Description

This invention relates to cosmetics, and more particularly to cosmetics suitable for sample use.

Before purchasing cosmetics such as foundation, consumers sometimes try samples to check the color and application of the product. Conventionally, as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 below, samples have been proposed in which cosmetic material is attached to a filling area of a base sheet, and a transparent cover sheet is laminated onto the base sheet to cover the cosmetic material.

However, in addition to the samples mentioned above, it is necessary to prepare sample applicators for applying the cosmetics. Furthermore, these applicators must be kept clean.

The objective of this invention is to provide cosmetics that can be manufactured at low cost, are hygienic, and are convenient.

The cosmetic product according to the present invention comprises a container body having a lower storage section having a first opening that opens upward, and an upper storage section having a second opening that opens upward, provided above the lower storage section via a stepped section that expands outward; a lid that closes the second opening; a cosmetic product stored in the lower storage section; an applicator for applying the cosmetic product, stored in the upper storage section; and a separating sheet located between the cosmetic product and the applicator, separating the cosmetic product and the applicator.

In this configuration, the container body has two storage compartments, one above the other. The lower compartment holds the cosmetic product, and the upper compartment holds the applicator. Because the cosmetic product and applicator are stored together in a single container, there is no need to prepare the applicator separately, making it hygienic and convenient. Furthermore, since the lower and upper storage compartments are arranged vertically, the container is compact, conserving resources and resulting in lower costs.

A stepped section, which widens outward, is provided between the lower and upper storage sections. Therefore, the upper storage section is larger outward than the lower storage section. The lower storage section has a lower side section, and the upper storage section has an upper side section, with the stepped section located between the lower and upper side sections. Because of this stepped section, when pouring cosmetic into the lower storage section, the cosmetic is less likely to adhere to the inner surface of the upper side section, and less likely to adhere to the applicator from the inner surface of the upper side section.

Furthermore, a separating sheet is placed between the cosmetic and the applicator, separating the cosmetic from the applicator. This prevents the cosmetic from adhering to the applicator.

Cosmetics can be manufactured, for example, as follows: The cosmetic is placed in the lower compartment of the container, followed by a separating sheet, and then an applicator. Finally, a lid is attached to the container, closing the second opening. In this way, the cosmetic, separating sheet, and applicator can be placed sequentially into the container, and the lid can be attached from above. Because the direction of cosmetic insertion and lid attachment are the same, manufacturing is easy, and cosmetics can be produced at low cost.

Preferably, the separation sheet is placed on the upper surface of the stepped portion, covering the first opening, and the applicator is placed on the separation sheet. With this configuration, since the separation sheet is placed on the upper surface of the stepped portion and covers the first opening, cosmetic material is less likely to adhere to the applicator. Furthermore, in the manufacturing process, the separation sheet can be placed on the upper surface of the stepped portion, and the applicator can be placed on the separation sheet. Therefore, cosmetics can be easily manufactured.

Preferably, the upper storage section has an outwardly extending finger insertion extension around a portion of the first opening. With this configuration, after opening the lid and removing the applicator from the upper storage section, the separation sheet can be easily removed by inserting a fingertip into the finger insertion extension.

Preferably, the lid is detachably bonded to the container body, and a finger insertion extension is provided at a position corresponding to the opening start of the lid. This configuration allows the lid to be opened by peeling it off from the opening start. Furthermore, because the finger insertion extension is provided at a position corresponding to the opening start of the lid, it can be easily incorporated without excessively enlarging the container.

Preferably, the upper surface of the stepped portion is provided with a support portion for supporting the separation sheet and a lower portion located outside the support portion and lower than the support portion. With this configuration, the peripheral edge of the separation sheet is positioned on the lower portion, and the peripheral edge of the separation sheet can be pushed downward, for example, with a fingertip. The separation sheet will tilt using the support portion as a fulcrum, due to the lever principle. Therefore, the separation sheet can be easily removed.

Preferably, the lower section has a descending section that is continuous with the outside of the support section and gradually slopes downwards toward the outside, and a flat section that is continuous with the outside of the descending section. This configuration allows the separation sheet to be stably tilted along the descending section. Furthermore, since a flat section is provided on the outside of the descending section, the connection between the upper side section and the lower section becomes smooth, allowing for easy manufacturing of the container body.

