Description

The present invention relates to a cultivation container stand for placing cultivation containers for growing plants, which has an open top and drainage holes in the bottom. More specifically, the cultivation container stand maintains good drainage and breathability for the cultivation container placed on it, and allows plants, such as climbing plants, to grow well and look attractive in the cultivation container.

Generally, when a flowerpot is placed on a surface, its bottom rises above the surface, allowing drainage and ventilation of the cultivation soil inside the flowerpot through drainage and ventilation openings provided in the bottom (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

However, if the drainage and ventilation of the underside of the flowerpot is poor, it can lead to plant diseases such as root rot. Furthermore, if moisture accumulates at the bottom of the flowerpot, it can easily attract slugs, causing problems such as the slugs eating away at the leaves of cultivated plants and causing them to wither.

Furthermore, when the plant being grown in a flowerpot is a climbing plant or a fruit-bearing plant, the lower end of the support is thrust into the cultivation soil in the flowerpot to provide stable support for the vines or stems (e.g., Patent Documents 2 and 3), or the lower end of the support is held in place by a support lower end holder attached to the side wall of the flowerpot (e.g., Patent Documents 4 and 5).

However, when the lower end of the support rod is thrust into the cultivation soil inside the flowerpot, there is a risk that the thrust lower end will hinder the growth of the plant's roots, and the risk increases the more supports that are thrust. Furthermore, even when the lower end is thrust into the cultivation soil, or when the lower end of the support rod is held to the side wall of the flowerpot via a holder, there is a risk that the flowerpot will tip over when the plant is blown by the wind and wind pressure acts on the support rod.

The support portion on which the cultivation container is placed has a cultivation container support plate portion provided with drainage and breathable holes, and legs whose lower ends rest on the installation surface protrude at required intervals to install the cultivation container support plate portion on an installation surface. When the cultivation container support plate portion is installed on the installation surface, ventilation openings are provided between the legs that communicate with the ventilation space formed below the cultivation container support plate portion with the holes. Furthermore, certain of the legs have a bottomed support holding hole that opens on the top surface of the cultivation container support plate portion and allows the lower part of a support to be removably inserted and held in place.

A third aspect of the cultivation container support stand according to the present invention is the first aspect, characterized in that the support holding hole has a tapered shape that widens in diameter from its lower end toward its upper end, and when the lower part of the support is inserted and held in the support holding hole, a restricting gap is formed between the upper edge of the support holding hole and the outer peripheral surface of the support, which restricts the tilt of the support with the lower part inserted and held in the support holding hole by the outer peripheral surface abutting against the upper edge.

A fourth aspect of the cultivation container support stand according to the present invention is the second aspect, characterized in that the support holding hole has a tapered shape that widens in diameter from its lower end toward its upper end, and when the lower part of the support is inserted and held in the support holding hole, a restricting gap is formed between the upper edge of the support holding hole and the outer peripheral surface of the support, which restricts the tilt of the support with the lower part inserted and held in the support holding hole by the outer peripheral surface abutting against the upper edge.

A fifth aspect of the cultivation container placing stand according to the present invention is the first, second, third, or fourth aspect, wherein the cultivation container placing plate is configured as a rectangular plate having a rectangular shape in a plan view, the legs protrude from the four corners of the rectangular plate, and the outward-facing outer surface of the horizontal connecting piece connecting the lower end portions of the left and right legs is formed as an inclined surface that slopes upward from its lower edge to its upper edge, with the lower edge of the horizontal connecting piece being raised above the lower ends of the legs. The inclined surface is also characterized in that it can guide the wind blowing into the ventilation space through the ventilation opening formed between the left and right legs toward the underside of the cultivation container placing plate.

A sixth aspect of the cultivation container stand according to the present invention is the first, second, third, or fourth aspect, characterized in that the cultivation container stands are installed on the installation surface while being connected to each other via connecting means.

A seventh aspect of the cultivation container support stand of the present invention is the first, second, third, or fourth aspect, characterized in that a connecting engagement protrusion protrudes outward from the lower edge portion of one of the horizontal connecting pieces adjacent to each other at a right angle, and a connecting engagement recess is provided on the underside of the lower edge portion of the other horizontal connecting piece, into which the connecting engagement protrusion can be detachably fitted in the vertical direction.

