Description

The present invention relates to a fixture with a top .

In furniture with a tabletop, such as a tabletop supported by multiple support legs, a configuration may be adopted that omits the connecting frame that ensures the rigidity of the entire support legs by connecting adjacent support legs. This configuration prevents the user's lower legs from coming into contact with the connecting frame when sitting or leaving a seat near the furniture with a tabletop.

For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a table that omits the connecting frame. The table described in Patent Document 1 omits the connecting frame by including support legs that have an upper leg that is connected vertically to the tabletop and a lower leg that extends diagonally from the bottom end of the upper leg toward the outside of the table, forming an angle of 90° or more. Furthermore, with the support legs disclosed in Patent Document 1, the angle between the upper and lower legs is large, at 90° or more, and therefore the horizontal distance between the connection point between the support leg and the tabletop and the tip of the lower leg is short, thereby reducing the moment with the upper leg as the fulcrum.

For example, Patent Document 2 discloses a table in which the tip of the upright leg supporting the tabletop is connected to the base end of a horizontal leg extending horizontally from the tip of the upright leg by a screw, and an adjuster bolt is provided between the screw-fastening position and the tip of the horizontal leg to adjust the height of the horizontal leg.

Patent No. 4289544

In a table such as that disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, since a connecting frame for connecting the support legs is not provided, movement of the user's lower limbs is not hindered below the tabletop.
However, because the angle between the upper and lower legs is large (90° or more), the length and width of the support legs are large, which results in a large mold for manufacturing the support legs, which increases manufacturing costs and requires labor to transport large parts.

Furthermore, in the table disclosed in Patent Document 2, one of the adjuster bolts is located in a position close to the screw fastening position between the standing leg and the horizontal leg, which makes the structure of the connection between the standing leg and the horizontal leg complex and makes manufacturing time-consuming.

The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and provides a piece of furniture with a tabletop that is easy to manufacture and can stably support the tabletop, allowing for the movement of the user's lower limbs.

To achieve the above-mentioned objective, one aspect of the present invention provides a furniture support structure that is installed on a floor surface and supports a tabletop. The furniture support structure comprises a base leg member having a base leg body that extends along the floor surface and a connecting portion provided at the base end of the base leg body; a support member that is connected to the connecting portion and stands in a substantially vertical direction; a first ground contact portion that is provided at the tip of the base leg body and comes into contact with the floor surface; and a second ground contact portion that is provided on the base leg body between the first ground contact portion and the connecting portion, and is located closer to the connecting portion than the first ground contact portion and comes into contact with the floor surface.

In this invention, the fixture support structure includes a first ground contact portion and a second ground contact portion, allowing the tabletop to be stably supported by the two ground contact portions. The fixture support structure includes the second ground contact portion located closer to the base end of the base leg body than the first ground contact portion between the first ground contact portion and the connecting portion, allowing the second ground contact portion to be located in a position that does not interfere with the structure of the connecting portion. This allows the second ground contact portion to be located without complicating the connecting portion's structure. Because the fixture support structure contacts the floor surface via the first ground contact portion and the second ground contact portion, the inclination of the base leg member relative to the floor surface can be reduced. As a result, the fixture support structure's length and width dimensions can be reduced, and it can be manufactured without using large molds compared to large, three-dimensional, one-piece molded support legs. Because the fixture support structure is spaced from the floor surface by the first ground contact portion and the second ground contact portion, a path for the lower legs of a fixture user can be established below the base leg member.

In one aspect of the furniture support structure of the present invention, the base leg member may be arranged at an upward incline relative to the floor surface from the first ground contact portion toward the connecting portion.
With this configuration, the fixture support structure can expand the space below the top plate of the base leg member, thereby allowing for a wider range of movement for the lower legs of the fixture user.

