Description

The present invention relates to an opening restriction device that limits the opening dimension of a shoji screen in fittings such as casement windows and sliding windows, and to the fittings themselves.

A known fixture is a tilt-down window, which adjusts the angle at which a shoji screen tilts relative to a window frame (see Patent Document 1). The tilt-down window includes a slider connected to the vertical frame of the window frame via an arm and slidably mounted along the vertical stile of the shoji screen; a movable stopper biased by a spring from a non-stop position where the slider does not abut against the slider to a stop position where the slider abuts against the slider; a movable stopper device attached to the vertical stile and having an operating member for moving the movable stopper from the stop position to the non-stop position against the bias; and a fixed stopper attached to the vertical stile at a position where the slider abuts against the slider after passing through the movable stopper. The tilt-down window is configured so that the slider abuts either the movable stopper or the fixed stopper by operating the operating member to position the movable stopper in the stop or non-stop position, and the tilt angle of the shoji screen is greater when the slider abuts against the fixed stopper than when the slider abuts against the movable stopper.
In addition, the movable stopper device has a protrusion that protrudes in the direction of the screen screen, which abuts against the slider that moves from the fixed stopper side to the movable stopper side and operates the operating member. When this operating member is operated, the movable stopper is biased by a spring and automatically returns from the non-stop position to the stop position.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-279993

In the tilt-in window described in Patent Document 1, the slider, which is slidably mounted along the vertical stile, abuts on a protrusion on a movable stopper device attached to the vertical stile, automatically returning the movable stopper from the non-stop position to the stop position. This means that the relative positions of the slider and the protrusion must be properly positioned. Therefore, in order to properly position the slider and the protrusion for each fitting, which has different projected dimensions for the shoji screens, a movable stopper device with a protrusion amount corresponding to the projected dimensions must be set for each fitting, which could result in an increase in the number of parts required.

The object of the present invention is to provide an opening restriction device and fitting that can be used for various fittings with improved versatility and minimize the number of parts required.

[Configuration of this embodiment]
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 to 3, an inward-opening window 1 as a fixture according to an embodiment of the present invention separates an indoor space from an outdoor space, and comprises a window frame 2 (frame body), a shoji screen 3 that opens and closes toward the indoor side relative to the window frame 2, and an opening restriction device 4 that restricts the opening dimension of the shoji screen 3 (the opening width of the inward-opening window 1). The shoji screen 3 is connected to the window frame 2 so that it can open and close between a fully closed position shown in Figure 3(A) and a fully open position shown in Figure 3(C), and the opening restriction device 4 is configured to stop the opening movement of the shoji screen 3 at a half-open position between the fully closed and fully open positions.
In the following description, the left-right direction of the shoji screen 3 is the X-axis direction (reciprocating direction), the up-down direction of the shoji screen 3 is the Y-axis direction, and the projection direction of the shoji screen 3 is the Z-axis direction. The X, Y, and Z-axis directions are perpendicular to each other. In addition, the forward movement direction of the slider 5 (described later) is the +X direction, and the backward movement direction of the slider 5 is the -X direction.

The window frame 2 is composed of an upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, a hanging vertical frame 23 (the vertical frame on the right side in Figure 1), and a door-end vertical frame 24 (the vertical frame on the left side in Figure 1). The interior portions of the upper frame 31, lower frame 32, hanging vertical frame 33, and door-end vertical frame 34 extend outward beyond their exterior portions. As shown in FIG. 2 , the outer peripheral projection surface 311 on the exterior side of the upper frame 31 is formed with a rail 312 that runs along the longitudinal direction of the upper frame 31, and the interior side of the upper frame 31 is formed with an extended sight piece 313 that extends upward from the interior-facing side edge of the outer peripheral projection surface 311 (toward the exterior side of the shoji screen 3 in the projection direction of the upper frame 31). The extended sight piece 313 is formed with an opening 314 through which a movable stopper 72 (see FIG. 4 ) and a catcher member 61 (see FIGS. 5 and 6 ), which will be described later, can enter and exit in the Z-axis direction. The upper frame 21, the lower frame 22, the hanging base vertical frame 23, the door end vertical frame 24, the upper frame 31, the lower frame 32, the hanging base vertical frame 33, and the door end vertical frame 34 may be integrally formed from aluminum extrusions or resin extrusions, or may be formed from an aluminum-resin composite material that combines these.

