Description

The present invention relates to clothing.

One technique proposed for improving the comfort of clothing is to provide a single vent at the back of the garment (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

As mentioned above, the above-mentioned conventional garments have one vent on the back of the garment, and when the wearer is seated, the overlapping part of the vent may get caught between the wearer's buttocks and a chair, making it difficult for the wearer to maintain a seated position. This leaves room for improvement in terms of making the garment more comfortable to wear.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above, and aims to provide clothing that can improve the wearability of clothing.

Embodiments of clothing according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. (Composition - clothing body)
1 , the garment body 10 is the basic structure of the garment 1. The garment body 10 is formed as a substantially hollow body capable of covering the upper body of a wearer. Specifically, for the sake of convenience, the garment body 10 will be described below by dividing it into five regions.

That is, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, this garment body 10 comprises a front body 11 that covers the wearer's abdomen, a back body 12 that covers the wearer's back, a right sleeve 13 that covers the wearer's right upper arm, a left sleeve 14 that covers the wearer's left upper arm, and a collar 15 that stands up from a neck opening 16 (opening).

In addition, in this embodiment, a hem portion 17 (opening) is provided at the lower end of each of the front body portion 11 and the back body portion 12, and a cuff portion 18 (opening) is provided at the tip of each of the right sleeve portion 13 and the left sleeve portion 14.

Furthermore, the specific configuration of the front body 11 and back body 12 is optional, but in this embodiment, the height position of the lower end of the front body 11 and/or back body 12 is configured to be at the same height as the lower end of the wearer's buttocks or in the vicinity thereof.

Returning to Fig. 1 , the first front pocket 21 is capable of containing an item (not shown). This first front pocket 21 is formed as a generally bag-shaped body, specifically, made of the same material as the garment body 10 (note that the second front pocket 22, first rear pocket 31, second rear pocket 32, and third rear pocket 33 are also formed in a generally similar manner). This first front pocket 21 is provided on the inner surface 10a of the front body 11 (however, the storage opening of the first front pocket 21 is exposed to the outside). Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1 , this first front pocket 21 is provided in a portion of the right side of the front body 11 corresponding to the area between the wearer's chest and abdomen, and is fixed to the front body 11 by sewing or the like.

Here, "contained items" refers to items stored in the first front pocket 21, second front pocket 22, first rear pocket 31, second rear pocket 32, and third rear pocket 33, and in the embodiment, this concept includes mobile devices (e.g., medical PHS, smartphones), medical equipment (e.g., surgical loupes), batteries for electrical equipment (e.g., batteries for mobile devices), and/or stationery.

(Configuration - Second front pocket portion)
The second front pocket 22 is capable of storing contents and is provided on the outer surface 10b of the front body 11. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1, the second front pocket 22 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the front body 11 in a portion corresponding to the left chest of the wearer, and is fixed to the front body 11 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - First rear pocket portion)
The first rear pocket 31 is for storing contents and is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12. Specifically, as shown in Figure 2, the first rear pocket 31 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12 in a portion corresponding to the right side of the wearer's torso, and is fixed to the back body 12 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - second rear pocket portion)
The second rear pocket 32 is for storing contents. The second rear pocket 32 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 2, the second rear pocket 32 is provided so as to cover a portion of the outer surface 10b of the first rear pocket 31 (in Fig. 2, the portion other than the upper end of the first rear pocket 31), and is fixed to the back body 12 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - Third rear pocket)
The third rear pocket 33 is for storing contents. The first rear pocket 31 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12. Specifically, as shown in Figure 2, the first rear pocket 31 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12 in a portion that corresponds to the left side of the wearer's torso, and is fixed to the back body 12 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - First Front Loop Portion)