In one aspect of the furniture support structure of the present invention, the second grounding portion may be located between the connecting portion and the first grounding portion, closer to the connecting portion.
With this configuration, the fixture support structure can be provided with the second ground contact portion in a position that does not overlap with the connection portion between the base leg member and the support member and is close to the connecting portion, thereby improving resistance to the moment around the support member that is generated as a fulcrum due to the load of the tabletop and the weight of the fixture support structure. Also, because the second ground contact portion is located closer to the first ground contact portion than the connecting portion, it is possible to prevent contact between the lower limbs of a fixture user below the tabletop and the second ground contact portion.

In one aspect of the furniture support structure of the present invention, the second ground contact portion may be constituted by an adjuster.
With this configuration, the fixture support structure can be placed more stably on the floor surface because the adjuster ensures that the second grounding portion is in contact with the floor surface.

In one aspect of the present invention, the base leg member and the support member may be arranged in a one-to-one correspondence, and the base leg body may extend in one direction with the connection portion with the connecting portion as its base end.
With this configuration, the fixture support structure has a simple structure for the base leg member, so the base leg member can be positioned in a position where the lower legs of the fixture user are less likely to come into contact with the base leg member.

In one embodiment of the present invention, a bolt insertion hole penetrating in an approximately vertical direction is formed in the connecting portion, a bolt hole communicating with the bolt insertion hole is formed in the support member, and the base leg member and the support member may be connected by a connecting bolt inserted into the bolt insertion hole and the bolt hole.
According to this configuration, the fixture support structure can connect the base leg member and the support member with connecting bolts, making it easy to connect the base leg member and the support member.

A fixture with a tabletop according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a plurality of the fixture support structures described above and a tabletop supported by the fixture support structures, with the fixture support structures being connected to each other only at the upper ends of the support members.

According to the present invention, fixtures with tabletops can stably support tabletops without requiring a structure that connects adjacent fixture support structures. Furthermore, because fixtures with tabletops do not require a structure that connects adjacent fixture support structures, they can be configured so that the movement of the lower limbs of users of the fixtures with tabletops below the tabletops is not hindered when sitting down or leaving the seat, ensuring a wide range of movement for the lower limbs of users of the fixtures with tabletops.

In one aspect of the present invention, the fixture support structure may be provided at both ends of the tabletop in one direction, with the base leg body extending outward in the one direction relative to the tabletop.
With this configuration, the tabletop can be stably supported, while the installation direction of the base leg members can be oriented in a way that takes into account the movement of the lower limbs of the user of the tabletop-equipped furniture.

One aspect of the present invention provides a fixture support structure and a fixture with a tabletop that are easy to manufacture and can stably support a tabletop, allowing for the movement of the user's lower limbs.

The multiple support structures 3 are arranged at intervals below the tabletop 2, sandwiching tabletop support members 4 between them. The multiple support structures 3 are provided as legs 30 of the tabletop-equipped furniture 1 that supports the tabletop 2. The multiple support structures 3 are arranged symmetrically across a perpendicular line to the floor F. In this embodiment, the multiple support structures 3 are provided in pairs at positions symmetrical across a perpendicular line passing through the center of the tabletop 2 in the short direction, and multiple pairs of support structures 3, 3 are arranged at equal intervals along the length of the tabletop 2.

As shown in FIG. 4, the support structure 3 includes a base leg member 31, a support member 32, a first ground contact portion 33, a second ground contact portion 34, an upper connecting bolt 35, and a lower connecting bolt 36. The support structure 3 is erected with the first ground contact portion 33 and the second ground contact portion 34 in contact with the floor surface F, and the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 connected by the lower connecting bolt 36 at the connecting portion 312 of the base leg member 31. The support structure 3 also supports the top plate 2 with the support member 32 and the top plate support member 4 connected by the upper connecting bolt 35.

The base leg member 31 has a base leg main body 311 and a connecting portion 312. The base leg main body 311 extends along the floor surface F, and has a first ground contact portion 33 at its tip end 311a protruding from the tabletop 2, and a connecting portion 312 at its base end 311b located below the tabletop 2.

