Description
圧密された構造にすることは、エネルギーディレクタや犠牲溶融層を使用しない限り、ほ
とんど成功しないことが証明されている。または、超音波溶接システムのアンビルコンポ
ーネントにCFRPの層が配置されている硬い表面が含まれている場合である。既知の溶
接方法では、熱可塑性プラスチックまたは熱可塑性複合材料を硬いアンビルに固定する。
ただし、これらの方法をCFRPテープ、ブレード、または事前に圧密されたプレートで
使用する場合、通常、溶接プロセスを強化するための従来のエネルギーディレクタや二次

Claims (18)
- 材料を圧密するためのシステムであって、
(a)超音波エネルギーを圧密される材料に向けるよう構成されたソノトロードであって、前記圧密される材料はガラス転移温度と融解温度の両方を有する、ソノトロードと、
(b)前記ソノトロードに近接された非剛体圧密化材料であって、前記非剛体圧密化材料と前記ソノトロードは、これらの間に前記圧密される材料を受け入れるための領域を画定する、非剛体圧密化材料と、を有し、
(c)前記非剛体圧密化材料は、前記圧密される材料のガラス転移温度よりも高いガラス転移温度と、前記圧密される材料の溶融温度よりも高い溶融温度とを有し、

- 請求項1記載のシステムにおいて、前記圧密される材料は、材料の層、材料のシート、または事前に圧密された構造として構成されるものである、システム。
- 請求項1記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、熱可塑性材料、熱硬化性材料、シリコーン、ポリアミド、ウレタン、ゴム、ガラス織シート、ガラス、炭素繊維材料、およびそれらの組み合わせを含むものである、システム。
- 請求項1記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、材料の層または材料のシートとして構成されるものである、システム。
- 請求項1記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、ショアA硬度40~100を有するものである、システム。
- 材料を圧密するためのシステムであって、
(a)ソノトロードに超音波エネルギーを提供するように構成された少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサであって、前記少なくとも1つの超音波トランスデューサは、前記ソノトロードに圧縮力と、圧密される材料の配置に対して変化する接触角を提供するように構成された連接型ハウジング内に取り付けられ、前記ソノトロードは、超音波エネルギーを前記圧密される材料に向けるように構成され、前記圧密される材料はガラス転移温度と融解温度の両方を有する、超音波トランスデューサと、
(b)前記ソノトロードに近接された非剛体圧密化材料であって、前記非剛体圧密化材料と前記ソノトロードは、これらの間に前記圧密される材料を受け入れるための領域を画定し、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、前記圧密される材料のガラス転移温度よりも高いガラス転移温度と、前記圧密される材料の溶融温度よりも高い溶融温度とを有する、非剛体圧密化材料と、
(c)前記ソノトロードの一方の側に配置された入力材料アンビル及び前記ソノトロードの他方の側に配置された出力材料アンビルであって、前記入力材料アンビル及び出力材料アンビルは、前記圧密される材料に追加の圧縮力を与えるように構成され、前記入力材料アンビル及び出力材料アンビルは、前記圧密される材料を冷却または加熱するように構成されているものである、入力材料アンビル及び出力材料アンビルと、
を有する、システム。 - 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料を支持するための剛性アンビルをさらに有する、システム。
- 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、少なくとも1つの力センサーおよび少なくとも1つの熱センサーをさらに有する、システム。
- 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、前記ソノトロードは、丸みを帯びたまたはテーパー状の面プロファイルを含み、前記ソノトロードは、所定幅の狭いコンポーネントまたは所定幅の広いコンポーネントを圧密するように構成され、前記ソノトロードは、圧密中の材料に接触するように構成された一体型の押さえ構造を含むものである、システム。
- 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、前記圧密される材料は、熱可塑性材料、熱硬化性材料、または炭素繊維強化ポリマーであり、前記圧密される材料は、材料の層、材料のシート、または事前に圧密された構造として構成されるものである、システム。
- 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、熱可塑性材料、熱硬化性材料、シリコーン、ポリアミド、ウレタン、ゴム、ガラス織シート、ガラス、炭素繊維材料、およびそれらの組み合わせを含み、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、材料の層または材料のシートとして構成されるものである、システム。
- 請求項11記載のシステムにおいて、前記非剛体圧密化材料は、ショアA硬度40~100を有するものである、システム。
- 材料を圧密するための方法であって、
(a)超音波エネルギーを圧密される材料に向け、前記圧密される材料に圧縮力を与えるようにソノトロードを構成する工程であって、前記圧密される材料はガラス転移温度と融解温度の両方を有する、構成する工程と、
(b)前記ソノトロードの一方の側に入力材料アンビルを配置し、前記ソノトロードの他方の側に出力材料アンビルを配置する工程であって、前記入力材料アンビル及び出力材料アンビルは、前記圧密される材料に圧縮力を与えるように構成され、前記入力材料アンビル及び出力材料アンビルは、前記圧密される材料を冷却または加熱するように構成されている、配置する工程と、
(c)非剛体圧密化材料を前記ソノトロードに近接して配置する工程であって、前記非剛体圧密化材料と前記ソノトロードは、これらの間に圧密される材料を受け入れるための領域を画定し、前記非剛体圧密化材料は前記圧密される材料のガラス転移温度よりも高いガラス転移温度と、前記圧密される材料の溶融温度よりも高い溶融温度とを有する、配置する工程と、
(d)前記ソノトロードを作動させ、前記ソノトロードが、前記材料を圧縮力下で且つ所定の角度で横切って移動させることによって、前記圧密される材料を結合する工程と、
