Description

The present invention relates to a mount with a hanger that allows shirts to be sold by hanging them in a folded state on a display fixture such as a clothes rack or wall hook.

Traditionally, clothing such as dress shirts have been transported and stored folded on a backing sheet to prevent them from losing their shape and to make it easier to see how they look when worn, and they have typically been displayed and sold in that state.

In addition, when exhibiting or selling products, they are not limited to being displayed in a folded state by stacking them flat on a shelf; it is also common to display them by hanging them from display fixtures using hangers, a so-called hanging display. Examples of mounts with hangers suitable for hanging displays include those disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Laid-Open Publication No. 7-014966 (Patent Document 1) and Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. 10-295506 (Patent Document 2).

While using these conventional mounts makes it possible to hang and display clothing in a neat and tidy package, there are many problems.

In other words, if the mount body and the hanging hook were separate entities, as in the prior art described in Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2, and the hanging hook were attached to the mount body by fastening with grommets, engaging with slits, or inserting an engaging portion, this structure would concentrate force in a thin area, which could cause damage if a strong force was applied, resulting in a defective product.

The objective of this invention is to provide a mount with hangers for selling shirts by hanging them folded from display fixtures such as hanger racks and wall hooks, which allows for beautiful display while preventing damage to the hanging members.

The present invention, which has been made to solve the above problems, is a mount with a hanger, which comprises a mount body and a hanging member,

According to the above invention, the hanging member is inserted into the insertion slit in the mount body and bent around the hinge portion as an axis. This distributes the force using the insertion slit as a fulcrum, eliminating the risk of damage to the hanging member or the mount body even if a strong downward force is applied. Furthermore, the collar stays, located on the opposite side of the hanging member from the hook portion, are attached to the collar of the clothing, and the collar stays can hold the collar of the clothing in a predetermined position, resulting in a very attractive appearance when displayed hanging.

In addition, by bending the hanging member around the hinge portion as an axis, it is possible to switch between a state in which the hook portion protrudes from the top edge of the mount body and a state in which the hook portion does not protrude from the top edge of the mount body.This means that when transporting or storing the product, the hook portion can be stored in a state in which it does not protrude from the top edge of the mount body, allowing it to be transported and stored in a space-saving manner without getting in the way.

Furthermore, if the width of the insertion slit is narrower than the width of the collar stay, it is possible to prevent the hanging member from accidentally slipping out of the insertion slit, making it extremely convenient to handle.

Furthermore, when the hem holder consists of multiple hem holding holes formed in parallel in the vertical direction on the backing body, the hem of the garment can be held simply by passing the hem through the hem holding holes in succession, which has the advantage of being simple in structure and easy to use.

Furthermore, when the hanging member is made up of two separable and connectable components, a collar stay component that constitutes the collar stay portion and a hook component that constitutes the hook portion, it becomes possible to select and combine a collar stay with a shape that suits the garment, and to improve the strength of the material that constitutes the hook component compared to the collar stay component, thereby increasing manufacturing flexibility.

Furthermore, if the hanging member has a clip portion formed by a notch that can engage the upper edge of the mount body, the hanging member and the mount body can be tightly engaged at the top, allowing the mount body to be hung in an upright position without tilting forward, resulting in a beautiful appearance and increased durability due to the distribution of the load.

Furthermore, if the hinge portion is provided with a reinforcing means, it can be more reliably prevented from breaking, making it less likely to break even if the number of times it is bent increases.

Furthermore, when both the mount body and the hanging member are made of cardboard, the entire product can be manufactured from paper without using synthetic resins or the like, making it easy to manufacture, readily available, and cost-effective, while also being an environmentally friendly product that meets the recent need to eliminate plastic.

The following describes an embodiment of the present invention based on the drawings.

Figures 1 to 3 show a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in these figures, the mount with hanger 1 of the present invention comprises a mount body 10 and a hanging member 20.

The mount body 10 is flat, with an insertion slit 11, a rectangular hole extending horizontally, at the top end, and a hem retaining portion 12, consisting of multiple rectangular holes extending horizontally and aligned vertically below the insertion slit 11. The outer shape, insertion slit 11, and hem retaining portion 12 are formed simultaneously by punching out cardboard.

There are three hem retention holes, namely, first hem retention hole 13, second hem retention hole 14, and third hem retention hole 15, arranged in order from the lowest hem retention hole in Figure 3. It is desirable to have two or more hem retention holes, as having multiple hem retention holes creates friction between the garment C and the base body 10, allowing for stable retention without misalignment, but the present invention can also be implemented with only one hem retention hole (not shown).