The base leg member 31 is disposed so as to tilt upward from the first ground contact portion 33 toward the connecting portion 312 at a constant tilt angle α relative to the floor surface F. The tilt angle α of the base leg member 31 is, for example, 1° to 5° relative to the floor surface F.

As shown in Figure 2, as part of the support structure 3 in the fixture 1 with a tabletop, when it is in contact with the floor surface F and supporting the tabletop 2, the base leg member 31 protrudes outward (in the direction approaching the outer peripheral edge of the tabletop 2) from the connecting portion 312 toward the first grounding portion 33 relative to the tabletop 2.
With the above-described configuration, the support structures 3 arranged at both longitudinal ends of the tabletop 2 have the base leg members 31 extending so that the tip portions 311a point toward the corners of the tabletop 2. The support structure 3 arranged in the middle of the tabletop 2 in the longitudinal direction has the base leg members 31 arranged in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the tabletop 2, and the tip portions 311a are arranged on the outside.

As shown in Figure 4, the base leg member 31 has a bolt insertion hole 313 formed in the connecting portion 312, penetrating in a substantially vertical direction, a first mounting hole 314 formed in the tip end 311a, and a second mounting hole 315 formed at position B adjacent to the connecting portion 312. A first grounding portion 33 is provided in the first mounting hole 314, and a second grounding portion 34 is provided in the second mounting hole 315.

In this embodiment, Position B is between the first ground contact portion 33 of the base leg main body 311 and the connecting portion 312, and is closer to the connecting portion 312. Position B is a position that does not interfere with the configuration of the connecting portion 312. More specifically, Position B is a position closer to the bolt insertion hole 313 than the midpoint between the bolt insertion hole 313 and the first mounting hole 314. Even more specifically, Position B is closer to the bolt insertion hole 313 than midpoint C between the end of the bolt insertion hole 313 on the first ground contact portion 33 side and the end of the first ground contact portion 33 on the bolt insertion hole 313 side, and is a position that does not interfere with the configuration of the connecting portion 312.

The first ground contact portion 33 protrudes downward in a substantially vertical direction from the underside 316 of the base leg body 311 and comes into contact with the floor surface F. The second ground contact portion 34, like the first ground contact portion 33, protrudes downward in a substantially vertical direction from the underside 316 of the base leg body 311 and comes into contact with the floor surface F.

The connecting portion 312 is connected to the lower end portion 321 of the support member 32 and has a curved surface that is continuous with the support member 32. A bolt insertion hole 313 that penetrates the connecting portion 312 in a substantially vertical direction is formed.

The support member 32 is disposed between the base leg member 31 and the top plate support member 4, connected to the connecting portion 312, and stands upright in a substantially vertical direction. A bolt hole 322 (hereinafter referred to as the "lower bolt hole 322") is formed in the lower end portion 321 of the support member 32. The lower bolt hole 322 communicates with the bolt insertion hole 313. The lower bolt hole 322 has an internal thread on its inner surface 323, into which a lower connecting bolt 36 (described later) is fitted. An upper bolt hole 325 is formed in the upper end portion 324 of the support member 32. The upper bolt hole 325 has an internal thread on its inner surface 326, into which an upper connecting bolt 35 (described later) is fitted. The connecting portion 312 of the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 are connected by the lower connecting bolt 36 inserted through the bolt insertion hole 313 and the lower bolt hole 322.

The base leg members 31 and support members 32 are provided in a one-to-one correspondence, and the base leg main body 311 extends in one direction from the connection point with the connecting portion 312 as its base end.

In this embodiment, the first ground contact portion 33 and the second ground contact portion 34 are configured using known height-adjustable screw-type adjusters, and the amount of protrusion from the underside 316 of the base leg member 31 changes depending on how much the adjuster is tightened.

