Abstract

PURPOSE: To process electrolytic concentration of hydrogen isotope by utilizing power available from fuel cell whose fuel source is provided from hydrogen and oxygen generated in electrolytic cell as an electrolytic power.
CONSTITUTION: Raw water is supplied from line 8 to electrolytic cell, collecting respectively hydrogen generated with electrolysis into hydrogen chamber 6 or oxygen into oxygen chamber 7. In this case, tritium solution is concentrated into electrolytic cell. Hydrogen and oxygen are supplied respectively to cathode 11 and anode 12 through hydrogen line 15 and oxygen line 16. Electricity generated in fuel cell 10 flows to power source 19, supplying as an electrolytic power of electrolytic cell
