Claims (9)
- パックケースと、
前記パックケースの内部に収容された複数のバッテリーと、
前記バッテリーの上方に位置し、冷却水が貯蔵されたヒートシンクと、
前記ヒートシンクと前記複数のバッテリーとをそれぞれ連通させる複数の供給通路と、
前記複数の供給通路それぞれを密封し、前記バッテリーの熱暴走時に発生する熱によって溶融される複数のプラグと、
を含み、
前記バッテリーは、
金属材質からなり、前記供給通路と連通する注水口を備えるケースと、
前記ケースの内部に収容される複数の電池セルと、
前記複数の電池セルの間に配置された吸熱体と、
を含み、
前記吸熱体は、
前記電池セルで発生する熱を吸収することによって気化する液体が含浸された吸収材と、
前記吸収材を収容する外装材と、
を含み、
前記外装材は熱伝導性のパウチであり、
前記パウチは、前記吸収材に含浸された液体が気化することによって内圧が増加すると優先的に破断する脆弱部を備えており、
前記プラグは、前記パウチの脆弱部が破断する前に溶融される、バッテリーパック。 - 前記注水口は、前記吸熱体に向かって開口されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- パックケースと、
前記パックケースの内部に収容された複数のバッテリーと、
前記バッテリーの上方に位置し、冷却水が貯蔵されたヒートシンクと、
前記ヒートシンクと前記複数のバッテリーとをそれぞれ連通させる複数の供給通路と、
前記複数の供給通路それぞれを密封し、前記バッテリーの熱暴走時に発生する熱によって溶融される複数のプラグと、
を含み、
前記バッテリーは、
金属材質からなり、前記供給通路と連通する注水口を備えるケースと、
前記ケースの内部に収容される複数の電池セルと、
前記複数の電池セルの間に配置された吸熱体と、
を含み、
前記吸熱体は、
前記電池セルで発生する熱を吸収することによって気化する液体が含浸された吸収材と、
前記吸収材を収容する外装材と、
を含み、
前記外装材は熱伝導性のパウチであり、
前記パウチは、前記吸収材に含浸された液体が気化することによって内圧が増加すると優先的に破断する脆弱部を備えており、
前記ヒートシンクは、互いに独立した第1ブロックと第2ブロックとを含み、
前記複数の供給通路は、前記第1ブロックと前記複数のバッテリーそれぞれとを連通させる第1供給通路と、前記第2ブロックと前記複数のバッテリーそれぞれとを連通させる第2供給通路と、を含み、
前記複数のプラグは、前記第1供給通路をそれぞれ密封する第1プラグと、前記第2供給通路をそれぞれ密封する第2プラグと、を含み、
前記第1プラグの溶融点と第2プラグの溶融点は互いに異なる、バッテリーパック。 - 前記第1ブロックに貯蔵された液体は、水であり、
前記第1プラグの溶融点は、前記第2プラグの溶融点より低い、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記第1プラグは、前記パウチの脆弱部が破断する前に溶融される、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記第2ブロックに貯蔵された液体は、添加剤が混合された水であり、
前記添加剤は、水の表面張力を低下させる物質であるか、または消火薬剤である、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記第2プラグは、前記パウチの脆弱部が破断した後に溶融される、請求項6に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記注水口は、前記第1供給通路と連通する第1注水口と、前記第2供給通路と連通する第2注水口と、を含み、
前記第1注水口は、前記吸熱体に向かって開口されている、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記吸収材は、高吸収性ポリマーまたは高吸収性繊維を含む高吸収性マトリックスである、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