This invention provides a cultivation container support stand that can maintain good drainage and breathability for the cultivation container, allowing plants grown in the cultivation container to grow well while preventing root rot and damage from slugs.

Furthermore, by erecting the support posts at required locations on the cultivation container mounting plate of the cultivation container mounting stand, the plants grown in the cultivation containers placed on the cultivation container mounting stand can be stably supported with their stems and vines spreading out outside the cultivation container, making it possible to grow cultivated plants with a more attractive appearance.

Furthermore, if the plant being cultivated is one that bears fruit, the stems and vines can be stably supported by the stakes, allowing the plant to grow well.

In particular, when the support post holding holes are provided in the legs whose lower ends rest on the installation surface, the weight of the cultivated plant fruit supported by the support post can be directly transmitted to the installation surface via the legs, which has the advantage of not placing an excessive load on the cultivation container mounting plate.

In addition, the posts that support the plants grown in the cultivation containers are installed upright by inserting their lower portions into the post-holding holes provided in the cultivation container mounting plate, rather than by piercing the lower end into the cultivation soil inside the cultivation container. Therefore, there is no risk that the pierced lower end will hinder the growth of the plant's roots.

Furthermore, the lower end of the support pole is not held to the side wall of the cultivation container via a retaining device, so even if wind pressure acts on the support pole supporting the vines and stems of plants being grown in the cultivation container, there is no risk of the cultivation container tipping over.

Furthermore, if the support post holding hole has a tapered shape that widens in diameter from its lower end to its upper end, and the regulating gap is provided between the upper edge of the support post holding hole and the outer peripheral surface of the support post, when the lower part of the support post is inserted and held in the support post holding hole, the regulating action of the regulating gap will allow the outer peripheral surface to abut against the upper edge, thereby regulating any abnormal tilt of the support post when it is in an upright position with the lower part inserted and held in the support post holding hole.

Furthermore, if the cultivation container mounting stands can be connected to each other via the connecting means, the area of the upper surface of the cultivation container mounting plate can be increased. This allows larger cultivation containers to be placed on the enlarged upper surface, or multiple cultivation containers to be placed on the enlarged upper surface.

In Figures 1 to 6, the cultivation container support stand 1 of the present invention is a cultivation container support stand for placing cultivation containers for growing plants, which has an open top and a drainage hole in the bottom. The support portion 3 on which the cultivation container 2, for example a flowerpot, is placed is provided with a cultivation container support plate 6 having drainage and breathable holes 5, and legs 9 protruding at a required interval are provided on the cultivation container support plate 6, whose lower ends 8 rest on the installation surface 7 for installing the cultivation container support plate 6 on the installation surface 7. When the cultivation container support plate 6 is installed on the installation surface 7 as shown in Figures 1 and 4, a ventilation opening 10 is provided between the legs 9, 9, which communicates with the ventilation space 4 formed below the cultivation container support plate 6 having the holes 5. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, a support post holding hole 15 with an open upper end 13 is provided at a required location on the cultivation container placing plate 6. The support post 11 supports plants to be cultivated in the cultivation container 2 (Figure 4) placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6. The support post holding hole 15 has an open upper end 13 and is used to detachably insert and hold the lower part 12 of the support post 11. The support post 12 supports plants to be cultivated in the cultivation container 2 (Figure 4) placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 7, the cultivation container placing tables 1, 1 can be connected to each other via connecting means 14 as needed. This will be explained in detail below.

In this embodiment, the cultivation container placing stand 1 has a truncated pyramidal shape that widens downward, and is integrally molded from plastic. In this embodiment, the cultivation container placing plate 6 is configured as a square plate in a plan view, with the length of one side set to, for example, 200 mm for small sizes and 280 mm for large sizes, and its thickness set to 5 mm. The cultivation containers 2 are placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6 with the cultivation container placing stand 1 installed on the installation surface 7.

The legs 9 protrude from the four corners 16 (Fig. 2) and the central region 17 (Figs. 2-3) of the cultivation container mounting plate 6. As shown in Figs. 2, 5-6, the legs 9 protrude from the four corners. Each leg 9 has a cylindrical leg body 19 with a vertical axis, and a circular protrusion 20 with a relatively small diameter and a small protrusion amount protruding concentrically from the lower end of the leg body. The lower surface 21 of the circular protrusion 20 (forming the lower end 8) rests on the installation surface 7. On the other hand, the leg 9 protruding from the central region 17 is configured as a cross-shaped leg 22 with a cross-shaped cross section, as shown in Figs. 2-3, for example. The size of the cross increases from the lower end 23 to the upper end 25, and the lower end 23 (forming the lower end 8) is placed on the installation surface 7.

