Description
The present invention relates to an adhesive product and a container with the adhesive product.
Patent Document 1 describes a conventional adhesive product. The adhesive product described in Patent Document 1 comprises a substrate and two or more adhesive dots provided on one surface of the substrate. In the adhesive product described in Patent Document 1, by setting the proportion of adhesive dots per unit area of the substrate within a specified range, it is possible to reduce the risk of damage to the object (the adherend in Patent Document 1) when the adhesive product is peeled off from the object.
The dot-shaped adhesive is a dot-shaped adhesive that is formed in a circular shape. Patent Document 1 also states that the dot-shaped adhesive can be in shapes other than a circular shape, such as a polygonal shape.
However, when the adhesive dots are formed in a circular or polygonal shape with multiple straight sides, as in the adhesive product described in Patent Document 1, there is a problem that even if the area ratio of the adhesive dots is within a specified range, when the adhesive product is peeled off, glue can easily remain on the object or the substrate can tear.
The present invention was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to provide an adhesive product that can ensure adhesive strength while preventing glue from remaining on the object or tearing the base material, and an adhesive product-attached container equipped with the same.

In addition, in the above-mentioned aspect of the adhesive product according to the present invention,
It is preferable that each of the glue portions in the second row is also offset in the first direction relative to each of the glue portions in the first row, and that each of the glue portions in the second row overlaps with the multiple glue portions in the first row by 30% or more of the dimension in the second direction of each of the glue portions in the second row when viewed along the first direction.
Furthermore, in the adhesive product according to the present invention, it is preferable that the centroid of each adhesive portion in the second row overlaps with the adhesive portion in the first row when viewed along the first direction.

<Embodiment>
(1) Overall As shown in Fig. 1, the container 1 with an adhesive product according to this embodiment has an adhesive product 4 attached to the top surface of a container 2. The contents of the container 2 are not particularly limited and may be, for example, a liquid, a solid, a gas, or a combination thereof. Examples of liquid contents include beverages, medicines, lotions, etc., and examples of medicines include deodorants, air fresheners, etc. Here, a deodorant, which is a liquid medicine, will be described as an example of the contents.
(2) Container The container 2 is an object to which the adhesive product 4 is attached. As shown in FIG. 2 , the container 2 includes a container body 21 and a cover 3.
The container body 21 is a hollow portion capable of containing the contents, and has an opening at the top end. The opening of the container body 21 is closed by a removably attached cap 22. A strip-shaped liquid-absorbent wick extending in the vertical direction is attached to the underside of the top plate of the cap 22, and the liquid-absorbent wick can be exposed from the container body 21 by lifting the cap 22. The container body 21 can hold the liquid-absorbent wick in a lifted position. The liquid-absorbent wick allows the liquid medicine in the container body 21 to volatilize outside the container 2.
The cover 3 covers the liquid-absorbent core in the raised state. The cover 3 is removably attached to the container body 21. The cover 3 is attached to the container body 21 by, for example, fitting, recess-and-projection fitting, screwing, or a snap-fit structure. The cover 3 is composed of a substantially cylindrical peripheral wall 31 with a central axis extending vertically, and a top plate 32 that closes the upper end of the peripheral wall 31.
The cover 3 has multiple ventilation holes 33. The multiple ventilation holes 33 are formed in both the top plate 32 and the peripheral wall 31, and penetrate the top plate 32 or the peripheral wall 31. The multiple ventilation holes 33 allow liquid medicine evaporated from the container body 21 to be released to the outside of the cover 3. There are no particular restrictions on the shape of the ventilation holes 33, and various shapes can be used taking into consideration design and functionality, such as round holes, elongated holes, holes resembling leaves or petals, and arc-shaped holes.
(3) Adhesive Product The adhesive product 4 is removably attached to the container 2. Examples of the adhesive product 4 include a product label with a trademark or other design printed on it, a design label, a POP label (attention label), a sealing label for sealing, a strip label for sealing the container and lid, a temperature-indicating label, a water-off label, and an ingredient list listing the ingredients of the contents. The adhesive product 4 may be attached to any part of the container body 21 or the cover 3, but here, as an example, a product label attached to the top surface of the top plate 32 of the cover 3 will be described.