The opening restriction device 4 includes a slider 5 that fits into a rail 312 and can move back and forth in the X-axis direction along the longitudinal direction of the upper frame 31; a link arm 10 that has one end rotatably connected to the upper frame 21 and the other end connected to the slider 5; and a movable stopper device 7 that is attached to the shoji screen 3 so as to stop the forward movement of the slider 5 in the +X direction when it is in the half-open position. The slider 5 and movable stopper device 7 are arranged in the Z-axis direction with the extended sight piece 313 between them.

The case 71 comprises an outer case 711 and an inner case (not shown), with the outer case 711 screwed to the upper frame 31. The outer case 711 is formed with an opening on the outside of the room, and the inner case is inserted into this opening and fixed to the outer case 711. The case 71 is formed with a long hole 712 through which the operating knob 742 (described below) is inserted, and the case 71 is also provided with a pair of pins 713 aligned along the Y-axis direction.

The movable stopper 72 is journaled to the case 71 so as to be rotatable around an axis C along the Y-axis direction between a stop position P1 and a non-stop position P2. One end of the movable stopper 72 forms an abutment portion 722 having an abutment surface 721 that abuts against the slider body 51 (described below) of the slider 5 as it moves in the +X direction from the fully closed position toward the fully open position. The other end of the movable stopper 72 forms a guided portion 724 formed by a guide pin 723 that protrudes in the Y-axis direction and is guided by the operating member 74. An axial portion 726, on which the axis C is located, is provided at an intermediate portion 725 between the abutment portion 722 and the guided portion 724, closer to the guide pin 723.

One end of the torsion spring 73 is hooked onto the movable stopper 72 at a position closer to the abutment portion 722 than the shaft portion 726, and the other end is hooked onto the case 71 at a position closer to the guided portion 724 than the shaft portion 726, with the torsion portion wound around the shaft portion 726.

The operating member 74 is integrally formed with a sliding body 741 placed inside the case 71, an operating knob 742 protruding from the sliding body 741 to the inside of the room through the long hole 712 in the outer case 711, and a guide surface 743 that guides the guide pin 723.
The slider 741 is formed with a pair of elongated holes 744 along the X-axis direction through which the pair of pins 713 of the case 71 are inserted, and a protrusion 745 that protrudes toward the outside of the room in the Z-axis direction so as to be able to abut against a catcher member 61 (described later) of the slider 5. The slider 741 is disposed within the case 71 so as to be able to slide in the X-axis direction.
The protrusion 745 protrudes a predetermined amount from the slider 741, and when the slider 5 passes a position facing the movable stopper device 7 in the X-axis direction, a tip 748 of the protrusion 745 abuts against the catcher member 61, causing the catcher member 61 to retreat toward the outside of the room. The tip 748 has a tip engagement surface 746 on the forward movement side along the Z-axis direction, and a tip inclined surface 747 on the backward movement side that is inclined with respect to the X-axis direction so that a position on the backward movement side that is farther away from the tip engagement surface 746 than a position on the tip engagement surface 746 side is farther away from the catcher member 61 toward the inside of the room.
The operation knob 742 is disposed so as to be manually operable in the X-axis direction. As shown in Fig. 4 , the operation member 74 is disposed at an operation position OP1 (first operation position) on the forward movement side (+X direction side) by manually operating the operation knob 742 in the +X direction, and at an operation position OP2 (second operation position) on the backward movement side (-X direction side) by manually operating the operation knob 742 in the -X direction.
Guide surface 743 is inclined with respect to the X-axis direction so that the end on the return movement side in the Z-axis direction is positioned closer to slider 5 (a position on the outside of the room) than the end on the forward movement side, and the end on the return movement side of guide surface 743 is a concave holding portion 743A that holds guide pin 723. Guide pin 723 and guide surface 743 form a guide mechanism, and when operating member 74 is moved from operating position OP2 shown in Figure 4A to operating position OP1 shown in Figure 4B, the guide mechanism guides guide pin 723 to move in the -X direction relative to guide surface 743, whereby movable stopper 72 is moved from stop position P1 shown in Figure 4A to non-stop position P2 shown in Figure 4B, and guide pin 723 is held by holding portion 743A. In addition, when the operating member 74 is moved from the operating position OP1 to the operating position OP2, the guide pin 723 comes off the holding portion 743A and guides the guide pin 723 to move in the +X direction relative to the guide surface 743, thereby moving the movable stopper 72 from the non-stop position P2 to the stop position P1.
This operating member 74 is configured to be movable in the X-axis direction between an operating position OP1 on the forward side, which positions the movable stopper 72 at the non-stop position P2, and an operating position OP2 on the return side, which releases the movable stopper 72 from the non-stop position P2.

