Description
The present invention relates to a door locking device that locks various types of doors, such as sliding doors, swing doors, and folding doors, to the upper and lower door frames, ceilings, floors, etc., and locks the door so that it cannot move. In particular, the present invention relates to a door locking device that can be installed in the vertical frame of a door with a stile.
Patent Document 1 describes a door locking device that can be built into the vertical frame of a door, as a door locking device that engages and locks various types of door to the upper or lower door frames, ceiling, floor, etc. The door locking device described in Patent Document 1 includes a locking member, a rod, an operating member, a guided member, and a case.
The locking member engages with a locking recess provided in the upper frame of the door frame to lock the door body. The operating member accepts operation to move the locking member up and down between the locked and unlocked states. The rod is connected to the locking member at its upper end and to the guided member at its lower end. The guided member is shaped like a square bar and connects the rod and operating member.
The case is cylindrical, and a square rod-shaped guided member is slidably inserted through it, guiding the vertical movement of the operating member. The guided member also has an insertion hole through which a shaft-shaped fixing means such as a screw is inserted, and the operating member is fixed to the guided member by the fixing means inserted into the insertion hole of the guided member.
However, in the door locking device described in Patent Document 1, the operating member to which operating force is applied is fixed to the guided member by a shaft-shaped fixing means, so the guided member needs to have a minimum thickness to allow the relatively large-diameter fixing means to pass through. Therefore, the case arranged to encase the guided member also needs to have a minimum width and thickness, which places restrictions on how compact the case can be. When the locking device is installed in the vertical frame of the door, if the vertical frame's width or other dimensions are small, it cannot be installed, limiting the door bodies that can be installed.
The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a door locking device that can be made compact so that it can be installed on doors with smaller vertical frames.

Figure 5 is a front view showing the door locking device according to the embodiment in a state where it is installed on the door.
As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the door locking device of this embodiment is attached to a door 1 having a stile, and includes a locking member 10, an operating member 20, a rod 30, a guide member 40, a guided member 50, a temporary fixing member 60, an emergency unlocking member 70, an adjustment means 80, and a holding means 90.
As shown in Figure 2, the door body 1 of this embodiment is a sliding glass door, has a vertical frame 1a made of aluminum alloy, and is supported by a door frame 2, floor, ceiling, etc. so that it can move left and right in Figure 2. The door body 1 can be suitably used as a door between a changing room and a bathroom, a room partition door, etc. The door body locking device of this embodiment engages the door body 1 with the upper and lower door frames, the floor, ceiling, etc., and locks the door body 1 in a closed position, for example, to prevent it from moving.
The closed state is a state in which the vertical stile 1a of the door body 1 is in contact with the vertical frame 2a of the door frame 2. Note that the door body locking device of the embodiment does not need to lock the door body 1 in the closed state; if the door body 1 is a partition door, it can also be locked in a fixed position to prevent movement when the vertical stile 1a of the door body 1 is not in contact with the vertical frame 2a of the door frame 2.
As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the vertical frame 1a has a storage space 1b therein that extends vertically and has a uniform cross-sectional shape. In this embodiment, the cross-sectional shape of the storage space 1b is a flattened rectangle, and the width direction of the storage space 1b coincides with the thickness direction of the door body 1. Here, a "flattened rectangle" refers to a rectangle that has a "length" and a "width" and is not a square. However, the cross-sectional shape of the storage space 1b is not particularly limited and may be a square, ellipse, or track ellipse. In addition, the door body locking device in this embodiment is inserted into the storage space 1b through an opening 1c of the storage space 1b at the upper or lower end of the vertical frame 1a, and is housed in the storage space 1b and built into the vertical frame 1a.
The vertical frame 1a has grooves 1d on both the indoor side (e.g., the bathroom side) and the outdoor side (e.g., the changing room side) of the door body 1. As shown in Figure 4, a first guide slot 1e is provided at the bottom of the indoor-side groove 1d, and a second guide slot 1f is provided at the bottom of the outdoor-side groove 1d. As shown in Figure 3, the vertical frame 1a and the upper frame 1g are connected by a set screw 1h. A first buffer member 1i extending vertically is provided on the door end side of the vertical frame 1a, and a second buffer member 1k extending vertically to hold the glass plate 1j is provided on the opposite side.