Because the base leg member 31 slopes upward from the first ground contact portion 33 toward the connecting portion 312, the downward protrusion length of the second ground contact portion 34 is longer than the downward protrusion length of the first ground contact portion 33. The base leg member 31 is spaced from the floor surface F by the first ground contact portion 33 and the second ground contact portion 34, except for the contact portions between the first ground contact portion 33 and the second ground contact portion 34 and the floor surface F.

The top plate support member 4 has a bolt hole 41 that penetrates in a substantially vertical direction. The upper bolt hole 325 of the support member 32 communicates with the bolt hole 41. An upper connecting bolt 35 (described below) is inserted into the bolt hole 41. The support member 32 and the top plate support member 4 are connected by the upper connecting bolt 35 inserted into the upper bolt hole 325 and the bolt hole 41.

The top plate 2 is connected to the top of the top plate support member 4. In this embodiment, the method of connecting the top plate support member 4 and the top plate 2 is not important. For example, the top plate support member 4 and the top plate 2 may be connected by inserting a known bolt from the underside of the top plate support member 4 and then into the top plate 2.

The upper connecting bolt 35 has a male thread on the bolt portion circumferential surface 351. The male thread on the bolt portion circumferential surface 351 fits into a female thread on the inner circumferential surface 326. The upper connecting bolt 35 is inserted through the bolt hole 41 from the top of the top plate support member 4 and fits into the upper bolt hole 325, connecting the support member 32 and the top plate support member 4.

The lower connecting bolt 36 has a male thread on the bolt circumferential surface 361. The male thread on the bolt circumferential surface 361 fits into a female thread on the inner circumferential surface 323. The lower connecting bolt 36 is inserted through the bolt insertion hole 313 from the underside 316 of the base leg member 31 and fits into the lower bolt hole 322, connecting the base leg member 31 and the support member 32. A bolt cap 363 is fitted over the bolt head 362 of the lower connecting bolt 36 to protect it from the outside.

The base leg member 31 and the support member 32 are connected so that the centers of the bolt insertion hole 313 and the lower bolt hole 322 are positioned on the axis L of the support member 32, the lower connecting bolt 36 is positioned on the axis L of the support member 32, and the surfaces of the base end 311b and the lower end 321 are continuous.

The center of the upper bolt hole 325 of the support member 32 and the top plate support member 4 is positioned on the axis L of the support member 32, and the upper connecting bolt 35 is positioned on the axis L of the support member 32.

Adjacent tabletop support members 4, 4 are connected to each other by frame members 51. The frame members 51 connect adjacent tabletop support members 4, 4 to form a frame body 5 that is rectangular in plan view. As a result, the tabletop 2 is evenly supported by multiple support structures 3 and multiple tabletop support members 4. The frame body 5 is positioned inside the tabletop 2 in plan view.

The multiple support structures 3 are connected to each other by the frame body 5 only at the upper ends 324 of the support members 32. The installation height of the multiple support structures 3 is adjusted using first and second grounding portions 33 and 34, which are provided by adjusters, so that the tabletop 2 is approximately horizontal. The installation height of the multiple support structures 3 will differ between each support structure 3 if, for example, the floor surface F is not horizontal. Furthermore, the installation height of each tabletop support member 4 provided on the upper part of each support structure 3 is approximately the same. With the above configuration, the tabletop 2 and frame body 5 are installed approximately horizontally relative to the floor surface F. The multiple support structures 3 are installed at both ends and in the middle of the tabletop 2 in one direction, and each base leg body 311 extends outward in one direction relative to the tabletop 2.