The slider 5 reciprocates in the X-axis direction in response to the opening and closing movement of the shoji screen 3 relative to the window frame 2, and can move forward in the +X direction toward the fully open position of the shoji screen 3, and can move backward in the -X direction toward the fully closed position of the shoji screen 3. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the slider 5 has a slider main body 51 that abuts against a movable stopper 72 located at stop position P1 during forward movement in the +X direction, a catcher member 61 that moves forward and backward relative to the slider main body 51 in the Z-axis direction, and compression coil springs 75, 76 as biasing members that bias the catcher member 61 forward. The compression coil spring 75 is located on the forward movement side of a recess 63, which will be described later. The compression coil spring 76 is located on the backward movement side of the recess 63, which will be described later.
The slider body 51 is formed in a block shape and integrally includes a guided portion 52 formed at the bottom so as to be guided by the rail 312, a groove portion 53 that opens on the side facing the interior of the room and in which the catcher member 61 is disposed, and a pair of spring bearing portions 54 formed on the bottom surface of the groove portion 53. The opening edge portions of the groove portion 53 of the slider body 51 that face each other in the X-axis direction are formed as engaged portions that protrude toward the inside of the opening in the X-axis direction so that a pair of end claw portions 66 (described later) of the catcher member 61 can engage in the Z-axis direction. The pair of spring bearing portions 54 support the exterior portions of the compression coil springs 75, 76 in the Z-axis direction.

The catcher member 61 integrally comprises a main body 62 formed symmetrically with respect to a virtual straight line A along the Z-axis direction, a recess 63 formed in the central portion of the main body 62 in the X-axis direction, an inclined surface 64 (first inclined surface) and an inclined surface 65 (second inclined surface) formed extending from the opening edge portions on both sides of the recess 63 in the X-axis direction, a pair of end claw portions 66 formed on both ends of the main body 62 in the X-axis direction, and a spring support portion 67 that supports compression coil springs 75, 76.
The recess 63 is recessed toward the exterior side (the retreating side of the catcher member 61) and includes a pair of side surfaces 631, 632 facing each other in the X-axis direction, a bottom surface 633 continuous with the exterior-side edges of the side surfaces 631, 632, and a lower surface 634 continuous with the lower edges of the side surfaces 631, 632 and the bottom surface 633. The side surfaces 631, 632 extend along the Y- and Z-axes, the bottom surface 633 extends along the X- and Y-axes, and the lower surface 634 extends along the X- and Z-axes. The side surface 631 engages with the tip engagement surface 746 of the protrusion 745 during the return movement of the slider 5 in the -X direction and is disengaged by the retreat of the catcher member 61. The side surface 632 is positioned so that its interior edge or its peripheral portion slides against the tip inclined surface 747 of the protrusion 745 during the forward movement of the slider 5 in the +X direction.
Inclined surface 64 is continuous with the indoor-side edge of side surface 631 on the forward movement side, and is inclined with respect to the X-axis direction so as to move toward the outdoor side (slider body 51 side) as it moves away from recess 63 in the +X direction. Inclined surface 65 is continuous with the indoor-side edge of side surface 632 on the backward movement side, and is inclined with respect to the X-axis direction so as to move toward the outdoor side (slider body 51 side) as it moves away from recess 63 in the -X direction.
The pair of end claws 66 are formed to protrude in the X-axis direction so as to be able to engage with the aforementioned engaged portions of the slider body 51 in the Z-axis direction so that the catcher member 61 does not fall out of the groove portions 53 of the slider body 51 when the catcher member 61 is in the forward position. Note that when the catcher member 61 is retracted, the pair of end claws 66 move away from the aforementioned engaged portions of the slider body 51 toward the outside of the room.
The pair of spring receiving portions 67 are formed to protrude from the rear side of the inclined surfaces 64, 65 of the main body 62 toward the outside of the room, and are positioned at a distance from the recess 63 in the X-axis direction.
The pair of spring bearing portions 67 face the pair of spring bearing portions 54 in the Z-axis direction. Therefore, the compression coil spring 75 received by the spring bearing portions 54, 67 is disposed on the forward movement side of the recess 63, and the compression coil spring 76 received by the spring bearing portions 54, 67 is disposed on the backward movement side of the recess 63. The compression coil springs 75, 76 and the spring bearing portions 54, 67 described above constitute a catcher biasing portion.
This catcher member 61 is configured to move the operating member 74 from operating position OP1 to operating position OP2 while abutting against the protrusion 745 when the slider 5 moves back in the -X direction, and to retreat toward the outside of the room against the forward force toward the inside of the room by the compression coil springs 75, 76.