The locking member 10 is movable up and down between a locked state, indicated by a solid line in Figure 1, and an unlocked state, indicated by a two-dot chain line. In this embodiment, the position of the locking member 10 in the locked state is higher than the position of the locking member 10 in the unlocked state. Note that the locking member 10 may also lock the door body 1 to the floor or the bottom frame of the door frame 2. When the locking member 10 locks the door body 1 to the floor or the bottom frame of the door frame 2, the position of the locking member 10 in the locked state is lower than the position of the locking member 10 in the unlocked state.
The locked state is a state in which the locking member 10 locks the door body 1. In this embodiment, the locking member 10 engages with a locking recess 2c formed in the upper frame 2b of the door frame 2 in the locked state, locking the door body 1. The unlocked state is a state in which the locking member 10 does not lock the door body 1; in this embodiment, the locking member 10 is retracted inside the vertical frame 1a in the unlocked state, and is disengaged from the locking recess 2c.
The operating member 20 works in conjunction with the locking member 10 and receives operations to move the locking member 10 up and down. In this embodiment, the operating member 20 is made of an aluminum alloy and has a grip portion 21 and a connecting protrusion 22, as shown in Figures 4 and 5.
The grip portion 21 of the operating member 20 is a vertically long rectangular plate that is disposed inside the groove 1d of the vertical frame 1a and makes sliding contact with the groove 1d. A rectangular buffer spacer 23 made of a resin sheet is disposed between the grip portion 21 and the bottom of the groove 1d, preventing the grip portion 21 from rubbing against the bottom of the groove 1d and causing damage to the bottom of the groove 1d. Furthermore, because the grip portion 21 is a vertically long rectangular plate, it can cover the first guide slot 1e, improving the design of the door body 1.
The connecting protrusion 22 of the operating member 20 protrudes from the back surface of the grip portion 21 and is inserted into the first guide slot 1e, making sliding contact with the first guide slot 1e. The connecting protrusion 22 also has a track-shaped elliptical cross section, with a female thread 22a opening at the tip of the protrusion. The connecting protrusion 22 has a track-shaped elliptical cross section and makes sliding contact with the first guide slot 1e, preventing rotation of the operating member 20 and maintaining the correct vertical position of the grip portion 21.
The rod 30 connects the locking member 10 and the operating member 20. In this embodiment, the upper end of the rod 30 is connected to the locking member 10, and the lower end of the rod 30 is connected to the guided member 50, and the rod 30 connects the locking member 10 and the operating member 20 via the guided member 50.
The guide member 40 and guided member 50 will be described below with reference to Figures 6 and 7. Figure 6(a) is a front view of the guide member of the embodiment. Figure 6(b) is a side view of the guide member of the embodiment. Figure 6(c) is a top view of the guide member of the embodiment. Figure 7(a) is a front view of the guided member of the embodiment. Figure 7(b) is a side view of the guided member of the embodiment. Figure 7(c) is a top view of the guided member of the embodiment.
As shown in Figure 6, the guide member 40 is a profile member with a flat C-shaped cross section similar to that of a lip channel steel, and its cross section is a flat rectangular shape overall. It is housed in the storage space 1b so that its width direction coincides with the thickness direction of the door body 1, is fixed to the vertical frame 1a, and guides the operating member 20.
The guide member 40 and the guided member 50 (described below) are arranged so that one contains the other. In this embodiment, the guide member 40 contains the sliding contact portion 53 of the guided member 50, guiding the guided member 50 and guiding the vertical movement of the operating member 20.
The guide member 40 also has a vertically long retaining slot 41 and multiple set screw holes 42. A retaining shaft member (not shown) is inserted into the retaining slot 41. The retaining shaft member is disposed on the guided member 50 to prevent the guided member 50 from falling off the guide member 40.
As shown in Figure 5, multiple setscrews 40a are threaded into the multiple setscrew holes 42 so as to penetrate the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b, and the guide member 40 is fixed to the vertical stile 1a inside the storage space 1b. The multiple setscrews 40a are screwed into each outer surface of the vertical stile 1a from the outer surface on the door edge side where the first buffer member 1i is arranged, and the heads of the multiple setscrews 40a are covered by the first buffer member 1i and are not exposed to the outside, improving the design of the door body 1.
