Description
The present invention relates to a water stop device for preventing water from passing through an opening.
BACKGROUND ART A water stop device is known that is installed at the lower side of an opening inside a door frame provided in a building structure to prevent water from passing through the opening (see Patent Document 1).
Also, a water stop device is known that is installed in front of an entrance (opening) to prevent water from passing through the entrance (see Patent Document 2).
However, the water stop device disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a lower seal on the lower end surface of a water stop plate as a water stop member. However, because the water stop plate is simply installed so that the lower seal on the lower end surface of the water stop plate comes into contact with the lower inner surface of the door frame (the installation surface of the water stop plate), the lower seal between the lower end surface of the water stop plate and the lower inner surface of the door frame cannot be sufficiently compressed, and there is a possibility that the watertightness between the lower end surface of the water stop plate and the lower inner surface of the door frame cannot be maintained satisfactorily.
Furthermore, the water stop device disclosed in Patent Document 2 is equipped with a T-handle that compresses the packing between the lower end surface of the water stop and the passage (the installation surface of the water stop) by pressing downward on the upper part of the water stop plate as a water stop member. However, since the T-handle only presses downward on the upper parts of the left and right ends of the water stop plate, it is not possible to sufficiently compress the packing between the lower end surface of the water stop plate and the passage at the center between the left and right sides of the water stop plate, and there is a possibility that the watertight performance between the lower end surface of the water stop plate and the passage cannot be maintained satisfactorily.
That is, conventional water stopping devices have the problem that it may not be possible to maintain good watertightness between the lower end surface of the water stopping plate as a water stopping member and the installation surface of the water stopping plate.
To solve the above problems, the present invention provides a watertight device that can maintain good watertightness between the bottom end surface of a watertight member and the installation surface of the watertight member.

The left-side engaging portion 6 is provided so as to extend from the left end surface 22 of the water-stopping member 2. In other words, the left-side engaging portion 6 is formed by a flat plate provided so as to extend to the left from the front edge of the left plate portion 2b, and is a portion that engages with the door stop 16 on the left side of the door frame 10.
The right-side engaging portion 7 is provided so as to extend from the right end surface 23 of the water-stopping member 2. In other words, the right-side engaging portion 7 is formed by a flat plate provided so as to extend to the right from the front edge of the right plate portion 2c, and is a portion that engages with the door stop 17 on the right side of the door frame 10.
The lower locking portion 8 is provided so as to extend from the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2. In other words, the lower locking portion 8 is formed by a flat plate provided so as to extend downward from the front end edge of the lower plate portion 2d, and is a portion that locks onto the door stop 18 on the lower side of the door frame 10.
The water-stopping member 2 is formed so that, for example, the wall surfaces 21a and 21b of the wall panel portion 2a are perpendicular to the plate surfaces of the left panel portion 2b, right panel portion 2c, lower panel portion 2d, and upper panel portion 2e; the plate surface of the left panel portion 2b is perpendicular to the plate surface of the left-side engaging portion 6; the plate surface of the right panel portion 2c is perpendicular to the plate surface of the right-side engaging portion 7; and the plate surface of the lower panel portion 2d is perpendicular to the plate surface of the lower engaging portion 8.
The force receiving portion 4 is provided at the lower end of the water-stopping member 2 so that when the water-stopping member 2 is installed to block the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, it has an upper surface 41 that slopes downward toward the front (outdoor side).
Specifically, when the water-stopping member 2 is installed so as to block the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, the force-receiving portion 4 is composed of a plate extending from the lower end of the lower engaging portion 8, which is the lower end of the water-stopping member 2, i.e., a force-receiving plate having an upper plate surface (upper surface) 41 formed on an inclined surface that extends downward from the lower end of the front surface (outdoor surface) 81 of the lower engaging portion 8 toward the front side (outdoor side).
That is, the force receiving portion 4 is formed by a force receiving plate that is provided so as to extend obliquely downward toward the front from the lower end of the lower locking portion 8 that is provided continuously between the front lower end of the left plate portion 2b and the front lower end of the right plate portion 2c. In other words, the force receiving portion 4 is formed by a force receiving plate that is provided continuously across the left and right width of the wall plate portion 2a of the water-stopping member 2 and whose upper surface 41 is formed as an inclined surface that slopes obliquely downward toward the front.
The force receiving portion 4 may be provided so as to extend from at least the lower end side of the lower engaging portion 8 .