As described above, the support structure 3 in this embodiment comprises a base leg member 31 having a base leg body 311 and a connecting portion 312, a support member 32 connected to the connecting portion 312 and standing in an approximately vertical direction, a first grounding portion 33 provided at the tip portion 311a, protruding approximately vertically downward from the underside 316 and coming into contact with the floor surface F, and a second grounding portion 34 provided at position B between the first grounding portion 33 of the base leg body 311 and the connecting portion 312, protruding approximately vertically downward from the underside 316 similarly to the first grounding portion 33 and coming into contact with the floor surface F.
With this configuration, the support structure 3 can stably support the top plate 2 by means of the first grounding portion 33 and the second grounding portion 34 .
Furthermore, since the support structure 3 includes the second grounding portion 34 at a position between the first grounding portion 33 and the connecting portion 312 and closer to the connecting portion 312, the second grounding portion 34 can be provided at a position that does not interfere with the configuration of the connecting portion 312. Therefore, the second grounding portion 34 can be provided without complicating the configuration of the connecting portion 312.
Furthermore, the support structure 3 is in contact with the floor surface F at the tip end 311a of the base leg body 311 and at position B close to the connecting portion 312, via the first grounding portion 33 and the second grounding portion 34, which reduces the inclination of the base leg member relative to the floor surface and reduces the length and width dimensions of the support structure 3. Therefore, the support structure 3 can be manufactured without using a large mold, as compared to a large, three-dimensional, one-piece molded support leg.

In this embodiment, the base leg member 31 is disposed so as to be inclined upward from the first ground contact portion 33 toward the connecting portion 312 at a certain inclination angle α with respect to the floor surface F.
With this configuration, the support structure 3 can further expand the space below the base leg member 31 near the top plate, thereby further expanding the movement path of the lower legs of the user of the fixture 1 with a top plate.
Furthermore, since the inclination angle α is a very small angle of about several degrees with respect to the floor surface F, the vertical and horizontal dimensions of the support structure 3 can be made smaller. Therefore, the mold for manufacturing the support structure 3 can be made smaller.

In this embodiment, the second grounding portion 34 is provided at a position B between the first grounding portion 33 and the connecting portion 312 and closer to the connecting portion 312 .
With this configuration, the second grounding portion 34 of the support structure 3 can be provided close to the connecting portion 312, and therefore close to the base end portion 311 b. Therefore, the support structure 3 can improve resistance to a moment with the support member 32 as a fulcrum, which is generated due to the load of the tabletop 2 and the weight of the support structure 3 itself.
Furthermore, since the second ground contact portion 34 of the support structure 3 is located closer to the first ground contact portion 33 than the connecting portion 312, contact between the lower limbs of the user of the tabletop-equipped fixture 1 and the second ground contact portion 34 below the tabletop 2 can be prevented.

In this embodiment, the first grounding portion 33 and the second grounding portion 34 are configured by adjusters.
According to this configuration, the first grounding portion 33 and the second grounding portion 34 can be reliably grounded to the floor surface F by adjusting the amount of protrusion from the lower surface 316 by changing the amount of tightening of the adjuster. Therefore, the support structure 3 can be positioned more stably.

In this embodiment, the base leg members 31 and the support members 32 are provided in a one-to-one correspondence, and the base leg main body 311 extends outward in one direction from the connection portion with the connecting portion 312 as the base end.
This configuration allows the support structure 3 to have a simple structure for the base leg members 31. Furthermore, since the base leg members 31 extend in a direction away from the space below the tabletop 2, the tabletop-equipped furniture 1 can be positioned and oriented so that the lower legs of the user are less likely to come into contact with the base leg members 31.

In this embodiment, the connecting portion 312 has a bolt insertion hole 313 that penetrates in an approximately vertical direction, and the support member 32 has a lower bolt hole 322 that communicates with the bolt insertion hole 313, and the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 are connected by a lower connecting bolt 36 that is inserted into the bolt insertion hole 313 and the lower bolt hole 322.
According to this configuration, the support structure 3 can easily connect the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 with the lower connecting bolt 36, so that the work of connecting the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 can be easily carried out.

