Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily make an exchange of a plate drum in accordance with a size of the sheet area thereby to improve operation efficiency, by detachably mounting the plae drum in a main unit fixed to the main body of an offset printer and providing a rubber drum and press drum in a subunit detachably mounted on the main body. CONSTITUTION:An offset printer main body 1 is constituted with a feed unit 4 for original sheet 3, first printing portion 5, second printing portion 6 and others, and the second printing portion 6 includes a main unit 6a fixed to the main body and a subunit 6b detachably mounted on the main body. A plate drum 14 is detachably mounted in a predetermined position of a main frame 10 in the main unit 6a, and a rubber drum 20 and a press drum 21 are provided in the subunit 6b. According to such a construction, the operation efficiency for the exchange of the plate drum can be more improved and, even when the printing by the back face is achieved for exchanging the plate drum, all of the rubber drum and the press drum for a new one, no damage or contamination is caured on the back face by the press drum.