Preferably, the upper storage section has an outwardly extending finger-insertion extension around a portion of the first opening, with a lower section provided within the finger-insertion extension. This configuration allows for easy creation of a large lower section using the finger-insertion extension, and facilitates the creation of a height difference between the support section and the lower section. Therefore, the separation sheet can be tilted significantly, making it easy to remove. Furthermore, it becomes easier to lift the separation sheet by hooking its periphery with a fingernail.

Preferably, the upper storage section has an upper side section extending upward from the stepped section, and the upper side section has a side bulge that protrudes outward from the rest of the upper side section in the finger insertion expansion section, and the side bulge extends downward from the rest of the upper side section. When opening a cosmetic product, for example, one grasps the container body with the left hand and opens the lid with the right hand. At that time, one can grasp the container body by placing, for example, the thumb of the left hand on the side bulge of the upper side section. Since the side bulge extends downward from the rest of the upper side section, the thumb can be easily and firmly pressed against the side bulge, allowing for a secure grip on the container body.

Preferably, the lid is in contact with the upper surface of the applicator. This configuration suppresses vertical vibration of the applicator, making it less likely for the separation sheet to lift off the upper surface of the stepped portion. Therefore, adhesion of cosmetic material to the applicator can be suppressed.

As described above, since the cosmetic product and applicator are contained in two separate compartments within a single container, separated by a separation sheet, there is no need to prepare a separate applicator at the point of sale, making it hygienic and convenient. Furthermore, because it can be manufactured at low cost, it is suitable for simple cosmetic products such as samples.

The following description of cosmetic product 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be made with reference to Figures 1 to 11. Figures 1 and 2 show cosmetic product 1 in this embodiment. Cosmetic product 1 comprises a container, a cosmetic product 4 contained in the container, an applicator, and a separation sheet 6 for separating the cosmetic product 4 and the applicator. The container comprises a bottomed cylindrical container body 2 with an opening on its top surface, and a lid 3 that closes the opening of the container body 2.

<Container body 2>
Figures 3 and 4 show the container body 2 in its standalone state. The container body 2 has a bottom surface 10, a cylindrical lower side surface 11 extending upward from the periphery of the bottom surface 10, a stepped portion 12 extending outward from the upper end of the lower side surface 11, a cylindrical upper side surface 13 extending upward from the periphery of the stepped portion 12, and a flange portion 14 extending outward from the upper end of the upper side surface 13.

The container body 2 is divided into two sections, upper and lower, by a stepped section 12. The container body 2 has a lower storage section 15 and an upper storage section 16 located above the lower storage section 15. The lower storage section 15 and the upper storage section 16 are positioned vertically relative to each other. In a plan view, the upper storage section 16 is larger than the lower storage section 15.

The lower storage section 15 is composed of a bottom section 10 and a lower side section 11. The lower storage section 15 has a first opening 17 that opens upwards. The upper storage section 16 is composed of a stepped section 12 and an upper side section 13. The upper storage section 16 has a second opening 18 that opens upwards. The second opening 18 is the opening of the container body 2. The second opening 18 is larger than the first opening 17. The storage space of the lower storage section 15 and the storage space of the upper storage section 16 are connected vertically by the first opening 17.

The shape of the container body 2 in plan view can vary. In this embodiment, the bottom portion 10 is circular, the lower side portion 11 is cylindrical, and the first opening 17 is circular. That is, the lower storage portion 15 is circular in plan view. On the other hand, the upper storage portion 16 is not circular in plan view, and has a shape in which a part of the entire circumference of the circle bulges radially outward. Therefore, the shape of the stepped portion 12, the upper side portion 13, and the flange portion 14 in plan view is a shape in which a part of the entire circumference of the circle bulges radially outward. The upper storage portion 16 has a finger insertion extension portion 19 in which a part of the entire circumference of the second opening 18 bulges radially outward. It is preferable that the finger insertion extension portion 19 is large enough to allow one finger, such as an index finger or middle finger, to be inserted downwards.

The stepped portion 12 is provided around the entire circumference of the first opening 17. That is, the stepped portion 12 is annular. The stepped portion 12 extends radially outward from the upper end of the lower side portion 11. Due to the provision of the stepped portion 12, the upper side portion 13 is expanded outward by one step compared to the lower side portion 11. The radial dimension of the stepped portion 12 is constant except for the finger insertion expansion portion 19. The radial dimension of the stepped portion 12 is locally expanded radially outward at the finger insertion expansion portion 19. The stepped portion 12 has a stepped expansion portion 20 at the finger insertion expansion portion 19 that is expanded radially outward compared to the other parts of the stepped portion 12 (the main part of the stepped portion 12). The bulging shape of the stepped expansion portion 20 in plan view is arbitrary, but in this embodiment it is semicircular or crescent-shaped. However, the shape of the stepped expansion portion 20 in plan view may be, for example, rectangular. In this embodiment, the stepped portion 12 is substantially horizontal except for the stepped extension portion 20. However, the stepped portion 12 may be inclined to slope downward radially outward along its entire circumference.