As shown in Figure 7, the guided member 50 is generally long and plate-shaped, extends vertically, and is disposed inside the storage space 1b so that its width coincides with the thickness of the door body 1. The guided member 50 includes a first connecting portion 51, a second connecting portion 52, and a sliding contact portion 53.
In this embodiment, the second connecting portion 52, the first connecting portion 51, and the sliding contact portion 53 are arranged in this order from the top of the guided member 50, and the sliding contact portion 53 is arranged at a different position in the vertical direction of the guided member 50 from the first connecting portion 51 and the second connecting portion 52.
The first connecting portion 51 of the guided member 50 has a flattened rectangular cross section and includes a first through-hole 51a, which connects to the operating member 20. The first through-hole 51a is formed to penetrate the first connecting portion 51 in a direction intersecting the extension direction of the guided member 50, which in this embodiment is the width direction of the guided member 50, which is the thickness direction of the door body 1. A fastening member 71, described below, is inserted into the first through-hole 51a.
The second connecting portion 52 of the guided member 50 is a long plate that is the same thickness and width as the first connecting portion 51 but shorter than the first connecting portion 51, and is connected to the rod 30. The second connecting portion 52 also has a second female thread 52a. In this embodiment, the second female thread 52a opens at the upper end surface of the second connecting portion 52.
The second connecting portion 52 is integrally connected to the first connecting portion 51 by the narrow width portion 54. The narrow width portion 54 is thinner and narrower than the first connecting portion 51 and the second connecting portion 52, and is fitted with a U-shaped resin sliding spacer 55. The sliding spacer 55 makes sliding contact with the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b, allowing the guided member 50 to move smoothly up and down within the storage space 1b.
The sliding contact portion 53 of the guided member 50 is a long plate that is thinner and narrower than the first connecting portion 51. It extends downward from the lower end of the first connecting portion 51 and makes sliding contact with the guide member 40. The sliding contact portion 53 also has a second through hole 53a and a third through hole 53b. The second through hole 53a penetrates the sliding contact portion 53 in the width direction of the guided member 50 and accommodates a spring 64 (described below), as well as a pair of steel balls 65 that can protrude through openings at both ends. The third through hole 53b penetrates the sliding contact portion 53 in the thickness direction of the guided member 50 and allows the aforementioned shaft-shaped retaining member to be inserted therethrough.
The temporary fixing portion 60 will be described below with reference to Figures 6, 7, and the aforementioned Figure 1.
The temporary fixing portion 60 temporarily fixes the locking member 10 between the locked state and the unlocked state. In this embodiment, the temporary fixing portion 60 includes a first groove portion 61, a second groove portion 62, and an elastic engagement portion 63.
As shown in FIG. 6 , the first groove 61 and the second groove 62 are formed at positions corresponding to the locked and unlocked states of either the guide member 40 or the guided member 50. In this embodiment, the first groove 61 is formed in the guide member 40 at a position facing both end openings of the second through hole 53a of the guided member 50 when the locking member 10 is in the locked state. The second groove 62 is formed in the guide member 40 at a position facing both end openings of the second through hole 53a of the guided member 50 when the locking member 10 is in the unlocked state.
The elastic engagement portion 63 is disposed on the other of the guide member 40 and the guided member 50, and elastically engages with the first groove portion 61 and the second groove portion 62. In this embodiment, the elastic engagement portion 63 includes a spring 64 and a pair of steel balls 65, which are a pair of engagement members, and is disposed on the sliding contact portion 53 of the guided member 50.
The spring 64 is compressed and housed inside the second through hole 53a in the sliding contact portion 53. A pair of steel balls 65 are housed inside the second through hole 53a so as to abut both ends of the spring 64. The pair of steel balls 65 are biased by the spring 64 to protrude outward from both end openings of the second through hole 53a, and resiliently engage with the first groove portion 61 and the second groove portion 62. When the pair of steel balls 65 engage with the first groove portion 61, the locking member 10 is temporarily fixed in the locked state, and when the pair of steel balls 65 engage with the second groove portion 62, the locking member 10 is temporarily fixed in the unlocked state.
Next, the emergency unlocking unit 70 will be described with reference to Figure 8 and the aforementioned Figures 4 and 7. Figure 8 is a rear view of the door locking device according to the embodiment, installed on the door.
