36D that engage with the suspension member 10 (the central axis of which is indicated by a two-dot chain line).
The upper engagement portion 36U has an engagement hole 36Ua formed with an opening facing the other widthwise side (indicated by "W2") of the base 16. The lower engagement portion 36D has an engagement hole 36Da formed with an opening facing one widthwise side (indicated by "W1") of the base 16. The engagement holes 36Ua, 36Da of each engagement portion 36U, 36D are roughly U-shaped, with their respective openings facing in opposite directions, W2 and W1.
The fixture is configured such that a biasing member 40 that applies a biasing force to the suspending member 10 and a fall prevention member 42 that prevents the suspending member 10 from falling off are integrally formed between the engaging portions 36U, 36D, and the biasing member 44 is fixed to the base 16 by the fixing member 30. The biasing member 44 is formed by pressing an elastic metal plate, but each part or portion can also be formed separately and integrated by welding.
Specifically, the biasing member 44 comprises a flat portion 44a that is fixed to the base 16, and tongue-shaped portions 44b (elastic plate material forming the biasing member 40 and the anti-detachment member 42) that are bent obliquely from the upper and lower ends of the flat portion 44a in a direction away from the base 16.
The tongue-shaped portion 44b has a rectangular recess 40a (corresponding to a "locking structure") cut out from the tip, and the biasing member 40 is formed from the recess 40a toward the flat portion 44a. In this case, notches 40b, 40b are formed from both ends of the width of the recess 40a toward the flat portion 44a. The portion sandwiched between these notches 40b, 40b is partially separated from the rest by the notches 40b, 40b, forming an elastically deformable biasing member 40 that functions to elastically press against the suspension member 10 attached within the recess 40a.
The anti-slip member 42 is a wall-like portion of the tongue-shaped portion 44b adjacent to the cut-out recess 40a, and is formed as a portion located on the opening side of the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da. When the suspending member 10 within the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da attempts to move in the width direction (W2 and W1 directions) of the base 16, the anti-slip member 42 abuts against the suspending member 10 to restrict further movement and prevent it from falling out of the recess 40a.
At the tongue-shaped portion 44b, the biasing member 40 and the anti-slip member 42 are separated by notches 40b, 40b, and the edges of the biasing member 40 and the anti-slip member 42 surround the recess 40a.
The anti-slip member 42 is therefore formed as a wall-like portion adjacent to the recess 40a. The wall-like portion also has a bulge 40c that extends flush with the surface and protrudes toward the opening of the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da. This bulge 40c is configured so that an operator can press the bulge 40c with their finger to bend the anti-slip member 42 toward the support portion 14, thereby allowing the suspending member 10 to be attached to the recess 40a.
In the fourth embodiment of the fastener, when the suspending member 10 is installed in the recess 40a, the anti-slip member 42 forming the edge of the recess 40a securely restricts the movement of the suspending member 10, thereby preventing it from falling off. At the same time, the suspending member 10 is pressed in the D1 direction by the anti-slip member 42, pressing it against the inner circumferential surfaces of the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da of the engagement portions 36U and 36D. By providing tapered portions on the inner circumferential surfaces of the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da that abut and engage with the threads, the edges act as locking pawls, providing a positioning function.
Fifth Embodiment
FIG. 12 is an explanatory diagram of a fixing device according to a fifth embodiment.
As shown in Figure 12, the fixture according to the fifth embodiment includes a base 16 to which a support portion 14 having the same structure as that of the fourth embodiment is fixed, and a mounting body 38 having upper and lower engagement portions 36U and 36D with engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da formed therein that engage with the suspension member 10 (the central axis of which is indicated by a two-dot chain line). Similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
The fixture is configured such that a biasing member 50 that applies a biasing force to the suspending member 10 and a fall prevention member 52 that prevents the suspending member 10 from falling off are integrally formed into a biasing body 54 between the engaging portions 36U, 36D, and the biasing body 54 is fixed to the base 16 by the fixing member 30. The biasing body 54 is formed by pressing an elastic metal plate, but each part or part can also be formed separately and integrated by welding. The holding portion 50b can be integrally formed, or a separate part can be fixed together by welding or other means.
Specifically, the biasing body 54 comprises a flat portion 54a that is fixed to the base 16, and biasing members 50 (with anti-detachment members 52 formed) that are bent obliquely from the upper and lower ends of the flat portion 54a in a direction away from the base 16.
