Description

The present invention relates to a flap label and a bag container, and in particular to a flap label that is attached to the surface of a bag body made of a film material to form an openable access opening for contents, and a bag container to which the flap label is attached.

A bag container made of a film material that holds wet tissues as its contents is preferably designed so that the wet tissues can be removed one by one from a dispensing opening formed in the top surface. To prevent the wet tissues from drying out through the opening, the bag container that holds the wet tissues is sealed with a sheet-like lid made of a pressure-sensitive adhesive that can be repeatedly peeled and attached. When using wet tissues, for example, the sheet-like lid is peeled off each time to open the opening and remove the wet tissues.

On the other hand, in a bag container that allows wet tissues, for example, to be taken out from an openable opening, when taking out the wet tissues, the peeled-off sheet-like opening/closing lid is lifted to open the opening. However, when lifted, the sheet-like opening/closing lid repels being bent and tries to return to its original state covering the opening, which can make it difficult to take out the wet tissues.

For this reason, packages have been developed that allow the lid to remain in the opened position when opened to remove contents such as wet wipes, making it easier to remove the contents through the open opening (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 and 2).

In the packages (bag containers) described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the sheet-like opening/closing lid that seals the access opening includes a tab, a peel-stop portion formed on the opposite side of the tab, an adhesive-fixing portion that is maintained in an adhesive state to the top surface of the package by the peel-stop portion, an adhesive-removable portion that seals and opens the access opening, and tongue portions that protrude from the adhesive-removable portion toward the adhesive-fixing portion and are formed by making cuts in the inner region of the peel-stop portion on both sides of the width. When the adhesive-removable portion and the tongue portion are peeled off from the top surface of the package, the tongue portions move along the extension of the adhesive-removable portion, and their tips come into contact with the top surface of the package, thereby functioning as a support that holds the adhesive-removable portion upright.

However, in the packaging (bag container) described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 above, which allows stored items such as wet tissues to be removed from an openably sealed access opening, the sheet-like opening/closing lid is itself made of a flexible film-like sheet material and is adhesively and releasably attached to the packaging, which is made of a flexible film material. Therefore, when the amount of stored items decreases and the film material packaging flexes or sags, the tongue portion can no longer function as a support for holding the adhesive-releasable portion upright, making it difficult to remove stored items such as wet tissues from the open access opening and also making it difficult to seal the access opening with the sheet-like opening/closing lid.

The present invention relates to a flap label and bag container that can stably keep the access opening open even when the amount of contents stored inside the bag decreases and the bag body made of film material flexes or sags, and that can stably seal the access opening when closed.

The present invention relates to a flap label made of a thin sheet material that is attached to the surface of a bag body made of a film material and forms an openable access opening for contents. The flap label includes a base label in which the access opening is formed, and a lid label that includes a flap piece that is positioned to openably cover the access opening and is positioned contiguous with the flap piece and has a joint to the base label. When the joint is joined to the base label, the flap piece of the lid label can be folded relative to the joint using a hinge portion that is positioned along the boundary line with the joint as a folding base, thereby openably covering the access opening. Furthermore, the flap piece has leg cut lines formed on at least both sides of the boundary line, offset from the boundary line toward the joint. When the flap piece is opened to stand, its edge abuts against the base label to support the standing state, and these legs extend beyond the boundary line toward the leg cut lines.

The present invention also provides a bag container in which the above-mentioned flap label is attached to the surface of a bag body made of a film material, and an openable/closable access opening is formed for contents contained inside.

With the flap label or bag container of the present invention, the access opening can be stably maintained in an open state, even if the bag body made of film material bends or sags, particularly when the amount of contents stored inside decreases, and the access opening can be stably sealed when closed.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a bag container according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention with its outlet open. FIG. 2 is a plan view of a flap label according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3(a) is a plan view of the lid label, and FIG. 3(b) is a plan view of the base label. FIG. 4 is an enlarged view of a main part of the lid label.

The bag container 10 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, shown in FIG. 1, is a bag-like product containing a pillow-shaped bag body 11 made of a film material and containing, as its contents, a plurality of folded wet tissues 31, for example. In this embodiment, the bag body 11 of the bag container 10 preferably has a substantially hexahedral three-dimensional shape with a top surface 11a, four side surfaces 11b, and a bottom surface 11c, and is configured to allow the wet tissues 31 to be removed one by one through an openable access opening 30 formed in the top surface 11a. The bag container 10 of this embodiment is equipped with a flap label 20 (see FIG. 2), which allows the access opening 30 to remain stably open even when the amount of wet tissues 31 contained therein decreases and the bag body 11 made of a film material becomes warped or slack. Furthermore, when closing the access opening 30, the access opening 30 can be stably sealed.