The second front loop 42 is for holding an object and is made of, for example, a known loop material (e.g., a fabric loop material) and is provided on the outer surface 10b of the front body 11. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1, the second front loop 42 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the garment near the collar 15 and fixed to the front body 11 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - Third front loop portion)
The third front loop 43 is for holding an object and is made of, for example, a known loop material (e.g., a fabric loop material) and is provided on the outer surface 10b of the front body 11. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1, the third front loop 43 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the front body 11 in a portion corresponding to the left waist, and is fixed to the front body 11 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - rear loop portion)
The rear loop 50 is for holding an object and is made of, for example, a known two-stage continuous loop material (e.g., a two-stage continuous loop material made of cloth) and is provided on the outer surface 10b of the back body 12. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 2, the rear loop 50 is provided on the outer surface 10b of the garment in the vicinity of the first rear pocket 31 (directly above the first rear pocket 31 in Fig. 2), and is fixed to the back body 12 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration-neck adjustment part)
Returning to Figure 1, collar adjustment section 60 is a collar adjustment means for adjusting the size of collar 16 to make it easier for the wearer to put on and take off garment 1. Collar adjustment section 60 is configured using, for example, a known adjustment member (one example is an adjustment member having a plurality of buttons 61), and is provided so as to extend from collar 16 to right sleeve 13, as shown in Figure 1.

The pair of vents 70 are intended to prevent tension from being generated in the hem and its vicinity of the front body 11 when the wearer is sitting (hereinafter referred to as the "sitting state") by the pair of vents 70. The pair of vents 70 are provided on the front body 11, and specifically, as shown in Figure 1, are arranged at a distance from each other on the front body 11.

In the following, where necessary, of the pair of vent portions 70, the vent portion 70a located on the right side will be referred to as the "right vent portion 70a," and the vent portion 70b located on the left side will be referred to as the "left vent portion 70b."

Each of the pair of vent portions 70 is constructed using, for example, known vent parts, and specifically includes a notch portion 71, a first overlapping portion 72, and a second overlapping portion 73, as shown in Figure 3.

The cutout 71 is intended to prevent tension from occurring at the hem of the front body 11 and in the surrounding area, and is formed by cutting out a part of the garment body 10.

(Configuration - Benz part - first overlapping part)
The first overlapping portion 72 is intended to prevent the wearer's skin or underwear from being exposed. This first overlapping portion 72 is made of the same woven or multi-layer knit material as the material of the garment body 10. As shown in Figures 3(b) and 4, the first overlapping portion 72 is provided so as to protrude forward from the rear end of the cutout portion 71 and is connected to the garment body 10 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - Benz part - second overlapping part)
The second overlapping portion 73 is intended to prevent exposure of the wearer's skin or underwear. This second overlapping portion 73 is made of a woven or multi-layer knit material made of the same material as the garment body 10, and as shown in Figures 3(b) and 4, is provided so as to protrude rearward from the front end of the cutout portion 71, and is provided so as to cover the first overlapping portion 72 from the outside and overlap at least a portion of the first overlapping portion 72 in a front view, and is connected to the garment body 10 by sewing or the like.

(Configuration - Mercedes-Benz section - Other configurations)
Returning to FIG. 1, the specific configuration of the pair of vent portions 70 is arbitrary, but in this embodiment they are configured as follows.

First, each of the pair of vents 70 is configured to extend from the wearer's anterior superior iliac spine or a position nearby thereto to the lower end of the front body 11 (note that, as mentioned above, the height position of the lower end of the front body 11 is the height position of the wearer's buttocks or a position nearby thereto).

Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the cutout 71, first overlapping portion 72, and second overlapping portion 73 of the right vent portion 70a are each configured to extend from the wearer's right anterior superior iliac spine to the lower right edge of the front body 11. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3(a), the cutout 71, first overlapping portion 72, and second overlapping portion 73 of the left vent portion 70b are each configured to extend from the wearer's left anterior superior iliac spine to the lower left edge of the front body 11.

This configuration effectively prevents the wearer's skin or underwear from being exposed when sitting, while also preventing tension from forming at the hem of the front body 11 and in the surrounding area, improving the comfort of the garment 1.

The pair of vent portions 70 are also arranged so that one of the pair of vent portions 70 is located at or near one end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction, and the other of the pair of vent portions 70 is located at or near the other end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction.

Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1, the pair of vents 70 are arranged so that the notch 71, first overlapping portion 72, and second overlapping portion 73 of the right vent 70a are each located near the right edge of the wearer's abdomen (more specifically, at a position more inward in the width direction than the right edge), and the notch 71, first overlapping portion 72, and second overlapping portion 73 of the left vent 70b are each located near the left edge of the wearer's abdomen (more specifically, at a position more inward in the width direction than the left edge).

With this configuration, the portion of the front body 11 between the pair of vents 70 can be made shorter than when a pair of vents 70 are provided at the boundary between the front body 11 and the back body 12, making it easier to prevent tension from occurring at the hem of the front body 11 and its surrounding area when the wearer is sitting with their legs spread apart.