Here, Figure 3 shows the back side of the adhesive product. As shown in Figure 3, the adhesive product 4 comprises a base material 5 and multiple adhesive portions 7. By providing multiple adhesive portions 7 on one side of the base material 5, the adhesive product 4 is attached to the container 2. The adhesive product 4 of this embodiment is designed to have both a certain level of adhesive strength to the container 2 and ease of peeling from the container 2.
Here, "certain adhesive strength" refers to adhesive strength strong enough to prevent the adhesive product 4 from peeling off from the container 2 during production or distribution. In this specification, having a certain adhesive strength is referred to as "having adhesive properties" or "having adhesive properties." "Ease of peeling" refers to the ease with which the adhesive product 4 can be peeled off from the container 2 without tearing the substrate 5 or leaving any adhesive residue. In this specification, having the property of being easily peelable is referred to as "having releasability," "having releasability," "high releasability," etc.
(3.1) Substrate The substrate 5 functions as a support having a print layer on its front surface and a plurality of adhesive portions 7 on its back surface. There are no particular limitations on the material of the substrate 5, and examples thereof include resin-based substrates, paper-based substrates, rubber-based substrates, fiber-based substrates, wood-based substrates, and metal-based substrates.
Examples of resin-based substrates include polyolefin-based resins, polyester-based resins, polyvinyl chloride-based resins, polyamide-based resins, polyimide-based resins, fluorine-based resins, polystyrene-based resins, and cellulose-based resins. Examples of paper-based substrates include Japanese paper, Western paper, high-quality paper, art paper, glassine paper, kraft paper, Clupak paper, crepe paper, clay-coated paper, top-coated paper, resin-laminated paper, and resin-coated paper. Examples of rubber-based substrates include natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Examples of fiber-based substrates include natural fibers (e.g., cotton, linen, silk), chemical fibers (e.g., rayon, acetate fiber, polyester fiber, polyvinyl alcohol fiber, polyamide fiber, polyolefin fiber), and the like. Two or more of these substrates 5 may be laminated to form a laminate, or may be composed of a single layer.
The substrate 5 is formed in a sheet or film shape and is flexible. There are no particular restrictions on the thickness of the substrate 5 as long as it is flexible, but it is, for example, between 30 μm and 200 μm, and preferably between 50 μm and 150 μm.
The substrate 5 is formed in a generally circular shape when viewed from above. However, the shape of the substrate 5 is not particularly limited in the present invention and may be, for example, a generally triangular shape, a generally rectangular shape, a polygonal shape with pentagons or more sides, an oval shape, a heart shape, a star shape, etc. The printed layer provided on the front surface of the substrate 5 is printed with, for example, letters, designs, coloring, etc. However, the printed layer may be omitted and may be a decorative layer with no pattern and a single color, or the front surface of the substrate 5 may constitute the front surface of the adhesive product 4.
(3.2) Glue section The glue section 7 is a sticky section of the adhesive product 4, and is arranged between the container 2 and the substrate 5. A plurality of glue sections 7 are provided over substantially the entire back surface of the substrate 5, and are spaced apart. As shown in FIG. 3(B), each glue section 7 is surrounded by a glue-blocking section 6 and is formed in a polygonal shape.
The adhesive-blocking portion 6 refers to a portion with weaker adhesive strength than the adhesive portion 7, and in this case refers to a portion with no adhesive strength. The adhesive-blocking portion 6 is formed, for example, by applying glue to the entire back surface of the base material 5 without any gaps (so-called "solid coating"), and then laminating varnish on the adhesive surface of the glue in the area surrounding the adhesive portion 7. The adhesive-blocking portion 6 may also be formed in a portion of one side of the base material 5 where no adhesive is provided. The adhesive-blocking portion 6 may also be formed using other methods, such as using a film.
As shown in Figure 4, each adhesive portion 7 is formed in a polygonal shape consisting of three or more vertices 71 and multiple sides 72 connecting adjacent vertices 71. There are no particular restrictions on the shape of the adhesive portion 7 as long as it is polygonal, and it may be, for example, triangular, quadrilateral (square, rectangular, rhombus, parallelogram), pentagonal, trapezoidal, etc., but here we will explain the shape as a triangle as an example.