The opening and closing operation of the inward-opening window 1 during normal use will be described below.
The opening operation of the inward-opening window 1 from the fully closed position to the half-open position is as follows. The shoji screen 3, which is positioned in the fully closed position shown in Figure 3(A), is moved open toward the room relative to the window frame 2, and the slider 5 moves forward in the +X direction. When the shoji screen 3 is moved open to the half-open position shown in Figure 3(B), the slider 5 moves forward in the +X direction as shown in Figures 7(A) and 7(B), and the forward-movement side surface 511 of the slider body 51 abuts against the abutment portion 722 of the movable stopper 72, which is positioned at stop position P1, and the forward movement of the slider 5 in the +X direction is stopped by the movable stopper 72. This allows the shoji screen 3 to be moved from the fully closed state to the half-open state.
The closing operation of the inward-opening window 1 from the half-open position to the fully closed position involves moving the shoji screen 3, which is positioned in the half-open position, toward the outside of the room, and then moving the slider 5 back in the -X direction to position the shoji screen 3 in the fully closed position. At the fully closed position, the shoji screen 3 can be placed in a fully closed state within the window frame 2.
In this way, the inward-opening window 1 opens and closes between the fully closed position and the half-open position during normal use. Furthermore, during normal use of the inward-opening window 1, the operating member 74 remains in the operating position OP2.