The upper surface of the stepped portion 12 is provided with a support portion 21 adjacent to the first opening 17, and a lower portion 22 located radially outward from the support portion 21 and lower than the support portion 21. The support portion 21 is provided around the entire circumference of the first opening 17. The support portion 21 is annular in shape. The height of the support portion 21 is constant. The support portion 21 supports the separation sheet 6 around the entire circumference of the first opening 17. In the portion of the stepped portion 12 other than the stepped extension portion 20, the support portion 21 occupies most of the upper surface of the stepped portion 12 and extends substantially horizontally to the vicinity of the inner surface of the upper side portion 13.

The lower section 22 is provided in the stepped extension section 20. Therefore, the stepped extension section 20 is lower and recessed compared to the other parts of the stepped section 12. The lower section 22 has a descending section 22a that is continuous with the radially outer side of the support section 21 and gradually decreases in the radially outer direction, and a flat section 22b that is continuous with the radially outer side of the descending section 22a. The descending section 22a is preferably an inclined surface, but may also be a curved surface that curves downward or upward in the radially outer direction. If the descending section 22a is an inclined surface, its gradient may be, for example, 10 to 45 degrees. The flat section 22b is preferably a substantially horizontal flat surface. The flat section 22b preferably extends to the vicinity of the upper side surface section 13. Furthermore, it is preferable that a curved surface is provided at the boundary between the flat section 22b and the inner surface of the upper side surface section.

Corresponding to the fact that the upper surface of the stepped extension portion 20 is lower than the upper surface of the other parts of the stepped portion 12, the lower surface of the stepped extension portion 20 is lower than the lower surface of the other parts of the stepped portion 12.

The upper side portion 13 has a cylindrical shape in which a portion extends radially outward. The upper side portion 13 has a side bulge 25 in the finger insertion extension portion 19, which extends radially outward more than the rest of the upper side portion 13 (the main portion of the upper side portion 13). In a plan view, the side bulge 25 bulges radially outward in an arc shape. However, in a plan view, the side bulge 25 may bulge in a rectangular shape.

The side bulge 25 is connected to the outer edge of the stepped extension 20. Since the stepped extension 20 is lower than the other parts of the stepped section 12, the side bulge 25 extends downwards compared to the other parts of the upper side section 13. That is, the side bulge 25 has an extension 25a at its lower end that extends downwards compared to the lower ends of the other parts of the upper side section 13. The height of the lower end of the side bulge 25 is lower than the height of the lower ends of the other parts of the upper side section 13. On the other hand, the height of the upper end of the upper side section 13 is constant. Therefore, the vertical length of the side bulge 25 is longer than the vertical length of the other parts of the upper side section 13.

The flange portion 14 is provided around the entire circumference of the second opening 18. The flange portion 14 is substantially horizontal. The flange portion 14 has a circular shape with a portion projecting radially outward. The flange portion 14 has a flange projection 28 at a position corresponding to the finger-insertion expansion portion 19, which protrudes radially outward from the rest of the flange portion 14 (the main part of the flange portion 14). The flange projection 28 is connected to the upper end of the side bulge portion 25. A relief portion 29 is provided at the protruding end of the flange projection 28, which is lower than the rest of the flange projection 28 (the base end of the flange projection 28).

The container body 2 is preferably made of synthetic resin. The container body 2 is preferably made of a synthetic resin sheet and is formed by sheet molding such as vacuum forming. However, the container body 2 may also be formed by injection molding. Various types of synthetic resin sheets are possible, such as PP, PE, PET, PET-G, PCTA, POM, PBT, PA, PC, PS, PVC, PLA, AS, ABS, etc., and the thickness is, for example, 0.3 to 1.0 mm.