The flap label 20 of this embodiment is a label made of a thin sheet material that is attached to the surface of the bag body 11 made of a film material and forms an openable access opening 30 for the contents (wet tissues) 31. As shown in Figures 2 and 3(a) and (b), it includes a base label 21 in which the access opening 30 is formed, and a lid label 22 that has a flap piece 23 that is positioned to openably cover the access opening 30 and a joint 24 to the base label 21 that is positioned contiguous with the flap piece 23. With the joint 24 joined to the base label 21 (see Figure 2), the flap piece 23 of the lid label 22 can be folded relative to the joint 24 using a hinge portion 25 that is positioned along the boundary line S with the joint 24 as a folding base (see Figure 1), as shown in Figure 4, thereby openably covering the access opening 30. Furthermore, the flap piece 23 has leg cut lines 26 formed on at least both sides of the boundary line S, offset from the boundary line S toward the overlapping joint 24. When the flap piece 23 is opened and erected (see Figure 1), the end edge 27a of the leg 27 abuts against the base label 21 to support the erected state, and the leg 27 extends beyond the boundary line S toward the leg cut lines 26 (see Figures 2 and 4).

In addition, in this embodiment, the overlap joint 24 is formed with a stopper section cut line 28a that extends from the boundary line S toward the flap piece 23, and the stopper joint 28 is therefore provided protruding further toward the removal opening 30 of the base label 21 than the boundary line S (see Figure 1).

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the leg portions 27 are provided at least on the edge portions on both sides of the boundary line S, the stopper joint portion 28 is provided in the area between the leg portions 27 on both sides, and the hinge portion 25 is disposed between the leg portions 27 and the stopper joint portion 28 (see Figures 2 and 4).

Furthermore, in this embodiment, a pair of stopper joints 28 are provided on both sides of the boundary line S in the area between the leg portions 27 on both sides, and a leg portion is provided as a central leg portion 27' in the area between this pair of stopper joints 28.

In this embodiment, the bag body 11 of the bag container 10 is formed using a synthetic resin film material cut to a predetermined shape, and is preferably sealed at predetermined locations using a known method to form a hexahedral, three-dimensional shape containing multiple folded wet tissues 31. Furthermore, a dispensing opening (not shown) slightly smaller than the dispensing opening 30 is formed, preferably in the center, of the top surface 11a of the bag body 11 containing the wet tissues 31. The dispensing opening 30 of the base label 21 is overlapped with this opening, and the flap label 20 is attached integrally to the bag body 11 by bonding its peripheral edge to the film material surrounding the opening of the dispensing opening 30, preferably using a known adhesive or welding method. Note that in this embodiment, a dispensing opening slightly smaller than the dispensing opening 30 is formed in the top surface 11a of the bag body 11, but this is not limiting; the opening may be larger than the dispensing opening 30.

In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 2 and 3(a) and (b), the flap label 20 is formed by joining a base label 21 made of a thin sheet material made of synthetic resin and a lid label 22 made of a thin sheet material made of synthetic resin with portions of these labels overlapping with adhesive, welding, or the like. Examples of sheet materials include synthetic resin sheets made of polyester resins such as PET (polyethylene terephthalate), polyolefin resins such as polypropylene and polyethylene resins, sheets made of a laminate of a synthetic resin film and a metal such as aluminum, and sheets made of a synthetic resin film vapor-deposited with a metal such as aluminum. These may be used alone or in combination.

As shown in FIG. 3(b), the base label 21 is formed from a sheet material, for example, approximately 80 to 200 μm thick, preferably approximately 125 μm thick, in the shape of a thin plate, preferably having a square planar shape with rounded corners. The access opening 30 is formed in a region biased toward the tip (lower side in FIG. 3(b)) of the base label 21. The access opening 30 is slightly larger than the opening formed in the top surface 11a of the bag body 11 and preferably has a rectangular planar shape with rounded corners. The center of the edge portion 21a on the tip side of the base label 21 is provided with a recess 21b, preferably formed to recess into the center in an arc-like shape. In this embodiment, the recess 21b is preferably formed to recess into the center in an arc-like shape, but this is not limited to this. The recess may be a recess with a shape that recesses toward the center of the base label 21. In other words, the recessed portion can be rephrased as a gap that is held below the tip of the flap piece 23 when the lid portion 22 is closed.