In this embodiment, the fixture 1 with a tabletop comprises a plurality of support structures 3 and a tabletop 2 supported by the support structures 3, and the plurality of support structures 3 are connected to each other by a frame body 5 only at the upper ends 324 of the support members 32.
With this configuration, the tabletop-equipped fixture 1 can stably support the tabletop without requiring a connecting frame to connect adjacent fixture support structures 3, 3. Furthermore, because the tabletop-equipped fixture 1 does not require a connecting frame to connect adjacent fixture support structures 3, 3, it can be configured so that it does not interfere with the movement of the lower limbs of the user of the tabletop-equipped fixture 1 when sitting down or leaving the seat below the tabletop 2, ensuring a wide line of movement for the lower limbs of the user of the tabletop-equipped fixture 1.

In this embodiment, the multiple support structures 3 are provided at both ends of the tabletop 2 in one direction, and each base leg body 311 extends outward in one direction relative to the tabletop 2.
According to this configuration, the base leg members 31 of the multiple support structures 3 can be arranged in a direction that allows them to stably support the tabletop 2. Furthermore, the installation direction of each base leg member 31 can be set in a direction that takes into account the movement of the lower legs of the user of the tabletop-equipped furniture unit 1.

In this embodiment, the support structure 3 is spaced from the floor surface F at the tip 311a of the base leg member 31 and at a position B close to the connecting portion 312 by the first grounding portion 33 and the second grounding portion 34.
This configuration makes it possible to prevent obstruction of the movement of the lower legs of a user of the tabletop-equipped furniture 1 near the support structure 3.

In this embodiment, the support structure 3 is configured by connecting the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 with the lower connecting bolt 36, allowing each component that makes up the support structure 3 to have a simple shape.

The above describes embodiments of the fixture support structure and fixture with a top plate according to the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments and can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its intent.
For example, in the above embodiment, the support structure 3 has the base leg body 311 extending outward in one direction from the connection portion with the connecting portion 312 as a base end, but the base leg body 311 may also be configured to extend in multiple directions from the lower portion of the support member 32. For example, as shown in Fig. 5, the support structure 3 may be formed in an inverted T shape when viewed from the front, with the base leg body 311 extending in symmetrical directions from the connecting portion 312. In the above configuration, the base leg member 31 has base leg bodies 317, 317 extending in symmetrical directions from the connecting portion 312, with each base leg body 317 having a first ground contact portion 33 at its tip end 317a and a second ground contact portion 34 located between the tip end 317a and the connecting portion 312 and closer to the connecting portion 312.

Also, as shown in Figure 6, the support structure 3 may be formed in a shape in which the base leg bodies 311 extend radially in a planar view from the connecting portion 312. In the above configuration, the base leg member 31 has multiple base leg bodies 318 extending radially in a planar view from the connecting portion 312, with each base leg body 318 having a first ground contact portion 33 at the tip end 318a and a second ground contact portion 34 located between the tip end 318a and the connecting portion 312, closer to the connecting portion 312.

In the above embodiment, the base leg member 31 is inclined upward from the first ground contact portion 33 toward the connecting portion 312 at a constant inclination angle α relative to the floor surface F, but as shown in Figure 5, the central portion, which is part of the underside of the base leg member 31, may also be inclined convexly.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the support structure 3 connects the base leg member 31 and the support member 32 with the lower connecting bolt 36. However, the support structure 3 may also be configured such that a female thread is formed on the inner surface of the bolt insertion hole 313, and a male thread corresponding to the female thread on the inner surface of the bolt insertion hole 313 is formed on the lower end portion 321 of the support member 32, and the support member 32 is directly fitted into the bolt insertion hole 313. In the above configuration, the male thread on the lower end portion 321 has a penetration length that does not interfere with the second ground contact portion 34.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the first ground contact portion 33 and the second ground contact portion 34 of the support structure 3 are configured as adjusters, but the first ground contact portion 33 may be configured so that its protruding length does not change, and only the second ground contact portion 34 may be configured as an adjuster to separate the base leg member 31 from the floor surface F.