<Lid 3>
The lid 3 closes the second opening 18 of the container body 2. The lid 3 may take various forms. In this embodiment, the lid 3 is peelably bonded to the upper end of the container body 2. More specifically, the lid 3 is peelably heat-sealed to the upper surface of the flange portion 14. The lid 3 is preferably made of a flexible film. The film may be a single layer, but it is preferably multilayered. The film comprises, in order from the bottom side, i.e., the side closer to the container body 2, a sealant layer, a barrier layer, and a base layer. The sealant layer is a layer for bonding to the container body 2 by heat sealing and is made of synthetic resin such as PET, PP, PE, PBT, PA, or PLA. The barrier layer is made of aluminum foil, silica, EVOH, or the like. The base layer is the main layer of the film and is made of synthetic resin such as PET, PP, PE, PBT, PA, or PLA, or paper, or the like. One or more intermediate layers may be provided between the sealant layer and the barrier layer. The intermediate layer is made of synthetic resins such as PET, PP, PE, PBT, PA, and PLA.

The lid 3 has a shape corresponding to the flange portion 14. The lid 3 has a circular shape with a portion protruding radially outward. The lid 3 has an opening start portion 30 (tap portion) that protrudes radially outward. The opening start portion 30 is located above the flange protrusion 28. The tip of the opening start portion 30 is located above the relief portion 29 of the flange protrusion 28. A gap is formed between the tip of the opening start portion 30 and the relief portion 29. That is, the tip of the opening start portion 30 is provided with an unadhesive portion 31 that is not adhered to the flange portion 14. The user can grasp the unadhesive portion 31 with their fingertips when opening. Note that the flange protrusion 28 does not necessarily have to have a relief portion 29, and even in that case, the lid 3 can be easily peeled off by providing an unadhesive portion 31 on the opening start portion 30. Alternatively, instead of providing an unadhesive portion 31 at the tip of the opening start portion 30, a separation line may be provided at the tip of the flange projection 28, crossing its tip. When opening the lid 3, the tip of the flange projection 28 may be separated from its base end by this separation line. The separated tip of the flange projection 28 can then be grasped together with the tip of the opening start portion 30, allowing the lid 3 to be easily peeled off.

<Cosmetics 4>
The cosmetic 4 is housed in the lower storage section 15. The lower storage section 15 is a storage section for housing the cosmetic 4. The cosmetic 4 may be of various types and may be solid or liquid. A solid cosmetic 4 may be, for example, a powder or paste. The cosmetic 4 may contain volatile components. In the case of a solid cosmetic 4, it may be filled and compacted in a tray (inner dish) made of, for example, metal, synthetic resin, or paper. In the case of a liquid cosmetic 4, it may be impregnated in a pad 7. The viscosity of the liquid cosmetic 4 is, for example, 2000 to 30000 mPa·s (B-type viscometer, No. 4 rotor, 12 rpm, 60 sec). In this embodiment, the liquid cosmetic 4 will be described as an example.

The liquid cosmetic 4 is, for example, a liquid foundation, blush, serum, or lotion. The liquid cosmetic 4 is impregnated into the pad 7 (impregnated body). The impregnation amount is, for example, 0.5 to 5 g. The pad 7 is soft and easily deformable. The pad 7 has a shape corresponding to the lower storage section 15, and in this embodiment, it is cylindrical. The diameter of the pad 7 may be slightly smaller or larger than the inner diameter of the lower storage section 15. The vertical length (thickness) of the pad 7 is preferably the same as or shorter than the depth of the lower storage section 15, i.e., the vertical length of the lower side section 11. Therefore, when the pad 7 is housed in the lower storage section 15, the upper surface of the pad 7 is flush with or lower than the upper surface of the stepped section 12. It is preferable that the upper surface of the pad 7 does not protrude above the upper surface of the stepped section 12.

The material of pad 7 can be any material that can be impregnated with liquid cosmetic 4. The material of pad 7 can be various foams, porous materials, or fibrous materials. Pad 7 has cushioning properties. The fibrous material has a structure in which fibers intersect three-dimensionally like a jungle gym. The fibrous material has a three-dimensional structure. The intersections where the fibers intersect are the contact points where the fibers are in contact with each other. At the contact points, the fibers are fused together. The density of the fibrous material is, for example, about 6 to 50 kg/ ^m³ , preferably about 6 to 30 kg/ ^m³ . The Asker F hardness of the fibrous material is preferably about 30 to 60. The Asker F hardness is the value measured at a temperature of 25°C using an Asker rubber hardness tester type F manufactured by Polymer Instruments Co., Ltd. The pad 7 may be single-layered or multi-layered.