In this embodiment, there are three vertices 71. Each vertex 71 may be an obtuse angle or an acute angle. The "vertex 71" here refers to a protruding corner based on the adhesive portion 7, and the pair of sides 72 that form the vertex 71 do not have to be straight lines.
All sides 72 are concavely curved. "Concavely curved" here means that at least a portion of the side 72 is curved in a direction that concaves the adhesive portion 7. In this embodiment, the entire length of one side 72 is an arc (minor arc), but, for example, straight lines may be interposed between both ends of the arc and the vertex 71. Furthermore, the curved portion of the side 72 does not have to be an arc; it may be a free curve, or may be formed into a roughly arc-like shape by connecting multiple obtuse angles. However, it is preferable that the points of contact between the curve and the straight lines are smooth and continuous.
All portions of each side 72 are located closer to the centroid 75 of the glue portion 7 than the imaginary line segment connecting adjacent vertices 71 (sometimes referred to as the "first imaginary line segment 73"). Furthermore, each side 72 preferably passes through a point on the imaginary line segment connecting the midpoint M1 of the first imaginary line segment 73 to the centroid 75 (sometimes referred to as the "second imaginary line segment 74") that is at least 10% of the length dimension of the second imaginary line segment 74, moving from the midpoint M1 toward the centroid 75. In other words, if the intersection of the second imaginary line segment 74 and each side 72 is defined as point P1, then the dimension L1 between the midpoint M1 of the first imaginary line segment 73 and point P1 is preferably at least 10% of the length dimension L2 of the second imaginary line segment 74.
If it is desired to enhance releasability while maintaining the adhesive properties of the adhesive product 4, it is preferable that dimension L1 be between 50% and 80% of dimension L2. On the other hand, if it is desired to enhance adhesive strength while maintaining easy releasability of the adhesive product 4, it is preferable that dimension L1 be between 10% and 50% of dimension L2. Furthermore, if it is desired to achieve both releasability and adhesive properties, it is preferable that dimension L1 be between 40% and 70% of dimension L2. Note that in this specification, the term "virtual line segment" refers to a conceptual line segment that does not actually appear on the product.
In this way, by changing the area of the adhesive portion 7, the adhesiveness and releasability of the adhesive product 4 can be adjusted depending on the material and shape of the container 2. However, by curving each side 72 of the adhesive portion 7 in a concave shape, it is possible to achieve improved releasability while still maintaining adhesion.
Here, in Figures 5(A) and (B), the interface between the peeled adhesive product 4 and the container 2 when the adhesive product 4 is peeled off from the container 2 is shown by the line X1. If the interface X1 is not parallel to the first imaginary line segment 73, as the interface X1 approaches the adhesive portion 7, it will first come into contact with the vertex 71 without coming into contact with any of the sides 72. Because the vertex 71 is more susceptible to peeling than other portions, peeling off the vertex 71 serves as a trigger for peeling off the adhesive portion 7 without tearing the substrate 5 or leaving any adhesive residue.
Furthermore, when the interface (straight line X2) is parallel to the first imaginary line segment 73, as interface X2 approaches the adhesive portion 7, it also first hits vertex 71 without hitting any of the sides 72. In this case, interface X1 also hits vertices 71 at both ends of the second imaginary line segment 74, and peeling of the vertices 71 triggers peeling of the adhesive portion 7. Therefore, when the adhesive product 4 is peeled from the container 2, the substrate 5 is less likely to tear or leave adhesive residue, regardless of the position on the outer edge of the adhesive product 4 from which it is peeled, thereby improving peelability.
From the standpoint of adhesion and releasability, the size of each adhesive portion 7 is preferably such that it fits within a rectangular frame with one side of 3 mm to 10 mm. When an adhesive portion 7 fits within a rectangular frame with one side of 10 mm or less, appropriate releasability can be achieved. On the other hand, when an adhesive portion 7 fits within a rectangular frame with one side of 3 mm or more, appropriate adhesion can be achieved. Here, "a size that fits within a rectangular frame" means that at least one of the multiple vertices 71 is located on the frame, and the size of the adhesive portion 7 is the largest possible size that can be achieved within the frame.
The adhesive that constitutes the adhesive portion 7 is not particularly limited, and common adhesives such as acrylic, rubber, urethane, polyester, polyether, polyamide, silicone, and epoxy adhesives can be used. These adhesives may be used alone or in combination of two or more types.
