ナットやボルト頭部等の被回転体をその外周面と被回転体対向内周面とが対向する状態で収容する被回転体収容部を有すると共に、前記被回転体対向内周面と垂直な方向に対して傾斜するよう延びたガイド溝部を有するヘッド部を備え、前記ガイド溝部には弾性体によって押されて先端が前記被回転体収容部に突出し前記被回転体の外周面に係合する係合ツメを設け、ヘッド部を回転させた際、前記係合ツメによって前記被回転体をロックして前記被回転体を回転させるように構成したラチェットレンチであって、
使用者の操作によって前記ヘッド部に対し動いて前記被回転体を保持する被回転体保持部を設け
前記ガイド溝部は、少なくとも前記ヘッド部の表側および裏側のいずれか一方側が開放して設けられており、
前記被回転体保持部は、少なくとも前記ガイド溝部の開放した前記ヘッド部の表側および裏側のいずれか一方側を覆うと共に、前記ヘッド部に対しスライド可能に設けられ、使用者の操作によって前記ヘッド部に対しスライドすることによりその一部分が前記被回転体対向内周面より突出して前記被回転体を保持するスライドカバーであることを特徴とするラチェットレンチ。
