Description
以下では、添付の図面を参照して、本発明の一実施形態による電池モジュール1の全般的な構造を詳説する。
以下では、図3を参照して、本発明の一実施形態による電池モジュール1の第1断熱部600と第2断熱部700の詳細な構造を詳説する。

Claims (10)
- 互いに隣接して配置される第1電池セル及び第2電池セルが積層して形成される電池セル積層体;
前記第1電池セル及び前記第2電池セルに、それぞれ電気的に連結される複数の電極リード;
前記複数の電極リードを電気的に連結するバスバープレート;
前記第1電池セルと前記第2電池セルとの間に配置される第1断熱部;及び
前記第1断熱部から離間された状態で、前記複数の電極リードの間に配置される第2断熱部;
を含み、
前記第2断熱部は、前記第1断熱部よりもさらに大きい熱膨張率を有する素材で構成され、
前記複数の電極リードと前記電池セル積層体との間に開放空間が存在しており、
前記第2断熱部は、加熱時に膨張することによって前記第1断熱部まで延び、それによって前記開放空間が閉塞されることを特徴とする、
電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部は、所定の臨界温度に到達すると、体積が増える熱膨張素材で構成される、
請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部を構成する前記熱膨張素材は、膨張紙を含む、
請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第1断熱部は、シリコーン系素材で構成される、
請求項1又は3に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部は、前記バスバープレートに面する側面が、前記バスバープレートに固定されるパッド状に構成される、
請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部は、膨張が開始する前は、前記第1断熱部と分離された状態で配置される、
請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記所定の臨界温度に到逹して、膨張が開始すると、前記第2断熱部の前記第1断熱部に面する側面は、前記第1断熱部と接触するようになる、
請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部は、膨張が開始する前は、前記複数の電極リードからそれぞれ分離された状態で配置される、
請求項5~7のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記所定の臨界温度に到逹して、膨張が開始すると、前記第2断熱部の前記複数の電極リードに面する両側面は、それぞれ前記複数の電極リードと接触するようになる、
請求項8に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記第2断熱部の膨張が完了すると、前記複数の電極リードの間に形成される空間は、閉塞する、