The emergency unlocking unit 70 accepts an emergency unlocking operation. The emergency unlocking operation is an operation in which the operating member 20 is moved from one of the two sides of the door body 1 opposite the side on which the operating member 20 is located, so as to set the locking member 10 to the unlocked state.
As shown in Figures 4 and 8, the emergency unlocking unit 70 includes a fastening member 71. In this embodiment, the fastening member 71 is a hexagon socket head bolt having a shaft 71a and a head 71b, and fastens the first connecting portion 51 of the guided member 50 to the operating member 20.
The shaft portion 71a of the fastening member 71 has a male thread and is inserted into the first through-hole 51a of the first connecting portion 51 from the side opposite the operating member 20. The male thread of the shaft portion 71a threadably engages with the female thread 22a of the connecting protrusion 22 of the operating member 20.
The head 71b of the fastening member 71 has a recess 71c, such as a hexagonal hole, for rotating the fastening member 71. As shown in Figures 4 and 8, it is disposed inside the second guide slot 1f of the vertical frame 1a, allowing it to be rotated from the outside of the door body 1.
The emergency unlocking unit 70 accepts an emergency unlocking operation when an upward or downward force is applied to the head 71b of the fastening member 71. In this embodiment, a long, thin object such as a hairpin or ballpoint pen is inserted into the recess 71c of the head 71b, and when a downward force is applied to the head 71b, the operating member 20 moves downward, the locking member 10 enters an unlocked state, and the emergency unlocking unit 70 accepts the emergency unlocking operation.
As described above with reference to Figures 1 to 8, in the door locking device of this embodiment, the operating member 20 accepts an operation to move the locking member 10 up and down, the rod 30 connects the locking member 10 and the operating member 20, the guide member 40 guides the operating member 20, and the guided member 50 has a first connecting portion 51 connected to the operating member 20, a second connecting portion 52 connected to the rod 30, and a sliding portion 53 that slides against the guide member 40, with the sliding portion 53 being disposed at a different vertical position on the guided member 50 from the first connecting portion 51.
By arranging the sliding contact portion 53 at a different vertical position from the first connecting portion 51, the first connecting portion 51, to which operating force is applied via the operating member 20, and the sliding contact portion 53, which is guided by the guide member 40, are separated within the guided member 50. This allows the size of the sliding contact portion 53 to be the minimum necessary for guiding the operating member 20, and makes it more compact so that it can be installed on door bodies 1 with smaller vertical stiles 1a.
Explaining in more detail, the first connecting portion 51 has a first through-hole 51a formed therein that can accommodate a relatively large-diameter bolt in order to secure the operating member 20 to the guided member 50 with sufficient strength, which places restrictions on reducing the thickness, etc. Therefore, by providing the sliding contact portion 53 separately from the first connecting portion 51, the sliding contact portion 53 can be thinned to a thickness necessary and sufficient to guide the operating member 20. This makes it easier to reduce the thickness of the guide member 40, which was a bottleneck when reducing the size of the door body locking device, and allows for a more compact design that allows installation on door bodies with smaller stiles 1a, such as those with a smaller width of the stile 1a in the door opening and closing direction.
Furthermore, as described with reference to Figures 1 to 8, in the door locking device of this embodiment, the temporary fixing portion 60 includes a first groove portion 61, a second groove portion 62, and an elastic engagement portion 63, the first groove portion 61 and the second groove portion 62 being formed on one of the guide member 40 and the sliding contact portion 53, and the elastic engagement portion 63 being disposed on the other of the guide member 40 and the sliding contact portion 53, with one of the guide member 40 and the sliding contact portion 53 encompassing the other.
In this embodiment, a first groove 61 and a second groove 62 are formed in the guide member 40, which contains the other of the guide member 40 and the sliding contact portion 53, and an elastic engagement portion 63 is disposed in the contained sliding contact portion 53. Therefore, as in the embodiment, it is possible to dispose the spring 64 of the elastic engagement portion 63 inside the sliding contact portion 53, and an elastic means for elastic engagement can be disposed inside the contained member.
As a result of the above, the installation of the temporary fixing part 60 prevents the size of the locking device from increasing, and the door body 1 can be smoothly and reliably engaged, locked to prevent movement, and unlocked. Furthermore, the vertical stile 1a can be installed on door bodies 1 with smaller sizes, making it even easier to make the device more compact.