The opening and closing operation of the inward-opening window 1 when cleaning will be described below.
The operation of the inward-opening window 1 from the fully closed position to the half-open position is the same as that described above, so a description thereof will be omitted. Next, the operating member 74 is manually operated to move from operating position OP2 to operating position OP1, and the operation of the cam mechanism described above causes the movable stopper 72 to rotate (move) from stop position P1 to non-stop position P2 against the bias of the torsion spring 73, and the movable stopper 72 is maintained in the non-stop position P2 as shown in Figure 7C.
Next, as shown in Figure 3C, the shoji screen 3 is moved to the fully open position, which is located on the +X side of the half-open position. At this time, the catcher member 61, which moves forward in the +X direction, is pressed against the extended sight piece 313 of the upper frame 31 and is in the retracted position as shown in Figure 8A, but it temporarily protrudes from the retracted position to the advanced position at a position facing the opening 314 of the extended sight piece 313. The protruding catcher member 61 abuts against the protrusion 745, but since the operating member 74, which is located at the operating position OP1, is restricted from further forward movement by the case 71 and does not move, the catcher member 61 moves forward in the +X direction while being pressed against the protrusion 745 and retracts toward the outside of the room in the Z-axis direction against the bias of the compression coil springs 75, 76. Here, the forward-moving catcher member 61 tilts while its inclined surface 64 smoothly contacts the tip inclined surface 747 of the protrusion 745, compressing the compression coil spring 75 more than the compression coil spring 76, and retreats in the Z-axis direction. This tilting also tilts the side surface 631 in the Z-axis direction, so that the recess 63 is oriented to welcome the protrusion 745. As shown in Figure 8 (B) , when the recess 63 reaches the protrusion 745, the compression coil springs 75, 76 recover to a certain extent, and the indoor-side edge or its peripheral portion of the side surface 632 of the recess 63 abuts against the tip inclined surface 747. Further forward movement of the slider 5 causes the indoor-side edge or its peripheral portion of the side surface 632 to smoothly slide against the tip inclined surface 747. Next, as the slider 5 moves forward, the interior edge or its surrounding portion of the side surface 632 is pressed against the inclined tip surface 747, and the catcher member 61 tilts and retreats in the Z-axis direction, compressing the compression coil spring 76 more than the compression coil spring 75. This tilting also tilts the side surface 632 relative to the Z-axis, orienting it to push the protrusion 745 out of the recess 63. After the forward movement of the slider 5 pushes the protrusion 745 out of the recess 63 in the -X direction, the inclined surface 65 of the catcher member 61 slides against the tip 748 of the protrusion 745, and the slider 5 moves further forward, causing the compression coil springs 75 and 76 to return to their original position, placing the catcher member 61 in the advanced position. In this way, the slider 5 passes the protrusion 745. After passing through, the catcher member 61 is again pushed by the extended finger piece as the slider 5 moves forward, retreating to the retreated position. Further forward movement of the slider 5 in the +X direction moves the shoji screen 3 from the half-open position to the fully open position, and the shoji screen 3 can be fully opened.
The closing operation of the inward-opening window 1 from the fully open position to the fully closed position is as follows.
The shoji screen 3, which is positioned in the fully open position, is moved toward the outside of the room relative to the window frame 2, and the slider 5 moves back in the -X direction. As the returning slider 5 passes a position facing the movable stopper device 7, the catcher member 61 moves forward from the retracted position to the advanced position in the opening 314, and the inclined surface 65 smoothly slides against the tip 748 of the protrusion 745. At this time, the catcher member 61 tilts while compressing the compression coil spring 76 more than the compression coil spring 75, and the recess 63 is oriented to receive the protrusion 745. When the recess 63 reaches the protrusion 745, the compression coil springs 75 and 76 return to their original positions, and the tip 748 of the protrusion 745 is positioned within the recess 63, as shown in Figure 9A, and the side surface 631 of the recess 63 abuts and engages with the tip engagement surface 746 of the protrusion 745. As the slider 5 moves further back, the protrusion 745 moves in the -X direction, and the operating member 74 moves from operating position OP1 to operating position OP2, as shown in Figure 9B. When the operating member 74 is positioned at operating position OP2, the movable stopper 72 is released from its non-stop position P2 and, biased by the torsion spring 73, attempts to move to stop position P1, pressing against the catcher member 61. At this time, the operating member 74 positioned at operating position OP2 is restricted from further backward movement by the case 71, so as the catcher member 61 moves back in the -X direction, it is pressed by the protrusion 745 and retreats toward the outside of the room in the Z-axis against the compression coil springs 75 and 76. Furthermore, when the returning slider 5 is positioned further toward the -X direction than the movable stopper 72, the movable stopper 72 rotates to stop position P1 while biased by the torsion spring 73, and is again positioned at stop position P1. As the catcher member 61 moves backward, the inclined surface 65 slides against the protrusion 745, as described above. The protrusion 745 is positioned in the recess 63, and the side surface 631 of the recess 63 abuts against the tip engagement surface 746 of the protrusion 745, resulting in an engagement state in the X-axis direction. The catcher member 61 then moves backward in the Z-axis direction while tilting, compressing the compression coil spring 75 more than the compression coil spring 76, in response to the slider 5's backward movement. This tilting also tilts the side surface 631 relative to the Z-axis, resulting in an orientation that sends the protrusion 745 out of the recess 63. After the slider 5 moves backward to send the protrusion 745 out of the recess 63 in the +X direction, the inclined surface 64 slides against the protrusion 745 in response to the slider 5's backward movement, and the inclined surface 65 moves backward from the opening 314, abutting against the extended guide piece 313 and being pushed toward the outside of the room. This causes the catcher member 61 to move backward. Then, by further returning movement of the slider 5 in the -X direction, the shoji screen 3 moves to the fully closed position, and can be fully closed.
In this way, the inward-opening window 1 opens and closes between the fully closed and fully open positions during cleaning, with the screen 3 placed in the fully open position for cleaning and then placed in the fully closed position after cleaning. Also, when the screen 3 is moved back from the fully open position to the fully closed position and the slider 5 passes through the movable stopper device 7, the operating member 74 is moved from the operating position OP1 to the operating position OP2, and the movable stopper 72 automatically returns from the non-stop position P2 to the stop position P1.