As shown in Figure 3(A), the adhesive portion 7 having this configuration is arranged so as to cover substantially the entire surface of the back surface of the substrate 5. The proportion of the adhesive portion 7 relative to the back surface of the substrate 5 (area ratio per unit area) is preferably, for example, 20% to 70%, and more preferably 30% to 60%.
As shown in FIG. 3(B), one of the directions in which multiple glue sections 7 arranged in the same direction are lined up is defined as the first direction, and the direction perpendicular to the first direction on the substrate 5 is defined as the second direction. Here, the horizontal direction is exemplified as the first direction, and the vertical direction is exemplified as the second direction. Furthermore, among the multiple glue sections 7, one row of glue sections 7 lined up in the horizontal direction is defined as the "first row 81," and another row of glue sections 7 adjacent to the first row 81 is defined as the "second row 82." The multiple glue sections 7 according to this embodiment are configured by multiple glue rows 8 lined up in the vertical direction, each set consisting of an adjacent first row 81 and second row 82. Therefore, the following description will mainly focus on the relationship between the first row 81 and the second row 82 in one glue row 8. Since the other glue rows 8 have the same configuration, a description of them will be omitted.
The first row 81 is composed of multiple glue sections 7 arranged horizontally, and all of the glue sections 7 are formed to the same size and shape. A glue-blocking section 6 is interposed between the horizontal edges 72 of adjacent glue sections 7, meaning that the vertices 71 of adjacent glue sections 7 are spaced apart. However, in the present invention, adjacent glue sections 7 may be partially connected.
Like the first row 81, the second row 82 is composed of multiple glue sections 7 arranged horizontally, and all of the glue sections 7 are formed to the same size and shape. The second row 82 is shifted vertically relative to the first row 81. Each glue section 7 in the second row 82 is formed to have a shape that is vertically inverted compared to each glue section 7 in the first row 81.
The distance between adjacent glue portions 7 in the first row 81 is preferably 0.1 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less, and more preferably 0.3 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less. Furthermore, the distance between adjacent glue portions 7 in the second row 82 is preferably the same as that in the first row 81. The "dimension between adjacent glue portions 7" here refers to the smallest dimension of the glue-blocking portion 6 between adjacent glue portions 7 in the horizontal direction. In this embodiment, it refers to the distance between the vertex 71 of one glue portion 7 and the vertex 71 of the other glue portion 7 of adjacent glue portions 7.
In this embodiment, each glue portion 7 is a polygon that is symmetrical in the horizontal direction and asymmetrical in the vertical direction. "Horizontally symmetrical" here means that it is symmetrical with respect to an axis of symmetry that is parallel to the vertical direction and passes through the centroid 75 of the glue portion 7. "Vertically asymmetrical" also means that it is asymmetric with respect to an axis of symmetry that is parallel to the horizontal direction and passes through the centroid 75 of the glue portion 7.
For example, if all adhesive portions 7 are formed in the same direction across the entire surface of the substrate 5, the vertices 71 of the adhesive portions 7 will face one of three directions. In this embodiment, each side 72 of each adhesive portion 7 is curved concavely, so that peeling of the vertices 71 triggers peeling of the adhesive portion 7 regardless of the direction from which the adhesive product 4 is peeled. However, if the interface is not straight, peeling may not occur as expected.
In contrast, in the adhesive product 4 according to this embodiment, each adhesive portion 7 in the second row 82 is formed in a shape that is vertically inverted relative to each adhesive portion 7 in the first row 81, which allows the orientation of the vertices 71 of each adhesive portion 7 to be dispersed. This allows for an adhesive product with higher releasability regardless of the direction from which the interface is approached.
Furthermore, the glue portions 7 of the second row 82 are offset laterally relative to the glue portions 7 of the first row 81; specifically, they are disposed between adjacent glue portions 7 of the first row 81. The glue portions 7 of the second row 82 overlap adjacent glue portions 7 of the first row 81 when viewed horizontally (in other words, when viewed from the side of the glue portions 7, along the arrow E1 in Figure 3(B)). Here, as shown in Figure 3(B), it is preferable that 30% or more of the vertical dimension of the glue portions 7 of the second row 82 overlaps with the vertical region R1 in which the first row 81 is formed, and more preferably, the centroid 75 of the glue portions 7 of the second row 82 overlaps.