In this embodiment, the lower end 8 of the cross-shaped leg 22 is slightly raised above the installation surface 7 (Figure 4). In this state, when a cultivation container 2 is placed on the cultivation container placement plate 6 as shown by the dashed line in Figure 4, the weight of the cultivation container 2 causes the cultivation container placement plate 6 to bend downward, so that the lower end 8 of the cross-shaped leg 22 is placed on the installation surface 7.

In this embodiment, the outer diameter of the cylindrical leg body 19 is set to 20 mm, and its vertical length is set to 52 mm. The outer diameter of the circular protrusion 20 is set to 14 mm, and its protruding length is set to 1.3 mm. Furthermore, the lower end width of the cross-shaped pieces 26, 26 of the cross-shaped leg 22 is set to 15 mm.

As described above, the cultivation container mounting plate 6 has the hole 5 in the mounting portion 3 (FIGS. 1 and 4) on which the cultivation container 2 is mounted. In this embodiment, the hole 5 is configured as elongated linear holes 27 as shown in FIG. 1, and the linear holes 27 are grouped together in the mounting portion 3. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, a large number of the elongated linear holes 27 are arranged in parallel via narrow pieces 31 in each of the four partitions 30 divided by orthogonal diagonal pieces 29, 29. For example, when looking at the left and right partitions indicated by reference numerals 30a and 30b in Figure 3, the extension lines of the elongated linear holes 27a and 27b are perpendicular to each other. The cross-shaped pieces 26, 26 of the cross-shaped leg 22 protrude downward from the undersides of the cross-shaped diagonal pieces 29, 29. In this embodiment, the width of the narrow piece 31 is set to 4.5 mm, and the width of the elongated linear hole 27 in a plan view is set to 5 mm.

As described above, bottomed support post holding holes 15 with open upper ends 13 are provided at required locations on the cultivation container placing plate 6 for removably inserting and holding the lower portions of the supports 11 that support plants to be grown in the cultivation containers 2 (Figure 4) placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6. In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, the support post holding holes 15 are provided on the upper surface 32 of the cultivation container placing plate 6 for required leg portions of the legs 9, i.e., for each of the legs 9a, 9a, 9a, 9a located at the four corners of the cultivation container placing plate 6.

In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 5, the support holding hole 15 is configured with a tapered shape that widens in diameter from the lower end 33 of the cylindrical leg body 19 toward its upper end 34. As described above, the upper end 34 of the support holding hole 15 opens at the upper surface 32 of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6, and the lower end 15a of the support holding hole 15 is provided with a drainage hole 15b that opens at the center of the circular protrusion 20. In this embodiment, the depth of the support holding hole 15 is 50 mm, and the upper end diameter is 15 mm and the lower end diameter is 14 mm.

As shown in Figure 5(B), the inner peripheral surface 15a of the support post holding hole 15 preferably has locking ridges 34a extending up and down in the circumferential direction at angular intervals of, for example, 90 degrees. As the lower portion 12 of the support post 11 is inserted into the support post holding hole 15, the locking ridges 34a are pressed against the outer peripheral surface 12a of the lower portion 12, thereby more reliably preventing the lower portion 12 from coming loose.

As shown in Figure 6, when the lower portion 12 of the support 11 is inserted and held in the support holding hole 15, a restricting gap G is formed between the upper edge 36 of the support holding hole 15 and the outer peripheral surface 37 of the support 11. The restricting gap G restricts the tilt of the support 11 when inserted and held in the support holding hole 15 by the outer peripheral surface 37 abutting against the upper edge 36, thereby preventing the support 11 from bending excessively.