The waterproofing member 2 is formed of, for example, a metal plate such as a steel plate or an aluminum plate, or a synthetic resin plate.
The manufacturing method of the water-stopping member 2 is not particularly limited, but for example, the water-stopping member 2 can be manufactured by forming an expanded plate of each of the wall panel portion 2a, left panel portion 2b, right panel portion 2c, lower panel portion 2d, left side engaging portion 6, right side engaging portion 7, lower side engaging portion 8, and force receiving portion 4, and then bending the boundaries of each portion.
Furthermore, at least some of the wall panel portion 2a, left panel portion 2b, right panel portion 2c, lower panel portion 2d, left locking portion 6, right locking portion 7, lower locking portion 8, and force receiving portion 4 may be made separately, and the water-stopping member 2 may be manufactured by combining the separately made parts.
The watertightness maintaining means 3 is configured to be continuously provided over the left end face 22, bottom end face 24, right end face 23 of the water-stopping member 2, and the left end side, bottom end side, and right end side of the wall surface 21b (wall surface located on the indoor side) of the wall panel portion 2a, which is a surface continuous with the left end face 22, bottom end face 24, and right end face 23 of the water-stopping member 2.
In this case, the watertightness maintaining means 3 is, for example, a long plate-like watertightness maintaining means 3 having a length dimension that extends from the upper end of the left end face 22 of the water-stopping member 2 through the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23 to the upper end of the right end face 23, and a width dimension that is sufficient to cover the end faces (left end face 22, lower end face 24, right end face 23) of the water-stopping member 2 and the end sides (left end side, lower end side, right end side) of the wall face 21b of the wall panel portion 2a.
Then, by attaching one plate surface of the plate-shaped watertightness maintaining means 3 to the end faces (left end face 22, lower end face 24, right end face 23) of the waterstopping member 2 and the end sides (left end side, lower end side, right end side) of the wall surface 21b of the wall panel portion 2a using an attachment means such as double-sided adhesive tape or adhesive, as shown in Figure 4, a waterstopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is formed, in which the watertightness maintaining means 3 is continuously provided over the left end face 22, lower end face 24, right end face 23 of the waterstopping member 2 and the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a.
That is, the watertightness maintaining means 2A is configured by attaching one plate surface of the watertightness maintaining means 3, which is formed in the shape of a long plate of a predetermined thickness and has a length dimension that extends from the upper end side (e.g., the upper end or near the upper end) of the left end surface 22 of the watertightness maintaining member 2 via the left end surface 22, the lower end surface 24, and the right end surface 23 to the upper end (e.g., the upper end or near the upper end) of the right end surface 23, and a width dimension that is capable of covering the left end surface 22, the lower end surface 24, and the right end surface 23 of the watertightness maintaining member 2 and the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a, to the left end surface 22, lower end surface 24, and right end surface 23 of the watertightness maintaining member 2, and the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a.
The watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is configured such that the left-to-right dimension between the left end face 22 and the right end face 23 of the watertight member 2 is slightly smaller than the left-to-right dimension between the left inner surface 12 and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10, and the left-to-right dimension between the outer surface (the other plate surface) of the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the left end face 22 of the watertight member 2 and the outer surface (the other plate surface) of the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the right end face 23 of the watertight member 2 is slightly larger than the left-to-right dimension between the left inner surface 12 and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10.
Therefore, when installing the watertightness maintaining means 2A on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the left end face 22 of the watertightness member 2 is pressed against the left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10, and the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the right end face 23 of the watertightness member 2 is pressed against the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10, thereby fitting the watertightness maintaining means 2A into the opening 11, and then pressing the watertightness maintaining means 2A downward, thereby easily installing the watertightness maintaining means 2A on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10.
Furthermore, the front-to-rear width dimensions of the left end face 22, right end face 23, and bottom end face 24 of the water-stopping member 2 with watertightness maintaining means are set to dimensions larger than the plate thickness dimensions of the plates that form these end faces, making the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means easy to stand on its own when installed.
Furthermore, the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be maintained in a self-standing state due to the frictional force between the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the left end surface 22 of the watertight member 2 and the left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10, and the frictional force between the watertightness maintaining means 3 provided on the right end surface 23 of the watertight member 2 and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10, making installation work easier.
As described above, according to the first embodiment, it is possible to provide a water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means that is easy to install.
Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4, when the watertightness maintaining means 3 is continuously provided on the left end face 22, bottom end face 24, right end face 23 of the waterstop member 2, and the left end side, bottom end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a, the waterstop member 2A with watertightness maintaining means that covers the corner a of the waterstop member 2 can be efficiently manufactured.
In addition, angle a is the boundary angle between the left end face 22 and the lower end face 24 of the water-stopping member 2, the boundary angle between the right end face 23 and the lower end face 24 of the water-stopping member 2, and the boundary angle between the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23 of the water-stopping member 2 and the wall surface 21b of the wall panel portion 2a (see Figure 3).
For example, if individual watertightness maintaining means 3, 3... corresponding to each of the left end face 22, bottom end face 24, right end face 23 of the watertight member 2 and the left end side, bottom end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a are prepared and the watertightness maintaining means 3 is attached individually to each of these parts to create a watertight member with watertightness maintaining means, the process of manufacturing the watertight member with watertightness maintaining means will require the work of attaching the watertightness maintaining means 3 individually, which will reduce the production efficiency of the watertight member with watertightness maintaining means.
Furthermore, since each individual watertightness maintaining means 3, 3... is adhered separately to each part, the adhesive area of each individual watertightness maintaining means 3, 3... becomes smaller, making each individual watertightness maintaining means 3, 3... more likely to peel off, which may result in a decrease in watertightness performance or increase the possibility that the corners a of the watertight member 2 will be exposed when the watertight member 2 is installed, damaging the left inner surface 12, right inner surface 13 and lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10.
On the other hand, according to the embodiment, the watertightness maintaining means 3 is continuously provided on the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, the right end face 23 of the watertight member 2, and the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a, resulting in a watertightness maintaining member 2A with watertightness maintaining means, which can improve the productivity of the watertightness maintaining member 2A with watertightness maintaining means.
In addition, since the adhesive area of the watertightness maintaining means 3 on the surface of the watertight member 2 can be increased, the watertightness maintaining means 3 is less likely to peel off, and a watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be provided that can suppress a decrease in watertightness performance.
Furthermore, since a watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be constructed in a state in which the watertightness maintaining means 3 covers the corner a of the watertight member 2, a watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be provided that can prevent a decrease in watertightness performance and damage to the left inner surface 12, right inner surface 13, and lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10.
As shown in Figure 4, when the watertightness maintaining means 3 is configured to be continuously provided over the left end face 22, lower end face 24, and right end face 23 of the watertightness member 2, and the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall surface (indoor side wall surface) 21b of the wall panel portion 2a, the outer surfaces of the watertightness maintaining means 3 covering the outside of the boundary between the left end face 22 and lower end face 24 of the watertightness member 2 and the outside of the boundary between the right end face 23 and lower end face 24 of the watertightness member 2 become curved surfaces 3R, 3R.
Therefore, spaces 5S, 5S are created between the boundary between the left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10 (left surface of the opening 11) and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 (lower surface of the opening 11) and the left curved surface 3R, and between the boundary between the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10 (right surface of the opening 11) and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 (lower surface of the opening 11) and the curved surface 3R (see Figure 8).
Therefore, as shown in Figure 5, after installing the watertightness maintaining means 5 on the opening 11 side near the boundary between the right inner surface 13 and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 facing the boundary between the right end surface 23 and the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2, and near the boundary between the left inner surface 12 and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 facing the boundary between the left end surface 22 and the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2, i.e., at the lower left and right corners of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, a watertightness maintaining means 5 is installed on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10 as shown in Figures 5 and 6, and then the door 9 is closed.
As a result, the left and right curved surfaces 3R, 3R at the bottom of the watertightness maintaining means 3 of the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means and the watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 on the opening 11 side installed on the left and right end sides of the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 (the lower left and right corner portions of the opening 11) are crushed together and come into a tight contact state (see Figure 8), and the space 5S is maintained in a watertight state by the opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5, making it possible to form a water-stopping device 1 that can prevent water from passing through the opening 11.
In other words, by installing the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means so that the left end face 22, lower end face 24, and right end face 23 of the water-stopping member 2 face the left face, lower face, and right face of the opening 11 (left inner face 12, lower inner face 14, and right inner face 13 of the door frame 10), and so that the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5 between the lower end face 24 of the water-stopping member 2 and the lower face of the opening 11, between the left end face 22 of the water-stopping member 2 and the left face of the opening 11, and between the right end face 23 of the water-stopping member 2 and the right face of the opening 11 are maintained in a watertight state, a water-stopping device 1 can be constructed that can prevent water from passing through the opening 11.
