Abstract
PURPOSE: A hairdressing agent that is made by adding a specific fluorine-containing compound with perfluoroalkyl groups to an organic solvent and a film-forming resin, thus giving coating films with high luster and smoothness and having largely increased wave or curl-holding properties.
CONSTITUTION: Said hairdressing agent is obtained by dissolving a fluorine-containing compound of formula IWVI (Rf is 3W20C perfluoroalkyl; R1 and R4 are H, 1W20C alkyl; R2 and R3 are 1W20C alkyl; R5 is 1W3C alkyl; n is 0W10) and a film-forming resin in an organic solvent or dispersing. The amount of the fluorine- containing compound used is 0.01W1, preferably 0.05W0.5wt% based on the film- forming resin. The film-forming resin and the organic solvent are selected from those which are used usually. The resulting hairdressing agent readily spreads on the surface of hair to form uniform and smooth films. The fluorine-containing compound, further, functions as a stainproofing agent.