In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, thin, elongated rectangular horizontal connecting pieces 47 parallel to the four sides 46 of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6 are disposed below each of the four sides 46, 46, 46, 46, and have ends 49, 49 connected to the lower portions 50 of the adjacent cylindrical leg bodies 19, 19 to reinforce the cultivation container mounting table 6. The outer surfaces (outward-facing outer surfaces) 51 of each of the four horizontal connecting pieces 47, 47, 47, 47 are inclined upwards by positioning the lower edges 52 outward of the upper edges 53, as shown in Figure 8(A), and are connected to the lower outer peripheral surfaces 49 of the cylindrical leg bodies 19 in this inclined state. As a result, the four horizontal connecting pieces 47, 47, 47, 47 form a frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57, and because the outer surface 51 of the frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57 is inclined, it appears thick when viewed from the side.

In this embodiment, to firmly connect the frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57 to the cylindrical leg main body 19, as shown in FIG. 1, the four upper (front) corner edges 60 of the frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57 are connected to the outer peripheral surface 55 of the upper end portion of the cylindrical leg main body 19 by large outward-protruding triangular reinforcing pieces 66 whose outer edges 62 slope diagonally outward from the upper end 63 to the lower end 65. Furthermore, the four lower (back) corner edges 67 of the frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57 are connected to the outer peripheral surface 69 of the lower end portion of the cylindrical leg main body 19 by small triangular reinforcing pieces 70, as shown in FIG. 2.

In this embodiment, as described above, the legs 9 protruding from the four corners rest on the installation surface 7 with the lower surfaces 21 (lower ends 8) of the circular protrusions 20, thereby installing the cultivation container mounting table 1 on the installation surface 7 (Figure 4). In this installed state, the lower edge 71 of the inclined frame 57 is slightly raised from the installation surface 7. This lifting creates a drainage gap 72 between the lower edge 71 and the installation surface 7. Furthermore, because the lower edge 71 is raised from the installation surface 7 in this way, even if there is a slight protrusion on the installation surface 7, this lifting can absorb the protrusion, ensuring stable installation of the cultivation container mounting table 1.

Furthermore, each of the four side portions 46 of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6 and the horizontal connecting pieces 47 that vertically face the side portions 46 are connected to one of the legs 9a by two thin vertical connecting pieces 73 (Figure 1) that are inclined in the extension direction of the narrow piece portion 31, thereby reinforcing the cultivation container mounting table 1. The upper ends 76, 76 of the two vertical connecting pieces 73 are connected to the underside 77 of the narrow piece portion 31, and their lower ends 79 are connected to the outer surface 51 of the horizontal connecting piece 47, and as shown in Figure 1, are inclined in the extension direction of the narrow piece portion 31.

As described above, in the cultivation container placing stand 1 according to this embodiment, the horizontal connecting pieces 47 and the vertical connecting pieces 73 of the frame-shaped inclined frame portion 57 are inclined as described above, so that the horizontal connecting pieces 47 and the vertical connecting pieces 73 appear thick when viewed from the side, even though they are thin plates. This gives the impression of stability when the cultivation container placing stand 1 is installed.

In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 9, the circular protrusion 20 can be fitted into the upper end portion 80 of the support post holding hole 15, and the cultivation container stands 1 can be stacked in this fitted state when cleaning up, etc.

Figure 4 shows an example of how the cultivation container mounting stand 1 having this configuration is used. The cultivation container mounting stand 1 is attached to the installation surface 7 by the legs 9, and a cultivation container 2 is placed on the center portion (the aforementioned mounting portion 3) of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6 of the cultivation container mounting stand 1. Plants are then cultivated in the cultivation container 2.

As described above, the cultivation container mounting plate 6 is provided with a collection of linear holes 27, and the cultivation container mounting plate 6 is raised above the installation surface 7. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1, ventilation openings 81 that serve as the ventilation openings 10 are provided between the legs 9, 9, between the leg 9 and the vertical connecting piece 73, and between adjacent vertical connecting pieces 73, 73.

The cultivation container mounting stand 1 configured as described above has the hole 5 provided below the bottom of the cultivation container 2 placed on the cultivation container mounting plate 6, and also has the ventilation opening 10 that communicates with the ventilation space 4 formed on the underside of the cultivation container mounting plate 6. This allows excess water inside the cultivation container to be drained through the hole 5, and also allows ventilation inside the cultivation container through the hole 5. This ensures good drainage and ventilation of the cultivation container 2, prevents root rot and the attraction of slugs, and allows for good plant cultivation in the cultivation container 2.