In this embodiment, the lid label 22 is also formed using the various sheet materials described above, with a thickness of, for example, approximately 80 to 200 μm, preferably approximately 125 μm. As shown in FIG. 3(a), the lid label 22 is formed so that the area from the base end overlap joint 24 where it is joined to the base label 21 to approximately two-thirds of the tip has a planar shape similar to the corresponding area of the base label 21, while the remaining one-third of the tip is formed to have an isosceles trapezoidal planar shape that narrows toward the tip. In this embodiment, by having the remaining one-third of the tip have an isosceles trapezoidal planar shape, it is possible to reduce the amount of synthetic resin used. Note that the tip side of the lid label 22 does not necessarily have to have an isosceles trapezoidal planar shape, and may have various planar shapes corresponding to the base label 21.

As described above, the lid label 22 includes a flap piece 23 that is positioned to openably cover the access opening 30 of the base label 21, and an overlapping joint 24 that is positioned continuous with the flap piece 23 and is the base end portion that is joined to the base label 21. The flap piece 23 and overlapping joint 24 of the lid label 22 can be separated by a boundary line S, which is an imaginary dividing line that crosses the base label 21 in a straight line in the horizontal direction, and a hinge portion 25 is provided along the boundary line S defined by this imaginary dividing line as a folding base for the flap piece 23, as shown in Figure 4.

In this embodiment, leg cut lines 26 are formed on the edge of the flap piece 23 on both sides of the boundary line S, offset from the boundary line S toward the overlap joint 24. In the region between these leg cut lines 26 on both sides, a pair of stopper cut lines 28a are provided, preferably on both sides of the boundary line S, extending from the boundary line S toward the flap piece 23. Furthermore, a central leg cut line 26' is preferably provided in the region between these pair of stopper cut lines 28a on both sides.

As a result, in this embodiment, when the flap piece 23 is released from the dispensing opening 30 of the base label 21 and allowed to stand (see FIG. 1), the legs 27, 27' extending beyond the boundary line S toward the leg cut lines 26, 26' rotate, preferably inverted about the imaginary boundary line S, causing the edge portions 27a of the legs 27, 27' to abut against the base label 21, thereby supporting the flap piece 23 in an upright position. These legs 27, 27' effectively maintain the flap piece 23 in an upright position while keeping the dispensing opening 30 open. In addition, in the region between the legs 27 on both sides of the boundary line S, a pair of stopper joints 28 extending continuously from the overlap joint 24 beyond the boundary line S toward the dispensing opening 30 of the base label 21 are formed on both sides of the boundary line S, sandwiching the central leg 27', and are separated from the flap piece 23 by the stopper cut line 28a.

In this embodiment, as shown in Figure 4, a pair of leg cut lines 26 are formed along the boundary line S in the boundary region between the flap piece 23 and the overlap joint 24 of the lid label 22, forming leg portions 27 on both edge portions. A pair of stopper cut lines 28a are formed on the inside of each of these leg cut lines 26, spaced apart from them, to form the stopper joint 28. Between these pair of stopper cut lines 28a, a leg cut line 26' is formed, spaced apart from them, to form the central leg portion 27'. Furthermore, in the gaps between these leg cut lines 26, 26' and the stopper cut lines 28a, hinge portions 25 are formed in a divided state.

In other words, in this embodiment, when the flap piece 23 is raised to open the dispensing opening 30 of the base label 21 (see Figure 1), legs 27, 27' are formed at three locations along the boundary line S: on both edges and in the center. Also, stopper joints 28 are formed at two locations between the edge legs 27 and the center legs 27', with hinges 25 formed at each of the four gaps between these. This more effectively maintains the uprightness and sealing properties of the flap piece 23. Furthermore, by forming hinges 25 at each of the four gaps between the legs 27, 27' and the stopper joints 28, the risk of the hinges 25 tearing during repeated use can be effectively avoided.