[Summary of the invention]
The opening restriction device of the present invention is an opening restriction device used for a shoji screen that opens and closes toward the inside or outside of the room relative to a frame body, and includes: a slider that is provided on the shoji screen so that it can move forward toward a fully open position of the shoji screen and return toward a fully closed position of the shoji screen in a reciprocating direction in response to the opening and closing movement of the shoji screen; a link arm that has one end rotatably connected to the frame body and the other end connected to the slider; and a movable stopper device that is attached to the shoji screen so that it can stop the forward movement of the slider at a half-open position between the fully open position and the fully closed position. The movable stopper device has a movable stopper that moves between a stop position and a non-stop position relative to the slider that moves forward; an urging part that urges the movable stopper to move to the stop position; and an operating member that operates to move the movable stopper from the stop position to the non-stop position against the urging of the urging part, is configured to be movable in the reciprocating direction between a first operating position on the forward movement side that places the movable stopper in the non-stop position and a second operating position on the return movement side that releases the movable stopper from being placed in the non-stop position, and the slider has a slider body that abuts against the movable stopper in the stop position during the forward movement of the slider, a catcher member that advances and retreats relative to the slider body in a projection direction perpendicular to the reciprocating direction, and a catcher biasing portion that biases the catcher member forward, and the operating member is formed with a protrusion that protrudes so as to be able to abut against the catcher member in the projection direction, and the catcher member is configured to move the operating member from the first operating position to the second operating position while abutting against the protrusion during the return movement of the slider, and retreat against the forward bias of the catcher biasing portion.
The opening restriction device of the present invention can perform the following opening and closing operations. First, as the shoji screen moves from the fully closed position to the fully open position, the slider body moves forward and abuts against the movable stopper in the stop position, stopping the forward movement of the slider at the half-open position of the shoji screen. This allows the shoji screen to be changed from the fully closed state to the half-open state. At this time, the operating member is in the second operating position. Next, the operating member is manually operated from the second operating position to the first operating position to place the movable stopper in the non-stop position, and the slider is further moved forward to move the shoji screen from the half-open position to the fully open position, thereby allowing the shoji screen to be fully opened. At this time, the forward-moving catcher member abuts against the protrusion, but since the operating member in the first operating position does not move further forward, the catcher member is pressed against the protrusion and retracts against the catcher biasing member. This prevents elastic deformation of the protrusion.
Furthermore, when the shoji screen moves from the fully open position to the fully closed position, the returning catcher member abuts against the protrusion, moving the operating member from the first operating position to the second operating position, releasing the movable stopper from its non-stop position and making it possible to move the movable stopper to the stop position. At this time, the operating member positioned in the second operating position does not move further in the returning direction, so the catcher member is pressed against the protrusion and moves backward against the catcher biasing member. At this time, as before, elastic deformation of the protrusion can be prevented. Subsequently, the slider is further returned to the fully closed position, bringing the shoji screen into a fully closed state.
With this configuration, the catcher member, which can move back and forth relative to the slider body, is biased forward by the catcher biasing portion, so the range of settings for the relative positional relationship between the slider and the movable stopper device in the projection direction can be increased within the range in which the catcher member abuts and engages with the protrusion of the movable stopper device. This improves versatility for various fixtures and reduces the number of parts required.