In this embodiment, the outer surface 51 of the horizontal connecting piece 47 is formed as an inclined surface 82 that slopes upward. As a result, the wind blowing into the ventilation opening 10 is guided diagonally upward by the inclined surface 82 and flows into the ventilation space 4, as shown by the arrows in Figures 8(A) and (B). Therefore, as shown in Figure 8(B), the wind blowing in is more likely to hit the lower end 5a of the hole 5, improving the ventilation of the cultivation container 2.

When using the cultivation container mounting base 1 according to this embodiment, when cultivating plants as described above, the required support holding holes 15 provided at the four corners of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6 can be selected depending on the plant being cultivated, and the lower part 12 of the support 11 can be inserted and held in the support holding hole 15 to place the support 11 in an upright position.

Figure 10 shows an example in which the lower part 12 of the support 11 is inserted and held in the support holding hole 15, placing the support in an upright position. Supports 11 are erected in the support holding holes 15, 15, 15, 15, provided at the four corners of the cultivation container mounting plate 6. The four supports 11 are curved inward toward the center of the cultivation container mounting table 1 in a plan view, and their upper end portions 39 are bound with binding material 40 to form a vertically long, obelisk-like plant cultivation shelf 41. The height of the plant cultivation shelf 41 from the upper surface 32 of the cultivation container mounting plate 6 is, for example, approximately 115 cm.

As shown in Figure 6(A), the support 11 is made of a relatively thin, elastic pipe, with its lower end formed as a bulging shaft 42, which constitutes the lower portion 12. Figure 7 shows the state in which the lower portion 12 (bulging shaft 42) is inserted and held in the support holding hole 15. When the axis L1 of the bulging shaft 42 is vertical, the regulating gap G is formed between the upper edge 36 of the support holding hole 15 and the outer peripheral surface 37 of the support 11. The bending state of each support 11 due to its elastic deformation is regulated by the regulating gap G, and as shown in Figure 9, for example, the support 11 is curved inward toward the center of the cultivation container support table 1 in a plan view. The plant cultivation shelf 41 formed in this manner can be covered with a net or cover (not shown) as appropriate to improve cultivation or to protect from rain, etc.

Figure 12 shows another example in which the lower portion 12 of the support 11 is inserted and held in the support holding hole 15, thereby placing the support 11 in an upright position. The support 11 is held upright in the support holding holes 15, 15, 15, 15, provided at the four corners of the cultivation container mounting plate 6. Two parallel support columns are connected to each other by a connecting member 43, as shown in Figure 9, for example. As shown in Figure 12(B), the connecting member 43 is connected to the support 11 by fitting C-shaped clamping portions 44, provided on both ends of the connecting member 43, into the support 11. Note that in Figure 9, the connecting member 43 is illustrated as a thick straight line, and the C-shaped clamping portions 44 are not shown. The connecting member 43 also functions to attract plants, so it is recommended to appropriately position it at the required height of the support 11 depending on the growth of the plants in the cultivation container. The plant cultivation shelf 41 formed in this way can be covered with a net or cover (not shown) as appropriate to improve cultivation and to protect from rain, etc.

Figure 13 shows two truncated pyramidal cultivation container support stands 1 arranged side by side with the edges 86, 86 of the horizontal connecting pieces 47 abutting against each other and connected via the connecting means 14. This arrangement doubles the area of the top surface of the cultivation container support plate portion 6, allowing a horizontally elongated cultivation container to be stably placed on the doubled top surface with its length aligned in the direction of the arrangement. Alternatively, multiple cultivation containers can be placed on the doubled top surface.

An example of the connecting means 14 will be described with reference to Figures 13 and 14. As shown in Figure 14(A), the cultivation container placing table 1 according to this embodiment has a connecting engagement protrusion 89 protruding outward from the lower edge portion 87 of one of the horizontal connecting pieces 47, 47 adjacent to each other at a right angle, the horizontal connecting piece 47a, and a connecting engagement recess 91 on the underside of the lower edge portion 87 of the other horizontal connecting piece 47b, into which the connecting engagement protrusion 89 can be detachably fitted in the vertical direction.

By fitting the connecting engagement protrusion 89 having this configuration into the connecting engagement recess 91 (Figure 14(B)), the cultivation container stands 1, 1 can be detachably connected to each other, preventing misalignment of the connected cultivation container stands 1, 1 relative to each other.