Furthermore, by closely contacting the guide member 40 and the sliding contact portion 53 on the inside and outside and using a steel ball 65 with a small maximum protrusion from the second through-hole 53a as the engaging member for the temporary fixing portion 60, the width of the guide member 40 can be further reduced, making it even easier to make it more compact so that it can be installed on door bodies with smaller vertical stiles.
Furthermore, as described with reference to Figures 1 to 8, in the door body locking device of this embodiment, the emergency unlocking unit 70 accepts an emergency unlocking operation to move the operating member 20 to unlock the locking member 10 from either side of the door body 1 opposite the side on which the operating member 20 is located. Therefore, for example, if the door body 1 is a sliding glass door or other door body installed between a changing room and a bathroom, and an emergency such as someone collapsing inside the bathroom occurs, the door can be unlocked from the changing room side, allowing the emergency to be dealt with.
Furthermore, as in the embodiment, the emergency unlocking unit 70 also serves as the fastening member 71 for securing the operating member 20, and the emergency unlocking operation is performed by applying an upward or downward force to the head 71b of the fastening member 71. This prevents an increase in the number of parts and simplifies installation. Furthermore, the emergency unlocking unit 70 can be made with a simple structure, reducing the manufacturing costs of the door locking device.
Furthermore, the head 71b of the fastening member 71 serves as the application point to which force is applied for emergency unlocking operations. As shown in Figure 4, by arranging the application point inside the second guide slot 1f, the application point does not protrude from the surface of the vertical frame 1a, making it impossible to unlock the door with one's fingers. It also prevents unintentional unlocking in the event that luggage or other external objects collide with the application point.
Next, the locking member 10 and rod 30 will be described in more detail with reference to Figures 9 and 10 and the aforementioned Figures 1, 4, and 7, and the adjustment means 80 and holding means 90 of the embodiment will be described. Figure 9(a) is a front view of the locking member of the embodiment. Figure 9(b) is a side view of the locking member of the embodiment. Figure 9(c) is a top view of the locking member of the embodiment. Figure 10(a) is a front view of the rod of the embodiment. Figure 10(b) is a side view of the rod of the embodiment.
As shown in Figure 9, the locking member 10 of this embodiment is a long, flat plate arranged in the vertical direction, and has an engagement portion 11, a rotation-preventing portion 12, and a narrow portion 13. Here, "flat shape" refers to a shape in which the thickness is smaller than the width overall. The engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12 are the same thickness, and the thickness of the narrow portion 13 is smaller than the thickness of the engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12.
The engagement portion 11 is located at the tip of the locking member 10, protrudes above or below the door body 1, and engages with a locking recess 2c located above or below the door body 1. In this embodiment, the tip of the engagement portion 11 is narrower than the rotation prevention portion 12, and as shown in Figure 1, in the locked state, it protrudes upward from the vertical stile 1a, is inserted into the locking recess 2c, and engages with the locking recess 2c.
In addition, a tapered portion 11a is formed at the tip of the engagement portion 11, which reduces in thickness and width toward the tip of the locking member 10 to facilitate insertion into the locking recess 2c. The base end 11b of the engagement portion 11 is widened to have the same width as the rotation prevention portion 12, and normally remains inside the stile 1a even in the locked state. It is not essential that the base end 11b of the engagement portion 11 always remain inside the stile 1a.
The rotation prevention portion 12 is located on the base end side of the locking member 10 and always remains inside the storage space 1b, preventing rotation of the locking member 10 even when the locking member 10 moves between the locked and unlocked states. A first female screw 12a opens at the lower end of the rotation prevention portion 12.
As shown in Figure 9, the narrow width portion 13 is narrower and thinner than the base end 11b of the engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12, and is disposed between the engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12 so as to integrally connect the engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12. A U-shaped resin sliding spacer 14 is fitted to the narrow width portion 13. By being sandwiched between the base end 11b of the engagement portion 11 and the rotation-preventing portion 12, the sliding spacer 14 fixes its vertical position relative to the locking member 10, allowing the locking member 10 to move smoothly up and down, and makes sliding contact with the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b to reduce the noise generated when the locking member 10 moves.
As shown in Figure 10, the rod 30 of this embodiment has a first male thread 81 at its upper end and a second male thread 82 at its lower end. A sliding block 91 is attached to the rod 30 at a predetermined position between the first male thread 81 and the second male thread 82 so as to be rotatable integrally with the rod 30. The sliding block 91 has a flattened rectangular parallelepiped shape and is disposed inside the storage space 1b, sliding against the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b.
