This invention relates to a photovoltaic cable theft prevention device that uses a lock protective box.

Theft of solar power generation equipment cables is on the rise, and this is a problem because solar power generation equipment's solar panels are often installed in relatively unpopulated areas, far away from administrators.

In Patent Document 1, a solar panel is connected via a cable to the DC input side of a solar power generation device, and a power grid is connected to the AC output side, and a power conditioner having an inverter that converts DC power input from the DC input side into AC power detects a disconnection. In Patent Document 2, when an abnormality is detected by an optical sensor or a sound sensor, a sound is emitted by a sound generator and a light is emitted by a warning light. However, solar power generation devices are often installed in places where there are relatively few people and far from the administrator, so the effectiveness is limited.
The locking protective box of the present invention covers the solar power cable and prevents it from being attacked with cutting tools or physically destroyed by connecting the connection parts on the protective plate and the main body of the locking protective box with a padlock. Furthermore, the arrangement of the locking protective box and the protective plate creates a structure that is difficult to dig up or cut. Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail using examples with reference to the attached drawings.

Theft of solar power generation cables involves digging up, cutting, and stealing the cables connecting solar panels to grid-connected power receiving equipment. This invention provides protection around the grid-connected power receiving equipment to make it difficult to cut the cables that converge on the grid-connected power receiving equipment. This prevents theft of cables from solar power generation equipment.
An example of the present invention is shown in Figures 1 to 7. The described embodiment is an example of the present invention, and the invention is not limited thereto. Figure 1 shows a front view, a right side view, and a bottom view of a protective plate 1. In Figure 1, a connecting part 2 having a connecting hole 3 is arranged on the protective plate 1. An end 4 is joined to another protective plate by welding or the like. An end 5 indicates the direction of the protective box of the lock.

The connection part 2 of the protective plate 1 is inserted through the insertion port 10 of the protective box body 6 of the lock, and the connection hole 3 of the protective plate 1 and the connection hole 8 of the connection part 7 of the protective box body 6 of the lock are connected with a padlock. This physically covers the cable, making it difficult to dig up or destroy with cutting tools. Furthermore, the entire structure is fixed at the center of the grid-connected power receiving equipment 19, and beams are added to prevent it from coming loose in the vertical direction, strengthening theft prevention functions.

Figure 2 shows a front view, a plan view, and a right side view of the lock protective box body 6. A protective plate 7 having a connection hole 8 is disposed on the lock protective box body 6. The insertion hole 10 is a hole into which the connection part 2 shown in Figure 1 is inserted, and the connection hole 3 provided in this connection part 2 and the connection hole 8 are connected by a padlock (not shown). The lock protective box body 6 is open at the opening surface 9, and the padlock is inserted through the space formed by the bottom part 11 of the padlock insertion space and the ceiling part 13, inclined part 14, and vertical part 15 of the padlock insertion space of the lock protective box lid 12 shown in Figure 3, and connected by the padlock. The lock protective box body 6 is joined to the edges of the protective plate 23 and the protective plate 22 by welding or the like (Figure 5).

The main body 6 of the lock protective box and the protective box lid 12 are joined by welding or the like, and the bottom surface 11 of the padlock insertion space of the main body 6 of the lock protective box and the lower end of the vertical portion 15 of the protective box lid 12 are also joined by welding. This makes it possible to manually insert a padlock into the lock protective box and lock it by passing the padlock's latch through the connection holes 3 and 8. The protective plates are joined to each other by welding or the like, but only two protective plates are joined, and there are two sets of these joined protective plates. These two sets of joined protective plates are connected with a padlock.
The space created by the bottom surface 11 (Fig. 2) of the padlock insertion space of the lock protection box body 6 and the ceiling surface 13, inclined surface 14, and vertical surface 15 (Fig. 3) of the padlock insertion space of the lid 12 is narrow, preventing the latch portion of the padlock from being cut by a cutting tool, etc. The size of the lock protection box body 6, excluding the bottom surface 11 of the padlock insertion space, is approximately 100 mm in length, 100 mm in width, and 50 mm in height.

Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of the main body with the opening surface 16 of the lock's protective box positioned approximately perpendicular to the protective plate 1 (Figure 1). The lock's protective box is joined to the ends of protective plates 23 and 22 by welding or the like.

The cables from the solar panels of the photovoltaic power generation system are collected in a cable junction box or current collection box, and input into a power conditioner where they are converted from DC power to AC power, and then connected to commercial power via a grid-connected power receiving facility 19 (see FIG. 5).

Figure 7 is a schematic diagram of a right side view of a cable theft prevention device for a solar power generation system.

If the lock's protective box is destroyed or the cable is cut, a light will be emitted, an alarm will sound, and a device can be installed to notify the manager of the solar power generation system.

Protection plates 1, 22, 23, and 24, as well as lock protection boxes 25 and 26, are designed to move vertically overall, but vertical movement can be stopped by a separate beam or other means, preventing them from slipping out upwards.

If the distance between the front protective plate 23 and the rear protective plate 22 is too large compared to the front and rear dimensions of the grid-connected power receiving equipment 19, adjust the distance by placing polystyrene foam or similar between the protective plate 21 placed in front of the grid-connected power receiving equipment 19 and the grid-connected power receiving equipment 19.