When the cultivation container 2 is set up in this manner, the support posts 11 can be erected in the required support post holding holes 15 according to the condition of the cultivated plants, thereby supporting the vines and stems of the plants using the support posts 11 and the connecting members 43, such as those described above, that connect the support posts 11 to each other.

Here, the erection of the support posts will be explained in detail. Whether the support posts 11 need to be erected, at what point the support posts 11 should be erected, which support post holding holes 15 should be selected to erect the support posts 11, the number of support post holding holes 15 selected (and therefore the number of erected support posts 11), the length of the erected support posts 11, whether the length of the erected support posts 11 should be changed during plant cultivation, etc. are set as required depending on the type of plant being cultivated in the cultivation container 2 and the plant's growth rate.

For example, when cultivating short plants, erecting supports 11 may not be necessary, but when cultivating spreading climbing plants such as clematis, it is best to select the required support holding hole 15 and erect a long support 11 in that support holding hole 15. In this case, to ensure stable support of the plant by the erected support 11, it is best to connect the supports 11, 11 to each other with an appropriate connecting member 43, such as that shown in Figure 12, as shown in Figure 11.

Furthermore, when cultivating fruit-bearing plants such as cucumbers or tomatoes, it is advisable to erect long supports 11 in the required support holding holes 15, and then guide the plants to the supports 11 as appropriate. In this case, the load received by the fruit-holding supports 11 is transmitted to the installation surface 7 via the legs 9, whose lower ends 8 rest on the installation surface 7, preventing the application of excessive load to the cultivation container mounting table 1.

When using a cultivation container support stand 1 configured as described above, the support poles 11 for supporting the plants grown in the cultivation containers 2 are not erected on the cultivation containers 2, but are erected on the cultivation container mounting plate 6, which is separate from the cultivation containers 2. This means that even if wind pressure acts on the support poles 11 supporting the vines and stems of the plants grown in the cultivation containers 2, the cultivation containers 2 can be prevented from tipping over due to this. Furthermore, because the support poles 11 for supporting the plants grown in the cultivation containers 2 are erected without their lower ends being thrust into the cultivation soil inside the cultivation containers, there is no risk of the thrust lower ends impeding the growth of the plant roots.

As mentioned above, the support post retaining hole 15 has a tapered shape that widens in diameter from its lower end 15a toward its upper end 13 (Figure 5), making it easy to insert the lower portion 12 of the support post 11. In addition, when the support post 11 is inserted and held in the support post retaining hole 15, a regulating gap G is formed between the upper edge 36 of the support post retaining hole 15 and the outer peripheral surface 37 of the support post 11, as shown in Figure 6. Because the regulating gap G is formed in this way, the outer peripheral surface 37 of the support post 11 abuts against the upper edge 36 of the support post retaining hole 15, thereby regulating the inclination of the axis L of the support post 11 when the lower portion 12 of the support post 11 is inserted and held in the support post retaining hole 15. For example, when it is necessary to bend the support 11 in a required direction, such as inward F1 or outward F2 of the cultivation container mounting table 1, by elastically deforming its axis L, the bending deformation can be prevented from becoming too large and damaging the support 11, by the outer circumferential surface 37 of the support 11 abutting against the upper edge 36 of the support holding hole 15.

By setting the tilt of the posts 11 as required within these regulations and connecting the upper ends of the posts 11 to each other (Figure 10) or connecting required intermediate portions of the posts 11 to each other with the connecting members 43 (Figure 11), it is possible to appropriately support the plants in accordance with the expansion of the stems and vines as the cultivated plants grow.

In summary, in the present invention, the support post holding hole 15 holds the lower part 12 therein to keep the support post 11 in an upright position, but the support post holding hole 15 is configured so that the support post 11 can be kept in an upright position only when it is needed, rather than keeping the support post 11 in an upright position at all times. In other words, the support post holding hole 15 is configured so that the lower part 12 of the support post 11 can be detachably inserted and held therein as needed. This point will be explained in different cases.
(1) If the plant cultivated in the flowerpot 2 is a plant that does not grow tall, there is no particular need to erect the support 11 in the support holding hole 15.
(2) If the plant cultivated in the flowerpot 2 is a plant that grows large, it does not need to have a support 11 erected in the early stages of its growth, but once it has grown to a certain size, it will need to have a support 11 erected. In this case, a short support will suffice while the plant is short, but once it has grown to a certain height, the short support will be removed and replaced with a long support.
(3) Even if the support 11 is set upright from the start of cultivation, depending on the size of the cultivation container, it may be impossible or difficult to set up the support 11 until after the flowerpot 2 is placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6. In this case, the support 11 is set upright after one or more flowerpots are placed on the cultivation container placing plate 6.
(4) When cultivating two types of plants in the flowerpot 2 placed on the cultivation container placing plate portion 6, namely, tall plants that require the installation of a support 11 and short plants that do not require the installation of a support 11, it may be necessary to install a support only for the plants that require it.