Furthermore, the overlap width (specifically, the length in the left-right direction) between the first overlapping portion 72 and the second overlapping portion 73 in each of the pair of vent portions 70 is set to a length that prevents the wearer's skin or underwear from being exposed when viewed from the front while seated.

Specifically, the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the right vent portion 70a and the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the left vent portion 70b are set to be approximately the same. Furthermore, the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of each of the right vent portion 70a and the left vent portion 70b is set to approximately 6 cm.

This configuration makes it difficult for the pair of vents 70 to open when the wearer is seated, thereby reducing exposure of the wearer's skin or underwear when viewed from the front.

Furthermore, the first overlapping portion 72 and the second overlapping portion 73 in each of the pair of vent portions 70 may be formed by any method, but in this embodiment, they are formed by folding back a portion of the woven fabric or multilayer knit material that makes up the first overlapping portion 72 or the second overlapping portion 73 at least once.

Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, the first overlapping portion 72 is formed by folding back a portion of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit fabric that constitutes the first overlapping portion 72 only once (in FIG. 4, only the amount of folding back width W1 of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit fabric). Furthermore, the second overlapping portion 73 is formed by folding back a portion of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit fabric that constitutes the second overlapping portion 73 only once (in FIG. 4, only the amount of folding back width W2 of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit fabric).

This configuration increases the durability of the pair of vent portions 70.

The method for setting the fold width W1 and the fold width W2 is arbitrary, but in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 4, the fold width W2 is set to be longer than the fold width W1. For example, the fold width W1 may be set to approximately 5.5 cm and the fold width W2 may be set to approximately 6.0 cm. However, this is not limiting, and for example, the fold width W2 may be set to approximately the same length as the fold width W1.

Compared to when a pair of vents 70 are provided on the back body 12, the garment 1 described above reduces exposure of the wearer's skin or underwear when seated, and prevents tension from forming at the hem of the front body 11 and its surrounding area, while preventing the overlapping portions of the vents 70 from getting caught between the wearer's buttocks and a chair, etc. This makes it easier for the wearer to maintain a seated position, improving the comfort of the garment 1.

(The effect of clothing)
Next, the operation of the garment 1 configured in this manner will be described.

The actions of this garment 1 can be broadly divided into an action when the wearer is standing (hereinafter referred to as the "standing state") (hereinafter referred to as the "first action") and an action when the wearer is sitting (hereinafter referred to as the "second action"). In addition, even if the cutout portion 71 opens, the first overlapping portion 72 and the second overlapping portion 73 of each of the pair of vent portions 70 cover the wearer's skin or underwear, thereby preventing the wearer's skin or underwear from being exposed.

As a result of the above, it is possible to maintain the wearability of garment 1 when sitting.

Furthermore, the front body 11 is configured so that the height position of the lower end of the front body 11 is at the height position of the wearer's buttocks or the vicinity thereof, and each of the pair of vents 70 is configured to extend from the wearer's anterior superior iliac spine or a position nearby to the lower end of the front body 11. Furthermore, the pair of vents 70 are arranged so that one of the pair is located at or near one widthwise end of the wearer's abdomen, and the other of the pair is located at or near the other widthwise end of the wearer's abdomen. This allows the portion of the front body 11 between the pair of vents 70 to be shorter than when a pair of vents 70 are respectively located at the boundary between the front body 11 and the back body 12, making it easier to prevent tension from occurring at the hem of the front body 11 and its surrounding area when the wearer is sitting with their legs spread apart.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the pair of vent portions 70 are described as being arranged so that one of the pair of vent portions 70 is located at or near one end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction, and the other of the pair of vent portions 70 is located at or near the other end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction, but this is not limited to this. For example, at least one of the pair of vent portions 70 may be located near the boundary between the front body portion 11 and the back body portion 12.

As an example, the right vent portion 70a may be located near the right boundary between the front body portion 11 and the back body portion 12, and the left vent portion 70a may be located near the left boundary between the front body portion 11 and the back body portion 12.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the right vent portion 70a and the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the left vent portion 70b are described as being set to be approximately the same, but this is not limited to this. For example, the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the right vent portion 70a and the overlap width between the first overlap portion 72 and the second overlap portion 73 of the left vent portion 70b may be set to be different from each other.

