Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize travelling by making a slide member of a supporting frame contact with a movable stopper portion on the lower surface of a supporting shaft, locating the arcuate surface of an operating frame integral with the slide member adjacent a small diameter wheel, mounting the supporting frame on the supporting shaft and providing a stopper carrier.
CONSTITUTION: When a body (b) provided with a wheel device (a) travels in the direction (c), the wheel device (a) at the front side in the advancing direction directs a stopper portion 12 to the advancing direction. A carrier 10 does not engage an engaging portion 13, and a support frame 3 can be turned about a supporting shaft 2, whereas a rear wheel device (a') is restrained. When the advancing direction is reversed to (c') and the rotation of a wheel 8 is reversed, the rotation of a small diameter wheel 8' is also reversed to lift an arcuate surface 19 so that an operating frame 16 and slide member 15 are also pivoted upwards to move the stopper portion 12 in the reverse direction and reverse the condition of the front and rear wheel devices (a), (a') for restraining (a) and making (a') pivotable. Thus, the travelling can be always stabilized in the advancing direction.