The biasing member 50 is made of an elastic plate that protrudes obliquely away from the base 16. The tip end of the biasing member 50 (the side away from the base 16) is recessed toward the base 16 side of the biasing member 50 to form a recess 50a into which the side of the suspending member 10 fits and prevents the suspending member 10 from disengaging from the upper and lower engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da. A cylindrical side surface-shaped retaining portion 50b that holds the side of the suspending member 10 is provided in the recess 50a along the length of the suspending member 10.
On both sides of the width of the recess 50a of the biasing member 50, wall-like portions that support the hanging member 10 are formed as anti-detachment members 52.
The suspension member 10 fits into the recess 50a within the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da, and the retaining portion 50b fits snugly against the suspension member 10 in the recess 50a, and the biasing member 50 applies a stable biasing force to hold the suspension member 10 in place, preventing axial movement of the suspension member 10. Furthermore, the suspension member 10 is supported on both sides in the width direction by the anti-slip members 52, reliably preventing the suspension member 10 from falling out of the engagement holes 36Ua and 36Da even when subjected to vibrations such as earthquakes.
Sixth Embodiment
FIG. 13 is a three-dimensional perspective view illustrating a fixing device according to a sixth embodiment of the present invention.
The fastener according to the sixth embodiment relates to a cross fitting that fastens intersecting fully threaded bolts together. As shown in FIG. 13, this fastener is a cross fitting for fastening a long member 10 made of fully threaded bolts and a supported object 112 also made of fully threaded bolts at their intersection. For example, when hanging ceiling-suspended equipment using suspension bolts, this can be used as a cross fitting for fastening fully threaded bolts (corresponding to the long member 10 and supported object 112 in the sixth embodiment) for diagonal members that are connected to the suspension bolts to prevent the equipment from swaying.
The fixture according to the sixth embodiment mainly comprises a support portion 114 that supports the supported object 112, and a base portion 16 to which the support portion 114 is attached on one side. The remaining components, such as the base portion 16, engagement portion 20, mounting body 22, and biasing member 24, have the same structure as the fixture according to the first embodiment, and therefore the same parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
In the sixth embodiment, instead of the support portion 14 of the first embodiment, the fastener has a support portion 114 that includes a base 116, an engaging portion 120, an attachment body 122, a biasing member 124, etc.
This support portion 114 has the same structure as the fastener of the first embodiment, and the same parts are designated by reference numerals with 100 added, such as the engagement portion 120, mounting body 122, and biasing member 24.
The base 16 of the mounting body 22 and the base 116 of the mounting body 122 of the support part 114 are arranged back to back, and are rotatably fixed to each other by the fixing member 30 with their respective longitudinal directions rotated at an arbitrary angle.
In more detail, the support portion 114 of the fixture comprises a base portion 116, a mounting body 122 that protrudes from one side of the base portion 116 (the side opposite the elongated member 10) and has engaging portions 120, 120 whose abutting ends 118b, 118b abut and engage with the supported object 112, which is a long-threaded bolt inserted into the engaging holes 118, 118 from the openings 118a, 118a, and a biasing member 124 that biases the supported object 112 from the one end 118c, 118c side toward the abutting end 118b, 118b side within the engaging holes 118, 118. The biasing member 124 is formed with a locking structure 126 consisting of a recess that locks onto the side portion of the supported object 112 to prevent the supported object 112 from coming off the engaging holes 118, 118.
The fixing device of the sixth embodiment generally achieves the same effects as the fixing device of the first embodiment, and the support portion 114 also achieves the same effects as the fixing device, allowing for easy attachment and detachment of the long bolts of the supported object 12 and preventing them from coming loose. Furthermore, the base portion 16 and support portion 114 are rotatable around the fixing member 30. By making the fixing member 30 rotatable to a certain extent, construction can be carried out by aligning the positions of the engaging portions 120, 120 to match the intersection angle between the long member 10 and the supported object 112, and then fixing the fixing member 30. This makes it easy to fix the long member 10 and the supported object 112 together by easily matching the intersection angle of the diagonal members.
Seventh Embodiment
FIG. 14 is a three-dimensional perspective view illustrating a fixing device according to a seventh embodiment.
As shown in Figure 14, the fastener according to the seventh embodiment has a hook-shaped support portion 214 that can hook and secure a rope or cloth-like supported object (not shown). The remaining configurations, such as the base portion 16, engagement portion 20, mounting body 22, and biasing member 24, are the same as those of the first embodiment, and similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
The support portion 214 is integrally formed with a linearly extending main body 214a and a hook-shaped support end 214b, which is bent in an arc at the lower end (example of one end) of the main body 214a.