In addition, in this embodiment, one glue portion 7 in the second row 82 overlaps with an adjacent glue portion 7 in the first row 81 by 30% to 50% of the horizontal dimension of the glue portion 7 in the second row 82 when viewed along the vertical direction.
This allows the adhesive portion 7 to account for a higher area ratio on the back surface of the base material 5, resulting in high adhesive strength. In particular, in this embodiment, multiple ventilation holes 33 are formed in the cover 3, and the adhesive strength of the adhesive product 4 cannot be obtained in the areas where the ventilation holes 33 and the adhesive portion 7 overlap. Therefore, by making each adhesive portion 7 in the second row 82 overlap the adhesive portion 7 in the first row 81 when viewed laterally, it is possible to increase the area ratio of the multiple adhesive portions 7 while giving each adhesive portion 7 a shape that is highly releasable. As a result, appropriate adhesive strength can be ensured even for containers 2 that have multiple ventilation holes 33.
<効果>
<Effects>
As explained above, in the adhesive product 4 according to this embodiment, at least one edge 72 of each adhesive portion 7 is curved concavely, so that when peeling the adhesive product 4, peeling of the adhesive portion 7 begins at the apex 71, regardless of the position on the outer periphery of the adhesive product 4 from which it is peeled, and therefore the substrate 5 is less likely to tear or leave adhesive residue, improving peelability. As a result, it is possible to prevent adhesive residue on the object and the substrate 5 from tearing, while maintaining adhesive strength.
Furthermore, because each adhesive portion 7 is formed in a triangle with three vertices 71, it is easy to design each vertex 71 at an acute angle, improving peelability.
Furthermore, each side 72 of the adhesive portion 7 passes through a point on the second imaginary line segment 74 that is 10% or more of the length dimension L2 of the second imaginary line segment 74 as it moves from the midpoint M1 toward the centroid 75, thereby achieving high releasability while maintaining adhesive strength.
Furthermore, in the first row 81 and the second row 82, which are made up of multiple glue sections 7, each glue section 7 in the second row 82 is formed in a shape that is vertically inverted compared to each glue section 7 in the first row 81. This allows the orientation of the vertices 71 of each glue section 7 to be dispersed, resulting in better releasability.
In addition, each glue portion 7 in the second row 82 is offset laterally relative to each glue portion 7 in the first row 81, and overlaps with the multiple glue portions 7 in the first row 81 by 30% or more of their vertical dimension when viewed horizontally. This allows the glue portions 7 to be laid out densely on the substrate 5, thereby increasing adhesive strength while ensuring releasability.
Furthermore, since the centroids of each adhesive portion 7 in the second row 82 overlap with the multiple adhesive portions in the first row when viewed horizontally, the adhesive portions 7 can be spread even more evenly across the substrate 5, thereby further increasing the adhesive strength.
<変形例>
<Modification>
The above embodiment is merely one of various embodiments of the present invention. The embodiment can be modified in various ways depending on the design, etc., as long as the object of the present invention can be achieved. Modifications of the embodiment are listed below. The modifications described below can be applied in appropriate combinations.
(1) Modification 1
Although the glue portions 7 according to the above embodiment are formed in a triangular shape, as described above, the present invention may be of any polygonal shape, such as a pentagon with each side 72 curved concavely, as shown in FIG. 6 . Because a pentagon is a polygon that is horizontally symmetrical and vertically asymmetrical, each glue portion 7 in the second row 82 can be formed in a shape that is vertically inverted relative to each glue portion 7 in the first row 81, as in the above embodiment. Furthermore, the glue portions 7 in the second row 82 overlap the vertical region R1 in which the first row 81 is formed by 30% or more of their vertical dimension when viewed horizontally.
For this reason, even in this modified example, the adhesive portions 7 can be spread over the substrate 5, thereby increasing adhesive strength while ensuring peelability. In this modified example, the centroid of each adhesive portion 7 in the second row 82 is offset from region R1 of the first row 81 when viewed laterally, but may overlap with region R1. This can be achieved, for example, by increasing the pitch of the multiple adhesive portions 7 in the first row 81 and the pitch of the multiple adhesive portions 7 in the second row 82, and then moving the first row 81 and the second row 82 closer together.
