Description
Claims (8)
- 煙道ガス排出流からCO2を分離するための膜プロセスであって、
(i)前記煙道ガスの圧力を0.8から1.5barに、かつ温度を50℃より高くし、前記ガスの10mol%を超える水蒸気を水飽和濃度の70~100%となるように含むようにする工程;
(ii)工程(i)からの前記煙道ガスが、水およびCO2に対する透過性の膜を横切る工程であって、前記膜は、前記プロセスの動作条件で測定したH2O/CO2選択性が2より大きく、かつCO2/N2選択性が10より大きく;
(iii)工程(ii)の前記膜の供給側から、前記ガス中のCO2含有量の少なくとも50%が除去された枯渇処理済煙道ガス流を除去する工程;
(iv)工程(ii)の前記膜の透過側から、0.1から0.4barの圧力で、CO2およびH2Oに富む透過ガスを除去する工程;
(v)工程(iv)からの前記透過ガスを5~30℃の温度に冷却して、前記ガス中のH2O含有量の一部を凝縮させ、前記透過ガスのH2O濃度を低下させて、水枯渇透過ガスを生成する工程であって、工程(ii)の前記膜を横切る前記煙道ガスと工程(iv)で冷却された前記透過ガスとの間の温度差が30℃を超えるものであり;
(vi)前記水枯渇透過ガス流から前記濃縮水を分離する工程;および
(vii)真空ポンプを用いて、工程(v)からの前記水枯渇透過ガスを大気圧以上にする工程、とを含む膜プロセス。 - 前記膜プロセスが、前記膜供給流のCO2含有量の50~80%を除去する、請求項1に記載の膜プロセス。
- 前記膜ユニットへの前記供給ガスが50~80℃の間の温度を有する、請求項1に記載の膜プロセス。
- 前記膜供給ガスの水蒸気量が、前記ガスの水飽和濃度の80~100%である、請求項1に記載の膜プロセス。
- 工程(i)において、前記膜供給ガス流の前記温度および水濃度を調整するために、直接接触冷却器が使用される、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の膜プロセス。
- 前記煙道ガス排気流が、石炭発電所、天然ガス発電所、天然ガスボイラー、セメント工場、製鉄所または石油精製所によって生成される、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の膜プロセス。
- 工程(i)の前記供給ガスおよび工程(iv)のCO2およびH2Oに富む透過ガスの前記水濃度の差が、少なくとも2倍である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の膜プロセス。
- 工程(ii)において前記膜を横切った前記煙道ガスと工程(iv)において冷却された前記透過ガスとの前記温度差が40℃より大きい、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の膜プロセス。