The step of impregnating the pad 7 with the liquid cosmetic 4 may be performed before placing the pad 7 in the lower storage section 15, but preferably after. After placing the pad 7 in the lower storage section 15, the nozzle 91 of the filling machine 90 is inserted into the container body 2 as shown in Figure 10. Then, the nozzle 91 is pressed against the pad 7. While compressing the pad 7 vertically with the nozzle 91, the liquid cosmetic 4 is discharged from the hole 92 of the nozzle 91, ensuring that the pad 7 is evenly and uniformly impregnated with the liquid cosmetic 4. The nozzle 91 is circular, corresponding to the shape of the pad 7, and its diameter is approximately equal to the inner diameter of the lower storage section 15.

<Separation Sheet 6>
The separation sheet 6 is positioned between the cosmetic 4 and the applicator. The separation sheet 6 may be smaller than the first opening 17 and may be located within the lower storage section 15, but preferably it is larger than the first opening 17 and placed on the upper surface of the stepped section 12. By being placed on the upper surface of the stepped section 12, the separation sheet 6 covers the first opening 17. As described above, an annular support section 21 is provided on the upper surface of the stepped section 12. The separation sheet 6 placed on the upper surface of the stepped section 12 is supported around its entire circumference by the annular support section 21, and the first opening 17 is sealed by the separation sheet 6.

The separation sheet 6 is circular in shape, corresponding to the shape of the first opening 17. The separation sheet 6 has a larger diameter than the first opening 17. Because the separation sheet 6 is circular, it has no directional orientation, allowing it to be easily inserted into the container body 2. Therefore, automatic loading of the separation sheet 6 becomes easier.

The separation sheet 6 has a diameter smaller than the outer edge of the stepped portion 12, i.e., smaller than the inner diameter of the upper side portion 13. Therefore, a gap is created between the outer edge of the separation sheet 6, which is placed on the upper surface of the stepped portion 12, and the inner surface of the upper side portion 13. This gap allows the separation sheet 6 to shift horizontally. Even if the separation sheet 6 shifts horizontally, it still covers and closes the entire first opening 17. Figure 8(a) shows the separation sheet 6 positioned concentrically with the first opening 17. Figure 8(b) shows the separation sheet 6 eccentrically positioned toward the finger insertion expansion portion 19 relative to the first opening 17.

The separation sheet 6 is formed from various types of sheets. Preferably, the separation sheet 6 is made of synthetic resin. Preferably, the separation sheet 6 is transparent, allowing the color of the cosmetic 4 to be visible through the separation sheet 6. The synthetic resin constituting the separation sheet 6 is, for example, PET, PP, PE, etc., with PET being preferred due to its excellent transparency. The thickness of the separation sheet 6 is, for example, 20 to 100 μm, preferably 50 to 100 μm.

<Puff 5 (applied tool)>
The upper storage section 16 houses an applicator. The applicator is a cosmetic tool used to apply cosmetics 4 to the skin, such as the face. In this embodiment, a puff 5 is housed in the upper storage section 16 as the applicator. The puff 5 comprises a cushioned puff body 50 and a band 51 attached to the upper surface of the puff body 50.

The puff body 50 is flat. In a plan view, the puff body 50 has a shape corresponding to the upper storage section 16, such as a circular or rectangular shape. In this embodiment, the puff body 50 is circular in plan view. The lower surface of the puff body 50 is the lower surface 5b of the puff 5, which is the application surface. During use, the cosmetic 4 adheres to the application surface.

The band 51 is attached to the upper surface of the puff body 50. The band 51 protrudes slightly upward from the upper surface of the puff body 50. Both ends of the band 51 are attached to two points on the periphery of the upper surface of the puff body 50. One or more fingers can be inserted between the band 51 and the upper surface of the puff body 50. When fingers are inserted between the band 51 and the upper surface of the puff body 50, the puff 5 is supported by the hand.

The puff 5 is housed in the upper storage section 16 with the band 51 facing upwards. The puff 5 is placed on the separation sheet 6. The upper surface 5a of the puff 5 is in contact with the lid 3. Specifically, the band 51 of the upper surface 5a of the puff 5 is in contact with the lid 3. The puff 5 is pressed downwards by the lid 3. The puff 5 is positioned between the lid 3 and the separation sheet 6, and preferably is held vertically by the lid 3 and the separation sheet 6. As shown in Figure 11, before the lid 3 is attached to the container body 2, it is preferable that the upper surface 5a of the puff 5 protrudes slightly upwards from the second opening 18. More specifically, it is preferable that the band 51 is positioned above the upper surface of the flange portion 14. When the lid 3 is heat-sealed to the flange portion 14, the band 51 is pressed downwards by the lid 3.