The hanging member 20 has a collar stay 21 formed at one end, a hook 22 formed at the other end, and a foldable hinge 23 formed between the collar stay 21 and the hook 22. The outer shape, collar stay 21, hook 22, and hinge 23 are formed at the same time by punching out cardboard.

In addition, a body section 24 is formed below the hook section 22. Since the body section 24 has a certain area, by printing or attaching a sticker to the surface of this body section 24, it is possible to display the clothing size, barcode, etc. in a position that is easily visible to purchasers and traders.

In this embodiment, the hanging member 20 is initially flat, but is then bent at approximately right angles around the hinge portion 23 as an axis for use.

In this embodiment, the hinge portion 23 is bendable due to the flexibility of the material itself, and is formed to be narrower than the body portion 24 to make it easier to bend. However, to make it more flexible, it may be processed by adding scores, perforations, half-cuts, etc.

Furthermore, the hinge portion 23 is reinforced to more firmly prevent breakage, making it less likely to break even if it is bent multiple times.

This reinforcement can be achieved, for example, by mechanically reinforcing the corners of the connection between the collar stay 21 and the torso 24 of the hanging member 20 by chamfering them; by reinforcing the material itself by using coated paper for the backing that makes up the hanging member 20; or by adding a separate member such as tape or film that can be attached to the hinge portion 23 of the hanging member 20. However, this is not limited to the above, and any other reinforcement means can be used.

When using reinforcement means that involve adding a separate component, it is preferable to use paper adhesive tape, which uses as little plastic as possible.

The width W1 of the insertion slit 11 formed in the mount body 10 is wider than the width W2 of the body portion 24 of the hanging member 20, but narrower than the width W3 of the collar stay 21 of the hanging member 20. Therefore, when assembling, the hook portion 22 and body portion 24 of the hanging member 20 are inserted into the insertion slit 11 from the front side of the mount body 10, and then the hanging member 20 is bent around the hinge portion 23 to connect and assemble the mount body 10 and the hanging member 20 (see Figure 3).

The length L1 between the tip of the hook portion 22 and the hinge portion 23 is longer than the length L2 between the upper edge 16 of the mount body 10 and the insertion slit 11 (see Figure 3). Therefore, after inserting the hanging member 20 into the insertion slit 11, the hanging member 20 is bent around the hinge portion 23 as an axis, so that the hook portion 22 protrudes from the upper edge 16 of the mount body 10.

In this embodiment, the collar stays 21 are wide and designed to be inserted into the collar Cc of clothing C, such as a dress shirt. By fitting the collar stays over a wide area of the collar Cc, they have a high shape retention effect. However, they may also be narrow and designed to be inserted into only a portion of the collar Cc (not shown). In this case, it is also possible to insert a narrow collar stay into the insertion slit 11 from the back side of the backing board body 10.

The cardboard that makes up the mount body 10 and the cardboard that makes up the hanging member 20 may be the same thickness, or they may be different thicknesses. For example, the cardboard that makes up the hanging member 20 may be relatively thick to improve its strength.

Next, the process for actually using the hanger-attached mount 1 of this embodiment will be explained with reference to Figures 4 to 7.

First, the garment C, such as a dress shirt, for which the hanger-attached base 1 will be used is laid out with the back side facing up (see FIG. 4(a)), and then folded vertically (see FIG. 4(b)) by folding back the left and right ends toward the center at the positions indicated by the two-dot chain lines in FIG. 4(a) and tucking in the sleeves Cs as appropriate. At this time, it is preferable that the width of the garment C folded vertically (the distance indicated by the two-dot chain lines in FIG. 4(a)) be approximately the same width as the base body 10.

Next, while placing the mount body 10 face down (with the insertion slit positioned downward) at the vertical center position of the garment C, insert the hem Ch of the garment C into the first hem holding hole 13 of the mount body 10 (see Figure 4(c)), then insert the hem Ch of the garment C into the second hem holding hole 14 of the mount body 10 (see Figure 4(d)), and then insert the hem Ch of the garment C into the third hem holding hole 15 of the mount body 10 (see Figure 4(e)).

Once the hem Ch of the garment C has been inserted into the first hem holding hole 13, the second hem holding hole 14, and the third hem holding hole 15 of the mount body 10, the excess hem Ch of the garment C protruding outward from the third hem holding hole 15 is flipped upward (see Figure 4(f)).

Next, the hem Ch of the garment C is folded back along the lower edge 17 of the mount body 10, and a portion of the hem Ch of the garment C is sandwiched behind the mount body 10 (see Figure 4(g)), and then the mount body 10 is turned over (see Figure 4(h)).