In the above embodiment, the first overlapping portion 72 and the second overlapping portion 73 in each of the pair of vent portions 70 are described as being formed by folding back a portion of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit material that constitutes the first overlapping portion 72 or the second overlapping portion 73 only once, but this is not limited to this. For example, the first overlapping portion 72 or the second overlapping portion 73 may be formed by folding back a portion of the woven fabric or multi-layer knit material multiple times.

(Additional Note)
The garment of Appendix 1 is a garment worn by a wearer, comprising an upper garment having a front body and a back body, and a pair of vent portions provided on the front body, the pair of vent portions being configured to prevent tension from occurring in the hem and surrounding areas of the front body when the wearer is sitting.

The garment of Appendix 2 is the garment of Appendix 1, wherein the front and/or back body sections are configured so that the height position of the lower ends of the front and/or back body sections is at the same height as the lower end of the wearer's buttocks or in the vicinity thereof.

The garment of Appendix 3 is the garment of Appendix 1 or 2, wherein the front body is configured so that the height position of the lower end of the front body is at the height position of the wearer's buttocks or the vicinity thereof, and each of the pair of vents is configured to extend from the wearer's anterior superior iliac spine or a position nearby to the lower end of the front body.

The garment of Appendix 4 is the garment of any one of Appendixes 1 to 3, wherein the pair of vent portions is provided so that one of the pair of vent portions is located at or near one end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction, and the other of the pair of vent portions is located at or near the other end of the wearer's abdomen in the width direction.

(Effect of supplementary notes)
According to the garment described in Appendix 1, the garment has a pair of vents provided on the front body that prevent tension from building up in the hem of the front body and its surrounding area when the wearer is sitting, so compared to a garment with a pair of vents provided on the back body, exposure of the wearer's skin or underwear is reduced when sitting, and tension is reduced in the hem of the front body and its surrounding area, while the overlapping parts of the vents can be prevented from getting caught between the wearer's buttocks and a chair, etc. This makes it easier for the wearer to maintain a seated position, improving the comfort of the garment.

According to the garment described in Appendix 2, the front and/or back body sections are configured so that the lower ends of the front and/or back body sections are positioned at the same height as the lower ends of the wearer's buttocks or in the vicinity thereof. This reduces exposure of the wearer's skin or underwear when viewed from the front and/or back, further improving the comfort of the garment.

According to the garment described in Appendix 3, the front body is configured so that the height position of the lower end of the front body is at the same height as the wearer's buttocks or the vicinity thereof, and each of the pair of vents is configured to extend from the wearer's anterior superior iliac spine or a position nearby to the lower end of the front body. This effectively prevents the wearer's skin or underwear from being exposed when sitting, while also effectively preventing tension from forming at the hem of the front body and the surrounding area, further improving the comfort of the garment.

The garment described in Appendix 4 has a pair of vents arranged so that one of the vents is located at or near one widthwise end of the wearer's abdomen, and the other of the vents is located at or near the other widthwise end of the wearer's abdomen. This allows the portion of the front body between the pair of vents to be shorter than when a pair of vents is located at the boundary between the front and back body sections, making it easier to prevent tension from occurring at the hem of the front body section and the surrounding area when the wearer is sitting with their legs spread apart.

A garment to be worn by a wearer, the garment comprising an upper garment having a front body and a back body,
a pair of vents provided on the front body, the pair of vents being configured to prevent tension from being generated in a hem portion of the front body and a portion in the vicinity thereof when the wearer is sitting;
The front body is configured so that the height position of the lower end of the front body is at the height position of the buttocks of the wearer or the vicinity thereof,
Each of the pair of vents is configured to extend from the anterior superior iliac spine of the wearer or a position in the vicinity thereof to a lower end of the front body portion,
Each of the pair of vent portions includes a notch portion, a first overlapping portion provided so as to protrude forward from a rear end portion of the notch portion, and a second overlapping portion provided so as to protrude rearward from a front end portion of the notch portion and to cover the first overlapping portion from the outside so as to overlap with at least a portion of the first overlapping portion in a front view,
The first overlapping portion is formed by folding back a portion of a material constituting the first overlapping portion at least once, and the second overlapping portion is formed by folding back a portion of a material constituting the second overlapping portion at least once,
The folded width of the second overlapping portion is longer than the folded width of the first overlapping portion.