In this embodiment, a known adhesive is applied to the back surface of the flap piece 23 of the lid label 22, where it is overlapped with the base label 21, in an area surrounding the portion corresponding to the access opening 30 of the base label 21. Furthermore, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, a tab 29 is provided continuously at the tip of the flap piece 23 of the lid label 22, on the side opposite the boundary line S with the overlapping joint 24, preferably at the tip of a portion having an isosceles trapezoidal planar shape that narrows toward the tip. A fold line 29a is also formed at the boundary between the flap piece 23 and the tab 29.

The flap piece 23 is adhered to the surface of the base label 21 via an adhesive applied to the backside, covering and sealing the access opening 30. When the flap piece 23 is peeled off from the base label 21 and erected, the tab 29 can be tilted upward relative to the flap piece 23 at the crease line 29a, making it easier to grasp. This makes it possible to open the access opening 30 more smoothly.

Furthermore, as described above, a bite-in recess 21b is formed in the center of the leading edge portion 21a of the base label 21, which is the area where the leading end portion of the flap piece 23 on the opposite side of the boundary line S is placed on top of the flap piece, to maintain a gap below the tab 29 at the leading end of the flap piece. The gap maintained below the tab 29 makes it even easier to pick up the tab 29.

The flap label 20 of this embodiment, having the above-described configuration, is bonded, preferably by a known adhesive or welding method, to the upper surface (surface) 11a, which has an opening, of the bag body 11, which is made of a film material and has a generally hexahedral shape and can contain a plurality of wet tissues 31, as shown in Figure 1, and is attached integrally to the bag body 11 to form the bag container 10 of this embodiment.

Furthermore, with the flap label 20 and bag container 10 of this embodiment, even if the amount of wet tissues 31 stored inside the bag decreases and the bag body 11 made of a film material bends or sags, the access opening 30 can be stably maintained in an open state, and when closing the access opening 30, it can be stably sealed.

In other words, according to this embodiment, the flap label 20 is composed of a base label 21 in which the access opening 30 is formed, and a lid label 22 having a flap piece 23 arranged to openably cover the access opening 30. When the overlap joint 24 of the lid label 22 is joined to the base label 21, the flap piece 23 is bendable relative to the overlap joint 24, as shown in FIG. 4, using a hinge portion 25 arranged along the boundary line S with the overlap joint 24 as a folding base, thereby covering the access opening 30 in an openable and closeable manner. Furthermore, the flap piece 23 is formed with leg cut lines 26 on at least both sides of the boundary line S, offset from the boundary line S toward the overlap joint 24.

As a result, according to this embodiment, when the flap piece 23 is released from the access opening 30 of the base label 21 and allowed to stand upright, the legs 27, 27' extending beyond the boundary line S toward the leg cut lines 26, 26' rotate, preferably inverted about the imaginary boundary line S, causing the edge 27a to abut against the base label 21, thereby supporting the flap piece 23 in an upright position. Therefore, even if the bag body 11 made of a film material is warped or slack, these legs 27, 27', whose edge 27a abuts against the base label 21 made of a thin sheet material, effectively maintain the flap piece 23 made of a thin sheet material in an upright position with the access opening 30 open.

Furthermore, when the flap piece 23 covers and closes the access opening 30 of the base label 21, even if the bag body 11 made of film material is warped or slack, the flap piece 23 made of a thin sheet material can be easily overlapped and tightly attached to the base label 21 also made of a thin sheet material, making it possible to stably seal the access opening 30.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be modified in various ways. For example, when the flap piece is raised to open the access opening of the base label, legs may be formed at three locations on both edge portions and in the center along the boundary line between the flap piece of the lid label and the overlapping joint, and stopper joints may be formed at two locations between the edge legs and the center leg. It is not necessary to form hinge portions in each of the four gaps between these, and the center leg may not be formed. Furthermore, the edge portion of the base label where the tip portion of the flap piece is overlapped may not have a bite-in recess.

Claims (6)

A flap label made of a thin sheet material is attached to the surface of a bag body made of a film material to form an openable and closable opening for accessing contents,

A flap label according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein a biting recess is formed in the edge portion of the base label where the tip portion of the flap piece opposite the boundary line is overlapped to maintain a gap below the tip portion of the flap piece. A bag container in which the flap label according to any one of claims 1 to 5 is attached to the surface of a bag body made of a film material, and an openable/closable opening for accessing contents contained therein is formed.