In the opening restriction device of the present invention, the catcher member has a recess formed on its retracting side, the recess having a pair of side surfaces facing each other in the reciprocating direction, and one of the pair of side surfaces may be configured to engage with the protrusion when the slider returns and to be disengaged by the retraction of the catcher member.
With this configuration, the amount of recoil that occurs in the catcher member can be reduced compared to, for example, when a convex portion rather than a concave portion is formed on the catcher member, allowing the shoji screen to move back and forth smoothly and making the slider smaller.

In the opening restriction device of the present invention, the catcher member has at least one of a first inclined surface on the forward movement side that is continuous with the recess and a second inclined surface on the return movement side that is continuous with the recess, and the at least one inclined surface may be inclined with respect to the reciprocating direction so as to move toward the slider body side as it moves away from the recess side.
With this configuration, when the slider has a first inclined surface, even if the first inclined surface abuts against the protrusion during the forward movement of the slider, the protrusion slides along the first inclined surface as the catcher member retracts, thereby minimizing the resistance to the forward movement of the slider, and when the slider has a second inclined surface, even if the second inclined surface abuts against the protrusion during the backward movement of the slider, the catcher member slides along the first inclined surface as the catcher member retracts, thereby minimizing the resistance to the backward movement of the slider. As a result, the catcher member can be smoothly retracted.

In the opening limiting device of the present invention, the catcher biasing portion may have biasing members that are respectively arranged at a position on the forward movement side and a position on the backward movement side with respect to the recess.
With this configuration, when the protrusion slides on the first inclined surface or the second inclined surface, tilting of the catcher member may occur, but compared to the case where, for example, a single biasing member is provided, the catcher member can be stably biased as desired by the biasing members provided at the forward and backward movement positions relative to the recess. Also, tilting of the catcher member may occur when the protrusion provided in the recess tries to come out of the recess due to reciprocating movement, but the catcher member can be stably biased in the same manner as described above.

In the opening restriction device of the present invention, the protrusion portion may be formed with a tip portion having a tip engagement surface on the forward movement side that is aligned with the projection direction, and a tip inclined surface on the return movement side that is inclined with respect to the reciprocating direction so that a position on the side away from the tip engagement surface than the position on the tip engagement surface side is away from the catcher member.
With this configuration, when the slider moves forward, the edge or surrounding portion of the other of the pair of side surfaces of the recess slides along the tip inclined surface described above, allowing the slider to move forward smoothly.
On the other hand, when the slider moves back, one side of the recess abuts against the tip engagement surface mentioned above, so a greater moving force is applied to the protrusion than when the edge or its surrounding portion of the other side slides along the tip inclined surface, thereby allowing the operating member to be moved stably from the first operating position to the second operating position by the slider moving back.

The fitting of the present invention is characterized by comprising a frame body, a shoji screen that opens and closes relative to the frame body toward the inside or outside of the room, and the opening restriction device of the present invention described above.
With this configuration, a fixture can be constructed that can achieve the same effects as the opening restriction device described above.

In the building fixture of the present invention, the shoji screen is composed of an upper frame, a lower frame, left and right vertical frames, and a face material, and the slider is provided so that it can move back and forth on any one of the upper frame, the lower frame, and the left and right vertical frames, and the movable stopper device is attached, and the frame material has an extended sight piece portion that extends toward the outer periphery of the shoji screen in its sight direction, and the slider and the movable stopper device are arranged with the extended sight piece portion between them in the sight direction, and an opening may be formed in the extended sight piece portion so that the movable stopper and the catcher member can appear and disappear in the sight direction.
According to this configuration, the movable stopper and catcher member appear and disappear through an opening formed in the extended sight piece of the frame, making it possible to make the protrusion of the operating member and the movable stopper in the non-stop position less noticeable. Furthermore, since the catcher member only needs to protrude toward the protrusion through the opening in the extended sight piece and abut against the protrusion, the slider can be positioned closer to the extended sight piece than when using a slider that does not have a retractable catcher member, and therefore the slider and movable stopper device can be positioned closer to each other in the projection direction. Furthermore, by positioning the slider and movable stopper device closer to each other, the protrusion dimension of the movable stopper device that abuts against the catcher member can be reduced accordingly.