The watertightness maintaining means 3 on the water-stopping member side and the watertightness maintaining means 5 on the opening side may be, for example, a rubber sealing material such as a rubber sponge made from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber), or a sealing material with water swelling properties, but sealing materials made from other materials may also be used.
As shown in Figure 8, in order to ensure that the left and right curved surfaces 3R, 3R at the bottom of the watertightness maintaining means 3 of the waterstop device 1 and the opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 installed on the left and right ends of the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 are crushed together and form a tight fit, it is preferable to use, for example, a semi-closed, semi-open-cell foamed EPDM sealing material as the watertightness maintaining means 3 on the waterstop member side and the opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5, in which a foaming agent is blended into rubber and the rubber is formed into a porous structure by gas produced by thermal decomposition of the foaming agent.
Figures 6, 7, and 8 show the watertight device 1 configured by installing watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 on the lower left and right corners of the opening 11 of the door frame 10 and then installing them to close the lower side of the opening 11. Note that Figure 7 shows an example of a door frame 10 in which an anti-slip member 14a (e.g., an anti-slip member with an uneven (wave-shaped) upper surface) is installed on the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10. Furthermore, in the cross-sectional view of Figure 7, hatching has been omitted for parts other than the watertight device 1, i.e., the cross-sectional portions of the door 9 and door frame 10.
An example of a method for constructing the waterproofing device 1 will be described below with reference to FIGS.
First, the watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 on the opening side are installed at the left and right corners of the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10 (see FIG. 5).
Thereafter, the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in a predetermined state below the opening 11 so that the front surface 81 of the lower locking portion 8 forms a vertical surface. For example, the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is fitted between the left inner surface 12 and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10, the left locking portion 6 of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is engaged with the left door stop 16 of the door frame 10, and the right locking portion 7 of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is engaged with the right door stop 17 of the door frame 10, and then the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is pushed downward so that the lower locking portion 8 of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is engaged with the lower door stop 18 of the door frame 10. In other words, the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed on the lower side of the opening 11 so that it blocks the lower side of the opening 11, the front surface 81 of the lower engaging portion 8 forms a vertical surface, and the upper surface (upper plate surface) 41 of the force receiving portion 4 forms an inclined surface that slopes downward toward the front side (the outdoor side (the side where the door 9 opens and closes)).
As described above, when the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in a specified state on the lower side of the opening 11, the angle α between the upper surface (inclined surface) 41 of the force receiving portion 4 and the front surface (vertical surface) 81 of the lower engaging portion 8 is configured to be greater than 90 degrees (see the enlarged view of part A in Figure 7).
The angle α may be, for example, about 91 to 100 degrees, but is more preferably set to about 92 to 95 degrees.
After the waterproof member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in a predetermined state on the lower side of the opening 11, the door 9 is closed.
In the process of closing the door 9, a lower end portion 93 of the door surface 92 on the indoor side of the door 9 comes into contact with the upper plate surface 41 of the force receiving portion 4 and presses the upper plate surface 41 downward (see FIG. 7).
In other words, when the door 9 is closed with the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means installed in a predetermined state on the lower side of the opening 11 (when the latch 96 of the door knob 95 in Figure 1 engages with the latch receiver 97), the force receiving portion 4 provided on the lower end side of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is pushed down by the force from the door 9, and the lower end surface 24 of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means moves downward.
As a result, the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5 maintain a watertight state between the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2 and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 (the installation surface of the water-stopping member 2), improving the watertightness performance between the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2 and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10, and the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5 between the left end surface 22 of the water-stopping member 2 and the left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10, and the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5 between the right end surface 23 of the water-stopping member 2 and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10 are maintained in a watertight state, resulting in a water-stopping device 1 that can prevent water from passing through the opening 11.
In other words, a watertight device 1 is constructed in which the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5 are maintained in a watertight state between the lower end surface 24 of the watertight member 2 installed to block the opening 11 and the lower surface of the opening 11, between the left end surface 22 of the watertight member 2 and the left surface of the opening 11, and between the right end surface 23 of the watertight member 2 and the right surface of the opening 11.