The fixture according to the seventh embodiment allows the support end 214b to be hooked onto the eyelet hole of a flexible duct, for example, to serve as a supported object, and the flexible duct can be easily hung from a hanging member (long member). This means that the fixture can be secured to an appropriate hanging member to secure the supported object.
Eighth Embodiment
Figures 15 to 18 are explanatory diagrams of a fastener according to the eighth embodiment. Figure 15 shows the state at completion of installation with the hanging member (long member) attached, Figure 16 shows the state at removal, and Figure 17 shows the state at the time of an earthquake. Figure 18 (a) shows a plan view of the state at completion of installation, (b) shows the state at removal, and (c) shows the state at the time of an earthquake.
The fastener according to the eighth embodiment is a fastener for fixing a supported object, such as a pipe, to a long member, such as a hanging member 10. Unlike the first embodiment, the openings 318a of the engagement holes 318 in the upper and lower engagement portions 320 are opened vertically outward from the base 316 of the mounting body 322; in other words, the openings 318a open on the side opposite the mounting side of the support portion 14. Note that the same reference numerals are used for parts of the fastener, support portion 14, etc. that are similar to those of the first embodiment.
The fixture according to the eighth embodiment comprises a support portion 14 that supports a supported object (not shown), such as a pipe; a base 316 to which the support portion 14 is attached on one side; an attachment body 322 provided on the other side of the base 316 and having a pair of engagement portions 320 spaced apart vertically, the abutting ends 318b of which abut and engage with a suspension member 10 introduced into the engagement hole 318 from an opening 318a facing the other side; and a biasing member 324 that biases the suspension member 10 from the one end 318c side toward the abutting end 318b side within the engagement hole 318, with the biasing member 324 having a locking structure 326 formed therein that locks onto the side of the suspension member 10 to prevent the suspension member 10 from disengaging from the engagement hole 318.
The biasing member 324 has a protrusion 326a on the locking structure 326. As shown in Figure 18, the protrusion 326a is formed by bending or other means so that it rises at an angle of approximately 45 to 90 degrees relative to the main body 324a of the biasing member 324. The base 216 side of the protrusion 326a abuts against the hanging member 10, thereby preventing the hanging member 10 from moving in the direction of the opening.
The function of the fixing device will be explained.
When attaching or detaching the fixing device to the suspension member 10, as shown in Figures 16 and 18 (b), the worker grasps the operating portion 332 of the spring member 324 with a tool or the like, bends the convex portion 326a of the spring member 324 to a position beyond one end 318c, and attaches the suspension member 10 to the engagement hole 318.
When attached, as shown in Figures 15 and 18(a), the elastic force of the biasing member 324 presses the suspending member 10 against the abutting end 318d, which then bites into the suspending member 10, ensuring that the fixture is securely fixed.
When an external force such as that of an earthquake is applied, as shown in Figures 17 and 18(c), even if the suspension member 10 (elongated member) in the engagement hole 318 deforms the biasing member 324 and moves toward the one end 318c, the gap δ narrowed by the convex portion 326a of the opening 318a is smaller than the outer diameter D of the elongated member.
When the suspending member 10 is moved by an external force and hits one end 318c, its position is restricted by one end 318c, preventing it from further pushing the biasing member 324 apart. Furthermore, even if it moves toward the opening 318a, it hits the protrusion 326a, preventing it from moving further toward the opening and preventing it from coming loose.
Note that the orientation of the opening 18a in the first embodiment is different from that of the opening 318a in the eighth embodiment. However, by devising the shape of the biasing member in this invention, the base can be installed at any location, on the abutment end side, one end side, or the opposite side of the opening. In this case, the positional relationship between the opening, abutment end, one end, and the direction of the biasing force remains unchanged.
Ninth Embodiment
19 and 20 are explanatory diagrams of a fixing device according to a ninth embodiment.
The fastener according to the ninth embodiment has the same structure as the first embodiment, including the support portion 14, base portion 16, and upper and lower engagement portions 20, and similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
As shown in Figures 19 and 20, the fixing device of the ninth embodiment comprises a support band (support portion) 14 that supports the supported object 12, a plate-shaped base 16 to which the support portion 14 is fixed on one side, an attachment body 22 provided on the other side of the base 16 and having engagement portions 20, 20 whose abutting ends 18b, 18b abut and engage with a hanging member 10 introduced from openings 18a, 18a into engagement holes 18, 18 in the direction along the width of the base 16, and a biasing member 424 that elastically biases the hanging member (elongated member) 10 from one end 18c, 18c side toward the abutting ends 18b, 18b side within the engagement holes 18, 18.