When compared to a triangular adhesive portion 7, the pentagonal adhesive portion 7 has a larger area and therefore a stronger adhesive force when compared to a triangular adhesive portion 7, when both portions fit within the same rectangular frame. However, the width of the corner with the vertex 71 is wider, making it slightly less releasable.
(2) Other Modifications The adhesive product 4 according to the above embodiment is attached to the container 2, but the object to which the adhesive product 4 according to the present invention is attached does not have to be the container 2, and may be attached to, for example, an electrical appliance, furniture, food, books, miscellaneous goods, etc. Furthermore, the adhesive product 4 may be attached to a packaging material that covers the container 2, electrical appliance, furniture, food, books, miscellaneous goods, etc. The packaging material is, for example, a transparent film.
Furthermore, although the container 2 in the above embodiment is provided with a cover 3, the cover 3 may be omitted in the present invention.
In addition, in the above embodiment, the "horizontal direction" was exemplified as the first direction in which multiple glue portions 7 arranged in the same orientation are aligned, and the "vertical direction" was exemplified as the second direction. However, as shown in Figure 7, the first direction may be defined as the "vertical direction" and the second direction as the "horizontal direction." The multiple glue portions 7 of the same orientation that make up the first row 81 are aligned in the vertical direction, while the glue portions 7 of the second row 82 are offset in the horizontal direction. In this case, the glue portions 7 of the first row 81 and the second row 82 can be said to be formed in a polygonal shape that is symmetrical in the vertical direction (first direction) and asymmetrical in the horizontal direction (second direction). Each glue portion 7 of the second row 82 can be said to be formed in a shape that is inverted in the horizontal direction (second direction) relative to each glue portion 7 of the first row 81.
In the adhesive portion 7 according to the above embodiment, all of the edges 72 are concavely curved. However, in the present invention, it is sufficient that at least one of the edges 72 included in the polygon is concavely curved; it is not necessary for all edges 72 to be concavely curved.
In this specification, expressions that include "approximately" such as "approximately parallel" or "approximately perpendicular" may be used. For example, "approximately parallel" means that the object is essentially "parallel," and does not necessarily mean that the object is strictly "parallel," but also includes an error of a few degrees. The same applies to other expressions that include "approximately."
In addition, in this specification, expressions such as "end" and "edge" are used that are distinguished by the presence or absence of "... part." For example, "end" means the end of an object, while "end" means a region with a certain range that includes the "end." Any point within a certain range that includes the edge is considered to be an "end." The same applies to other expressions that include "... part."
<実施例>

The adhesive portion was square in shape, with each side formed in a straight line. For the test piece of Comparative Example 1, a test piece was used in which one adhesive portion was formed on one side of the substrate, similar to the test piece of Example 1.
(3) Comparative Example 2
For the adhesive product according to Comparative Example 2, the same materials as those of the substrate and adhesive portion were used as in Example 1. The shape of the adhesive portion was a pentagon with a star shape in which each side was bent in the middle. As with the test piece of Example 1, a test piece for Comparative Example 2 was used in which one adhesive portion was formed on one side of the substrate.
(4) Comparative Example 3
For the pressure-sensitive adhesive product according to Comparative Example 3, the same materials as those of the substrate and adhesive portion were used as in Example 1. The adhesive portion had a circular shape. For the test piece of Comparative Example 3, a test piece in which one adhesive portion was formed on one side of the substrate was used, similar to the test piece of Example 1.
(5) Test Method For each test piece of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3, the substrate was peeled away so that the interfaces approached each other in the direction of the arrows shown in Figure 8. The test was carried out three or more times for each test piece, and the number of times the substrate broke and remained or adhesive remained was recorded, and the occurrence rate of material breakage or adhesive residue was calculated. The results are shown in Figure 8.
(6) Results In the test pieces according to Example 1, 0% of the test pieces had broken substrates, whereas in Comparative Example 1, some of the test pieces had broken substrates depending on the direction in which the interface approached, and in Comparative Examples 2 and 3, some of the test pieces had broken substrates. This shows that if the shape of the adhesive portion is polygonal with each side curved concavely, the substrate is less likely to break and the adhesive is less likely to remain.