7, the door surface 92 on the indoor side of the door 9 comes into contact with or is close to the front surface 81 of the lower retaining plate 8 of the water-stopping member 2, the front surface 61 of the left retaining plate 6, and the front surface 71 of the right retaining plate 7, so that the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is prevented from tipping forward (towards the outdoors), and the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is maintained in a state where it is installed on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, so that the left and right curved surfaces 3R, 3R of the lower part of the watertightness maintaining means 3 of the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means and the watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 installed on the left and right ends of the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 are crushed and come into close contact with each other, so that the space 5S is maintained in a watertight state by the opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5, and a water-stopping device 1 is formed which can prevent water from passing through, as shown in FIG.
Therefore, when water rushes in from the front side (outdoor side) of the water stopping device 1 that is installed in the desired state so as to block the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, it becomes possible to prevent water from entering the rear side (indoor side) of the water stopping device 1.
That is, according to the water stop device 1 of the first embodiment, the opening is an opening 11 inside a door frame 10 to which a hinged door 9 is attached so as to be able to open and close freely, and the water stop member 2 comprises a lower plate portion 2d forming a lower end surface 24 facing a lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 which is the lower surface of the opening 11, a left plate portion 2b forming a left end surface 22 facing a left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10 which is the left surface of the opening 11, a right plate portion 2c forming a right end surface 23 facing a right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10 which is the right surface of the opening 11, and a rear end edge of the lower plate portion 2d and a rear end edge of the left plate portion 2b. the right plate portion 2c and the right side of the door frame 10; a recess 2U formed by the wall plate portion 2a, the left plate portion 2b, the right plate portion 2c and the bottom plate portion 2d; a lower locking portion 8 extending from the front edge of the bottom plate portion 2d and locking onto a door stop 18 on the lower side of the door frame 10; a left locking portion 6 extending from the front edge of the left plate portion 2b and locking onto a door stop 16 on the left side of the door frame 10; a right locking portion 7 extending from the front edge of the right plate portion 2c and locking onto a door stop 17 on the right side of the door frame 10; and a force receiving portion 4 extending forward from the lower end side of the lower locking portion 8.
In addition, the watertightness maintaining means is composed of a watertightness maintaining means 3 on the watertight member side provided on the watertight member 2 and opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 provided on the opening 11, and the watertightness maintaining means 3 on the watertight member side is provided continuously across the left end face 22, lower end face 24, and right end face 23 of the watertight member 3, and the opening-side watertightness maintaining means 5 is configured to be provided on the left and right end sides of the lower surface of the opening 11 (the lower left and right corner portions of the opening 11 of the door frame 10).
When the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in a predetermined state on the lower side of the opening 11 and the door 9 is closed, the force receiving portion 4 is pushed down by the force from the door 9, and the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5, 5 between the lower end surface 24 of the watertight member 2 in the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means and the lower inner surface (lower surface of the opening 11) 14 of the door frame 10 are maintained in a watertight state, thereby forming a watertight device 1 that can improve the watertightness performance between the lower end surface 24 of the watertight member 2 in the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means and the lower inner surface (lower surface of the opening 11 (installation surface of the watertight member 2)) 14 of the door frame 10.
Furthermore, if the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is not installed in the specified state on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10, the door surface 92 on the indoor side of the door 9 will collide with the front end 4t of the force receiving portion 4 when the door 9 is attempted to be closed, and therefore the force receiving portion 4 also functions as an inspection device for determining whether the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is correctly installed in the specified state on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10.
Therefore, if the indoor door surface 92 of the door 9 collides with the front end 4t of the force receiving portion 4, the installation state of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be checked, and the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means can be correctly reinstalled in the specified state before closing the door 9, thereby ensuring that the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in the desired state, and thereby making it possible to configure a watertight device 1 that can improve the watertightness performance between the lower end surface 24 of the watertight member 2 and the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10 (installation surface of the watertight member 2).
In addition, in embodiment 1, when the watertightness maintaining means 2A is attached to the opening 11 of the door frame 10, the watertightness maintaining means 3 comes into contact with the left inner surface 12, right inner surface 13, and lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10, making it less likely to damage the door frame 10.