The cosmetic product 1, configured as described above, is manufactured, for example, as follows. First, the pad 7 is placed in the lower storage section 15 of the container body 2. Then, the pad 7 is impregnated with liquid cosmetic 4. Figure 10 shows an outline of the process of filling the pad 7 with liquid cosmetic 4. The nozzle 91 of the filling machine 90 is positioned above the container body 2 with the pad 7 housed in the lower storage section 15. Conversely, the container body 2 is positioned below the nozzle 91 of the filling machine 90. The diameter of the nozzle 91 is approximately equal to the inner diameter of the lower side section 11. The nozzle 91 is lowered and entered into the container body 2 through the second opening 18. Then, the nozzle 91 is entered into the lower storage section 15 through the first opening 17 and pressed against the upper surface of the pad 7, compressing the pad 7 vertically with the nozzle 91. In this state, the liquid cosmetic 4 is dispensed from the hole 92 of the nozzle 91, impregnating the pad 7 with the liquid cosmetic 4. After dispensing a predetermined amount of liquid cosmetic 4 from the nozzle 91, the nozzle 91 is raised and removed from the container body 2.

Furthermore, when automatically filling the container body 2 with liquid cosmetic 4, for example, the nozzle 91 of the filling machine 90 is positioned in a predetermined location, and the nozzle 91 is configured to move only vertically. The container body 2 is then sequentially moved horizontally to position it below the nozzle 91.

Because the upper storage section 16 expands outward relative to the lower storage section 15, even when the nozzle 91 moves back and forth from the second opening 18 into the container body 2, the nozzle 91 is less likely to come into contact with the upper side surface 13, and the liquid cosmetic 4 is less likely to adhere to the inner surface of the upper side surface 13. Furthermore, even in the case of solid cosmetic 4, when the solid cosmetic 4 is placed in the lower storage section 15, the cosmetic 4 is less likely to adhere to the inner surface of the upper side surface 13.

Figure 13 shows a comparative example where the container body 200 has no steps and has only one storage compartment. The diameter of the pad 204 is approximately equal to the inner diameter of the side portion 201 of the container body 200. In this case, when the nozzle 91 is moved back and forth within the container body 200, the cosmetic 205 is likely to adhere to the inner surface of the side portion 201. If the diameter of the nozzle 91 is made significantly smaller than the inner diameter of the side portion 201 to prevent the cosmetic 205 from adhering to the inner surface of the side portion 201, the cosmetic 205 will not easily impregnate the periphery of the pad 204, resulting in uneven impregnation.

After filling the pad 7 with the cosmetic 4, the separation sheet 6 is placed into the container body 2 through the second opening 18 and placed on the upper surface of the stepped portion 12. Since the diameter of the separation sheet 6 is larger than the diameter of the first opening 17, placing the separation sheet 6 on the upper surface of the stepped portion 12 effectively seals the first opening 17. Because a support portion 21 is provided in an annular shape around the first opening 17, the separation sheet 6 is supported by the annular support portion 21. Therefore, the degree of sealing of the first opening 17 is increased, suppressing leakage of the liquid cosmetic 4 and the evaporation of volatile components.

Next, the puff 5 is placed into the container body 2 through the second opening 18 and then placed on the separation sheet 6. The strip 51 of the puff 5 is positioned slightly above the upper surface of the flange portion 14. The upper surface of the puff body 50 may also be slightly higher than the upper surface of the flange portion 14. Then, the lid 3 is heat-sealed to the flange portion 14. The lid 3 seals the second opening 18, thereby sealing the container body 2. This suppresses the evaporation of the liquid cosmetic 4 and the volatilization of its volatile components. Furthermore, the barrier layer on the lid 3 prevents deterioration of the liquid cosmetic 4.

By welding the lid 3 to the flange portion 14, the puff 5 is pressed downwards by the lid 3. This suppresses vertical rattling of the puff 5, stabilizing it. Furthermore, since the separation sheet 6 is pressed downwards by the puff 5, vibrations of the separation sheet 6 are suppressed, stabilizing it as well. The pressing force from the puff 5 causes the separation sheet 6 to adhere tightly to the annular support portion 21, ensuring that the first opening 17 is securely closed by the separation sheet 6. In this way, the lower storage portion 15 can be double-closed by the separation sheet 6 and the lid 3.