In the ninth embodiment, the biasing member 424 is formed with a locking structure 426 having a protrusion 426a that locks onto the side surface of the suspending member 10 and prevents the suspending member from disengaging from the engagement holes 18, 18.
More specifically, the biasing member 424 is formed by bending a metal plate material with a notch (notch 424d) cut out in the center of its width into a V-shape when viewed from above. A flat portion 424b, fixed to the base 16 by the fixing member 30, and the operating portion 432a are formed continuously via a step 424b1, with the bent portion 424a as the boundary.
On the other hand, in the biasing member 424, a flat main body 424c continues from the bent point 424a on the opposite side of the base 16, and a convex portion 426a of the locking structure 426 is formed midway along the main body 424c, protruding toward the abutment end 18b on the opposite side of the base 16 in a bent state. The convex portion 426a bends from its tip toward the base 16, returns to the main body 424c, and continues to the operating portion 432b. In other words, the convex portion 426a is formed to protrude away from the base 16 relative to the main body 424c and operating portion 432b.
Here, the biasing member 424 has a protrusion 426a as the locking structure 426. The protrusion 426a is formed by bending or the like on the operating portion 432b side of the main body 424c of the biasing member 424 so that it rises at an angle ranging from approximately 45 to 90 degrees relative to the main body 424c.
Due to the angle of the raised portion 426a, when an external force such as an earthquake is applied, the hanging member 10 (long member) strikes the raised portion 426a, causing the locking structure 426 to perform its locking function, effectively preventing the hanging member 10 from coming off the engagement hole 18.
In addition, the bent portion 424a side of the convex portion 426a has a gentler rise angle relative to the main body 424c than the operating portion 432b side, making it easier for the suspending member 10 to climb over the convex portion 426a when inserting it through the opening 18a of the suspending member 10.
As shown in Figure 20, when the suspension member 10 is moved by an external force and hits one end 18c, its position is restricted by one end 18c and it does not push the biasing member 424 further. Furthermore, even if it moves toward the opening 18a, it hits the protrusion 426a, preventing it from moving further toward the opening and preventing it from coming loose.
Tenth Embodiment
21A and 21B are explanatory diagrams of a fixing device according to a tenth embodiment, in which Fig. 21A shows the fixing device during attachment and detachment, and Fig. 21B shows the fixing device when an external force such as an earthquake is applied.
As shown in Figure 21, the fastener according to the tenth embodiment has the same structure as the first embodiment, including the support portion 14, base portion 16, upper and lower engagement portions 20, and biasing member 24, and similar parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
In the tenth embodiment, a support base 500 is provided on the base 16, with one end 500a against which the hanging member (elongated member) abuts when inserted into the engagement hole 8 or when an external force is applied. In the first embodiment, the one end 18c was provided within the engagement hole 18 of the engagement portion 20 (see Figure 5, etc.), but in the tenth embodiment, as shown in Figure 21, the one end 500a is located on the support base 500 fixed to the base 16 between the upper and lower engagement portions 20, 20.
One end 500a is positioned protruding further toward the opposite side of the base 16 than the base end 18c' within the engagement hole 18.
When attaching or detaching the hanging member (elongated member) 10, as shown in Figure 21(a), the biasing member 24 is deformed by pinching and bending the operating portions 32a and 32b, allowing it to be inserted into the engagement hole 18.
If an external force causes the suspending member (elongated member) 10 in the engagement hole 18 of the biasing member 24 to deform and move toward the one end 18c, as shown in Figure 21 (b), the suspending member 10 will come into contact with the one end 500a, restricting its position and preventing it from falling off.
As shown in Figure 21(a), when the biasing member 24 is deformed, such as when attaching or detaching the suspending member 10, the biasing member 24 is designed to be deformed to a rear position farther away from the contact end 18b than the one end 500a, making it easy to attach or detach the suspending member 10.
The functional member at one end 500a can be configured and installed in various ways other than at one end 18c in the first embodiment.
The other configurations, functions and effects are the same as those of the first embodiment.
While the above-described embodiments are preferred embodiments of the present invention, they can be modified within the scope of the present invention. For example, in each embodiment, the support band, mounting body, and biasing member are formed as separate members and fixed using fixing members, but various modifications can be made within the scope of the present invention, such as fixing each part by other methods, such as welding, or forming them as a single unit.
The support band is one example of a support part of the present invention. The engagement part can be a pair of upper and lower parts, or it can be implemented as a single or multiple part.