The present invention is in no way limited to the examples shown above, and it goes without saying that various design modifications are possible within the scope of the claims. Examples include the following:

(1) Figure 15 shows another embodiment of the cultivation container placing stand 1 according to the present invention. It differs from the cultivation container placing stand 1 described in Example 1 in that it does not have the connecting engagement protrusions 89 and the connecting engagement recesses 91. The effects of this cultivation container placing stand 1 are similar to those of the cultivation container placing stand 1 according to Example 1. Therefore, by arranging the cultivation container placing stands 1, 1 of the same configuration side by side with the lower edges of the horizontal connecting pieces 47, 47 abutting against each other, the area of the upper surface of the cultivation container placing plate can be increased. This allows a horizontally elongated cultivation container to be stably placed on the enlarged upper surface with its length aligned with the juxtaposition direction. Alternatively, multiple cultivation containers can be placed on the enlarged upper surface.

(2) The connecting means 16 that detachably connects the cultivation container stands 1, 1 to each other can be configured using various known means that can be engaged and disengaged with each other, or interconnecting means such as clips, in addition to the above-mentioned configuration that includes connecting engagement protrusions 91 and connecting engagement recesses 91 that can be detachably fitted together. Furthermore, the connected cultivation container stands 1 may be, for example, three of them that are connected in a linear arrangement or an L-shaped arrangement.

(3) As long as the cultivation container placing plate portion 6 constituting the cultivation container placing stand 1 has the drainage and breathability holes 5 provided in the placing portion 3 on which the cultivation containers 2 are placed, its shape in plan view can be varied in consideration of the design of the cultivation container placing stand 1, including rectangular shapes such as the square shape described above, circular shapes, various polygonal shapes, shapes with curved edges in part or entirely, etc.

(4) The cultivation container placing plate portion 6 has legs 9 protruding at a required interval, with their lower ends 8 resting on the installation surface 7, in order to install the cultivation container placing plate portion 6 on the installation surface 7. The legs 9 are provided at required locations on the cultivation container placing plate portion 6, taking into consideration the placement location of the cultivation container 2 to be placed on the cultivation container placing plate portion 6 and the weight of the cultivation container 2.
In the above embodiment in which the cultivation container mounting base 1 has a truncated pyramidal shape, the legs 9 are provided at the four inside corners, but they may also be provided at the outside corners. As mentioned above, they may also be provided at the center of the cultivation container mounting plate 6. When the cultivation container mounting plate 6 is large enough to accommodate multiple cultivation containers 2 thereon, the legs 9 at the center may also be provided with support post holding holes 15 that are open at the top and have a bottom, just like the legs 9 at the outside corners.

However, they may also be provided in a required location on the cultivation container mounting plate 6 instead of on the legs 9.

(6) The support 11, whose lower portion 12 is removably inserted and held in the support holding hole 15, can be a pipe or solid rod-like body capable of supporting the stems and vines of plants grown in the cultivation container, such as a pipe with a smooth circumferential surface and a circular cross section, a pipe with a smooth circumferential surface and a square cross section, a pipe with protrusions arranged in a row on the circumferential surface in the axial direction of the support, or a pipe with a spirally twisted circumferential surface.
The length of the support 11 can be selected according to the growth rate of the plants in the cultivation container 2, and for example, a support having a length of 750 to 2100 mm can be used.

(7) The holes 5 provided in the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6 do not need to be provided over the entire surface of the cultivation container mounting plate portion 6, but may be provided in the mounting portion 3 configured to allow the cultivation containers 2 to be mounted thereon. Furthermore, the shape of the holes 5 may be set to various shapes, such as circular holes, elliptical holes, or rectangular holes, as long as they can ensure drainage and breathability for the cultivation containers 2 mounted on the mounting portion 3, and their size is not specified.