The opening procedure for cosmetic product 1 will now be explained. Cosmetic product 1 is opened by peeling the lid 3 from the flange portion 14. For example, the container body 2 is grasped with one hand, and the lid 3 is grasped with the other hand and peeled from the flange portion 14. The method of peeling the lid 3 is arbitrary and can be done in various ways, but one example is shown in Figures 5 and 6.

As shown in Figure 5, for example, the container body 2 is grasped with the left hand. At that time, for example, the thumb 100 can be placed against the side bulge 25 to grip the container body 2 along the opening direction X of the lid 3. The side bulge 25 extends below the upper side portion 13 and its vertical length is longer than the other parts of the upper side portion 13, so the thumb 100 can be firmly pressed against the side bulge 25 to firmly grasp the container body 2. Then, the opening start portion 30 of the lid 3 is grasped with the fingertips of the right hand and the lid 3 is peeled off from the flange portion 14. Since an unadhesive portion 31 that is not adhered to the flange portion 14 is provided at the tip of the opening start portion 30, the unadhesive portion 31 of the lid 3 can be easily grasped. In particular, since a relief portion 29 is provided on the flange projection 28 and a gap is formed between the relief portion 29 and the unadhesive portion 31, the unadhesive portion 31 can be easily grasped. When the container body 2 is held along the opening direction X of the lid 3, the container body 2 is less likely to become unstable due to the force required to peel off the lid 3, allowing the lid 3 to be opened easily.

In this way, the lid 3 is removed from the container body 2. Figure 7(a) shows the container body 2 with the lid 3 removed. The puff 5 can be removed from the opened second opening 18. Figure 7(b) shows the container body 2 with the puff 5 removed.

Next, the removal of the separation sheet 6 will be described. The separation sheet 6 can be removed in two ways. The first method involves tilting the separation sheet 6 by pressing its peripheral edge downwards with your fingertips. The diameter of the separation sheet 6 is smaller than the inner diameter of the upper side portion 13. Therefore, a gap is created between the separation sheet 6 and the inner surface of the upper side portion 13. It is preferable to move the separation sheet 6 horizontally by the amount of this gap. Figure 8(a) shows a state where the center of the separation sheet 6 is concentric with respect to the center of the first opening 17, without eccentricity. From this state, the separation sheet 6 can be eccentrically positioned toward the finger-insertion expansion portion 19. Figure 8(b) shows the eccentric state. By eccentrically positioning the separation sheet 6 toward the finger-insertion expansion portion 19 in this way, the portion of the separation sheet 6 located above the lowering portion 22a can be enlarged.

Then, as shown in Figure 9, insert, for example, your index finger 101 into the finger insertion extension 19 and press the periphery of the separation sheet 6 downwards with the tip of your index finger 101. At this time, if the separation sheet 6 is eccentrically positioned toward the finger insertion extension 19, the periphery of the separation sheet 6 can be easily pressed with the fingertip. By pressing the periphery of the separation sheet 6 downwards, the separation sheet 6 tilts using the support portion 21, located immediately radially inward of the lowering portion 22a, as a fulcrum, as shown in Figure 9(b). By tilting the separation sheet 6 in this way, it can be easily grasped with the other hand and removed from the container body 2. If the lowering portion 22a is provided in the lower portion 22, the periphery of the separation sheet 6 can be brought into contact with the lowering portion 22a, allowing the separation sheet 6 to be tilted stably. In particular, if the lowering portion 22a is an inclined surface, the separation sheet 6 tends to conform to the inclined surface, making it easier to maintain a stable posture for the tilted separation sheet 6.

Another method is shown in Figure 12. Note that the stepped portion 12 of the container body 2 shown in Figure 12 does not have a lower portion 22. The stepped portion 12 is of a constant height around its entire circumference. However, even if a lower portion 22 were provided on the stepped portion 12, the separation sheet 6 could still be removed using the same method. As shown in Figure 12(a), for example, an index finger 101 is inserted into the finger insertion extension 19, and the edge of the separation sheet 6 is hooked with the fingernail, and then lifted as shown in Figure 12(b). The lifted separation sheet 6 can then be easily grasped and removed from the container body 2. These two removal methods can be arbitrarily selected depending on the user's preference and circumstances.