Furthermore, in embodiment 1, the left-side locking portion 6, the right-side locking portion 7, and the lower locking portion 8 of the water-stopping member 2 are in direct contact with the door stops 16, 17, and 18 of the door frame 10, and there are no components between the left-side locking portion 6, the right-side locking portion 7, and the lower locking portion 8 and the door stops 16, 17, and 18 of the door frame 10. This reduces the risk that the door 9 will not be able to be placed in its original closed state, which will interfere with the original functions of the door, such as the opening and closing operations and locking operations of the door 9. This makes it possible to provide a water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means that is less likely to impair the original functions of the door 9.
In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, a water-stopping member 2A with water-tightness maintaining means is illustrated in which the water-tightness maintaining means 3 is continuously provided over the left end surface 22, bottom end surface 24, and right end surface 23 of the water-stopping member 2, and over the left end side, bottom end side, and right end side of the wall surface 21b of the wall panel portion 2a. However, the water-stopping member 2 may also be configured so that the water-tightness maintaining means 3 is individually provided at each of these portions of the water-stopping member 2.
It is also possible to use a waterstop member with watertightness maintaining means in which the watertightness maintaining means 3 is provided continuously over the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23 of the waterstop member 2, or a waterstop member with watertightness maintaining means in which the watertightness maintaining means 3 is provided individually at each of the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23 of the waterstop member 2. In other words, it is preferable to provide the watertightness maintaining means 3 in the portions covering the left end side, lower end side, and right end side of the wall face 21b of the wall panel portion 2a, but it is not necessary to provide them.
In this case, the watertightness maintaining means 3 is, for example, a watertightness maintaining means 3 formed in the shape of a long plate of a predetermined thickness having a length dimension that extends from the upper end of the left end face 22 of the water-stopping member 2, through the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23, to the upper end of the right end face 23.
In other words, in this case, the watertight member with watertightness maintaining means is constructed by attaching one plate surface of the watertightness maintaining means 3, which is formed in the shape of a long plate of a predetermined thickness and has a length dimension extending from the upper end side (e.g., the upper end or near the upper end) of the left end face 22 of the watertight member 2, via the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23, to the upper end side (e.g., the upper end or near the upper end) of the right end face 23, to the left end face 22, the lower end face 24, and the right end face 23 of the watertight member 2.
That is, a watertight member with watertightness maintaining means may be used in which the watertightness maintaining means 3 is provided continuously over the left end face 22, the lower end face 24 and the right end face 23 of the watertight member 2.
In addition, in embodiment 1, a watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 is pre-installed on the left and right end sides of the underside of the opening 11 (the left and right corner portions of the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10) is exemplified, but the watertightness maintaining means may also be configured as a watertightness maintaining means configured by a watertightness maintaining member 2A with watertightness maintaining means, in which watertightness maintaining means 5 having a shape corresponding to the above-mentioned space 5S are attached to the left and right curved surfaces 3R, 3R of the lower part of the watertightness maintaining means 3 of the watertightness maintaining member 2A with watertightness maintaining means.
Furthermore, as described above, when a watertight member with watertightness maintaining means is constructed in which watertightness maintaining means 3 is provided individually at each portion of the watertight member 2, a watertight device may also be constructed using a watertight member with watertightness maintaining means configured to provide watertightness maintaining means 5 in the portion of the watertight member with watertightness maintaining means corresponding to the space 5S.
In addition, instead of using a watertight member with a watertightness maintaining means, a watertightness maintaining member may be installed in advance on the lower inner surface 14 of the door frame 10, which forms the underside of the opening 11, the left inner surface 12 of the door frame 10, which forms the left surface of the opening 11, and the right inner surface 13 of the door frame 10, which forms the right surface of the opening 11, and then the above-mentioned watertight member 2 may be installed in the desired position on the lower side of the opening 11 of the door frame 10.
Furthermore, in embodiment 1, when the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means is installed in a predetermined state on the lower side of the opening 11 so that the front surface 81 of the lower engaging portion 8 of the watertight member 2A with watertightness maintaining means forms a vertical surface, the upper surface 41 of the force receiving portion 4 is configured as an inclined surface that extends downward and forward from the lower end of the lower engaging portion 8, and the angle α between the front surface 81 of the lower engaging portion 8 and the upper surface 41 of the force receiving portion 4 satisfies 90° < α < 100°, but the upper surface 41 of the force receiving portion 4 may also be configured as a surface that extends forward from the lower end of the lower engaging portion 8, for example, a horizontal surface.