Then, the collar stay portion 21 of the hanging member 20 is attached to the collar Cc of the garment C, and the hook portion 22 is inserted into the insertion slit 11 of the mount body 10 (see Figures 5(a) and 6).

In this case, the order in which the collar stay 21 of the hanging member 20 is attached to the collar Cc of the garment C and the order in which the hook portion 22 is inserted into the insertion slit 11 of the mount body 10 are performed can be determined based on whichever is easier.

Finally, by bending the hook portion 22 upward around the hinge portion 23 of the hanging member 20, the hook portion 22 protrudes from the upper edge 16 of the mount body 10, allowing for hanging display (see Figures 5(b) and 7).

When the garment C is folded in the above manner, its hem Ch is held securely by the hem holding section 12, which consists of the first hem holding hole 13, second hem holding hole 14, and third hem holding hole 15. In addition, friction also acts to prevent slippage at the folded-over portion, which is sandwiched along the bottom edge 17 of the base body 10 and folded back. This prevents slippage.

When transporting or storing the product, the hook portion 22 can be bent downward around the hinge portion 23 of the hanging member 20, so that the hook portion 22 does not protrude from the upper edge 16 of the mount body 10, allowing for unobtrusive and space-saving transport and storage (see Figure 5(c)).

By folding the garment C to a width roughly equal to the width of the mount body 10 and folding it while holding the hem Ch in the hem holder 12 in this way, the garment C can be folded into a very compact and neat shape, making it not only easy to handle during transportation, storage, display, and sales, but also very attractive when hung and displayed (see Figure 8). In addition, since no separate parts for maintaining the shape, such as clips, are required and there is no need to worry about parts falling off, a transparent bag for protecting the product can also be omitted.

The shape of the hanging member 20 is not limited to those shown in Figures 1 to 3 above. For example, as shown in Figure 9(a), it is possible for the width of the body 26 to be narrow and approximately the same as the width of the hinge portion 23, as shown in Figure 9(b), it is also possible for the width of the hinge portion 27 to be wide and approximately the same as the width of the body 24, or it is also possible for the length of the body 28 to be short, as shown in Figure 9(c).

Figures 10 and 11 show a second embodiment of the present invention. This hanger-attached backing board 2 differs from the embodiment shown in Figure 1 in that the hanging member is made up of two components that can be separably and connectably combined: a collar stay component 30 that forms the collar stay portion 31, and a hook component 40 that forms the hook portion 41.

The collar stay part 30 consists of a wide collar stay part 31 that is inserted into the collar Cc of clothing C, such as a dress shirt, and an engagement hole 32 formed by an arc-shaped cutout that protrudes upward at the center of the collar stay part 31.

The hook component 40 consists of a hook portion 41, a body portion 42 formed below the hook portion 41, a hinge portion 43 formed below the body portion 42, a T-shaped engagement piece 44 formed below the hinge portion 43, and a reinforcing piece 45 formed below the hinge portion 43 and positioned outside the engagement piece 44. By pushing the engagement piece 44 up from the back side of the hook component 40, the engagement piece 44 stands up independently from the reinforcing piece 45, and by inserting the engagement piece 44 into the engagement hole 32 of the collar stay component 30, they engage. At the same time, the reinforcing piece 45 is positioned on the back side of the collar stay 31, and the collar stay 31 is sandwiched between the engagement piece 44 and the reinforcing piece 45.

Similar to the collar stay 21 in the perspective view of the assembled embodiment shown in Figure 3, the collar stay 31 can be rolled up to fit the shape of the collar Cc of the garment C, and because the engagement hole 32 is arc-shaped, the protrusions on both the left and right ends of the engagement piece 44 engage with the engagement hole 32 when the collar stay 31 is rolled up, making it less likely to fall off.

In this way, by constructing the hanging member as a combination of two parts that can be separated and connected, it is possible to select and combine a collar stay with a shape that suits the garment, and the strength of the material that makes up the hook part can be improved compared to the collar stay part, thereby increasing manufacturing flexibility.

In the actual use process (see Figures 4 and 5), in this embodiment, the procedure of attaching the collar stay portion 31 of the collar stay component 30 to the collar Cc of the garment C and the procedure of inserting the hook portion 41 into the insertion slit 11 of the mount body 10 can be performed in either order. Furthermore, the collar stay component 30 can be attached to the collar Cc of the garment C in advance, and the engagement piece 44 and reinforcing piece 45 of the hook component 40 inserted into the insertion slit 11 can be protruded from the back surface of the mount body 10 and inserted into the engagement hole 32 of the collar stay component 30 to assemble the hanging member.