As described above, since the cosmetic product 4 and puff 5 are housed together in a single container, there is no need to prepare the puff 5 separately, for example, at the storefront or for the user to prepare it separately after purchasing the cosmetic product 1. This is very convenient and hygienic. Furthermore, because the lower storage section 15 and the upper storage section 16 are arranged vertically, the container is compact, resource-saving, and low-cost. Therefore, it is suitable for simple cosmetic products 1, such as cosmetic products 1 offered as samples at stores or inexpensive cosmetic products 1 intended for casual use. In particular, if the container body 2 is made of synthetic resin, the container body 2 can be manufactured inexpensively. Furthermore, since a step 12 is provided between the lower storage section 15 and the upper storage section 16, when the cosmetic 4 is placed in the lower storage section 15, the cosmetic 4 is less likely to adhere to the inner surface of the upper side section 13. If the cosmetic 4 were to adhere to the inner surface of the upper side section 13, it would be more likely to adhere to the puff 5 during the manufacturing process, reducing the value of the cosmetic 1. The step 12 effectively prevents the cosmetic 4 from adhering to the puff 5 during the manufacturing process. Additionally, since the cosmetic 4 and puff 5 are separated by the separation sheet 6, it is possible to prevent the cosmetic 4 from adhering to the puff 5 in the lower storage section 15.

Since the separation sheet 6 covers the first opening 17, it is difficult for the cosmetic 4 to adhere to the puff 5. Furthermore, because the puff 5 rests on the separation sheet 6, the separation sheet 6 is less likely to shift position. Also, since the separation sheet 6 is simply placed on the stepped portion 12 and the puff 5 is placed on top of it, manufacturing is easy. In particular, when the lid 3 is in contact with the upper surface of the puff 5, the puff 5 is held between the lid 3 and the separation sheet 6 from above and below, stabilizing the puff 5. Therefore, the separation sheet 6 is also stable, and it is less likely to lift up from the upper surface of the stepped portion 12. Consequently, the adhesion of the cosmetic 4 to the puff 5 is further suppressed. Also, since the closure of the first opening 17 by the separation sheet 6 is stable, evaporation and deterioration of the cosmetic 4 are suppressed.

If a support portion 21 supporting the separation sheet 6 is provided in an annular shape on the upper surface of the stepped portion 12, the first opening 17 is effectively sealed by the separation sheet 6. The support portion 21 may be located radially outward from the first opening 17, but if the support portion 21 is adjacent to the first opening 17, it avoids the need to excessively enlarge the stepped portion 12.

Since the upper storage section 16 has a finger-insertion extension 19, the separation sheet 6 can be easily removed by inserting a fingertip into the finger-insertion extension 19. Because the finger-insertion extension 19 is provided at a position corresponding to the opening start section 30 on the entire circumference of the container body 2, the finger-insertion extension 19 can be easily provided without excessively enlarging the container.

Since a lower section 22 is provided on the upper surface of the stepped section 12, the separation sheet 6 can be tilted using the lever principle. Also, as shown in Figure 12, the separation sheet 6 can be lifted by hooking it with a fingernail. If the lower section 22 has a descending section 22a, the separation sheet 6 can be tilted stably along the descending section 22a. Furthermore, if a flat section 22b is provided outside the descending section 22a, the container body 2 can be easily manufactured even if the descending section 22a is provided. If a lower section 22 is provided in the finger insertion extension section 19, a large lower section 22 can be provided using the finger insertion extension section 19. Therefore, a height difference between the support section 21 and the lower section 22 can be easily created, allowing the separation sheet 6 to be tilted significantly. Also, the separation sheet 6 can be easily hooked and lifted with a fingernail.

The lateral bulge 25 of the upper side portion 13 extends downward compared to the rest of the upper side portion 13, allowing the container body 2 to be firmly grasped and opened by placing a finger on the lateral bulge 25. Since the lateral bulge 25 is positioned on the entire circumference of the container body 2 corresponding to the opening start portion 30, the container body 2 can be gripped along the opening direction X. Therefore, the container body 2 can be firmly gripped during opening, and the lid 3 can be easily removed.

In this embodiment, the lower portion 22 was provided only on a portion of the entire circumference of the upper surface of the stepped portion 12, i.e., only at the position of the finger insertion extension portion 19. However, the lower portion 22 may be provided around the entire circumference. Alternatively, the lower portion 22 may be provided on the stepped portion 12 without the finger insertion extension portion 19. The support portion 21 is preferably annular.