Even in this case, if the lower end 93 of the closed door 9 is set in a state in which it is in contact with the upper surface 41 of the force receiving portion 4, the force receiving portion 4 will be maintained in a pressed-down state by the force from the door 9, and the watertightness maintaining means 3, 5, 5 between the lower end surface 24 of the water-stopping member 2 and the lower surface 14 of the opening 11 (the lower inner surface of the door frame 10 (the installation surface of the water-stopping member 2)) will be maintained in a watertight state, thereby achieving the same effect as in embodiment 1.
Embodiment 2
In the first embodiment, the water stopping device 1 is used to block the lower side of the opening 11 inside the door frame 10 of a swing door 9 installed in a building structure, but the configuration of the water stopping device of the present invention can also be applied to water stopping devices that block openings other than swing doors, such as the inside opening in the door frame of a sliding door (such as a sliding entrance door or an automatic door), the opening between the left and right guide rails of a shutter device, an opening that constitutes an entrance or exit of a gate or fence, or other openings to prevent the passage of water. In other words, the opening that can be blocked by the water stopping device of the present invention to prevent the passage of water may be any opening that has a left side, a right side, and a bottom side.
For example, after the water-stopping member 2A with watertightness maintaining means described in the first embodiment is installed in a predetermined state on the lower side of an opening other than the above-mentioned hinged door type, a door-like member may be provided in place of the door that presses downward on the force receiving portion 4 of the water-stopping member 2A. As in the first embodiment, it is preferable to install watertightness maintaining means 5, 5 in advance on the left and right ends of the lower surface of the opening (the left and right corners on the lower side of the opening).
In this case, the door-like member may be attached to the frame, support posts, or other attachment portions positioned on the left and right sides of the opening using hinges or the like so that it can rotate in the same manner as the door 9.
The door-like member may also be fixed non-rotatably to fixed portions such as frames or supports positioned on the left and right of the opening. In this case, the force receiving portion of the waterstop member 2A with watertightness maintaining means may be, for example, a force receiving portion formed so that the upper surface is horizontal when the waterstop member 2A is installed on an installation surface, and the door-like member described above may be placed on the upper surface of the force receiving portion and pressed downward, after which the door-like member may be fixed to the fixed portion.
In this way, as in the first embodiment, the watertightness between the lower end surface of the water-stopping member 2 and the lower surface of the opening (the installation surface of the water-stopping member) can be improved.
Furthermore, for example, as in Patent Document 2, when constructing a water-stopping device that is installed, for example, at the front of the lower side of an opening other than a hinged door type opening to prevent water from passing through the opening, a force-receiving portion is provided that extends forward from the lower edge of the front surface of the water-stopping member, and the above-mentioned door-shaped member is placed on the upper surface of the force-receiving portion and pressed downward, and then the door-shaped member is fixed so that it cannot rotate to fixed portions such as frames or pillars positioned on the left and right sides of the opening.
In this way, as in the first embodiment, the watertightness between the lower end surface of the water-stopping member and the installation surface of the water-stopping member can be improved.
In this case, the water-stopping member may be configured to include, for example, a wall panel portion formed in the shape of a simple flat plate without any recess, surrounded by the above-mentioned wall panel portion 2a, left panel portion 2b, right panel portion 2c, lower panel portion 2d, and upper panel portion 2e, and a force-receiving portion formed to extend from the lower end of the wall panel portion perpendicular to the panel surface of the wall panel portion and have an upper surface that is a horizontal plane.
In this way, according to each embodiment, the water-stopping member and watertightness maintaining means can form a water-stopping device that can prevent water from entering behind the water-stopping member (indoor side).
In other words, the waterstop device of the present invention, which is installed to close an opening, comprises a waterstop member installed on the installation surface and watertightness maintaining means provided between the lower end surface of the waterstop member and the installation surface, and the waterstop member is configured to have a force-receiving portion on its lower end side that receives the force required to maintain the watertightness maintaining means provided between the lower end surface of the waterstop member and the installation surface in a watertight state. This configuration makes it possible to provide a waterstop device that can improve the watertightness performance between the lower end surface of the waterstop member and the installation surface of the waterstop member.
In each embodiment, an example has been shown in which the force-receiving portion is provided continuously along the left-right width direction of the water-stopping member, but the force-receiving portion may be configured to be one at the center of the left-right width direction of the water-stopping member, or multiple portions may be provided intermittently along the left-right width direction of the water-stopping member.