The adjustment means 80 adjusts the amount or length of protrusion of the locking member 10 above or below the door body 1. In this embodiment, the adjustment means 80 includes a first male screw 81 and a second male screw 82 provided on the rod 30, a first female screw 12a on the locking member 10, and a second female screw 52a on the guided member 50. The adjustment means 80 in this embodiment adjusts the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 above or below the door body 1 by adjusting at least one of the amount of threading of the first male screw 81 into the first female screw 12a and the amount of threading of the second male screw 82 into the second female screw 52a.
The retaining means 90 maintains the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 adjusted by the adjusting means 80. In this embodiment, the retaining means 90 includes a rotation prevention portion 12 of the locking member 10 and a sliding block 91.
The rotation prevention portion 12 serving as the holding means 90 makes sliding contact with the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b, preventing the locking member 10 from rotating and maintaining the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10. The sliding block 91 serving as the holding means 90 makes sliding contact with the peripheral wall of the storage space 1b, preventing the rod 30 from rotating and maintaining the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10.
If the rotation prevention portion 12 prevents the rotation of the locking member 10, thereby preventing the rod 30 from rotating, the amount of threading of the first male screw 81 into the first female screw 12a is maintained, and the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 adjusted by the adjustment means 80 is maintained.
Furthermore, by preventing the rotation of the rod 30, the sliding block 91 maintains the amount of threading of the second male screw 82 into the second female screw 52a, and as described above, the amount of threading of the first male screw 81 into the first female screw 12a is maintained, thereby maintaining the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 adjusted by the adjustment means 80.
Below is a description of an example of the procedure for adjusting the protrusion amount of the locking member 10 using the adjustment means 80.
Step 1: With the operating member 20 removed from the guided member 50, loosen the setscrew 40a to release the guide member 40 from the vertical frame 1a.
Step 2: Pull the entire locking member 10 out of the vertical frame 1a through the opening 1c of the storage space 1b, and rotate the locking member 10 as many times as necessary to adjust the amount of threading of the first male screw 81 into the first female screw 12a, thereby adjusting the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10.
Step 3: If the protrusion amount of the locking member 10 cannot be sufficiently adjusted using the operation in Step 2, pull the rod 30 out of the vertical frame 1a until the sliding block 91 can be grasped, and rotate the sliding block 91 to rotate the rod 30 together with the locking member 10. This adjusts the amount of threading of the second male screw 82 into the second female screw 52a, thereby adjusting the protrusion amount of the locking member 10.
Step 4: While preventing the rod 30 and locking member 10 from rotating, insert them into the storage space 1b and secure the guide member 40 to the vertical frame 1a with the setscrew 40a.
As explained above with reference to Figures 9 and 10, the adjustment means 80 allows the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 above or below the door body 1 to be adjusted, allowing the locking device to be installed on door bodies 1 with various gaps between them and the upper frame 2b or floor.
Furthermore, by forming a first male thread 81 and a second male thread 82 on the rod 30 instead of a female thread, there is no need to attach, for example, a cylindrical female thread member to the rod 30, which helps prevent an increase in the number of parts.
In addition, the amount of protrusion can be adjusted using both the first male screw 81 and the second male screw 82. Even if it is not possible to form a female screw deep enough on the locking member 10 to adjust the amount of protrusion, this can be compensated for by forming a female screw on the guided member 50. This allows the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 to be adjusted with sufficient adjustment for various door bodies 1.
In addition, the retaining means 90 maintains the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10, which is adjusted by the adjusting means 80, so that the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 can be maintained even when external force is applied, preventing problems such as the locking member 10 rubbing against the floor or upper frame 2b or being unable to lock the door body 1 due to fluctuations in the amount of protrusion of the locking member 10 caused by vibrations when opening or closing the door body 1 or by a person applying force to the locking member 10.
Furthermore, since the holding means 90 includes a sliding block 91 that is attached to the exterior of the rod 30 and rotates integrally with the rod 30, the sliding block 91 can be grasped when adjusting the amount of protrusion, making it easy to rotate the rod 30 and adjust the amount of protrusion, further facilitating adjustment of the amount of protrusion.