Figures 12 and 13 show a third embodiment of the present invention. This hanger-attached mount 3 differs from the hanger-attached mount 1 of the first embodiment of the present invention shown in Figure 1 above in the shape of the mount body 50 and the hanging member 60.

The mount body 50 is flat and has an insertion slit 51, which is a rectangular hole extending horizontally, at its upper end. Below the insertion slit 51, a hem retaining portion 52 is formed, consisting of three rectangular holes extending horizontally and aligned vertically: first hem retaining hole 53, second hem retaining hole 54, and third hem retaining hole 55. The outer shape, insertion slit 51, and hem retaining portion 52 are formed simultaneously by punching out cardboard, which is the same as the previous embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the length L3 between the upper edge 56 and the insertion slit 51 is longer than the length L2 between the upper edge 16 of the mount body 10 and the insertion slit 11.

The hanging member 60 has a collar stay 61 formed at one end, a hook 62 formed at the other end, a foldable hinge 63 formed between the collar stay 61 and the hook 62, and a body 64 formed below the hook 62. The outer shape, collar stay 61, hook 62, hinge 63, and body 64 are all formed simultaneously by punching out cardboard, which is the same as the previous embodiment. However, in this embodiment, a clip 65 that can be attached to the upper edge 56 of the backing board body 50 is formed by a notch in the body 64.

In this embodiment, the upper edge 56 of the mount body 50 is engaged with the clip portion 65 of the hanging member 60, allowing the mount body 50 and the hanging member 60 to be tightly assembled at the top (see Figure 13).

By combining the mount body 50 and the hanging member 60 closely at the top in this way, the mount body 50, which tends to lean forward due to the weight of the clothing C in mounts with hangers 1 and 2, can be displayed in a hanging position while maintaining an upright posture without leaning forward. This not only makes for a beautiful appearance, but also increases durability by distributing the load.

In addition, in this embodiment, because the clip portion 65 is formed on the body portion 64 of the hanging member 60, the margin area is smaller than that of the hanger-attached mount 1, making it somewhat difficult to use the body portion 64 to display information by printing or attaching a sticker.

On the other hand, in this embodiment, the margin area on both the left and right ends of the top edge 56 of the mount body 50 is larger than that of the hanger-attached mount 1, making it possible to use this area for display by printing or attaching a sticker.

Figures 14 and 15 show a fourth embodiment of the present invention. Compared to the second embodiment of the present invention shown in Figures 10 and 11, this hanger-attached base 4 is similar to the hanger-attached base 2 in that the hanging member is made up of two components, the collar stay part 30 that constitutes the collar stay part 31 and the hook component 70 that constitutes the hook part 71, which can be combined and separated; however, in this embodiment, the shape of the hook component 70 is different. The base body 50 is the same as that described for the hanger-attached base 3, so a description thereof will be omitted.

In more detail, the hook component 70 comprises a hook portion 71, a body portion 72 formed below the hook portion 71, a hinge portion 73 formed below the body portion 72, a T-shaped engagement piece 74 formed below the hinge portion 73, and a reinforcing piece 75 formed below the hinge portion 73 and positioned outside the engagement piece 74. By pushing up the engagement piece 74 from the back side of the hook component 70, the engagement piece 74 stands up independently from the reinforcing piece 75. The engagement piece 74 is inserted into the engagement hole 32 of the collar stay part 30 to engage with it, and at the same time, the reinforcing piece 75 is positioned on the back side of the collar stay part 31, clamping the collar stay part 31 between the engagement piece 74 and the reinforcing piece 75. This is similar to the hanger-attached backing board 2, but the present embodiment differs in that a clip part 76 that can be engaged with the upper edge 56 of the backing board main body 50 is formed by a notch in the body part 72.

In this embodiment, the upper edge 56 of the mount body 50 is engaged with the clip portion 76 of the hook component 70, thereby allowing the mount body 50 and the hook component 70 (hanging member) to tightly engage with each other at the top (see Figure 13).

By tightly engaging the mount body 50 and the hook component 70 (hanging member) at the top in this way, the mount body 50, which tends to lean forward due to the weight of the clothing C in mounts with hangers 1 and 2, can be displayed in a hanging position while maintaining an upright posture without leaning forward. This not only makes for a beautiful appearance, but also increases durability by distributing the load.

Furthermore, as with the mount with hanger 3, it is possible to use the margins on both the left and right ends of the upper edge 56 of the mount body 50 to display information by printing or attaching a sticker.

Note that the shapes of the mount body and hanging member in each embodiment of the present invention are not limited to those shown in the figures, and the shapes of each part, including dimensions, can be modified as appropriate depending on the shape of the clothing and the intended use.
